Dracule "Hawk-Eye" Mihawk x F!Reader

Notes 1: I wanted (Y/N) to have met Zoro at some point in the pre-time skip as a foe (She lost) and since Zoro is an exceptional swordsman in her eyes, she (forcefully) choose him as her teacher after their brawl, unfortunately for Zoro, Kuma repelled you to the same place as our fav moss head. Note 2: I completely forgot about ages, but reader is older than Zoro, bc I find it funny for a grown woman to beg 19 y/o boy to teach her his swordsman ways. Note 3: It isn't specified if she is a straw hat, I left that open. Note 4: All this does not matter because I never mention it anyway.

Warnings: Oral(female receiving), wine involvement in a sexual activity.

The taste of grapes remains on your tongue, the calm, an almost invisible buzz of alcohol was underlining your headache that's been long forgotten now that the causes are thrown outside, out of your domain of expertise.

Your eyes wander over to the World Economy Newspaper, the major source of information covered in sweet propaganda and untruthful words regarding the newest attraction, the aftermath of the Summit War of Marineford. The monochrome pictures are scattered on the page and long paragraphs cry out for attention. Truly a tragedy to have greed decor and cover the crimes against humanity committed by the Marines.

Whether it's the gruesome pictures or the liquor you drank to rid of your thirst, the dry feeling on your tongue stays unnerved, it returns every few minutes you take in the wine.

It should be a familiar feeling, you think as you, yet again, grab the wine glass by the base of the stem, the clear rim is tinged with the soft color of your lipstick and there is a small amount of fluid remaining in the bowl, which you gulp down quickly, putting the empty glass back on the red tablecloth, you take a moment to swallow the last of the rich liquid. Then spinning the glass stem in between your fingers, you can feel your ears clog as the drunkenness heats your cheeks, though the wine does little to quench your thirst, the pleasant aftertaste left in your throat spreads throughout your consciousness, warm cozy fondness soon turns you drowsy and gasping for air.

Swift slamming of a cup in front of you makes you snap open your eyes (when did you close them?), and before the panic sets in an unknown voice interrupts the alarms going on in your head.

``You should know your limits.`` As soon as it came, the dread you felt quickly disappeared, and familiarity settled.

``S-Sir Mihawk!`` your flustered self is met with piercing Hawk eyes, thanking away whatever excuse that was quickly dancing on your tongue. ``Y-you have an extravagant taste in... Uh, wine Sir!``

The thought of when he had returned, or how you didn't notice his footsteps get lost in your clouded mind as his judgemental eyes wash over you, they settle under your skin, and for a moment you think pouring ice-filled water over yourself in snow would be better than the predatory gaze he sets upon you.

It isn't like he forbade drinking the wine he has hidden in every corner of the castle. Still, a drop of nervous sweat travels down your neck.

You swiftly turn away from his stare, eyes landing on the cold water-filled cup that he rudely slammed against the table, apparently for you to drink. Without words, you pour the water down your gutter, cool liquid satisfies the overheated core within, to the point that your worn-out teeth hurt from the cold sensation. By the time you set the partly empty cup down, Mihawk had already sat at the head of the table, away from you.

``Thanks for the water...``

For an unknown reason, his choice of seat made your heartache.

``Hm.``

Looking at the man, without his signature coat and the hat, felt surprisingly intimate, despite knowing each other for two weeks, all four residents, including yourself fell into a fresh routine quite easily. A routine that Mihawk adapted quickly and religiously maintained.

The hawk's eyes look up from the morning newspaper that he grabbed without your permission, and if it was anybody else, you might have said a snarky remark.

``Hand me the wine bottle.`` You have no issue being bossed around, you are more confident when following the orders of others, as annoying and humiliating as it is for somebody else, it doesn't bother you, especially when it comes to the warlord in the room, his orders are minimal, rare, and you don't feel any control from him, unlike Zoro who seems to get annoyed on your behalf whenever the older man 'dictates' your actions, leading to pointless remarks sent in your way.

Don't you feel lesser?

You stretch out your arm, sluggishly grabbing the exquisite bottle, and gently placing it in the rough hands of the swordsman.

You watch with heavy-lidded eyes as he pours himself the said wine, grabbing the glass and before he drinks, the man tilts his head down in a thankful gesture toward you.

No, I don't feel any lesser. Why? Because Mihawk does not mean demean.

It isn't until he puts his lips onto the rim that you finally recognize the stained glass. Your eyes widened.

``Wha-Hey! Don't drink it!`` you flung up your arms in the air, however, no amount of blushing could stop him in time.

``That's my glass!`` You watch as his eyes open, the wine and glass still resting on his mouth, his incorrigible face is misplaced as you mumble embarrassed whispers his way while hiding behind your hands.

A second passes, ten seconds pass. The silence suffocates your flustered face hidden behind your arms away from the prying eyes of no man.

``Huh.`` The sound escapes his (probably) lipstick-stained lips, it shatters the awkward pause between you two. ``I... apologize.`` A faint blush on his heated cheeks is swept under the rug.

It takes you a bit to let your hands down, even longer to look at him in his static eyes.

Only after he grabs himself a clean wine glass, do you stop hiding your flaming cheeks away from him, sneaking glances at the open ruffled neck his white button-up shirt includes. The residue from earlier sits beautifully on his chapped lips, giving a faint shine from the lack of proper appliance. The color stains the transparent rim, laughing and teasing you, spreading countless unknown emotions that make you shy away and maintain eye contact with a tablecloth.

``Is there something on my face, (Y/N)?`` His double-ringed eyes land on your form, which you realize is too open for sneaky glimpses you've been giving him. Unaffected by your embarrassment.

You don't know if it's a drunken haze that gave you the confidence out of thin air, but you're sure at some point you've lost yourself in the slow hum of alcohol.

``Mm. Yeah actually.`` He raised an eyebrow at your response.

The feeling spreads like a lit steel wool, the fire following your lines of sanity as it leaves only boldness exposed to a hawk. You bet everything, and by everything you mean your life, the only thing you seem to carry that has any meaning in this meaningless world, on this action.

A chair falls onto the ground. Next, you're bending ninety degrees in angle, right arm rests on your knees as you're standing in the face of a gentleman, left hand travels to the man's lips, pale in comparison to the ghostly skin, rough and torn by the sea, the frown adorns his complexion as your pointer finger pad gently smoothes the color that pops off of him. It sticks to your skin, lipstick revealing your fingerprints.

It sticks like the smell of sake clinging onto the man. The scent that only now you've picked up, due to the proximity. He must have had a great time with Zoro outside.

His eyes watch, stern and unrecognizable as you pull your digit away from his mouth, in slow-mo you let him realize what the subtle, teasing smile on your face was about. He tries to gather what decency remains within, tries to not look down as your shirt reveals soft flesh underneath, concealed in the shadows.

By now you must have caught onto the distant smell of sake clinging to his button up, however, it does not seem relevant to either of you.

Sweat dribbles down from his temple, yet his hand moves up to grab your hip, and his body follows after it. Standing upright.

In your slowly widening eyes, he sees your confidence crumble like the boulders he used for training back in his youth, so effortless to demolish under his eye.

He looked down at the roses that bloomed under your eyes, wide and shaken for an unknown reason.

``Are you flustered?`` There are no words that meet him, his question causes your hands, resting on his chest, to tighten. He already knows the answer.

He drags your body closer, feeling your heat under his skin. His thigh drags your nether region unintentionally rubbing the cloth between your bodies. A hiss escapes your lips, his eyes narrow. ``Y-you're so...!`` You say between your clenched teeth, face heated.

Mihawk's arm tightens around your torso, shoving his knee further until he makes your buttocks meet the edge of the table. The wine bottle rocks back and forth.

``So?``

You are trapped.

``...So... Frustrating...`` Your eyes shut tightly as his lips meet yours. The strong aftertaste of Sake hits your wet muscle since the wine was not enough to cover it. His tongue eagerly entangles with yours, leaving you breathless. Through the clothes, you can feel his hand on your waist trail up your ribs and rest across your chest. It grabs at buttons and frees your body to his eyes.

Your heart thunders in your ear. Embarrassed you grab at his shoulders as he grabs at your thighs, kneading it before dragging you up and on top of the table. With great vigor, his hand removes whatever restriction was between your private parts, dragging and tossing it away. He then does the same with the other bear for the other side, and then again for the doorway he just came through by flinging the broken door at the group there.

One Piece Chapter 1091 - Initial Thoughts

Well I'm ill, caught a cold over the weekend where I went to Wembley. But One Piece has shown up early on TCB so you best believe I'm gonna review it!

These breaks are frustrating, but with Live Action out tomorrow hopefully we will get consistency soon.

A pizza-themed color spread this time, everyone enjoying some cheesy pizza, Brook is on babysitting duty for Chopper it seems since Franky and Robin are not in the spread

The Mark 3s attack the Navy and the soldiers immediately forget their orders to focus on the Sea Monsters and ignore the Mark 3s

So the Sea Monsters attack from the hull

The Vice Admirals go on the attack though, seems that Neck Rolls has steam powers? Or steam tech

Usopp sees the carnage below, but Vegapunk is surprised that the Navy is attacking given how Sentomaru supersedes their authority

The crew of course do not have fond memories of Kizaru

Vegapunk is sympathetic to Sentomaru who is standing his ground

Sentomaru's strongest defense alas is not enough to repel the admiral

Kizaru does the Katakuri trick to avoid the slice of Sentomaru's axe (since Ryou would mean he knows armament haki)

Mini Sentomaru flashback though, he was a kid looking for a job to spend on Onigiri, he beat up some bears before Kizaru and Vegapunk could get to them

Kizaru at least has an ounce of sentiment for sentomaru sent there to sent sent sent

But that doesn't stop him from sending Sentomaru back to the ground light and crispy

With Sentomaru KO'd again, Kizaru's authority chip commands the Mark 3s to destroy the Sea Monsters, so that advantage didn't last

Question though: Saturn outranks all authority, why not just lead with that? Since he was a little irked with losing the sea monsters

Despite lamenting Sentomaru's loss, the Punks continue to hack, knowing that Kizaru will break in momentarily

Kizaru's entry sets off the alarm, but the Vega Force 01 is still carrying the Sunny to the agreed position

Hurrying will do nothing against the speed of light

In the chaos Lucci makes his move, but Stussy takes the blow for Vegapunk

Sanji jumps into action using Nami's bubble gun to trap Kaku, who was kept out the loop

Zoro meanwhile steps up to face the CP0 agent

Lucci seems pretty confident with Kizaru flanking him, but Zoro reminds him not to underestimate them

Kizaru makes it to the Vega Force, having been in search of the Sunny

But he's met with a strike by Luffy, he got his arms up but that means he was worried about it

'We're 100 times stronger than we were 2 years ago' Shakky did say that Rayleigh was 100 times stronger, so are we generalizing or are we saying Rayleigh-tier now Oda?

Another break -_- Live Action is tomorrow so there better be no more for a while after this

We're getting to the fisticuffs part of the arc now; Lucci vs Zoro and Luffy vs Kizaru. To his credit, Sentomaru lasted longer than most but the conclusion was always foregone. I doubt he or Stussy are dead though, just slightly injured so we don't have to concern them in combat.

Not sure if we'll stick with the two fights mind you, part of me wonders if Kaku's allegiances will be challenged, but something does still have to give with the remaining crewmates combat-wise (I do also really want to see Usopp humiliate Lucci in a callback to him challenging him at Enies Lobby). I can only guess that the Seraphim may be unleashed again, because the barrier will stop the vice admirals from reaching the dome, but I also expected that we'd go back and see all the stuff that happened with the Seraphim and Kuma memories the previous night - and still do - so it's still up in the air.

"who's the new one...?" Bee tilt his head at the new cat with the gem. At his presence, Adamite open his eyes to look at him in alarm but seems to calm down as if he notice danger from before, is not with bee.

"mika." The gem simple answers as the cat that seems to shine like a gem stared at the two pinky. "Oh. one of the Valkyria unit..." Doll mumble nodding his head.

"Hewo." The heterochromatic eyed gem cat meows at them. "How are ya everynyan." Mika approaches them with a smile before circling around Doll.

"Do ya want some cawndies..." The cat proceed to pull a candy and place it in front of Doll. "That fwea give me those."

"what." Bee the very sane person he is. "DO YOU MEAN OMAE!" He went down to held the cat who meow at him innocently. "Hmm. Yup~ Kurieitā-san nya." Mika nodded his head.

"huh. Did omae made something again..."

"rude." Adamite mumble as he stood up and takes mika from Bee and place him besides kitty and Kuma who's sleeping in a soft pillow. "That... Person. Said they'll give kitty more friends and protector." The gem added as he lay down in the grass again. Not wanting to explain again.

That wiring looked unsafe as Chisaki quickly gave chase, Saburo jumping up and using his Quirk to rip out an electrical cable, which sparked viciously as it hit the floor, electrifying it and shocking Overhaul as Saburo dived out the door, landing on his feet as he soon found the Take car. "Get the car going, we have to get out of here!" Saburo shouted, throwing open the door in the front and getting in next to Kuma as the warehouse splintered open. "DRIVE!" He screamed, using Gold Experience to punch away the chunks of concrete being thrown at them.

What his son had gotten them into this time he didn't even want to know. He'd been calm at first, until they were apparently being chased by-

If Katsuki asked, Izuku honestly could not say what the movie they were watching was about.

It was a rare day, with Katsuki being off but Izuku was scheduled in - these days, Izuku hated almost as much as the days he was off, but Katsuki was in. He always felt bad leaving the apartment so early, but he always tried to make it so Katsuki could sleep in if he wanted. He made sure to leave him some sandwiches, wrapped neatly to remain warm, alongside feeding all the animals. Izuku often took both Noodle and Kuma along to work with him, leaving only the cats.

And curse Izuku’s luck, a villain attack had sent a lot of heroes over to his lab. Emergency repairs. Thankfully, most of the emergency repairs are simple, easy to put the items back together to allow the heroes to continue their work, continue fighting villains, and save people. And, Izuku had his part to play with that. As a result, he was unable to finish on time as he usually aimed for; making sure to send a text back to Katsuki informing him of his later arrival.

He’d finally gotten home an hour later than normal - melting into the blond for a quick hug, before heading for a shower. He’s pretty sure he got oil in his hair this time, scrubbing most of the substance out. Honestly? By the time they’d wrapped up dinner and opted for a movie, Izuku pressed firmly into Katsuki’s side, he was already feeling the impact of the day. Eventually, Izuku’s eyes flutter - and snap open as he feels himself being lifted, a little startled squeak of alarm before realizing. Oh. Katsuki had picked him up - wait, had the movie finished? it was gone, the room was dark. He couldn’t tell if Kacchan had turned the movie off, or if he’d slept through it. He’s too sleepy, opting instead to nestle into Katsuki’s soft shirt, letting the smell of caramel soothe him. “...Wha’s going on...?” He slurred instead, mangled hand coming to lightly hang onto Katsuki’s shirt. “...Movie...?” It’s then he realizes that Katsuki is likely carrying him to bed, not one to let him sleep somewhere that his back won’t appreciate in the morning.

He really needed to remember to thank the other in the morning.

𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘  𝗔𝗥𝗘  𝗙𝗘𝗪  𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦  𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧  𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗞𝗘  𝗞𝗔𝗧𝗦𝗨𝗞𝗜 .      even over time,   his nightmares decreased in frequency,   altering their severity      ⸺      he scarcely dreams of his time as ground zero anymore,   of the times he would look at his hands covered in blood not of his own,   bits of ash and smoke clinging to once well-maintained costume.     his dreams of other concerns,   fears,   they were becoming less and less common too.     it guarantees a more restful sleep on more frequent occasions      ╱      the years may not have always been kind,   but he  always  had that.     he would always have the past that was left in the past,   a haunting that cannot continue if he knows how to handle it.

tonight,   though,   he finds himself  restless.     crimson eyes stare up at the ceiling as the quiet snoring of his cats take up the space izuku would usually be in,   hands twitching,   mind running through every ill-ending scenario he can think of.

izuku is quirkless.     that isn’t the core issue,   of course      ╱      it was late,   an odd hour in the morning,   and there was no contact from the other about it.     katsuki reasons with himself in his head ;     maybe he worked so hard he passed out at the support lab,   dozing off with noodle on standby.     maybe he forgot to message.     (  that doesn’t sit right.     katsuki can’t recall a point where izuku just  forgot  to leave him a text      ⸺      it happened to be one of the things they got into the habit of doing,   and it often kept katsuki’s mind at ease.  )     but izuku’s quirklessness plays into the grander issues he starts to think about ;     what ifs disturb katsuki further and further,   driving him further away from rest,   the circles under his eyes prominent as kuma lifts herself from her bed to check on him.

he can’t stay here.     he  has  to know what the hell was going on,   even if it meant being up at 1:37 in the morning      ⸺      he’ll kill izuku later if it’s a false alarm.

the cool evening air eats at katsuki’s patience as he makes it out the door,   hoodie slipped over his shirt as he presses his hands together,   warms them.     there was no snow yet ;     there was a slight trickle of rain,   however,   the blond scowling when he sees it the moment he’s out of the apartment complex      ╱      he doesn’t turn back.     (  it would be a waste of time to go back for a stupid umbrella.     he could tolerate the damn rain if it meant figuring out where the  hell  izuku was,   undeterred by its miserable cold touch.  )     he glances around briefly to then start making his way on their usual path to and from the agency.

the rain starts to soak his hoodie,   flatten his hair ;     his boots give him the benefit of avoiding being soaked from puddles as he paces further along,   eyeing his surroundings and listening for anything.     any  little detail that might clue him in to where izuku was,   or if noodle was nearby,   so he might take him to the other      ⸺      the rain obscures his vision and the lights from the nearby streets don’t help any.     the darkness only makes it harder for the bakugou to distinguish colour.     even if he was lucky,   green won’t stand out in this weather.

❝    izuku ?    ❞     he calls out his name into the darkness,   waiting for a response to be echoed back,   a bark to help him locate them.     nothing.     ❝    noodle ?     where th’hell ...    ❞

a shiver shoots down the blond’s spine as the rain intensifies,   grumbling at the way it seeps into his bones ;     his hands come back together and he attempts a few sparks to warm them up,   to combat the incoming cold,   but it doesn’t bring much relief.     among his attempts to keep warm is a concerned crimson gaze shooting down every alley he walks past,   occasionally making a detour that he knows they  sometimes  take in case there was media about      ╱      even when he loops back to his original point,   there seems to be no sign of izuku.

the concern builds,   grips at his lungs and steals his breath as he keeps persisting forward with his search.     this wasn’t good weather to be caught up in.     beyond that,   if noodle was close by,   then he should’ve heard  something,   gone for help.     unless ...     the weather was extremely cold      ⸺      it wouldn’t be so farfetched that noodle might’ve needed to prioritise between finding help and providing it.     (  he can’t imagine that poor dog was handling the weather too well.     even with a long coat,   being caught in this ...  )     katsuki grips his phone and tries giving izuku a call instead,   pressing it to his ear.     nothing.     he tries again to listen out for the other’s ringtone.     when he doesn’t hear anything,   his brows furrow,   snarl apparent as he keeps pressing forward.

finally,   finally,   he finds something.     (  not that it was any good ;     the sight of it sends katsuki’s panic through the roof,   eyes wide as he lifts it up,   examines it.  )     it wasn’t much to work with,   a part of izuku’s hoodie he’d worn today,   but it meant he couldn’t be far off now.

❝    izuku !    ❞     a pause.     ❝    noodle !     c’mere !    ❞

through the rainfall,   katsuki manages to catch wind of a bark      ╱      he sprints in the direction,   listening out for the continued barking,   skidding to a halt in front of an alleyway where the barking was clear.     the sight ⸺

izuku is  covered  in blood.     noodle is resting on his chest,   likely trying to prevent hypothermia from setting in with the way the weather’s been,   even looking relieved to see the other standing in the alley entryway.     izuku barely looks in focus and katsuki can’t determine if it was because of an injury,   loss of blood,   ending up with hypothermia anyway,   or ⸺     all of the above,   if he was unlucky.     and ⸺     dammit,   his hoodie is soaked,   it wouldn’t help anything if he tried taking it off to help warm him up ... !

❝    fuck,    ❞     katsuki dashes over,   kneeling down in the soaked ground with his hands immediately ushering noodle off for now      ╱      he  needs  to find the wounds.     he needs to apply pressure,   if they’re as bad as they seem to be,   hand pushing the other’s fringe out of his face.     he looks ...     horrible.     ❝    izuku,   it’s me.     katsuki.     stay with me.    ❞

when he finds one of the wounds,   katsuki ends up slipping off his hoodie to use the fabric to his advantage,   pressing it against the open injury and watching it mingle with the rainwater that already immersed itself within the cotton.     (  how long had he been like this ?     can he even walk,   let alone stand ?     and  noodle,   he ⸺  )     the blond hears noodle barking at him,   looking at the dog and seeing him settling between them,   looking at katsuki.     it was likely because he’s putting himself at the mercy of the cold.     he remains undeterred.

that didn’t mean the rain was enjoyable.     fuck,   it was freezing,   even as he keeps the pressure up with one hand while the other fumbles for his phone.     he’s glad the damn thing had waterproof casing and water resistance.     he just needed to call emergency ...

katsuki knows that he  has  to stay as calm as possible,   as to not freak izuku out through the delirium and bleeding.     he knows he has to relay everything to the emergency services as calmly as he can so they understand what he’s saying,   what aid they need to provide when they make it on-scene ;     but his hands are shaking.     even though he puts a stoic wall up in front of izuku,   perhaps noodle would recognise it better at this stage      ╱      there is a sense of terror instilling within him.     fear,   distress.

❝    i’ve got someone with a serious injury.     he’s bleeding,   delirious,   ‘n not respondin’ very well to stimuli.    ❞     katsuki presses the phone between his ear and shoulder.     with his newly freed hand,   he reaches to make sure izuku doesn’t move      ⸺      hand pressing on the centre of his chest as he stares at him,   stern.     don’t try it.     ❝    we’re in an alleyway just a bit away from the bakugou agency.     he’s got a therapy dog,   ‘n i can get him to alert when yer nearby.     his name’s izuku midoriya,   blood type o,   and he ⸺    ❞

impatient,   frustrated.     katsuki snarls through the phone.

❝    y’don’t need my stupid  fuckin’  details.     now hurry th’fuck up and get someone on scene before he bleeds out ‘n i got a good goddamn reason t’kill each ‘n every one of you.    ❞

he hears them hesitate before assuring him help was on the way.     it doesn’t bring any sense of relief that he  thought  it would.

they tell him to keep talking to izuku,   to try and keep him as engaged as possible while the paramedics work on arriving within the next five minutes.     he doesn’t feel ready to move his hand off izuku’s chest lest he attempts to move.

❝    dammit,   why can’t y’stay outta trouble for longer than one fuckin’ second,   huh ?!     why’s it that yer the most trouble-centred person i’ve  ever  fuckin’ met,   ‘n y’don’t even have a quirk to fuckin’ cause trouble  with,   you ⸺    ❞     bastard.     you fucking  bastard.     the tremor in his hands becomes more clear,   now ;     were it not for the rain,   maybe the other would be able to tell the difference between the freshwater droplets washing down his face and the salty tears that mingle among them,   borne of frustration.     ❝    ...     you piss me th’fuck off,   y’know that ?    ❞

there are,   indeed,   few  things that shake katsuki.     his past no longer haunts him in the same way it used to,   and he isn’t tormented every night      ╱      these are things he is grateful for,   things he could move beyond.

but this ?     this shakes katsuki to his very core ;     a living nightmare playing on loop,   the sight of izuku covered in his own blood and unaware of the world around him,   barely able to understand his life was in danger.     if he fought back,   then he lost.     he lost and the villain that hurt him had to have been  sure  he would die      ⸺      unbeknownst to katsuki’s intuition,   the nagging concern that something wasn’t quite right.

no.     he  can’t  let this shake him.     not tonight.
