On irony, depression and "intellect"

Maru: Ironic how the craziest people are those who look serious -points to the mirror- And how crazy awesome people degrade what they think of themselves. -points at Kyun-

Mara: The world is full of ironies.

Maru: Yep. XD; One I strongly believed is that the happiest are the loneliest. We often project the opposite of who we are.

Mara: Yeah. People who laugh a lot are trying to hide something. LOL haha meeeee. 8D

Maru: HAHAHA. Natamaan xD; Eiyah, we are the same to an extent.

Mara: THEREFORE WE ARE AWESOME AND PEOPLE JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND OUR INTELLECT. HAHAHAHAHA. Not to be conceited or anything, but I read somewhere that people who get depressed or over-analyze stuff are actually the smart ones. 8D Don't know if that's true. Makes sense though, since people like me (LOL I sound so obnoxious) tend to get depressed over things-- well, maybe except fandom stuff 8D-- that they know will make an impact. We know causes and effects.

Maru: YAY. (SHOULD I BE YAY-ING? XD;;) I get depressed easily and over-analyze too. WE MUST BE GENIUSES. Haha xD;; Hm. Sets you to thinking though.

Mara: Yeah. Oh, and people who talk to themselves get smarter. XD Makes sense too, 'cause you argue with yourself. XD

Maru: ...And I though that was a weird habit of mine. (I sound obnoxious.) But I really do that too.

Mara: LOL let's be obnoxious together. 8D Maybe that's why it's not weird for me to make friends via sites like Tumblr (and not creepy dating sites or whatever), where you find people through posts you both like or find out more about them through personal posts. I think those kind of people are smart too, since they think a lot and talk to themselves by posting blog entries. 8D

Maru: I also think artistic people and musicians are smart, comedians as well as they seem to give depth to the simplest of things which require thinking as well.

Mara: True daaaat.

Maru: 8D... What do you usually get depressed over?

Mara: Hmm? IDK. Petty things. LOL does that still make me intelligent or am I just a really depressed person? HAHAHAHA. Like uhm... getting depressed over my skills (not like I can sing or play instruments at work; drawing is more practical), or when I lose old school files that might be of help in the future, or my mother wanting to donate MY precious books away, or how people just leave problems unresolved when everyone can just set pride aside for a while and just SETTLE things, or how people get bitter during Valentine's Day 'cause they don't freakin' know WHY there is a Valentine's Day anyway, or the video of a girl in China that got hit by a vehicle and left alone to die, or the last phone call of a man in one of the World Trade Center towers.

Maru: ...If you call that petty, IDK what I'm depressed over now. Some are over people, especially elders in nursing homes when their kids can take care of them. My actions when I suddenly think of how it could be better (even if it was good). People who go FML without even trying to build back their lives. Calls that could have meant a lot yet avoided. Skipping chances that could be. And mostly people who lose sight of themselves and their dreams. Maybe not that petty but still is.

Mara: LOL no, yours aren't petty. Whenever I tell other people about these things, they just say they don't care or I should stop thinking about them. Like getting depressed over the fact that my batchmates vote for certain candidates because of their face value, or nobody wants to run for office or never caring over projects that we spend so much time on. And how the good leaders don't want government positions 'cause they stopped giving a damn since the ones that run for power are such idiots for ruining the entire system. And all that people want nowadays is money.

Working on my oc Altherius. I think I might make him like an apprentice to the God of Time but Al betrayed him and became the current god of time. He was a horologist l, a person who studies time, but became a god by using Vixen, another oc of mine, for his own personal gain.

Altherius was originally going to be the God of time but I fell in love with the idea of him being a Horologist gone mad. A Horologist is a person who studies the measurement of time. He was studying it out of fascination but started reading too deep into it and started wondering if he would be able to control it somehow. He started messing with clocks and cogs, experimenting with different things. Eventually, he started losing his mind. He wasn’t human anymore. He became demonic like. ((I’m working on how he would look still)) He was married to Vixen but I’ll talk about that after I draw her. I’m still figuring things out though, so this may change.
