NEW EPISODE: Episode 08 is all about Alfred Stieglitz’s “The Steerage.”   Many people think this is about immigrants being turned away at port, but that’s not actually the case.  In fact, there’s a lot about this photo you may not know about.  It’s even considered to be the photograph that ushered in modern photography.  Let’s take a look at what makes this image stand the test of time and how it’s still relevant even to this day.

i'm so lazy how do i start working out lol

i remember the days i was too lazy to workout :) dont worry the hardest bit is starting! make sure you are eating lots of nutritious foods that give you energy, make sure your well hydrated and are getting lots of sleep, about 8-9 hours a night. the best time to workout is in the mornings, if you wake up, put gym gear on and go for an early morning 7am run then thats a good start, take your ipod with you and create a good running playlist. it doesnt have to be very far, just start off with a 10 minute run/jog. and its okay to slow down as long as you dont stop. :) when you get home have a protein shake or something that helps your muscles and then you will be feeling energised all day. if you cant do mornings then do afternoons, get off the couch/out of bed, put on your most slimming workout gear and gym shoes and that will inspire you. or even look in the mirror and say bye bye to the old you :) there are many other ways you can start working out, like have a gym/workout buddy or do it as a social thing with your friends. these are just a few ideas and i hope that you succeed! i wish you all the best :)

Im asking the tumblr community for some help. My best friend sam or on tumblr artisticimpact is currently in the hospital after being run over by a van, with a fractured neck and broken back sam will make a full recovery but it will take up to 6 months. note to self: next time my roommate goes to vancouver without me im going to send her with a survivor package, its going to include cab fare for when she is drunk and lost, ood and a bottle of water so she can sober up enough to be helpful, one of those yellow rain jackets so she doesnt get drenched and sick all forms of bandages and cleaning supplies for when she hurts herself(which is always) and a tracking device so when she gets lost atleast ill be able to track her down eventually, this girl sure has talent hahahaha
