Artea: Yeah, I used to be on 2b2t, I've met- I've seen Fit on 2b2t before as well. And then was promptly killed, but you know what, that's fine. Yeah. I haven't even told Fit that story yet, so... Honestly, you guys are the first one to hear about that aside from like, one or two admins.

Holy shit I love this new 2b2t au?? It’s so good! The idea of Tubbo and Techno becoming uneasy allies in order to save their friends from the prison and Techno just being blown away by Tubbo’s base, John Mulaney style, is absolutely fantastic. Dream trying to use Tubbo’s trust issues to manipulate him into joining Dream’s side? Brilliant. I want all the headcanons for this new au.

2b2t Tubbo is something that lives in my head rent free. Let’s get some headcanons!

-A lot of people in 2b2t saw Tubbo as a pest when he was younger. No one wants to take him in. Especially considering how easy it is to die on the server

-Those who did help him got raided after a while and he had to ditch and usually the bed was destroyed. And considering that animals are hard to find...yeah. That was terrifying

-The whole “Tubbo in the box” adoption was something Tubbo asked Phil to just tell everyone else. Mainly because he doesn’t want to let anyone know that he is from 2b2t

-There’s some foreshadowing that Tubbo is more than he seems. Mainly just some passing comments on some weapons and some others about how easy things get stolen. Biggest one is when Wilbur blew up L’Manberg and he just muttered something about it not being as bad as the 2b2t spawn

-If people finds his bases without him telling them the okay, then he usually goes and destroys the base right away. TNT if the person is going to go and bring others right away, pickaxe and replacing the blocks with natural ones if they aren’t coming for a long time

-He doesn’t take as much shit as canon Tubbo does but Exile and Butcher Army both happen mainly because if they don’t do this, it will most likely fuck up a lot of things. Techno gets a fair-ish trial at least before it is interrupted by Quackity saying fuck it and just using the anvil immediately

-He is very possessive of items that mean a lot to him

-Tubbo does not want to fight like he did in 2b2t. Thus he usually holds back when it comes to fights

-All the members of the SMP went and passed by one of Tubbo’s secret bases at least once

-After the prison breakout, everyone asked where Techno got all the Withers and gear in a short amount of time. Techno was about to tell them that Tubbo got it but he only shook his head when they made eye contact. Only Techno and Tubbo now knows about the secret bases

-Conversation between Phil and Tubbo after Doomsday was not pretty. Tubbo basically cry-shouted at him about everything and told Phil about how he knew where Tubbo came from. He knew what Tubbo saw and he promised that he will never be in an anarchy server ever again. Well look around now Phil! It’s starting to look like one ever since you blew up L’Manberg!

-Everyone noticed that Tubbo was more tense and distrusting after Doomsday. He would go and draw his sword at others if caught by surprise and question why others were helping him and Tommy often

-Dream is being really careful with his manipulations because he now knows that Tubbo is perfect and if Dream had him on his side, then he would have someone to step up in his place if ever Dream is taken down. But then on the other hand, he knows that if Tubbo figures out Dream’s manipulations, then hell is going to be rained on him. He has to be careful that the sword doesn’t become double-edged in the process

-Dream goes and exploits Tubbo’s trust issues by mentioning on how he trusted Phil and then that trust being crushed. He basically goes and tells him about how everyone left him and cares more about something than himself. How eventually, the others went and stabbed him in the back and left him alone

-Tubbo left coordinates to one of his bases for Tommy if things ever go south and things look bad. It’s even more rich and it seems like a safe house. Just somewhere you can genuinely live in

OHHH what’s the coolest thing you were around to witness? :OO

was it an infinity incursion build project? coming across an old untouched base? a popular youtuber being online at the same time as you? most likely none of these I’m just guessing

actually i meant coolest thing in context to coolest exploit! way back in roughly january-february 2020, there was a fuckup at mojang which made people be able to get into other peoples accounts without a password, which hit both hypixel and 2b2t hard

i remember seeing a post on the reddit of a guy asking if his hacked client was backdoored because his enderchest and inventory got wiped and he got killed back to spawn, but people just commented calling him an idiot, until it began to happen to more and more people, and then the whole thing slowly got released

nerds inc had a play on it too, i remember chatting with someone about it and them telling me ‘hey, also, nerds inc used the exploit’ then BAM heard the same thing from fits video a few days later. i was very active in the 2b2t community at the time so i really watched it all unfold

apart from exploits though, i think the coolest 2b2t related things that have happened to me was either talking to itristan or getting a 200 dollar commission from a big 2b2t player. and server-wise… either making and hanging out with my own group, or finding old rusher and veteran bases!
