Tag 25: Minicomputer und Mäuseklaviere

Der fünfundzwanzigste Beitrag in meiner Reihe von Beiträgen zur Neugestaltung der Ausstellung in meinem Computermuseum. Something I found in an antique shop, an Atari Portfolio from 1989. You might have seen John Connor using one of these to hack an ATM in Terminator II. Apparently these were the first "palmtop", but no word on why. It's a pain to use.
They run on three AA batteries and are mostly compatible with DOS 2.11 though, which is wild.
If you have the optional serial adapter it's possible to transfer data to these from a modern computer using a serial to USB cable (great guide on this at https://biosrhythm.com/?p=1441)
Last time I tried everything got lost a few days later when the internal battery died so I don't bother anymore. Haven't seen that serial adapter in a while come to think of it...

Sorry for the barely readable screen, I was too lazy to setup a softbox.
