Charlie Chaplin and Paulette Goddard at Louella Parsons place in the country called Marsons Ranch. The article says the Doberman Pinscher was theirs' but I've also read it was Louella's.

Louella met Charlie back in 1915 when she worked at Essanay Studio in Chicago as a script writer). When Charlie arrived at Essanay studio to film “His New Job” he was told go up to the script department, he told them thank you but he wrote his own.

Parson would go onto to become a famous Hollywood gossip columnist - her rival Hedda Hopper. In the 1940′s/50's with all the troubles that plagued Chaplin in the press, as vile as Hopper was towards him with a bent towards destroying him, Louella Parsons was much kinder.

Dean Arnold Corll, better known as "Candyman", was an American serial killer. Was born in Fort Wayne (Indiana) on December 24, 1939. He committed at least 28 murders in Texas with accomplices; the string of killings is also known as the "Houston Mass Murders".

On August 10, 1964 he joined the United States Army and was transferred to Fort Polk (Louisiana) for training; he later moved to Fort Beginning (Georgia) and Fort Hood (Texas) as a radio repairman.
