RWDE tag in a nutshell

Ugh...

So, since I was originally anticipating that there would be like, 24 episodes, I divided everything into 3s. Just to make sure that everything would line up. But, since CRWBY decided that their hectic scheduling process was an organized one when I personally don’t believe that it is, we have this.

On the bright side, I’m going to be using screenshots from the RT Website, which is a first. So, look forward to that. Anyways, on with the review.

Also: Since you’ve been too lazy to actually do anything to describe the setting or jokes, you should have done this in the first place. 

So we open up on Ozpin introducing a Battle of the Bands (Freaking called it), and we have some nice imagery. Tai is filming the whole thing, and Cinder is still cynical about it all (The Emberald shipper in me makes me think that she’s just there to see Emmy, but that’s just me because I’m shipping trash).

So did everyone else: Even I did and I took two minutes to think about it.

And what about Ozpin’s voice, what about what he’ saying, what about his body language? Still ain’t doing that huh?

How nobody can see Cinder going behind the stage I have no idea, but regardless, it’s there.

Still don’t see critiquing so far.

Puns and Roses totally sounds like a name that Yang, Ruby, and Nora would come up with. Why or how Blake and Weiss agreed to it I have no idea, but whateves. They don’t seem all that invested in it to begin with

And OH THANK GOD! Tai is back to the “embarrassing dad“ trope rather than the “I can fix anything, including my daughters’ teeth” trope.Oh, I missed this Tai. I missed it so much

And what we see is...no mention of the joke embarrassing yang by leaping into the scene talking about how he wasn’t recording and then asking her to do it again, reflecting embarrassing parents. You had ONE job and you failed it.

PS: I ain’t buying it. After all your shit about taiyang: I ain’t buying it.

The Nep-Tunes is still a kinda lame name, I don’t think it’s a band reference. I get that ‘Trouble Cleft’ wasn’t one either, but Nep-Tunes just sounds lazy. Guess that’s what happens when Miles Jaune is the one who has to approve of everything (HEY-YO!). But, typical boy band fashion, these guys are probably going to be lame.

Well, at least Miles didn’t rip off someone else and completely fuck it up *cough* Aftermath: The DB Chronicles *cough*

And again, no mention of the fucking joke with Ren and Sun being desperate to stop jaune and Neptune from high fiving. It exists: REVIEW IT.

Again, nobody is noticing the fact that one of the bands has freaking GRIMM IN IT??? I know that this is a more lighthearted show, but can we PLEASE! NOT make the characters THIS dense? We already have enough of that from Jaune.

Again: FAILING TO REVIEW THE JOKE! If anyone is dense here, it’s you for not even DOING a review.

P3nn-3 (I think I heard two Ns in there) is clever. But I thought that it would be a bit more techno and a little less, uh…

it’s a DJ. A fucking DJ. A super common trope older than we are. Also, refusing to fucking acknowledge the joke about Penny’s musical name.

Again: IS NOBODY SEEING THIS? I mean, there’s being dumb, then there’s being stupid. WHY IS NOBODY FREAKING OUT OVER GRIMM BEING THERE? do they think they’re just people in costume? And if so, why aren’t people freaking out over known criminal ROMAN TORCHWICK introducing them?

It is. A. Comedy. SPIN OFF. Of course, your refusal to even acknowledge humor in the show leads me to believe you are so dumb you forgot it.

The music was nice while it lasted though… And eff you for not letting us hear Neo’s voice. But this is a battle, so… do we have a line here?

Oh gee, it’s almost as though there was a joke about Nora hitting Ruby, then aksing if Ruby was on her team...

You know what this is? 

A guy spouting stupid bullshit and random dumb commentary then tried passing it off as a critical review.

Which is the entire problem with the RWDE tag when they say “They do’t take our criticisms!”: This is the criticism they give. Rambling bullshit until there’s something they can controversial and then claim that as a fucking review. Nothing is said about what works and whats doesn’t, how it works and how it doesn't and no advice or attempt for improvement. You can have these stupid opinions all you want but the problems comes when you try to pass them off as intellectual fact. From episode 10 onward: Dudeblade never reviewed the show. he just rambled and stumbled around until he could shout sexism or racism.  And that’s the RWDE in a nutshell: Ignoring everything they can’t bitch about while trying to claim their personal opinions as fact.

So why should anyone listen to you, let alone RT?
