TREKMATCH! # 287 - Enterprise's "Fight Or Flight" vs 1985's Disciples of the 36th Chamber
DISCIPLES OF THE 36TH CHAMBER aka PI LI SHI JIE
A goofball keeps getting in some trouble so his mom sends him and his brothers to reform school (the 36 chambers of Shaolin). There he learns to lift logs and fight and jump onto roofs, but he still is sort of a mischief maker and nearly gets his entire school killed by the new Manchu governor, who *hates* Shaolin. It's funny and there are a couple decent fights what more do you want?
GRADE: C-
STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE - "Fight or Flight"
Enterprise finds an adrift ship full of corpses having their blood sucked out by a machine and Archer is like let's find the murderers who did this, but T'Pol is like no let's look at some asteroids instead. Guess who wins the argument? Also Hoshi wants to quit Starfleet because she got scared of the blood machine.
GRADE: C
Victory to Trek, so Trek is up 145-142!

Appearing in over 100 films Jason Pai Piao is one of the most prolific old school kung fu actors. He has been been in various Shaw Brothers productions as well as independent kung fu films. Some films to watch featuring Pai Piao include Action Tae Kwon Do, Butcher Wing, The Black Dragon, Killer Constable, Shaolin Intruders, Disciples of the 36th Chamber and The Supreme Swordsman. Jason Pai Piao's shapes and stances make him stand out among the classic kung fu era actors. We salute Jason Pai Piao as a Dojo Fight Master.
