#Flawless Cait is flawless

'Hello again, I am the Anon struggling with Google Translate.
New pic of C available on Getty, for the moment all by herself. Tony already made his monthly apparition, justifying his paycheck.
If you understand anything about body language, you'd notice how her smile is more relaxed with those women than when she's with her whatever he is, because being spotted in public with him probably triggers some rash or skin reaction which comes across as her being visibly uneasy.'
Anon, I think you mean this lovely pic, taken today in London by the same photographer (Dave Bennett), on behalf of Netflix, at a lunch for Bradley Cooper and Carey Mulligan, hosted by Charles Finch, to celebrate 'Maestro' (hahahahaha - ok, I'll stop). A movie she has nothing to do with:
Tumblr media
The venue, Maison Assouline at Piccadilly, is one of those sophisticated bookshop-cum-bar-cum-function rooms affairs. Typical C. - she was there in her element and it shows.
I wish and pray all the Greek Gods she would ditch that madre superiora of the Ursulines accoutrement. It makes her look way older and way more austere than she really is. But as I already told @arakanui1 in the comments thread of another post, I suppose she finds this champagne socialist look (' oh, I am reading Uzbek novels of destitution and loss and I am eating only on unbleached banana leaves') very telling and representative of herself as a Serious Actress. I still idiotically hope that funny and bubbly girl hasn't been killed by this matronly, forbidding public persona.
I agree with all the rest. And since you've mentioned a movie currently on Netflix, may I recommend the best Greek series ever made, also on Netflix? It's called Maestro in Blue, is absolutely flawless and features the still very bankable (and totally my type) Christoforos Papakaliatis being 🧨with the much younger and angelic blonde Klelia Andriolatou, somewhere on a beach on the magical island of Paxos.
Oh, and it's been renewed for a second season, I think they shot already most of it in Corfu.
Drop by anytime, Anon Rebelde! Thank you!

Going to post a snippet of the Reeve/Rufus fanfic I've been working on the past couple of days. It's coming along pretty quickly, which is an ongoing relief. For context, Reeve has come to Rufus and is trying to tender his resignation and Rufus being Rufus of course makes it into one ridiculous powerplay with a lot of manipulation.
Reeve is tired and over the bullshit. I feel like I'm writing a little...harsher than I've seen people write him in fanfic but I figure after everything that has happened and the fact Rufus is practically still in the enemy column in Reeve's books...well, lets say it's going to take a while to get to the lovers part of this enemies to lovers tropefest.
As always, this is super rough and not really edited, it is liable to change yadda yadda.
Whenever Rufus Shinra looked at his most harmless, that was when he was at his deadliest.
“You know, I could have you executed for the traitorous actions you took in aiding AVALANCE and undermining my authority.”
“You won’t do that.” The engineer stated, voice surprising even despite the way heart rabbited in his chest at a wild pace.
That earned him a raised brow and an ironic look from the blond. “I won’t, will I? Tell me, Tuesti, are you a betting man?”
“You won’t kill me because you still need me and my skills.” Reeve had learned to bluff with the best of them and he could only pray that Rufus didn’t scrutinize him too closely for fear he might see beneath the paper-thin veneer of his bluff and read just how privately terrified he was.
“It seems to me I could just refuse to let you leave and then you’ll have no choice but to provide those skills to me. I made no promises you'd be allowed to leave here.” Rufus countered lazily.
“You really want an architect with an axe to grind against you personally working on a building project for you? Isn’t having a building fall on your head once in a lifetime enough for you?” That was a spiteful, mean-spirited comment, and Reeve immediately felt guilty for uttering it, but Rufus’s attitude was getting under his skin.
Rufus flinched in a subtle, almost imperceptible manner, making the guilt even worse. He hated that the blond brat had managed to drag him down to his level of trading barbed comments.
“My apologies, that was uncalled for.”
“I’m not sure I like your new claws, Tuesti. But I’m willing to entertain this ridiculous idea of yours. What exactly do you think you can do with the support of Shinra at your back? You do realize you need money to fund your high-minded projects.”
“I’m aware,” Reeve said tightly but found himself hesitant to mention the donors and money-raising efforts they’d already gotten in order to help make Edge a little more livable.
“Fine, keep your secrets. You never answered me before. Are you a betting man, Reeve?”
He found himself gaping at the other man because honestly, had he never met Cait Sith? Dancing on the razor-edged blade of chance was half of Cait’s battle style. And where had the animatronic cat gotten that penchant for fortune telling and rolls of the dice but from his creator himself?
Reeve had projected a lot of his innermost self into the creation of Cait Sith. In many ways, the animatronic cat was the best parts of Reeve Tuesti. Or at least, the parts of himself he wished he could openly express and reveal to the world.
“Depends on the bet.” The older man finally stated cautiously.
A thin smile broke out on that flawless face as Rufus leaned forward ever so slightly.
“If you can last six months under your own power and prove you can pull these lofty plans off alone, I will fund your organization for an entire year. If you fail, you return to me and put this nonsense about leaving to bed once and for all.”
Reeve recognized the collar that was being offered plainly for what it was.
Anxiety curdled in his stomach at the thought of shackling himself to Shinra potentially for life.
But the chance….
The slim hope he might actually be able to do some good and hopefully wash some of the blood on his hands away. Even a lifetime of servitude to the likes of Rufus Shinra seemed like a worthy trade-off if he could actually bring some good into the world.
And the more pragmatic part of his mind pointed out what his alternative was. He could refuse, and then what? Have Rufus Shinra as an enemy? He joked about imprisoning him, but that was just the sort of page out of his father’s playbook that he might use.
Either that, or he might wind up dead, disappeared somewhere where his body would never be found.
Just another object lesson of what happened to those who thought to cross the SEPC.
“Fine, you have yourself a bet.” Reeve finally conceded and the brief flash of triumph that flickered across Rufus’s face was genuinely worrisome.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (PS5)
That's a spicy pickle
The general gameplay is vastly improved from Remake, which was already pretty good; it feels better, everyone moves more fluidly because the game is actually performant (steady 30 on Graphics Mode and a flawless 60 on Performance, which is the way to play), attacks are all generally better (Cloud now can shoot sword beams by attacking after dodging so you can reliably hit aerial foes, for example), and on and on. It's actually kind of insane going straight here from Remake (I never got around to Intermission) because you now have so many options it's unfathomable.
In addition to all of the mechanics from Remake and all the new moves, you now have Synergy Moves that confer special effects, co-op defensive manoeuvres to use when guarding, more unique materia attacks (Enemy Skill is here in a limited but highly optimised and supremely useful form), some of Remake's summons but also half a dozen new ones, tiered Limit Break moves reached by pulling off specific Synergy Moves, unlockable elemental magic attacks that cost no MP to give type coverage outside of spell materia...
They went fucking wild, to the point that outside of the remaining party members from VII to go, I've no idea what they could add in the next.
Cait Sith is the only party member who just feels bad to play as; trying to commit to his original gimmicky nature here is noble and they try, but he just kind of sucks to play as and feels like an active liability when set next to literally everyone else. One dud in such a spread of characters is a hell of a run.
Speaking of the party, Square have been on a roll with writing party interactions in Final Fantasies of late (XVI excepted), but VII Rebirth sets a new high bar. The ways the party interact, the tangible feeling that they are not just friends but actively influence each other and have actual relations, it's fucking immaculate; it's at times obsessive in the ways it does it, from Red XIII and Barrett saying things the same way because they get on so much to just how Tifa and Aerith have an actual full friendship on display now. Remake was already good for this but Rebirth amps everything up.
It is a deeply, unbelievably charming game; as with the silly elements of parts of Wall Market and Midgar that were retained and even amped up in Remake, Rebirth goes super hard into revelling and uplifting the sillier, funnier parts of the original VII as far as it can go. It leans into jokes, it tells many more of its own, it goes fucking hog wild with bits and parts like the big highlight events of the Gold Saucer feel absolutely decadent in what they do with it.
All I need to say about the soundtrack is that I need you to listen to the frog song. And the dog song. And the combat variant of the dog song. There's 400 tracks and while they might overuse the original FFVII overworld music as a leitmotif in overworld tracks, holy god this OST fucks.
To put it shortly, and to get in this dig at least one last time (there will be more in future), VII Rebirth does everything right that XVI did wrong, in every area. To the point that it's an indictment of Square, almost; there's not even a full year between these two! What are you doing, lads?
It's not without issues, some of them hefty enough; the decision to turn the original VII overworld into an open world ultimately hurts the game, I think. They did insanely good work at designing an actual world that actual people live in and clearly use and used, it's nuts in that respect, but also not all of that space is used well and some of the areas feel simply too big. This is further compounded by the zones becoming increasingly massive pains in the ass to actually just move around in, never mind go around doing all the open world optional shit in.
This hits a terrible fever pitch in the godawful 1-2 punch of Gongaga and Cosmo Canyon, the former a ridiculously over-layered zone that combines the visual illegibility of dense jungle with a map designed very deliberately to make you go cross-country and loop back just to get to basic objectives, having to root around unclimbable cliffs and paths of bounce-pad mushrooms to find the one single actual path to get to anything. It's deeply frustrating, it broke the spell and I abandoned doing the open world shit outside of summon crystals after that.
And that was then aggravated by Cosmo Canyon being the same thing, only it's all open air red-brown canyons with the single path to get to thing tucked into rock bumhole crevices barely discernable from other rock walls. Getting anywhere and finding anything becomes such a fucking hassle, starting around Corel in particular but Gongaga and Cosmo are just shite. Open world games have changed massively even in the four years between this and Remake; Elden Ring and Sonic Frontiers and Zelda: TOTK have all come out and changed the game and broken conventions in ways that make Rebirth feel sluggish and a generation out-of-date at times.
It doesn't help that chocobos feel really bad to use; they don't turn well, they stop dead at touching even minor obstacles, they don't scale things well and some of their traversal abilities are miserable (the gliding in Cosmo Canyon feels bad and doesn't make any sense, further frustrating exploration). Running everywhere is preferable...except for open plains, again, where you have the space.
The map doesn't help, by the by; it's an overhead/satellite view of the actual area, overhanging rock formations and obscured underground/cave/lower paths and all, making it absolutely useless for identifying paths or actually figuring out how to go anywhere that isn't an open plain. I hope Square finally gets over themselves after this and just makes a normal ass overworld next time; Star Ocean Second Story R was such a breath of fresh air between XVI and this.
I can go on; quite a few sections and some of the side content just feel like filler (the Nibel Protorelics being slow boring walks that end in basic standard fights is a highlight of "we needed this for the checklist"), the game has dozens of minigames, way more than VII ever did so naturally a good number of them are a bit shit or actively frustrating and should've been cut. Remake's biggest problem to me was how "Western 7th Gen" it was at times, with slow walk-and-talks or sidle-through level dividers and shit, and Rebirth not only still does that but goes further with pointless button presses, overly involved cutscene button-event shit (hold R2 and L2 forever for no reason; fuck you this could not possibly have been a cutscene), piss-takingly slow box pulling and pushing and so on. Some of it feels clearly like filler and I hope they get feedback from this one telling them to cut it out. Final Fantasy is better than that shite, or at least it should be; it absolutely should not ever be taking notes from Sony first-party games, except for "don't do [all of this]".
Still, on the whole, VII Rebirth is a great time. It's an absolutely massive, at times decadent action RPG that lavishes love upon its cast and world, that's hellbent on you getting your money's worth (it's still not worth £70 no game is or ever will be for non-special editions, but I got it for £29 due to trade-in credit so hey), and while it becomes a slog at points due to its open world shit, you can easily skip that and start to railroad the story after a point (or right away by kicking it down to Easy, I guess). I think Square have easily justified the "Final Fantasy VII remake trilogy" idea with this entry, so it'll be fun to see how they close it out, and what they do with themselves after this.
I have more to say, but it'll be in a reblog of this with some aggressive Read Mores to condense the size.

Hi Yano, Just want to say, that I like your last post about Waypoints. For me it‘s unbelievable why there are people who take every single word in this book seriously. And all the hate against Sam, for simply doing his job. I think the problem in general is not so much Sam, but the people who have a certain image of him, or an expectation of him. Be it good/bad, and then are disappointed when he doesn't serve that image, be it in terms of his person, be it in terms of how he portrays Jamie, or in terms of his relationship status. At the end of the day, he's just a human being with strengths, weaknesses and flaws like the rest of us. Some people seem to forget that or think of themselves as flawless.
For me, it's a bit like the movie "Groundhog Day." The reactions to Waypoints were exactly the same when Clanlands came out.
I always think that if only a fraction of those who criticize every statement of Sam, but also Cait, would write down for a year what they say and then look at it, they would notice that many of their own statements contradict each other in retrospect, have changed or they remember one of their statements completely wrong.

That weekend in NY promoting OL 5 was long and tiresome. There are many photos from that time and her face doesn't look like that. Tired yes but also flawless. She already commented when a fan asked what she uses. She will never do Botox or any artificial procedure. She does used high end facial rejuvenation and care treatments and stays makeup free when not working or attending events. She's got good genes. Her sisters and mom look great too.
Cait is that you? Lol. Come on. As if Cait doesn't lie. I think anyone who has been roaming planet earth these last 15 years known what a Botoxed forehead looks like. I've nothing against people getting Botox btw.

🖇 MY RAN HEADCANONS (finally)
hi, do you guys remember how like four days ago i said "oh i'll post some ran hcs tomorrow !!" and then i never did? well, i'm here now, so don't fucking judge me. please ♡
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
☆ Gives me Gemini, Sagittarius, and Scorpio vibes, their MBTI type is definitely INTP (I’m not reflecting on her but yes, I am).
☆ Uses she/them pronouns, with a preference for they/them pronouns. She’s demiromantic and is usually not bothered by their s/o’s gender, but is slightly more attracted to girls GNC people.
☆ FLAWS: lazy, sadistic, forgetful (when it’s a piece of information she doesn’t consider important, otherwise their memory is flawless), cynical, insensitive, reclusive.
☆ STRENGTHS: honest, trustworthy, patient, clever, adaptive, calm, sincere, witty, chill, funny.
☆ SKILLS/HOBBIES: ghost hunting with Dustin (name that a good part of the fandom gave the blond guy that is usually with her, the one that got that completely unnecessary beating from Silco after Cait and Vi escaped), swordplay, arts, dual spades, martial arts, parkour, people watching.
☆ I think her height’s around Vi’s height, or slightly taller (around 5’9/1.75m).
☆ I believe she has a unilateral hearing loss caused by a traumatic brain injury, which itself was probably caused by their fall in Act I. Call me blind or stupid but I highly believe that what they have on their left ear is not a piercing but a hearing aid.
- Talking about body modifications, she does have piercings anyways (which is actually canon), she has a lobe one on each ear. Other than the canon ones, I hc she has tongue and nipple piercings because I can and she’d look amazing with them.
- She likes cats and rats. She has a two-year-old cat named Bebe, and three rats that were named Silly Coco, Lockitty, and Vivika by Dustin.
☆ And on the subject of Dustin, as some other people I hc they are childhood friends, they’re almost inseparable to the point where they have to share an apartment/room at the Last Drop or they’ll start feeling anxious. Silco caught up on this pretty early and decided to let them indulge in their own habits since it makes them work better. I’m not saying they always need to be physically attached to the other, but it does make them feel safer.
☆ But being alone doesn’t affect her as much as it sometimes does to Dustin, actually, she enjoys it from time to time.
☆ Their love language is quality time, they also like physical affection but only when they’re the one initiating it.
☆ It's really not easy to get them mad, they’re an extremely calm person with great control of their own feelings and expressions.
☆ They don’t talk much either, not even when it comes to Dustin or the rest of Silco’s gang, they prefer to wait and observe. They believe that if they don’t have anything important to say, then they just won’t say anything at all. But sometimes a comment or two escapes their own self-control, and they’re effortlessly funny when it happens.
☆ Because of the “wait and observe” thing, she can remember extremely specific things about a lot of people. Maybe they won’t remember your birthday or the thing you were just telling them five seconds ago, but she’ll remember that time when you told her you preferred to be blind but have a really nice smile than to have no nose but have really good smelling fingers.
☆ I’m not reflecting on her (I am) but I believe she’s the type to be lowkey competitive but also pretty unmotivated at the same time. She just lets it go but still has the salty feeling when she doesn’t win/isn’t the best at what she’s doing.
☆ There’s something a Twitter user noticed (please send me their @ if you find it) and it was this:
Tumblr media
☆ The user mentioned how she possibly lost her arm in this way, I thought it was pretty interesting and I haven’t seen other people talking about it.
☆ Now to the more random stuff, their favorite colors are purple and black.
☆ Most of the time, they’re sleep-deprived and their sleep schedule is extremely disorganized because of both being part of Silco’s main team and having trouble with it in general. When they do sleep, they do so with a shit ton of pillows around them (this may or may not a few random plushies here and there)
☆ Powder taught them and Dustin how to read and write (since Vi taught her how to read growing up), she doesn’t care that much about writing or about making her calligraphy nice-looking, but once Jinx started reading bedtime stories and cautionary tales with them, they were hooked. They love to read in their free time, even when they can get easily bored. I feel like in our world, their favorite books would be 1984 (George Orwell), The Stranger (Albert Camus), Animal Farm (George Orwell), The Catcher in the Rye (J. D. Salinger), Grapes of Wrath (John Steinbeck) and Lord of the Flies (William Golding).
☆ These are totally not my own favorite books.
☆ I think she’d be very interested in human behavior, she enjoys psychoanalyzing people, making obscure comments about it to the person, and then not elaborating on them.
☆ She’s also into art, but she’s never put much thought into it. She does some sketches from time to time, even more now that Sevika gave her a small notebook after seeing them doodling on a wall while laying on the floor with Dustin one day, but she doesn’t really consider herself an artist.
☆ Now, about her relationship with Sevika, I’m so sure that at some point she had the “I’m not sure if I want to be you or date you” type of crush on Sevika. She probably was their first crush, even though nowadays she sees her more as an older sister figure.
☆ As both of them are usually busy because of Silco, they don’t hang out as much as both would like to; besides as I mentioned before, Ran enjoys being alone when she isn’t with Dustin. From time to time, when they’re both finally able and comfortable enough to hang out, they have a great time, just chilling and drinking. Sevika appreciates Ran because they seem like a breath of fresh air in the middle of all the chaos.
☆ Ran’s always wanted to go to Piltover’s museums, she's never told anyone about it though. And if she wasn’t part of Silco’s gang, she’d consider being a tattoo artist.
☆ My theory is that her family came from Ionia at least two or three generations before her, which is why she can speak basic Ionian. She doesn’t take much part in their culture since she was never taught much about it while growing up, but they do keep some trinkets here and there from their family.
Tumblr media
thank you guys for reading! feel free to dm me, comment or send an ask if you want to share your thoughts about this. also please give us more ran content ♡ ♡ ♡

What Instruments would the Companions play?
Fallout 4 --
Cait: Uilleann Pipes (or Elbow Bagpipes)
     - Okay, it's not just because it’s an Irish instrument (I mean, I'd be lying if I said that wasn't part of it), but also it's the way the unique pipes are played. The player is seated with the instrument strapped to their waist and dominant hand, using their opposite elbow to control the flow of air in the bag (rather than blowing into it like with normal bagpipes). It's a complicated instrument that requires an immense amount of physical control and discipline to play, which meshes well with Cait's physicality and athleticism. She's had the instrument as long as she can remember, finding it lying around in her childhood home. She managed to grab it before her parents sold her, and though it does sometimes remind her of them, all of the hours she spent learning to play it practically forces her to hold onto the instrument. She is wildly adept at playing it, and will sometimes do so in front of Sole, as long as they keep quiet about this ability of hers.
Curie: Violin
     - A delicate instrument that requires dexterity and control, Curie would love the challenges that playing the violin would present. She found the string instrument in the depths of the vault before she became a synth, but held onto it thinking one day she would find someone who could make it sound beautiful. When she made the change to her synth body, she was incredibly excited to finally be able to play it, and though it took a while, she managed to become quite skilled. As a medical professional, she already has incredible coordination, so not only does the violin provide a creative outlet for Curie, but also it allows her to practice her control, since she still is getting used to just having the two hands, and all of her fingers. Once well-practiced, she loves to play softly to recovering patients in her ward.
Danse: Baritone
     - When he first found the large horn, he didn’t really know what to think of it, he certainly didn’t consider playing it. However, once Sole explained it to him and told him how the instrument is played, he decided to pick it up one day when he was alone. He might have a hard time at first, since learning to play a new instrument can be especially frustrating for someone as hard on themselves as Danse is, but once he gets the hang of it, he's a big fan of the rich, loud sound it creates. He still rarely plays in front of anyone else (Sole and Haylen being the only exceptions), but he likes to practice in the little amount of downtime that he does have. Plus he enjoys caring for it by constantly cleaning and polishing the different pieces of the larger brass instrument.
Deacon: Kazoo
     - It started out as a joke, he found a little metal kazoo, discovered the manner in which to play it, and decided to have a field day with Carrington back at HQ. Later though, after practicing a number of the most obnoxious songs he could find, he found he was quite good at it and quickly he grew fond of the plucky little instrument. Now he carries it around with him almost everywhere, telling everyone that he plays it ironically, but deep down he knows that he truly enjoys it.
Hancock: Saxophone
     - Hancock has quite the reputation of being good with his lips and hands, and his adept ability to play the saxophone would only support this. He's had a lot of time to perfect his playing and will sometimes go up on stage with Magnolia to the delight of nearly everyone in Goodneighbor. He loves the instrument's smooth, jazzy sound and always revels in showing off his skills with a good solo.
MacCready: Harmonica
     - An easy instrument to carry with you on the road, MacCready picked it up in his travels and messed with it whenever he knew the sound wouldn't endanger him. After a couple years, he became quite skilled with the wind instrument and would play it both for Lucy and Duncan as often as he could. He always keeps it with him, almost as a crutch at this point, even if he can't find the right place to play it, just having it with him reminds him of his travels with his son and his late wife.
Nick: Piano
     - Always the classic gentleman type, it's no surprise that the old detective knows how to manipulate piano keys in such a way that he seems to transport you back in time to a dark and hazy pre-war bar. The old Nick is where the original skill came from, but the synth's fingers are much more nimble than the human Nick's were. He enjoys playing whenever he can find a piano; however, be warned, if it isn't tuned, you can bet your ass he'll do his best to rectify that, which could take a couple hours at best, and a few days at worst.
Piper: Tambourine
     - The percussion instrument was a gift from her father, so she's held onto it since she was young and always takes extra care in looking after her tambourine (she considers it the most important item she owns, after her printing press of course.) Besides the fact it was a gift from a loved one, she likes the instrument because of its simplicity and the way she can easily come up with and control her own rhythm. She fondly remembers many an evening prattling away at the tambourine while her and Nat danced the night away in a rare moment of true childish fun. Sometimes Nat will pick up the instrument while Piper is busy at the typewriter and try to create a beat to her sister's typing.
Preston: Banjo
     - Does this one need an explanation? Preston just gives me mad banjo vibes. Imagine the joy he feels sitting around a campfire, striking up a tune that everyone knows, encouraging all the people around him to join in on the song. He tells himself that he does it for the benefit of those around him, to distract them from their troubles and the cruelty of the wasteland, but the truth is, he does it just as much to distract himself. It makes him happy to see others happy around him, and if the banjo provides a way to do that, then Preston will do his best to stay practiced in as many feel-good songs as he can.
X6-88: Upright/Double Bass
     - This instrument is an absolute beast, coming in at about 6 feet tall and weighing about 45 lbs, but X6 would welcome the challenge of playing such an instrument; his own height and the large size of his hands providing a distinct advantage in learning how to play the bass properly. Not being of the faint of heart, X6 practices until his playing ability is nearly flawless, reveling in the deep, rich sound that emanates from his intimidating instrument. He prefers to read music and follow chord structure rather than improvise when he is playing, and he works to try and perfect every technique that he can, ranging from using a bow (arco), to striking with his fingers (pizzicato), to slapping the strings against the fingerboard.
Fallout 3 --
Butch: Clarinet
     - The poor 14 year-old was horrified when he was handed the old reed instrument when inducted into the vault 101 school band. But as Butch grew older, and his playing abilities increased, he realized he could make some pretty cool sounds with this thing. Jazz was always one of his favourite genres of music, and the clarinet allowed him to play along to many of his favourite songs. He doesn't bring the instrument with him while traveling, but he will play it when at home and sometimes will be bold enough to play for audiences at bars.
Charon: Bass Guitar
     - He had never touched a bass before coming across one while traveling with Lone, but as soon as he picked it up, he found he had an affinity for it. Charon was patient with himself as he learned how to play, his scarred fingers both a blessing and a curse. Though it was sometimes difficult to get the chords right, he didn't have to worry about bloody fingers from long hours practicing plucking the rough strings. He comes up with a few bass lines on his own, then tries replicating songs that he hears. Charon actually really enjoys the creative outlet, and it's the perfect activity to focus on when Lone is gone.
Clover: Flute
     - Clover treasures her flute, as the instrument was a gift from Eulogy that only reinforces the idea that she's his favourite. After all, he never gave Crimson a flute, or any other instrument for that matter. She finds it difficult at first, as she works to master her finger position and airflow, and occasionally she gets frustrated to the point of being completely unable to play; but once she gets the basics down, Clover uses the little woodwind instrument as a way to distract herself from her jealousy and tends to play it as aggressively as one can play a flute when Eulogy insists on spending time alone with Crimson. Otherwise, she will sometimes play it with Eulogy as her only audience member, but her favourite is when she can sit on her own and play the flute for herself, it makes her happy and it let's her see how far she's come since she was first gifted the instrument. When she begins traveling with Lone, she holds onto the flute and continues to play it for her own benefit, and of course, she wouldn’t be opposed to playing for Lone, if they were to ask...
Cross: Trumpet
     - She discovered the small brass instrument in her travels to pre-war military locations, and was interested in the history of the horn in regards to the old U.S. military. When she first picked it up, she wasn't a huge fan of the brash noise that comes from it, but as she grew more adept at playing it, she found she liked the sound. Cross takes inspiration from the bugle music that was played before the war, and replicates it for the members of the brotherhood of steel.
Fawkes: Bongos
     - He's been a fan of percussion ever since he was locked in isolation in the vault. Throughout his time there, he would often find different surfaces to drum his hands on to pass the time. Lone began noticing this little habit of his, and when they surprised him with a pair of bongo drums, Fawkes was elated. He plays them as often as he can, but usually waits until they are at home, after all, he couldn't risk losing or damaging them out in the wastes. But it's his favorite way to relax and unwind after Lone and him return from the hostile wasteland to the security of their home. He did once bring them to Underworld to play for the residents there, but he was anxious about harming the instrument the whole way there and the whole way home.
Jericho: Maracas
     - Jericho wouldn't have the patience to sit down and learn a complex musical instrument, so maracas are a good fit for him. He found a single one when he and Lone were traveling and didn't think much of it, but thought it was interesting enough to hold onto. Once Lone explained what they believed it was, Jericho began to experiment with the instrument when he was alone (he couldn't risk Lone seeing him acting like such an idiot, with this glorified baby rattle.) But once he discovered another one, he decided he liked the sound of them together. Even though the maracas are all mismatched, he keeps any that he can find and tries them all paired with one another. He still tries to keep it on the down low, but every once in a while he'll know that Lone is listening in, he'll utter some rude comment, but continue playing as though Lone weren't there.
Fallout New Vegas --
Arcade: Ukulele
     - Arcade doesn't know how it happened, how he found the little guitar-like instrument, honestly, it was left in his tent at the fort, and he doesn't know where it came from. For the longest time, he just left it where it sat near his bed, unsure what to do with it, but after a couple weeks passed, he felt like he had to do something with it. So he started to pluck at the nylon strings, and he couldn't keep from uttering a small yelp of surprise at the sweet sound of the instrument. He doesn't play often, and he still needs to practice, but when he's alone, Arcade loves to strum the strings and come up with little tunes that end up getting way too stuck in his head.
Boone: Cajón
     - The little, wooden, box-shaped drum is a practical instrument that isn't complicated to play and is easy to transport, making it a nice fit for the 1st recon sniper. Boone has had restless hands for as long as he can remember, and the problem has only gotten worse since the incident at bitter springs, so originally, when he found the cajón and brought it back to his room at the NCR barracks, he would tap at the different sides just as a little habit. However, when he discovered the way each side differed in pitch, he found he could manipulate the tapping of his hands in such a way to create some interesting beats. He brought it with him when he left the NCR and keeps it at his place in Novac to play with whenever he's there. Now it's not only an entertaining pastime, but it's ended up being very therapeutic for him.
Cass: Acoustic Guitar
     - As a caravaner, you tend to pick up some of the habits of other caravan members that you meet in your travels. Originally, Cass found the guitar and made the decision to sell it, but that was before the guard of another caravan sat himself down by the fire one night, grabbing the instrument from beside Cass's pack, and began to play. When he first picked up the guitar, Cass was ready to deck him for touching one of her wares, but after hearing him play it, she couldn't help but ask him to teach her. She tends to bring the instrument with her when she can, but usually she'll keep it in a safe place so she can practice in her down time.
Raul: Flamenco/Spanish Guitar
     - Raul's nimble fingers are good for more than just making repairs, despite their ghoulified appearance, they still possess the muscle memory of when he learned to play the Flamenco guitar before the bombs fell. His family down in Mexico really appreciated the importance of music, and Raul still believes that it helped him get through some of the toughest times after the bombs fell. He makes it a priority to find guitar strings for when his end up breaking, and he tries to keep his original guitar in pristine condition. He doesn't play too often, but when he does, Six can hardly believe the skill in which he plucks the strings of the pre-war instrument.
Veronica: Drums
     - Every time Veronica was sent out on recon, she would keep her eyes peeled for another drum or symbol to add to the developing set she had hidden away at Helios One. It started with a simple snare, then a symbol she had found, and when she discovered a bass drum, she hid it outside the building before she was assigned guard duty, and she snuck the large drum down to her set. She loves the outlet that playing the drums provides, and though she sometimes worries someone will hear her, the risk is worth the thrill of going all out when she takes a seat in front of her drum set. After the events at Helios One that eventually led to her leaving the brotherhood facility, she makes plans to one day return to retrieve the instrument she left hidden away.

Arcane Act 3
I’M FUCKING SEETHING WITH RAGE ON HOW THE;Y JUST FUCKING EDGED US ALL LIKE THAT. FUCK YOU RIOT GOT DAMMIT.
On one hand I really want to acknowledge what a literal bombshell of a cliffhanger that was but mother fucker.... that wasn’t as satisfying as it was aggravating.
I’m fucking bawling about Jinx AGAIN which I didn’t think i’d do and that last episode, this last arc, was pretty fucking good i’m not going to lie. Jesus fucking christ thought I just can’t get over that bs. That’s not an ending. Fuck
We see Vanderwick which is awesome, jayce and viktor both have blood on their hands but what in the actual fuck is going to happen? The story is about Jinx. Her rise to her new and deranged self and her journey is fucking flawless. Best character in the show. Tier two goes to Vi/Cait. Then we get Jayce/Vik and god dammit their arcs were honestly just starting to get interesting.
Now I’m going to have to wait so long to get relief. Fuck me and fuck this.

Note
You give me ALL the Caitonlys vibe, LOL! and if there's something I hate much more than Sam's mummies is precisely a Caitonly cause you are way much intense group, and thinks she's a flawless goddess which can't do wrong and Sam's a retarded dumb blonde, such a talentless garbage not worthy of her HRH Caitriona. I'm here for both of them but pretty aware they're human beings with flaws and weakness if so Cait has done way more questionable things than Sam. He's the puppet... she's the puppeteer.
And you give me the feeling that you
a) are a person who takes out his own dissatisfaction with a situation you can't change on others and
b) who does not use his mind to read something correctly! Otherwise, you would have noticed that I am anything but a Caitonly, but only judge a situation neutrally and considering all aspects!
c) you may be all sorts of things, but certainly not a supporter of either.

Physique HCs
Cait: Slender, but muscular. A body that’s best at swiftly charging in and knocking someone’s teeth out. Freckles everywhere, but most visible on her arms, back, and nose. Broad back and shoulders, both toned. Thin, bony fingers with chewed-to-hell nails. Knuckles scarred and nearly disfigured, suffers pain in fingers. Scars everywhere, with varying shapes, causes, and fadedness. Taller than most women at 5 10″. Can’t grow body hair under Psycho, often cold. When clean, basically an Irish Sasquatch.
Codsworth: Upkeeps himself, has little rust or noticeable degrading. Dents, scratches, and discoloring are still visible. Has cracks in one of his ‘eyes’. Makes an odd sound during Radstorms. Joints have loosened despite his attempts at fixing them, meaning all movement is announced by squeaks, groans, and grinding.
Curie: Soft and round, made of circles and marshmallow fluff. No freckles, but has moles along her back. Body hair seems to only grow on her face. Has scars from the original synth that fascinate her. Her first scar was a ripper to the collarbone. Average height at 5 5″. Pear-shaped, friend-shaped. Hair does not move. Ever. Her nails are immune to dirt, but are always chipped and damaged from extensive lab work. Often has dried blood on her from medical work.
Danse: Literal bear. Thick body hair everywhere. Very well toned, but with a bit of a gut. Dad bod, self-conscious about it. Broad, takes up a lot of space. Stands at 6 4″. The most scarred place on his body is his hands and arms from engineering accidents. Has a burn scar on left wrist from a blowtorch slipping from his hand. Very pronounced hands and knuckles. Has been told he has ‘pretty veins’ and isn’t sure what it means. His beard took months to grow and if someone shaved it, would either cry or murder them. Serious case of babyface without it.
Deacon: Average height at 5 7″. Very slight gut. Only toned in his arms and legs, torso is untoned. Right shoulder is always bruised from sniper rifles. Grows body hair normally, but shaves, plucks, and waxes so religiously he feels as smooth as a dolphin. Kinda skinny/lean, but not so much as to be a stick. Skin is leathery from surgery, all scars have been removed. Covered in freckles, uses makeup to cover them. The smallest hips in the world, butt is concave.
Hancock: Stands at 5 3" and proud of it. Wiry frame, broad shoulders. Triangle torso. Scars are almost completely undetectable. Still has some body hair, but can't grow it anymore. The hair that remains is...not in good condition. Skin is paler than most ghouls. Bruises easily, bleeds easily.
MacCready: Skinny twerp. Arms are toned from carrying rifles, nothing else is. Slight pudge in the stomach. Thin body hair on his arms and legs. Minimal scarring, but the marks he has are large and deep. Bruises easily. Noticeable veins, very bony everything. Long lashes. Skin is smooth and soft despite everything. Hands are calloused to hell, though. Prone to sunburn. High metabolism, cannot put on weight. 5 4"
Nick: 'Skin' feels like the leather of a worn couch. Eyes can't emote, mouth can. Stands at 5 10". Isn't all that heavy. Wears the coat so no one sees the sparking and flickering from damages wires and machinery barely keeping him up.
Piper: 5 6", naturally heavyset frame, but her active life style has left her slimmer than others in her family. Large bust, nice thighs and hips. Very few freckles on her cheeks, visible under certain lighting. Has a few skin tags. Scars on her back from assassination attempts. Plenty of bullet scars in her torso, one on her neck. Body hair focused solely on her armpits. Dry skin and lips, sometimes bleeds from it cracking. Pudge to her stomach, very curvy. Has a tattoo on her butt she doesn't know about. Keeps her nails as flawless as she can.
Preston: Stands at 5 9". Biggest scars are on his face, chest, and arms. Has a mole on his right thumb. Body hair almost entirely on his legs and hands. Cannot grow a beard for the life of him. Muscular from years of hard work. 6-pack. Hair and nails have dirt in them at all times from trying to tame a temperamental Mutfruit tree. Scabs on fingers from chewing nails. Has a skin tag on his eye that drives him crazy. The worst tan lines known to man.
X6: Smooth as silk. 6 1". Entirely lean muscle, built like a panther. No blemishes besides scars. Has a burn scars from a Gatling Laser, a gash from a ripper, and a section of mottled skin from a Mutant Suicider going off near him. Body can be mapped out using nothing but squares and diamonds. Everything is sharp and pronounced. Very cracky bones, needs to pop his joints all the time. Doesnt sweat easily, but when he does, looks like he just went swimming. Nails are kept orderly. Once considered growing a beard - saw the scruff and hated it. Pronounced veins and Adam's Apple.
