Spirituality of the Sikh Scriptures of India (Adi Granth, Gurbani, Guru Granth, Satgurus) - Spiritual Awakening Radio Podcast
Tumblr media
Essential Key Teachings According to the Satgurus in the Sikh Scriptures, the Guru Granth
1) Living Masters Having Living Disciples - The Need For The Living Satguru and For Initiation Into the Meditation Practice
"There can be no jnana (true knowledge) without meeting a Master-soul, nor meditation without a first-hand experience." (Guru Arjan Dev, Bhairon M5)
“Meet a Satguru and take his initiation. Surrender thine all and peep within.” (Guru Nanak, Gauri M1)
"Prays Nanak, But for Society of the Saints, the whole world is false." (Gopal Singh translation)
"In the Guru-given Gnosis is contained the wealth of the Lord’s Name, and the Lord’s Name, the Guru imprints in the man’s mind." (Manmohan Singh translation)
“In utter darkness, the Master’s Word (Guru-Mantra) shines forth into Light. In the company of the Master, all are rescued and saved.” (Guru Arjan Dev, Gond M5)
“The Master has given me the perfect Word or Mantra.” (Guru Arjan Dev, Bhairon M5)
2) Surat Shabd Yoga, in Meditation Hearing the Unstruck Melody of the Sound Current (Anhad Shabd, Naam, Nada According to the Sikh Scriptures)
Living Masters have always initiated their disciples into meditation practice (Naam Dhan), and this includes the practice of hearing the Anhad Shabd (Unstruck Celestial Melody) within one’s self during meditation practice. "The Unstruck Melody that one seeks to hear, hear it thou in the instruction of the Guru's." (Sri Rag M. 1)
"Within me rings the Unstruck Melody of the Lord’s flute, yea, He in whose presence one's mind is attuned to the Sound of the Inner Music." (Sri Rag, Kabir)
"At the (tenth) door rings the Unstruck Melody. The Lord echoes thus in every heart." (Vadhans M. 5)
3) Non-Violence (Ahimsa) in Thought, Word, and Deeds Including Following a Non-violent Vegetarian Diet in the Adi Granth and Other Texts
Shri Guru Nanak Dev abstained from animal food and enjoined against cruelty to animals: "Having prohibited his disciples to drink wine and eat pork, he (Nanak) himself abstained from eating flesh and ordered not to hurt any living being." (Mohsin Fani, Persian Scholar of Comparative Religion, Author of the, DABISTAN-E-MAZAHIB)
"Kabeer says, the dinner of beans and rice is excellent when flavored with salt. Who would cut throats to have meat with his bread?" (Guru Granth Sahib Ji, 1374)
"One who does not steal, commit adultery, slander anyone, gamble, eat meat or drink wine will be liberated in this very life (i.e. Jeewan Mukt)". (Guru Gobind Singh, 10th Sikh Guru, Sudharam Marag Granth)
"Living by neglect and greed, the world eats dead carcasses. Like a goblin or a beast, they kill and eat the forbidden carcasses of meat. Control your urges, or else you will be thrown into the tortures of hell." (Guru Arjan Dev, Guru Granth Sahib Ji, 723).
Bhai Gurdaas Ji said: "They eat meat by cutting throats, what will their own condition be?" (Vaar 24, Pauree 17)
“To take what rightfully belongs to another, is like a Muslim eating pork, or a Hindu eating beef. Our Guru, our Spiritual Guide, stands by us if we do not eat those carcasses. By mere talk, people do not earn Liberation. Salvation only comes from the practice of truth." (Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Guru Granth Sahib Ji, 141)

How did people of Judah, Princes and Khatri, Kings, and Emperors of Dark... How did the people of Judah, Princes and the Khatri, Kings, and Emperors of Darkness fleece and kill the Devotees? https://youtu.be/-p9VB4cvtqE Holy Gospel of our SUPERNATURAL FATHER of our supernatural “souls” Elohim, Allah, ParBrahm, etc., delivered by Christ Rajinder:- Chaudhry Ranjit Sainsi Jatt, Maharajah of Punjab ruled for 40 years rewarded by Sachae Patshah Gobind Singh Ji against the 40 Mukttae. He did stupid things as expected of the Jatts. Gilded Harmandir Sahib to loot devotees put landed properties against the Gurdwaras that created greedy Mahant and they killed mostly Jatt devotees, etc. “AMRITSARIYAE ANDAR SARRIYE” was the curse the last Christ =Satguru Tegh Bahadur Ji predicted. The greedy Khatris locked the Door of Harmandir Sahib knowing very well that He is the Owner of the Harmandir Sahib. The addition of “Singh”, the surname of the Khalsas in our names was added by the greedy Khatris to collect Tithe on a large scale. This is called "PUTT JAMAN KHATRANIAN KOEE KOEE BAHMINIAN. Sants of the Fourth Panth = Millatt are “Dass” and the Khalsas of the Third Panth are of the “Singh” surnames, Gotras. And Nanak was the Second Coming of Jesus, the “Christ = Satguru” and not a Brahmin “Guru”. The greedy Khatris have messed up the devotees so much that they do not know the First and the Second Panths. http://www.gnosticgospel.co.uk/tenlights.htm When Satgurus and Sachae Patshahs were alive, then the Khatris were their staunch enemies; Chandu Sodhi Khatri, Lala Madho Dass Sodhi Khatri, who managed to get Sachae Patshah Gobind Singh Ji killed so that he could become his successor Sachae Patshah, a Munnmukh Khalsa whereas the 40 were BaeMukh Khalsas and they earned their Forgiveness by laying down their lives under Shakti Devi Mai Bhago. She was not baptised into the third Khalsa Panth because she was not a man or the son of Shiv. "DAEH SHIVA VAR MOOHAE ......". BANDAE DAE PUTTRO AAO; SHAITAN DAE PUTRAN NAAL LARRIYAE. People of the Judah tribe were the Princesses of Darkness and they dominated the Jerusalem Temple. After the death of Jesus, the First Anointed Satguru = Christ of God Elohim, Allah, Parbrahm, etc. the sacked Temple, the Winepress that coined the moral laws Priests, the Husbandmen, who was fit for no other job than the ruling Priests, they entered the Churches of God by jumping over the Wall like a “Thief” Juda Iscariot kicked out of the 12 and they brought in the old Temple Practices reading the written Torah, the rotten Old Testament full of holes, corruptions – Gen 17 is full of corruptions, and created Presbyters, Pope, etc. to kill more people than the Temple Priests had killed fulfilling Matt 12v43-45 and made the situation worse than before the arrival of Jesus. The same thing was done by the people of the Khatri tribe. They were the Kings and Emperors of Darkness who became Mullahs, Sheikhs, etc., and became the staunch enemies of 6 Satgurus and 4 Sachae Patshahs. After their deaths, they created False Beerrs, ATT KHAARI BERRAN forbidden by Satguru Arjan Dev Ji that spiritually blind people will read them and corrupted the Original Dhur Ki Baani that Satguru Arjan Dev Ji got written by Bhai Gurdass in which every Bhagat and Satguru Himself spoke the words and not Satguru Arjan Dev Ji himself. That made the BEERR Original from God Elohim, Allah, Parbrahm, etc., the “SATTPURAKH”; SATTPURAKH JINN JANAEYA; SATGURU = CHRIST TISS KAA NAO”. Read a Book by Prof. Jodh Singh “KARTARPURI BEERR DAE DARSHAN” – OVER 200 PAGES HAVE BEEN WHITE-WASHED – available from Patiala University Press. The End time of the Atomic War is not far away. Wake up and Preach the Gospel Truth taught by God within you and earn your Salvation by Preaching the Gospel called DRINKING THE “BLOOD” OF CHRISTS = SATGURUS WITHIN YOUR OWN HEART, THE INNERMAN = CHRIST = SATGURU”. The Christians of the Bible or the Sikhs of the ATT KHARI Scripture Aad Granth cannot know God because they were not Taught by God within them called “Intuition by the Innerman Christ” but they learned the dead letters from the spiritually blind men in the Universities and Colleges, who bury their dead in Seminars based upon corrupted Scriptures, the Bible and the Aad Granth. Poetic Translation As designed by the Guru Accomplished, On Lord Divine, I meditated. The Master being in favor, The Preceptor vindicated my honor. (1) It is ever peace at the Lord's feet. Whatever one wishes one gets, Nothing does He unheed (1) Refrain He whom the Provider takes kindly, The devotee lauds the Lord. His mind is given to loving devotion, He endears the Supreme God. (2) He meditates on the Master day and night Saved from the treacherous potion, The Creator takes him in His care, He finds himself in the company of men of devotion. (3) He stretched His arm, provided fully, and brought about the union. Says Nanak, all the objectives accomplished I find myself with the Lord Perfect in communion. (4) 15.79 Download Hukamnama PDF Download PDF Hukamnama Explanation in English Sorath Mahala - 5 ( Satgur Poore Bhana, Ta Jappia Naam Ramaana ) O, Brother! The True Master has protected our honor by bestowing His Grace on us. We started reciting Lord's True Name when the Perfect Guru appreciated our actions and blessed us with His Grace. The Lord pervades on all sides equally and is perceived everywhere as omnipresent. ( 1) O, friend! We are trying to acquire the touch of the lotus feet of the Lord which brings solace to our agitated minds. In fact, man attains whatever he had wished for by getting in touch with the Lord and getting his desires fulfilled and the hopes or desires never remain unfulfilled or go to waste. (Pause-1) The holy saints, sing the praises of the Lord, who are blessed with the Grace of the Lord, who controls our lives and finally showers His benign Mercy on us. They are enamored with the glimpse of the Lord, as they have always been imbued with the love of the Lord and are engaged in the devotion of the Lord. (2) Now we sing the praises of the Lord all the twenty-four hours so that the (poisonous) wild growth of worldly falsehood which had caught hold of our mind and attention has been shed away. Now the True Master has enabled us to merge with Him and as a result all the holy saints, who have controlled their minds, have become our friends and comrades in the world. (3) O, Nanak: I Now the Lord has given us the right lead by catching hold of our hands, blessed us with worldly possessions, and united us with Himself. The Initiation Of Khalsa
Guru Nanak Dev Ji founded the Sikh religion in Northern India in the fifteenth century, and it is the world's fifth-largest religion, with 25 million adherents worldwide. The religion believes in a single God, equality, religious freedom, and community service. Sikhs adhere to three basic principles: meditating on God's name (praying), earning a living through honest means, and sharing the fruits of one's labor with others. Sikhism opposes caste and class systems and places a premium on humanitarian service. The universality of the Sikh way of life reaches out to people of all faiths and cultural backgrounds, encouraging us to look beyond our differences and work together for global peace and harmony.
The Initiation Of Khalsa
Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth and last living Sikh Guru, summoned his followers to the Punjab town of Anandpur in 1699; over 80,000 people attended. Guru Gobind Singh, according to legend, appeared before his people, brandished a naked sword, and demanded a head. He called again and again until five Sikhs volunteered. He called the volunteers the Panj Pyare and the first Khalsa in the Sikh tradition. These five volunteers were : Daya Ram (Bhai Daya Singh), Dharam Das (Bhai Dharam Singh), Himmat Rai (Bhai Himmat Singh), Mohkam Chand (Bhai Mohkam Singh), and Sahib Chand (Bhai Sahib Singh)
Guru Gobind Singh then mixed water and sugar into an iron bowl, stirring it with a double-edged sword while reciting gurbani to prepare what he called Amrit ("nectar"). He then administered this to the Panj Pyare, accompanied with recitations from the Adi Granth, thus founding the khanda ki pahul (baptism ceremony) of a Khalsa – a warrior community. After the first five Khalsa had been baptized, the Guru asked the five to baptize him as a Khalsa. This made the Guru the sixth Khalsa, and his name changed from Guru Gobind Rai to Guru Gobind Singh. On that day, he gave the Sikhs a distinct identity, including five articles of faith that he introduced for a variety of reasons:
1. Adopting these common symbols would allow Khalsa members to be identified.
2. Because all Khalsa members wear the 5 Ks, the community is more strongly linked together.
3. Each K is significant in its own way.
The Meaning Of Five Ks
The 5 Ks are taken together to symbolize that the Sikh who wears them has dedicated themselves to a life of devotion and submission to the Guru. The 5 Ks are 5 physical symbols worn by Sikhs who have been initiated into the Khalsa. They are: Kesh (Uncut hair) Kara (Iron bracelet) Kanga (a wooden comb) Kachera (cotton underwear) Kirpan (steel sword)
1. Kesh (Uncut Hair)
It is a prominent symbol of Sikh identity. Uncut hair represents the adoption of a simple life and the rejection of pride in one's appearance. Throughout Sikhism's history, hair (kesh) has been regarded as a symbol of both holiness and strength. Long hair is considered proof of a devout Sikh's devotion and a sign of a Sikh's commitment and devotion to his/her Guru.
2. Kara (Iron Bracelet)
SKara represents unbreakable attachment and devotion to God. It serves as a constant reminder of the Sikh's mission on this planet, and that he or she must carry out righteous and true deeds and actions in accordance with the Guru's advice. The round shape of the Kara represents God, who has no beginning and no end.....

How did the Sikh religion come to birth? Who were the 10 Gurus ?
The Sikh religion, also known as Sikhism, was founded in the late 15th century in the Indian subcontinent by Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the first of the ten Sikh Gurus. Sikhism emerged as a distinct religious and spiritual movement that sought to bridge the gap between Hinduism and Islam, emphasizing the oneness of God and the equality of all human beings.
The birth of Sikhism can be traced back to the life and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji (1469-1539). He was born in the village of Talwandi, which is now known as Nankana Sahib in present-day Pakistan. Guru Nanak belonged to a Hindu family, but from a young age, he showed a profound interest in spirituality and a questioning mind. He embarked on numerous spiritual journeys, engaging in deep contemplation and seeking spiritual truths.
The pivotal moment that marked the beginning of Sikhism occurred when Guru Nanak had a spiritual experience during one of his meditations. He emerged from this experience with a profound realization of the divine unity that underlies all existence. He proclaimed, "There is no Hindu, there is no Muslim," emphasizing the universal nature of spirituality and the oneness of God.
Guru Nanak's teachings revolved around the concept of one God (Ik Onkar) and the rejection of rituals, caste system, and religious divisions. He advocated the importance of selfless service, equality, compassion, and the pursuit of an honest and meaningful way of life.
Throughout his life, Guru Nanak traveled extensively, spreading his teachings and gathering disciples who were inspired by his message. His followers came to be known as Sikhs, a term derived from the Sanskrit word "shishya," meaning disciple or student.
After Guru Nanak, the mantle of leadership passed to nine more Gurus, each contributing to the development and consolidation of Sikhism. The Guru Granth Sahib, the holy scripture of the Sikhs, includes the writings of Guru Nanak and the subsequent Gurus, along with compositions of saints from different religious backgrounds.
Sikhism was established and developed by ten Gurus during the period 1469 to 1708. Sikhs regard the ten Gurus not as divine, but as enlightened teachers through whom God revealed his will. Each Guru appointed his successor. Guru Nanak Dev was the first Guru and Guru Gobind Singh the final Guru in human form. Guru Gobind Singh designated the Sri Guru Granth Sahib the ultimate and final Sikh Guru. The ten Gurus are:
Guru Nanak Dev (1469-1539). The founder of Sikhism (see above).
Guru Angad Dev (1504-52). Developed Gurmukhi, the script used for the Punjab language and composed 62 hymns that were later included in the Guru Granth Sahib.
Guru Amar Das (1479-1574). Became Guru at the age of 73. Organized three annual gatherings for Sikhs, set up the first pilgrimage site at Goindval Sahib and introduced Sikh rituals for birth and death. His most famous hymn, Anand Sahib, is part of Sikh daily ritual.
Guru Ram Das (1534-1581). Founded Amritsar, the holy city of Sikhism. His followers dug the pool that became the holy lake surrounding the Golden Temple. Composed the Lavan marriage hymn, still used in Sikh marriages.
Guru Arjan Dev (1563-1606). Collected the hymns of previous Gurus and added 2616 of his own to form the Guru Granth Sahib, the holy book of Sikhism. He also built the Golden Temple. Sikhism was well established by the time of Guru Arjan Dev Guru Arjan completed the establishment of Amritsar as the capital of the Sikh world, and compiled the first authorised book of Sikh scripture, the Adi Granth. However, during Arjan's time Sikhism was seen as a threat by the state and Guru Arjan was eventually executed for his faith in 1606.
Guru Hargobind (1595-1644). The son of Guru Arjan. Proclaimed that the Guru is a military leader as well as spiritual leader, leading to conflict with the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan.
Guru Har Rai (1630-1661). Grandson of Guru Hargobind.
Guru Har Krishan (1656-1664). Younger son of Guru Har Rai. Became guru at the age of 5 and died of smallpox at the age of 8. He is the only Guru depicted in art without a beard.
Guru Tegh Bahadur (1621-75). Great-uncle of Guru Har Krishan. Was barred from Amritsar by Sikh rivals, so founded the Sikh center of Anandpur. Was beheaded in Delhi by Muslims for helping Brahmins avoid forcible conversion to Islam. who used force to make his subjects accept Islam.Aurangzeb had the ninth Guru Tegh Bahadur arrested and executed in 1675.
Guru Gobind Singh (1666-1708). Son of Guru Tegh Bahadur. Second only to Guru Nanak in importance, he is often shown prominently next to Nanak in Sikh art. Resisted oppression by Mughgal and Hindu authorities, exemplifying the Sikh ideal of the heroic saint-soldier. Founded the Khalsa and Sikh baptism, composed many poems, and nominated the Sikh sacred text as the final and enduring Guru.
The tenth and final Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji, bestowed the status of the eternal Guru upon the Guru Granth Sahib before passing away. From that moment on, Sikhs consider the Guru Granth Sahib as their eternal and spiritual guide. Sikhism has since grown into a significant religion with a rich cultural and historical heritage, centered around the teachings of its Gurus and the principles of equality, service, and devotion to the divine.
After the Gurus
The first military leader of the Sikhs to follow the Gurus was Banda Singh Bahadur.
He led a successful campaign against the Moghals until he was captured and executed in 1716.
In the middle of the century the Sikhs rose up again, and over the next 50 years took over more and more territory.
In 1799 Ranjit Singh captured Lahore, and in 1801 established the Punjab as an independent state, with himself as Maharaja.
He proved an adept ruler of a state in which Sikhs were still in a minority.
Although a devout Sikh, he took part in religious acts Muslims and Hindus too
Defeated by the British
After Ranjit Singh died in 1839 the Sikh state crumbled, damaged by vicious internal battles for the leadership.
In 1845-6 troops of the British Empire defeated the Sikh armies, and took over much Sikh territory.
The Sikhs rebelled again in 1849, and were defeated by the British, this time conclusively.
The Sikhs and the British Raj
After this final battle, the Sikhs and the British discovered they had much in common and built a good relationship. The tradition began of Sikhs serving with great distinction in the British Army.
The Sikhs got on well with the British partly because they came to think of themselves less as subjects of the Raj than as partners of the British.
The British helped themselves get a favourable religious spin when they took control of the Sikh religious establishment by putting their own choices in control of the Gurdwaras.
Good relations between Sikhs and British came to an end in 1919 with the Amritsar massacre.

The history of the Sikh is a rich palette of spiritual evolution, brave warriors and unshakable principles that have left an indelible mark on the world. The roots of Sikhism date back to the 15th century in the South Asian state of Punjab, where Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the first of the Sikh gurus, laid the foundation for a new faith based on the concept of the One Supreme Creator. Guru Nanak Dev Ji was a visionary mystic and philosopher who tried to bridge the gap between different religious and social communities. He advocated equality of all human beings irrespective of caste, religion and gender. Guru Nanak's teachings were captured in hymns and poems, which later became the holy scripture of Sikhism, known as the Guru Granth Sahib.
The family of Sikh Gurus continued even after Guru Nanak Dev ji passed away, each offering chadar to the other. After him Guru Angad Dev Ji, Guru Amar Das Ji, Guru Ram Das Ji and Guru Arjan Dev Ji became. Guru Arjan Dev ji played an important role in shaping Sikhism by compiling the writings of not only Sikh Gurus but also saints of different religions. This collection has become the basis of Sikh literature and has become an important guide for the Sikh community.
The fifth Guru, Guru Arjan Dev Ji, faced great persecution from the Mughal emperor Jahangir, who saw Sikhism as a challenge to his rule. Guru Arjan Dev Ji was martyred in 1606, becoming the first Sikh Guru to sacrifice his life for the principles he espoused.
Guru Hargobind Sahib, the sixth Guru, succeeded Guru Arjan Dev Ji and became the first teacher of the Guru Warriors. He led the Sikhs through a period of intense struggle against the oppressive Mughal rule. Guru Hargobind Sahib supported the Miri-Piri concept which emphasized spiritual and temporal authority. He wields two swords to symbolize this duality, marking the beginning of the Sikh martial tradition.
Guru Har Rai Ji and Guru Har Krishan Ji followed him as the seventh and eighth gurus respectively, contributing to the spiritual and humanitarian aspects of Sikhism. Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the ninth Guru, stood out as a champion of religious freedom and tolerance. He sacrificed his life to protect the rights of Hindus and their religion during the reign of Emperor Aurangzeb.
Finally, the stage was set before the tenth and last human guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji. He faced enormous challenges in his life, including the loss of his father, Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, and the persecution of the Sikhs. Guru Gobind Singh Ji tried to awaken the Sikh community and prepare it to face difficulties with courage. In 1699 he founded the Khalsa, a special community of Sikhs bound by a code of conduct, baptized in Amri, the sacred nectar.
Under the leadership of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the Sikhs became fearsome warriors and staunch defenders of the truth. The Khalsa formation instilled a spirit of fearlessness and devotion to justice among the Sikhs, empowering them to confront tyranny and oppression.
In the following centuries, the Sikh community suffered various trials and tribulations, but the principles of equality, service and devotion to the Creator remained unchanged. Sikh warriors such as Banda Singh Bahadur fought valiantly against tyranny and established a brief but influential Sikh kingdom in the early 18th century. After Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Martyrdom, there were many warriors: like Sardar Nawab Kapur, Sardar Jassa Singh Ramgarhia, Sardar Jassa Singh Ahluwaia, Sardar Hari Singh Nalwa and many more.
Sikh history embodies a legacy of spiritual enlightenment, unflinching courage and service to humanity. Today, Sikhs around the world continue to follow the teachings of their Gurus and contribute positively to their communities while maintaining the values that have defined their remarkable journey through history.

Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism was born at Talwandi Rai Bhoi (now called Nankana Sahib), the southwest of Lahore (Pakistan) in April 1469. *Somehow the Celebration has been misplaced in the Calendar from Vaisakh month to Kartik. He was a revolutionary, religious, and social "former according to whom the political and cultural domination of the people by the ruling and priestly classes was chiefly responsible for their degeneration. He refused to recognize the distinctions between man and man and between the sexes created by the old caste systems and other orthodox social conventions and proclaimed that all women born were equal in the eyes of God. The Sikhs as a community are the disciples and followers of Guru Nanak and his nine lights till Guru Gobind Singh, who created out of the disunited and emasculated fabric of society in Northern India a well-knit homogeneous body of people devoted in a bold and selfless spirit to the service of their countrymen. Download HD Gurpurab of Guru Nanak Sahib Ji 2023 Wishes Guru Nanak Dev Ji was born at a critical time when India had no centralized power. The foreign invaders were engaged in robbing the country by honoring the countrymen. Superstition and rituals were dominated in the name of religion. The foreign culture was being enforced in this country. There are many aspects to the life of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. He was a great philosopher and a thinker who solved the spiritual curiosities of the common man. The great saint-poet stunned the heart of the public with his sweet and simple voice. Like a revolutionary poet, he raises his voice against the policies of a tyrannical ruler like Babur, then shows the right direction to society trapped in caste animosity and religious rivalries. Apart from being a spiritual thinker, and saint, Guruji was also a great patriot. He was a revolutionary-era man in the true sense.

Message of One-ness When Guru Nanak Dev Ji founded the Sikh religion in the 15th century, it marked the beginning of a revolutionary change in people's attitudes toward it. It was an attack on the paradoxical thinking that separated one's worldly life and one's spiritual life. With his thoughts, Guru Nanak Dev Ji shook the foundation of social and religious values of that period. He first gave the idea to the people that the social life of man is not an obstacle to his spiritual life but an inseparable part of it. Guru Nanak Birthday 2023 Wishes in Punjabi

Download HD When Guru Nanak Dev Ji says 'Ek Omkar, Satnam', he is compelled to accept this definition of spirituality from his followers and from ancient Vedic science to modern science. They say Ek Omkar Satnam i.e. Omkar is the one unchanging truth. Omkar means Om. We all know that whatever we say and utter words have a limit, but Omkar is unlimited. Ancient sages have also called Om Ajapa because Om is wordless i.e. beyond words. Modern science also accepts that Om is not a sound but an Anahata sound. Because sound is produced by the collision or vibration of two objects but not by colliding with anyone. Guru Nanak Dev Ji Birthday 2023 HD Image
