mmm, Yes, Delicious Bugs. Just because you grew up eating insects, doesn't mean everyone else has, Chara. Headcanon time: Chara has no issue with insects and arachnids. I know it's a semi-popular fan theory to have Chara afraid of Spiders. But that theory stems from propaganda spread from Mettaton to get Muffet to attack Frisk. And, While Toriel does make Butterscotch Cinnamon Pie for you in game, she also makes Snail Pie regularly, and I can picture Chara wanting to part take in that. A sorta mix of Beggars can't be Choosers, being Grateful to the ones that have shown you Love, and wanting to Fit In with the rest of the Dreemurrs. Frisk, on the other hand, isn't afraid of bugs or anything. But the notion of wanting to eat them is something they'd rather not think about. Enjoy~ Undertale © Toby Fox

I saw your mention of a goblin language and also came here from the credit on Fallout - I was wondering if you had posted it anywhere, or if it was meant to be kept private? I may be writing a fic that includes unpaired changeling nicknames for each other, and guessed the language they would speak while waiting in the darklands would either be goblin or gumm-gumm.

OH! Hi I wasn't expecting anyone to looking at this blog but sure! Let me scramble to find the link, it's from 2019 after all. 😂

To make the goblin lang I used Vulgarlang and exported it into a dictionary.pdf which I honestly don't mind if people use, as long as you credit this blog so they know where to look if they want to use it too.

Be advised that the dictionary weirdly turned ĩ into i̤, but the only diacritic I used for this language is ~ for nasalisation. A quick copy and paste should fix that issue. Some random tables to help explain the spelling and phonology under the cut.
