genuinely the moment you find an aesthetic you love and start owning it life gets better

#red is My Colour it’s my thing everyone knows that about me and sometimes I catch myself being like wow this is like actually really lame 😭#bc my hair is red my nails (when i have them done) are red i wear red clothes #and it was always tiny things like that where yeah it’s fun and noticeable but not super in ur face if you don’t know any better #but recently I’ve really been leaning into it like I ordered a red wallet and a red bag AND red sunnies #and i actively choose red whenever colour options are available for day to day stuff #like red perfume instead of the original black one (this is my pride and joy) or dumb shit like getting cherry coke instead of normal #and it’s SO dumb it’s so lame but it brings me so much genuine joy #like i fr feel like a character it’s such a harmless way of making myself happy #AND it makes me happier w how i look bc on top of the red I’ve leaned more into grunge aesthetic lately #bc i used to be too scared to whereas now I’m really enjoying it #like i cant remember the last time i was this comfortable in myself physically and that's kinda a big deal for me #fr find an aesthetic you love and just go with it idc if it’s silly I can’t recommend it enough

not sure how many ppl here are really interested in this, but recently animal crossing pocket camp added a shark hood (and not too long ago some ancient egypt themed furniture)

needless to say a lil in-game c!foolish cosplay was inevitable for me :3c

#a few days ago they also released a skater themed clothing collection that’s vaguely s.apnap coded #so i may also do something with that #but also i got a few of the pieces and vaguely tried today and it wasnt really working (mostly cuz none of the hair colors are quite right)#and i don’t have enough leaf tickets to get everything lol #*shaking fist at sky* microtransactions…#anyways i’m not gonna maintag this it’s not really worth it lmao

#help idk what to do with the background #the colors on ranwan themselves don’t look saturated enough (i like saturation) but that’s an easy fix #and i have to clean up the lines and properly render the clothes and hair still #also i feel like chu wanning’s face looks off to me #like it’s not bad but it’s not what i had in mind #i think it’s got something to do with the face shape i think the jaw is too wide maybe #idk i’ll mess around and see #the canvas looks weirdly yellow every time i go back to look at it but that’s just because i added this light yellow layer above everything #because i was going to do the lighting. and then i didn’t. so it’s only half done #also can’t believe i drew the pose myself and it actually turned out nice because usually it doesn’t and then i give up and never come back #wait i think i should fix chu wanning’s shoulder a bit #erha #snow.art

it’s not even that cold out for january but my room is so cold i have to sleep with like 4 blankets minimum, bc my windows are giant single panel holes in my wall and the one that opens has no proper seal on it at all just wood on wood and loose old latches. my curtains block the worst of the draft overnight but it’s straight up dickensian in here

#well. topsheet comforter then 2 additional blankets minimum #i sleep in my underwear year round bc clothes under blankets is sensory hell #and i have a space heater and 2 vents in here but they’re notttt enough. the effects simply don’t last #due to the crazy window situation #i obv can’t leave the space heater on overnight #p

#i have never opened them bc it’s intimidating and I don’t know how to price things!!#but mostly bc i work full time w a good salary so I don’t really need side things to make money #like it feels selfish to suggest that people should pay me to make fanart?? I have finally settled on a career choice. I will become a paralegal.

#Im kinda interested in law but I have no interest in being a lawyer #and it’s a 9-5 office job with decent pay #and good benefits #it seems that everyone has bought into this grind culture entrepreneur mentality #but I want no parts of that. I don’t want to be obsencely rich or a trailblazer #i literally just want enough to live comfortably on my own. that’s it.#a nice one bedroom next to a park with a few cats and enough leftover to go on vacation or splurge on clothes idk

everyone always talks like the confrontation between naminé and recompleted lauriam & elrena is gonna be her chasing them down trying to attack them like a feral dog while they’re screaming the whole time and while i admit that’s funny

i raise you: lauriam is a kind and reasonable young man who can recognize when he’s messed up big time and needs to make amends. elrena is probably not as inherently nice but she would follow suit along with lauriam. naminé has like zero self esteem and would probably never even speak up about how she’s been wronged so terribly by someone, and she’s not a fighter in any way.

so i propose to you: they have like. a deal where lauriam offers to just let her punch him like once. really hard in the stomach or something. same with elrena. naminé gets one free shot of her choosing on each of them and then they’ll call it good and peacefully move on with their lives

alternatively. she does not want this. she asks for a large sum of cash in reparations. lauriam and elrena actually find this far more terrifying because they have absolutely nothing. they wish they could just have someone beat them up and call it good. they start panicking and naminé’s like oh geez i hope that’s not too unreasonable maybe i should back downNO. her friends make her stand her ground and keep the deal terms the same. naminé would probably apologize to you if you poured soup in her lap but the entire rest of her friend group are keyblade wielders who are more than willing to threaten lauriam and elrena a little bit

Just talked to some Jehovah’s Witnesses about the occupation of Palestine on my porch

#one thing about me I can’t turn away religious missionaries #it feels so rude idk . I don’t fw what they’re doing but also they were already indoctrinated and get doors slammed in their faces all day #so I like to be kind to them and hear what they have to say just like human to human #even tho I know I’ll never agree enough to buy into what they’re selling #they were nice tho they showed me a corny video about God’s Kingdom and just talked to me a lil bit #and gave me a pamphlet that I’m prolly not gonna read #they just got out of church I think?#bc there was like a parade of Jehovah’s Witnesses in nice clothes walking down my street #idk where their church is I didn’t know we had much of that demographic in my neighborhood akdjskfkakcmskfm #most of the people I’ve met here are puerto rican catholics lol
