eddie is more than a double texter. this boy will send you MANY texts in a row. most of his screen time is spent in the messages app because he’s texting you. messaging you about things he sees when he’s out that remind him of you. sending you i miss you texts anytime your separated for more than a day because this boy is CLINGY. he’ll text you that he misses you like 5 minutes after you leave. also, he has you saved in his phone as “freak” cause it’s ironic and you have him saved in your phone as “loser <3″.

he’ll send you voice notes with ideas in the middle of the night because he’s far too lazy to type them out. it’s also way faster for him to just talk them out rather than type them and he doesn’t wanna lose them so he sends them all to you. especially cause he knows that you love listening to them in the morning cause he’s got such an attractive voice; you could listen to him talk and talk for hours about anything.

oh he would despise my favourite artists. but i think he would for sure pay attention to the artists you like and make a playlist that’s a mix of both your fav music and his so you can have a happy medium. like some song by dio would play and then daylight by harry styles would come on right after. and yes it would be a very chaotic playlist, but it’s perfect. (also i’d like to think that you play creep by radiohead for him once and tell him it reminds you of him and he’s mildly offended, but also his heart soars because a song reminds you of him </3).

oh yeah, he’s dressing basically the exact same way. still the same loserboy, but probably with black/red nail polish & YES, black eyeliner sometimes. but when he does it it’s really messy, so he gets you to do it for him on the nights he has shows at an old dive bar. you’ve told him to practice applying it himself, but he enjoys having you sit in his lap & hold his face gently while you put it on for him.

somehow, i think eddie would be so much more of a nerd in present day & yes he would totally cosplay 😭

i think he’d be really into story-based horror games (he’d despise shit like fortnite) like Until Dawn & he’d love finding all the secrets & clues & all that. let’s you sit between his legs or in his lap while he plays. & u don’t mind watching him play cause the stories are interesting & you like seeing how eddie makes the characters interact & what paths he chooses. let’s you make decision as well; he’ll ask for your input on what you think he should have the characters say to each other/do. he wants to make sure you’re having a good time & if he can sense you’re getting bored he’ll save and switch the game off.

As for Areum’s mention of him ultizing her natural ability in aim…that knight also be a surprise tool for later ;) because she isn’t necessarily referring to the duel when she mentions this! As for why it’s swords only, it’s mainly due to the fact that a lot of their culture centers around steelwork, and most of steelwork when it comes to weaponry is…swords, they go a bit hand in hand. Archery is used but it’s not a very utilized skill in Penumbra, whereas everybody and their baby can wield a sword or dagger.

!!! PLEASE I was SO excited for everyone’s reaction at the scene where they’re playing with lil pup 🥹 even if the subject they’re discussing is…grim at best, but still, the bonding time!! 🥹🫶 also LSHAKJSS YESS JUNGKOOK IS TOTALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO GOADING SEOKJIN ABOUT BEING MARRIED TO MC 😭

In a different world, in which Diluc is cursed into a mindless beast after the passing of his father, King Crepus. Mondstadt lives in peril as the Gunnhildrs do their best to run the now Kingless country while they mourn the lost of the beloved Ragnvindr’s.

The beast looks an awful lot like the flaming winged creature the late king used to draw. To you, it reminds you of the elegant flames the crowned prince used to create during battle. ‘Dawn’, as he had told you during one of your secret meetings.

It was a stroke of luck that you even met the crowned prince all those years ago in your youth. Your brother had gone missing— lost in the woods without any sign of return. He was all you had, so what more could you lose? No one in Mondstadt was awaiting your return home, after all.

So as the rain fell and your vision became more blurry, your tears could only be washed away as you await the final blow.

Yet, it never came.

Because at that moment the young prince had come to your aid. Perhaps it was a dream— at least, that’s what you believed as the unbearable searing pain in your head made you lose all sense of reality. But when you awoke the next day and it was indeed the prince who had saved your life, you begin to wonder if your life had become a fairytail.

From that day, you were inseparable. Well, not quite. As even with your brother forever lost, he became a new home. He swore to protect and to always be by your side, yet you can only ever see him in secrecy. In the woods at night, where he arrives in his drab clothing and gold accented mask.

You had asked him of this, insecurities and fears fueling your blood as hushed whispers become enraged words.

“It’s too dangerous. My enemies will come for you, too.”

Hours went by or perhaps it had only been moments. You did not know nor did you care, because at that moment time became irrelevant. At the peak of your frustration and anger, you storm off, leaving the prince all alone in the woods.

And that would be the last time you ever see him.

So as you stand in the abandoned streets of Mondstadt, the screaming of civilians heard left and right as they attempt to evacuate the burning city, you could only stare at the flaming beast in awe. It lets out an ear piercing screech as it soars gracefully through the darkened sky, almost as if it could not care for the lives it had ruined and taken during its terror.

“What are you doing?! You must go!” A voice shouts and it is Kaeya, who is shaking your shoulders desperately to ground you back from your thoughts. But you can only smile somberly at the blue haired man who stares with exasperation.

“It looks like him, doesn’t it?” You ask.

The blue haired man stills as a glaze comes down over his eyes. You know Diluc’s death hurts him too— because as much as they used to bicker in youth, they had been brothers in all but blood. You once found him nuisance back then, as all his teasing infuriated you to no end.

But now he was all you had. You, were all he had, as he was kicked from castle with a bounty on his head for murder.

You don’t object when he drags you down the streets, but you do turn your head one last time to witness the beast in all its glory. As though it had eyes of its own and was returning your gaze before you disappeared underneath the city of freedom.

Chapter Nineteen: Pre lit

Summary: Y/l/n Y/n, a third year at Sakura High School, is just a girl with a bad attitude towards anyone outside her small circle. When y/n’s younger sister starts first year, she gains a lot of attention. Unfortunately for everyone in school, the Y/l/n household has one rule, No dating till y/n does. Some people become just desperate enough to pay the leader of the “Monsters”, the trouble making group on campus, to date y/n. What will happen when she finds out? (All characters aged up to third year unless otherwise stated)

Time Skip to Friday, Lunch time before the dance, Y/n POV

“Don’t forget your writing assignment is due Monday and it will be presented to the class.” Mr Yagami said as the class left for lunch. I turned to Tendou as we walked out together.

“So did you finally tell them you and I are going together tonight babe?” He asked me.

“I will right now Satori. They both have been a little more on edge since shit with Mei last weekend honestly. I didn’t want to salt Tsuki’s wound. Shirabu also already knows anyway and he supports it.”

“Oh there is Tsukishima.” He said as he dipped down a side hall heading outside. “See you at 9 babe.”

At my locker my friends were already waiting for me to head to lunch. We headed to the court yard and sat at our usual table as I looked at Shirabu.

“I think it’s time to include you guys in the loop before tonight happens.” I said.

“What loop?” Tsukishima said with a hint of annoyance.

“Tendou is taking me to the dance because I like him and you cannot change my mind. So either you support me or I can just leave the table and go hang out with him.” I said as fast as I could. Tsukishima let out a loud sigh.

“Oh I am happy for you y/n! I don’t mean to rush off but I have to go grab something from my teacher. I am happy for you!” Yamaguchi said as he stood up.

“I can tell you are genuine Yams, don’t worry. I will see you later in class!” I looked over to Tsukishima.

“I guess it’s fine. I don’t want to lose our friendship for some shitty guy. If he hurts you I will say I told you so.”

“I will take it.” I said happy as my friends had accepted Tendou as my date.

Mei POV

I texted my sisters group and no one responded. I even tried to message my best friend who ignored me too. I checked my messages with Oikawa to see if he had responded yet. Just a short while ago I overheard Oikawa say I was nothing but an expensive fuck. I could feel my heart shatter when I heard him say that. I ran and immediately texted him I was unable to go to the dance tonight cause my father said I am too young. I now sat under a tree as I let my tears free fall from my eyes.

“Mei… is that you?” I turned my head to see Yamaguchi.

“Hi…” I said just above a whisper.

“What happened? Why are you here all alone crying outside?”

“I just.. I am sorry Yamaguchi. Y/n was right, I suck.” He then sat down beside me as he placed a pile of papers beside him .

“Hey… I know I said some very harsh things to you a few days ago and I definitely could have worded them better but that doesn’t mean you suck, okay?”

“I do. Y/n finally opened up to me and I blew her off and called Oikawa behind her back.” I saw Yamaguchi shift uncomfortably beside me. “I knew it was wrong but I thought he really liked me, till a little while ago… I heard him tell Iwaizumi I was just an expensive fuck who was showing to be not worth it anymore.”

“Mei… I am so sorry.”

“Please Yams, don’t be. If only I listened to Y/n. She tried to warn me so many times and I just wanted to be popular. I just, really wanted to be someone’s someone. I don’t know how y/n does it. Dad didn't care about us after mom left and I took such a great advantage of her to the point I don’t think she will forgive me. I even used the money she was saving for mine and her dresses and now it was just a waste. I really messed up Yams.” I said as I buried my face in my hands. He placed his hand on my back.

“Hey, y/n has the biggest soft spot for you, I have seen it first hand okay? She will forgive you. And about the dresses, Mei will you go to the dance with me?” I looked into Yamaguchi’s eyes.

“Are you serious…?” I asked him.

“Yes Mei. Come with me and we will talk to Shirabu, Tsukishima and y/n together before we go, Okay?” I nodded my head in agreement as he gave me a hug then helped me up.

Time Skip after school-Y/n POV

“If I had to give Tsuki a title its teen angst cause LOOK AT HIMMMM!” I shouted as I laughed at him.

“I mean, can he deny it? No.”Shirabu replied. Even Tsukishima was laughing at that moment. We were interpreted by Mei as she entered the room. She sat down and began to tell us about what had happened with Oikawa.

“I told you he was a piece of shit Mei.” I interrupted. She made no attempt to dig back at me as she carried on her speech. She told us what her and Yamaguchi had spoken about at lunch according to them.

“You are my younger sister and no matter what I love you, I don’t trust you though so that's something you will have to earn back.” She jumped from her seat as she engulfed me into a hug saying how much she loved me with her whole heart over and over again.

“I love you too but I got to get ready. Satori will be here in 30 minutes with the limo. You guys sure you don’t want to carpool with us?”

“All the monsters in a small space… I will take a hard pass y/n.” Yamaguchi said.

“I will get ready with you if that’s okay though?” Mei said as I reached my hand out for her to take.

After Mei and I got ready Tendou had just messaged he would be here soon. My father took many pictures of the five of us as we headed out the door. I jumped in Tsukiishima’s car till we got around the corner and I hopped out seeing Tendou leaned up against the limo.

“Hey babe.” He said as he pulled me into a kiss. We got inside the limo as Terushima was the first to speak to me.

“Milkshake girl! What’s up?” He was noticeably already intoxicated at this time. “You wanna beer? We are getting pre lit before this fancy shit fest!”

“I am okay, maybe after the dance.” I said.

The ride was quite enjoyable as I feel I saw a new side of the rowdy bunch I once hated. We arrived at the school in no time as Tendou helped me out of the limo.

“Looks pretty fancy already.” Hanamaki said as he walked up to the door with the rest as they followed close behind him.

“You ready for the dance, Satori?” I asked him.

“As ready as I will ever be y/n.” He said taking my arm in his as we walked up the few steps to get to the door.

It’s fine that you don’t have any- No apologies needed!!! It was more of a “if you do have any, I’m open to hearing them” kinda thing than a “if you don’t have any I’ll take your life and also your wallet” thing, you know? But! Yeah, balance is Important. And! Yes, yes I do think you have a good grasp on the characters- It’s what makes talking to you about this so fun! Atsushi is... Hm. (Nyanon, 1/9)

I don’t wanna say “naturally nice” because I think he puts a lot of effort into being nice, despite everything he went through as a kid trying to make anger and hate his first response? And I don’t wanna take that away from him. But! I definitely don’t think he’s naturally cruel- At best, he’s only cruel when others things take precedence over the wellbeing of others (IE- His fear of losing control and Dazai’s exploitation of that fear in BEAST). And even then, I’d less call that cruel and more desperate. Also! I’d say that, in this AU, if Atsushi is swapped with Dazai or Chuuya, Akutagawa would be swapped with the other- Mainly because I think that Chuuya’s partner HAS to be able to nullify Corruption if he doesn’t wanna Immediately Die after going apeshit. Sorry Chuuya, you’re stuck with the mackerel. Nothings wrong with the idea of Atsushi mentoring Akutagawa, though- Its actually a pretty nice idea! (Nyanon, 3/9)

Actually... Wasn’t there some kinda “Atsushi and Dazai grew up together” AU another anon sent? Maybe Atsushi could do the mentoring of Akutagawa there??? Anyways. I do think you’re right about mafia!Atsushi being a bit more Oda-like? He’s definitely not the type to enjoy killing, or do it more than he has to- But, unlike Oda, I think he has more... Maybe not charm or persuasive ability, but more of a tendency to meet the right people at the right time to gain their loyalty? (Nyanon, 4/9)

Whether he realizes it or not. And I could definitely see Mori allowing his more pacifistic nature to persist because of that- By allowing it, Atsushi inadvertently draws more people into the mafia, thereby making them more powerful. The only draw back would be those people probably being more loyal to Atsushi than they are to Mori himself? But that could be dealt with by giving him a higher position, hence justifying him not being some “nameless mook” like Oda was, I believe. (Nyanon, 5/9)

Does that make sense? Hopefully it did, I’m not always the best at explaining, haha... Unfortunately, I still don’t know what to dooo- Especially with Dazai, now that I think about it! I think the most interesting route, for him, would be to go with the Atsushi/Chuuya and Akutagawa/Dazai route, because Akutagawa could still have his weird Dazai obsession there- He just seeks his approval as a teacher instead of as a student, hence his training of Chuuya after he ditches the mafia? (Nyanon, 6/9)

He wants to make Dazai jealous. Not that it’d work, because the Dazai of this route couldn’t care less about him- He prefers Atsushi, who I think he’d find more interesting, given Atsushi’s disposition despite his high rank in organized crime? And eventually he’d actually be won-over by Atsushi’s general... Atsushi-ness. And possibly get a crush on him, but I think lots of mafioso would get a crush on him here??? Dazai just has the biggest one, haha. (Nyanon, 7/9)

I don’t know, there’s more for both sides, but I’ve rambled enough asdfghjkl- Moving on! Yes, Atsushi definitely lands on his feet All The Time, which is both amazing and concerning because “Atsushi, I can hear your bones shattering sTOP IT-“ Luckily Yosano is on the job! With her medic skills and Atsushi’s healing, he’ll be right as rain~ And! Moving on to your Nyatsushi Concept of the Day: He subconsciously sees eye contact as threatening or assertive. While this is, in part, due to the orphanage’s treatment, Atsushi’s more feline inclinations indicate that making eye contact can be threatening or come off as someone trying to assert their dominance over another. Anyways, sorry for this getting so long!!! I’m apparently much more passionate about this AU than I thought, because I still have more, haha. (Nyanon, 9/9)

i think since atsushi was raised at the orphanage even in this au he knows that most of the mafioso there come from a bad background with no parents, bad parents or just anything else where his compassion plays in. which is how he understands and which is why he tries to be nice and how he becomes charming and makes more people join!!! downside is as you say is that they favour him more than mori aghjkelsds (and you do make sense dont worry uwu)

AND OWO YES THE ATSUSHI AND DAZAI GREW UP TOGETHER AU THATS WHERE ATSUSHI COULD DO THE MENTORING!! i think dazai would be more softer on akutagawa then since atsushi wont like him being physical which will make the feeling of anger in akutagawa be,,,,Less when they meet again??
