#I know I'm doing poetober but heres an extra poem because I felt creative today
My Obliteration 10/3/23
A daisy grew along my clavicle
It twisted along and weaved through my ribs
And down my spine the grass grew up
Swaying peacefully in the wind
Young tree roots stretched into my skull
Lilacs poking through my orbits and my nose
And a mama fox stole away
With a piece of me I no longer need
And the dirt and dust that used to slip
from my palms and my fingers
Is made up now
of what lefts of my hands
I am swallowed up by earth
and her good intentions
and In my obliteration
Did I finally see the purpose
