If we look at it from Cassandra's perspective, I believe she was mostly absolutely justified in Y1. Because if some random girl tried to make me dissapear/seriously hurt/kill me (the way it looked like from her perspective) but failed I'd also do a background check on her too 🤨 like girl what if she already hurt someone before? Plus, Cass wanting Ivy to get expelled? DUH she though Ivy almost killed her! Plus she learned she allegedly wasn't the first one so she's even more justified.

i love that he's so candid about talking about his murders and says shit like "homicide is my hobby" but when it comes to shooting people he either says some bullshit like "blowing their brains out" or calling them "fireworks" or it's about date "watching them die." the only time he calls it "shooting" is when someone else is doing it. and normally that sort of thing reads as 'distancing yourself from the crimes' but wouldn't that be fucking wild lmao. i think it reads more like it's above just shooting? it's art! perfect, beautiful art of a lonely moment in time.

and all the "(you were) a murderer. a serial killer" "have you been using other men's names for so long that you've forgotten your own" talk feels like it should be leading into a "we're not so different you and i" but it never does. You have left your house, you have left those people behind, but what are you going to do about the memories which have taken root in you? You can run but not without them. Can someone tell you what to do? I'm gonna cry, honestly

in my senior year of college, my grades really slipped, to the point that when grades for my last semester came out, it was clear that with what I had I couldn't graduate. I honestly would've been more surprised if I had been able to graduate

my parents and I talked. a lot. my mom was disappointed, but we talked and we're doing better now. my dad was frustrated, but he also looked at me and told me to read the date on his diploma. and then asked how he could be mad when I did exactly the same thing he did

the assumption was that I would have to take at least one more class in my field of study, which is Biblical Studies, so the options for where I can get a relevant class are...limited

but my dad said to wait. just wait. be patient until I got an email from the registrar saying what I needed.

I got that email today, from the dean of my school. he told me I needed one more credit hour in my department to graduate. and then he said that since I'd done my internship for zero credit hours, if I did the paper evaluating my internship he could bump it up to one credit hour with no extra charge

I think I cried for an hour. I actually get to graduate. I get to spend my money and time saving up for a home and a newer car and buying food for my darling cat.

It's weird, thinking how much that hit me. Freshman me would've been shocked and somewhat horrified that I was so relieved just to graduate. But it feels like the days I wake up and realize that it's not so bad to be alive

every now and then I think about trying to Do Fandom again but then I spend half an hour doing chores and thinking about, for instance, one specific episode [5.02] of Father Brown, realising that the reason the arranged marriage feels like it works in the end (other than both parties clearly choosing it) is that it isn't just the guy's younger brother who's autistic, but his bride-to-be probably is too.

the first time he shows any real interest in joan as a person, not just civility or this low key sucks for both of us so I'm gonna give you as much freedom as I can ("an heir and a spare and you can do your own thing, if you get my drift"), it's when he asks her a question about mathematics and gets her talking - not really understanding it but telling her, afterwards, he'd like to hear more about it sometime.

looking at him a bit closer, I actually like his character more than I expected. he's not a proper young man of his station, he's taken his family's reputation down a few notches through what we can assume is (tactfully put) a fondness for partying, and I'd generally expect a character like that to treat women pretty poorly, except robert seems to be better than that. then there's the toy cavalry soldier he carries as a good luck charm, a major general from his brother's toy set who shares robert's name - because it's something his brother loves, and maybe a way the two of them connect.

and robert's stuck awkwardly chatting to this woman who he's meant to marry but doesn't really know. someone who doesn't always look people in the eyes; who doesn't quite seem to know how to interact with him; who talks algorithms and graph theory and is fascinated with mazes.

this is a guy who, reading between the lines of he loves his brother and he carries around a little soldier figurine is someone who speaks "listening to you infodump" and "sharing your special interest" as love languages. and later when it looks like the engagement's not going to happen, he quietly mentions that he was just starting to like her.

I like to think that his moment walking side by side with her, listening as she talked with intelligence and real confidence, was a bit of an oh moment for him. a bit "this is someone I can relate to", a bit "this is someone I can like". and him showing respect and genuine interest, even after she stopped herself and apologised, probably helped her begin to like him too. not love for either of them, not yet, but the beginnings of something good.

and joan asking to meet his brother, getting to know him a little and asking arthur if he wants to live with them both rather than staying hidden away, brings it full circle in a pretty satisfying way.

(and that is more analysis, perhaps, than the episode calls for.)

Okay, I finally saw the Barbie movie today, and now I'm thinking about Lila creating all sorts of gorgeous outfits inspired by it 😭 Actually, I'd love to imagine a Barbie movie night for all your cmc's... The Barbie movie is The Lila Aesthetic. It's a bubblegum technicolor pink daydream and it is the moment she's been waiting for. I am so happy to inform you that she would take that movie premiere upon herself and create looks for everybody in the house, regardless of this thing called Post-RAE or Secret Ending. This is her Moment.

Okay. For Minji and Judas, I've got to tell you that she would want to recreate the disco for them. Minji has the legs for a jumpsuit and it would be a waste if she didn't show off those long legs. She's a vision in gold and silver! I'm telling you that! I know you might expect any sporty Barbie for Minji, but that's thinking in smalls when we need to think in large. Minji is a runner, a dancer, put those together and you've got a delightful melody in your hands.

See, Judas is flexible like Saeyoung. It would never be hard to get him to dress in Barbie or Ken's outfits. But, he loves to coordinate and since Saeyoung and Minji would absolutely... go as Barbies, he would gladly settle for that perfect opportunity to be their arm candy... I just have to debate if he would match Minji... or Saeyoung... that's the hardest question to answer.

I think I'm biased as Hell but I want to see Saeyoung as a cowgirl Barbie. Listen. Could I boldly say that I want Saeran in that outfit? I can. I will. But, in the context of this situation, I would say that Saeyoung wants his titties and stomach to show comfortably.

There's... something about Saeyoung in flared jeans! I don't know how else to elaborate here! I think he would be gorgeous! The hot pink brings all the red out of his hair and I just know he'd be the guy who makes a prop gun that shoots a piece of paper out that says "Kiss!"

So. Uh... The key takeaway is to Debate Disco Judas or Cowboy Judas as his fate. Both are equally good opportunities to choose from and you can't go wrong. I'd say think long and hard about whichever one seems amusing and exciting to you and go with it. There is literally no wrong answer here.

The gingham dress is my true love. There is something about it that just screams classic staple Barbie. It's not too much and it's not too little. It is just the right amount of Barbie to feel like Barbie. The accessories are what make it and I'm in love with those light Daisy charms. Lila would love those, too. She loves Barbie as much as I do and it would make her feel giddy to be able to see her reflection in an outfit like that. I'd say she'd go for classic Barbie through and through—

But what does that mean in the situation where GE Saeran or SE Saeran get to be a matching set? You absolutely know what it means. If she's going to be classic Barbie then he's going to be classic Ken. What's more classic than a beach Ken? At least, to me, my view of Ken has always had him as a lifeguard.

I’ve been doing it for a few years now and it’s helped reduce stress, anxiety, depression etc, and improves sleep and creativity. It’s not a substitute for a therapist but it’s a great pairing to go with it (think of it like a glass of wine paired to a meal). Recently it’s been helping me heal from some mental and emotional trauma by allowing me to focus on myself and meditate with my thoughts with no outside influence or distractions.

It can be scary the first few times but when you let go of your fear and breathe, you really get to know a deep, spiritual side of yourself! And the salt makes your skin feel super soft 🥰

#thank you for coming to my Ted talk #therapy is a tool and the float is where you dissect what you learn #and also where you have nowhere to run from your thoughts so you have to confront them #my demons don’t bother me in the tank because that’s where we talk and I learn hard truths I try to avoid thinking about #I’ve cried in tanks before because truths about people you cared for can be hard to process but it’s in an environment where I feel safe #I know for some people they don’t want to look at themselves in such an intimate way but I promise it will help guide you to what you need #I hope that makes sense??? #I always recommend trying it #you learn a lot about yourself and your mind can process things you learn in therapy in a quiet environment #when it’s just you and the water you learn to feel safe in your own company and my self love has been improving since I started meditating #and sometimes I just like to vibe and imagine OCs kissing #floating is always a win win
