Thinking about how Youngwoo joining the firm gives her a big group of friends, she used to sit at the bar and only sit with geurami but now a whole table in the pub is filled with people, she even became closer with mr hairy boss
Youngwoo joining the firm also does that for Jung Myungseok who was probably living a very lonely life before as an overworked divorcee but now he has other people looking out for him who even cook food for his mom and visit him when he's sick

love is running across jeju to find a cook, to use one’s extensive legal knowledge to help open a restaurant just so they can eat meat noodles, maybe for the last time. Love is doing the unnecessary, with diligence, love doesn’t make the misfortune go away, it makes it bearable, it laces it with joy.

was looking at korean tweets about EAW on twitter and this tweet caught my eye with the wonderful comparison it drew. the tweet they quoted says that myeong-seok's office at the end of episode 12 looks like the dark waters of an aquarium.
"i was wondering why the dinner party was on the roof. attorney ryu jae-sook who is free under the blue sky. jung myeong-seok who is stuck in the dark aquarium."

Atty. Jung Myeong Seok is a real mentor.
I could never thank him enough for being such a reliable sunbae for all the rookie attorneys. I love how he handled this situation. He is warm hearted and a very competent professional.
I am really looking forward how the rookie attorneys would learn from him and how he, would also learn from them in return. Because I guess that's what a real mentor is--someone who is not afraid to learn from others despite the experienced they already have within them. Someone who is always still willing to be taught.
Fighting Atty. Jung!

if I had a nickel for every time I watch a kdrama and become rapidly obsessed with the imaginary relationship of side characters in the drama- who weren't interested canonically, have/had different partners, are not gay(as far as the writers know), have like two scenes together, and ultimately don't care that much about each other/ aren't onscreen much together- I wouldn't have much but it's really really weird that it has happened thrice.

In addition to “Crash Landing on You”, my girlfriend and I started watching “Extraordinary Attorney Woo”, a k-drama that my parents wanted me to watch since I’m in law school. It’s a pretty fun show, but I just want to highlight this one part:
“People can score well just by having great memorization skills. I need an attorney who can meet with clients and go to trials.”
The show roasted the entire premise of “Suits” in two lines. Side note, if we’re to continue the “Suits” comparison, Young-woo is Mike, Jun-ho is Rachel, and Myung-seok is Harvey.
