Welcome to my blog dear creatures of the night, it’s so wonderful to have you here!Here I will design icons for characters of my favorite genre: horror! This ranges from horror films, horror video games, horror manga, anything horror related so long as there exists official artwork or screenshots. Before we begin, please consider the following:

This blog is dedicated to horror icons from films, animation, video games and more, with a few exceptions! To keep with the spooky theme, I am allowing requests for Ghost, Dark, and Psychic Pokémon and trainers. Additionally, I am accepting requests for media that isn’t categorized as horror, but has a very prominent spooky theme (the Beetlejuice cartoon, Hotel Transylvania, Monster High, Monster Prom, etc). If there is a series you are unsure about being considered horror/horror adjacent, simply ask and I’ll let you know if it qualifies.

I am welcoming of all regressors, dreamers, systems, kinnies and mogai identities alike! You’re absolutely allowed to tag any posts as “kin” or otherwise. So long as you don’t infringe on my dni banner, you’re free to interact!

Proshippers/anti-antis, pro para and radqueers are not welcome here.

If a character has a confirmed canonical identity, I will not accept requests that contradict their gender/sexuality. (i.e. Glen Ray is canonically genderfluid and David King has been confirmed to be gay.)

To avoid any confusion and clear the clutter, anonymous asks will not be enabled. All asks will be answered privately and any attempts at conflict will be promptly deleted.

When requesting, please specify if there is a specific flag you’d like me to use. With anonymous asks turned off, you are able to submit images and provide links for reference!

Rules

I decide what I wanna write. I reserve the right to cancel RPs and dismiss asks if I don't find them appealing.

I write my muses the way I like, according to my headcanons. Be aware of how I write them, before you send an ask. You are welcome to ask me.

No god-modding in the asks. Put my muse in lewd situations, but don't tell me how they act or react!

I do enjoy a bit of setup to get a sense of the scene and inspire me. The less details you give on what your muse does, the harder things get for me, and the more likely your ask gets dismissed.

For the sake of smut, most couples are in open relationships and screw around with other people. BUT if you are shipping muses into a relationship or make them date, I have to agree with the ship myself. Feel free to ask me on my opinions on ships.

If you want to RP, send the starter to my ask box and I'll respond when I am ready.

I won't write Scat, Gore, Blackmail (unless specifically asked) or NTR, though more consensual cucking is still on the table.

Writing many and multiple muses honestly is exhausting. I'd rather write just two muses and focus on them, than speeding through more than that. Two muses is the limit. Three characters tops, but the ask needs to be really good.

IN DEFENSE OF THE ORANGE ISLANDS (PT. 2)

The season started out with Takeshi (Brock) leaving and a new character, a new male companion joining: Kenji (Tracey Sketchit), who also gets way too much hate. This guy never did something wrong in his life, what’s all of you guys’ damn problem? Kenji is very curious, very brave, very nice and kind toward both Satoshi (Ash) and Kasumi (Misty). He is fun to watch, adorable when freaking shy toward women (his crush for the tanned-Joy was so cute and he went through a big risk to help her), and loves Pokémon with all of his heart. Being a Pokémon Watcher is honestly a great Pokémon career if you ask me: you are interested in all of them, everything concerning the Pokémon world becomes something worth studying, you can go here and there without ever stop learning; it can be very similar to be a Breeder or a Photographer somehow, but when we think about it all kinds of trainers still have many things in common anyway. He was also refreshing because even being very acquainted about Pokémon species he never played the father/big brother figure toward Satoshi: he was probably a bit older than him and Kasumi, maybe 12/13 years old?, but still just a friend, not a guide. He also had very unique Pokémon which were perfect for his career (Marill, which could sense noices even at huge distances, Kongpang/Venonat, which had radar eyes, and a Strike/Scyther, which was very cool and also their relationship and the episode where he caught it really proved Kenji’s love for Pokémon). Last but not least episode 111, where he meets another Pokémon Watcher, is absolutely adorable: you see him having an actual someone to look up to, someone who understands him and teaches him any kind of stuff. I wish they ecountered again in the future, even if Kenji’s admiration for Okido Hakase was also very nice to watch and I’m sure he’ll do good under his supervision.

This was also a great season for Kasumi’s development as a trainer and for her and Satoshi’s feelings to emerge even more clearly (yes, I’m a Pokéshipper, but everything I’m about to say it’s just canon, as a matter of fact the original ending was supposed to have Satoshi and Kasumi (Misty) married with a cute pink-haired daughter), but we’ll talk about this another time.

As I already explained, she gets to meet one of her greatest idols, Kanna (Lorelei), and that alone I think means a lot in a person’s life, also because she went to her house and Kanna gave them a lot of information about her way of battling and some life advices in general.

But something that happens even earlier, in episode 93, is her meeting another water-type trainer, obsessed with water Pokémon just as much as she is: Tsubaki (Marina) a hot-headed and very energic girl just like her and they soon become rivals other than friends.

This episode allows Kasumi to show her skills as a water-type trainer and she even manages to battle with a Pokémon that it’s not hers: for a moment, she thinks her Koduck (Psyduck) evolved, but in reality it was just resting in its Monster Ball (Pokéball) and she fought with a wild Golduck.

Another important moment for Kasumi as a trainer happens in episode 112, when she has to go finding a healing alga for both Satoshi and Kenji all by herself. She has to battle against Rocket-dan (Team Rocket), more specifically against Kojiro (James) and Nyarth (Meowth), and she uses all of her Pokémon, showing amazing battle skils. This is pretty rare to see, as she doesn’t often use Tosakinto (Goldeen) and doesn’t send out Koduck (Psyduck) to battle unless she really must; her favorite Pokémon for battles are clearly Hitodemon (Stairyu) and Starmie and the second had to be left behind to Hanada Gym (Cerulean Gym). In episode 112 we do not only get to see her entire team engaging an amazing fight (defeating Kojiro’s Pokémon and Nyarth), but we are also introduced to a new addiction tp her squad: Nyoromo (Poliwag), which she’s able to make feel safe and happy and starts following her and Togepi anywhere they go.

Besides, in this episode she also shows us she can be very compassionate and kind when she wants: she leaves some alga for Rocket-dan as well so that they are able to cure Musashi (Jessie), who is ill too. Of course, it’s not the first time she proves herself to be both easily irritable and insanely sweet. She’s a very complex character who deserves way more credit if you ask me.

She acts bravely and fiercely in many episodes, always ready to show her worth and willing to make a difference and to help those in need. She had already shown these traits in season one, but it’s always nice to see her standing on her feet and being able to make decisions, to be strong and coragious and also to be supportive toward her friends.

It’s so satysfing to see her being there not only to follow Satoshi in his journey but to make her own journey. Many amazing episodes of season one were focused on her (as we have many more filler episodes), but the ones of seasons two are astonishing as well.

This is going to be the end of part 2 because I need a lot more space and images to talk about PokéShipping. I also have something else to say about Satoshi and him winning his first league. Last but not least I’m also going to talk about Rocket-dan (Team Rocket) and their relationship as a trio.

Characters Spotlight 2

Quintet based off of the colors of a rainbow- red, orange, yellow, green, and blue. Their sprites were all picked based on their resemblance to the characters, not by their trainer class or anything else. Leia first meets the group while in Alamos Town on her way to the Oreburgh City Gym. After the initial greeting the other five decide to travel west together, whereas Leia is heading east. However, they remain good friends and whenever Leia happens upon them they take pleasure in having warm reunions (thus completing the rainbow as Leia represents the color purple). Amaryl is a close rival of Leia’s in both a formidable match as a Trainer and Coordinator. Initially Marius rubs her the wrong way as he comes off as a serious flirt and womanizer, yet, as time passes he matures and develops more of a personality. Rhysan is a bit of a mystery to Leia as he is not the most open with unacquainted people and she silently admires his grace and courage- eventually forming a bond. Ivy is a huge fan of Leia and views her as a role model and greatly enjoys her company. Jentian likes to ask Leia for advice and appreciates how accepting she is about his life- she is also fascinated with his occupation.

Amaryl, from Alamos Town

A Pokémon Coordinator and Trainer who aspires to be one of the greatest members of both fields. Amaryl is nineteen years of age and her name is based from the amaryllis flower. She is a very comfortable feminine cisfemale pansexual orientated person. Representing the color red and being a straight forward thinking Amaryl is best shown by the female ace trainer sprite. She has a special preference for fire and dark types. Prior to setting out on her journey with her friends Amaryl selected Litten as her starter Pokémon. Amaryl’s face claim is Emi Igawa from Your Lie in April.

Marius, from Beach Rose Town

A trainee of the International Police posing as a Pokémon Breeder. Marius is eighteen years of age and his name is based on the marigold flower. He is quite the dating expert and a lively cismale who identifies as heterosexual, though over the course of his journey he realizes he is actually bisexual. Representing the color orange and being a major flirt Marius is best depicted by the private investigator sprite. He has a deep interest in ground, rock, and fighting types. In tune with his older brother, Maury, he too chose Turtwig as his starter Pokémon. Marius’s face claim is Ryota Watari from Your Lie in April.

Rhysan, from Sunnyshore City

A Pokémon Coordinator who most desires performing and longs to spread beauty to all those he meets. Rhysan is nineteen years of age and their name is from the chrysanthemum flower. He is mature beyond his years and only discusses his non-binary and polysexual identity to those who ask. Representing the color yellow and generally being the most calm and collected individual Rhysan is best portrayed by the rich boy sprite and is a stark contrast to his older brother Volkner. Rhysan prefers electric, physic, and fairy types. When they arrived at Professor Rowan’s lab they decided on Fennekin for their starter Pokémon. Rhysan’s face claim is Takesi Aiza from Your Lie in April.

Ivy, from Sage Town

A Pokémon Trainer who is rather unsure of herself and doesn’t really have an idea of what she wants to amount to. Ivy is eighteen years of age and her name is of the ivy plant. She is uncertain and shy person who identifies as a masculine cisfemale (tomboy) and is unsure of her sexuality. Ivy is growing more confident in her own abilities and personal self, though she still lacks assertiveness. Representing the color green and being a quiet reserved person Ivy is best viewed as the lass trainer sprite (not for the girlish qualities) and later can be viewed as a battle girl or other tough sprite. For as long as she could remember Ivy liked grass (dragon, flying, and steel ones too) types so when entered the lab in Sandgem Town it seemed to stroke of fate that one starter emerge from the rest to greet her- that Treeko was who she agreed on for her starter Pokémon. Ivy’s face claim is Tsubaki Sawabe from Your Lie in April.

Jentian, from Lilypad Town

An Aura Guardian who just getting a true taste of freedom and personnel will. Jentian is eighteen years of age and his name is based from the gentian flower. While growing up in the closed minded household of his parents herterosexuality and cisgenders were the only option. Due to this Jentian is exploring his idenity and labels himself as demiromantic. He has displayed abilities in controlling the power of aura which hails from his father’s native Canalave and Iron Island ancestry (his mother is of Snowpoint City). Rather than spend his days training in solitude on the island Jentian broke tradition and ventured out to begin his own journey. Representing the color blue and being a cautious and reflective young male he is best shown as the blizzard weather male trainer. Rather than receiving a usual Aura Guardian partner Jentian (who has always liked water, ice, and poison types) asked Professor Rowan for a recommendation and thus accepted Froakie as his starter Pokémon. Jentian’s face claim is Kousei Arima from Your Lie in April.
