After Minecraft Says no to NFTs, NFT Worlds Vows to Create its Own Game
Mojang made waves yesterday by stating, in no uncertain phrases that NFTs are not allowed in Minecraft (opens in a new tab). This is good news for gamers but not for those who have already made a commitment to using blockchain technology in games such as NFT Worlds.
"NFT Worlds is a fully decentralized, completely customizable community-driven game that allows players to earn points platform where world owners can create their own limitless metaverse games or experiences for players or exclusive communities within their worlds," its website (opens in new tab) says.
"Currently using Minecraft and its sprawling open-source ecosystem, NFT Worlds builds on the foundation of decades worth of open source development within the Minecraft community. It dramatically extends it to allow an entirely new types of 3D game based on voxels, which is decentralized metaverses, backed by the Ethereum blockchain."
What that means, basically is that it can support custom Minecraft servers that allow players to purchase virtual land parcels and earn (and spend) cryptocurrency-the kind of hybrid system that Mojang's blockchain policy appears specifically aimed at shutting down. It certainly had an impact the price of $WRLD (opens in a new tab) tanked badly immediately following the announcement by the studio.
In response to Mojang's new policy, NFT Worlds has issued an official statement (opens in a new tab) decrying Mojang and Minecraft as having "no regard for builders, creators and players," and vowing to create its own game to replace it.
"We're creating a brand-new game and platform based on many of the core mechanics of Minecraft, but thanks to modernization and active development Minecraft has been absent for years," NFT Worlds said. "This is not a rewrite of some open source Minecraft version, which could infringe the EULA or even risk legal action, this is a complete rewrite from the ground up. The transition will also be accompanied by a public-facing branding change that is more player friendly."
The Future Of NFT Worlds Read our statement below through the attached Twitter thread, or here: https://t.co/w0nf1f2xxnA thread pic.twitter.com/Oy2T7oXQVgJuly 22, 2022
The game will feature an "playstyle, look, and feel" similar to Minecraft, NFT Worlds said however it will have performance optimizations, graphic enhancements and new gameplay that will deliver "a more accessible, ownable, and enjoyable playing experience." It will be free for all players, and "completely free of the policy enforcement Microsoft and Mojang have over Minecraft." In addition, it will also be compatible with older Minecraft server plugins, meaning that when the time comes to change platforms creators of content will be in a position to move without a lot of fuss and hassle.
Making a better Minecraft than Minecraft (while keeping compatibility with Minecraft) is a large undertaking, and one that I think will be a subject to immediate and severe scrutiny from Microsoft but NFT Worlds doesn't have many options. Mojang has effectively shut down its business model. secure content However, a total switching to a new game will mean that existing users and all the work they've accomplished so far will be lost. The only way to keep the wheels spinning is to develop something that is functionally Minecraft but not actually Minecraft. This isn't an easy task.
In the more immediate future, NFT Worlds said it will make changes to its launcher and play pages in order to draw new players who aren't interested in the cryptocurrency aspect. It also laid out some crucial, high-risk stakes for NFT Worlds' future as a fight for both the philosophical and technological spirit of the internet.
"Microsoft has stated that they will always act in the best interests of their shareholders and balance sheet, to the detriment of player experience, innovation and creators," NFT Worlds said. "We believe that an open, free, and a more evolved version of Minecraft that Minecraft brought to the world will be the best option for developers, creators, and ultimately gamers.
"We're fighting for a better future that is a player-owned and controlled economy, where everyone benefits from their contribution to the ecosystem. This is a massive undertaking.
I have contacted Microsoft to find out their thoughts regarding the NFT Worlds plan. I will update this post if I get a response.

This Minecraft Build is Fully Functional Wordle
Someone has created an Minecraft version of Wordle, which is a remarkable feat when you consider it. With Wordle being an integral element of morning routines for many in the last year, it was only an issue of time before someone attempted to create it in Minecraft. The amount of effort put into programming something like this, however, is awe-inspiring.
Reddit user urgle_gurgle - a stellar name - has not just been through the process of creating a functional version of Wordle in Minecraft however, but has also created it in the vanilla version of the building game. They explained how they were able to do it, and has uploaded it all to Curseforge so you can download it and play for yourself. Secure content
We regularly see cool creations in Minecraft however the skills and smarts to pull it off make it stand out. Urgle_gurgle explained that word checking was made possible by using "a bunch of maths to assign all words an unique number (inbase26) and this number will then been stored in an execute If Score command using a Python script".
The other major challenge is the requirement for a daily word. While the concept is easy to grasp, it's just not as easy for a computer, particularly not one that you need to sync with a timezone. Redditor once again came up with a method to accomplish this, much like the dinosaurs from Jurassic Park. They were able to accomplish this feat by introducing a new word that you can use whenever you play the game.
I made an entirely functional wordle in vanilla minecraft! From Minecraft
It's difficult to get your mind around if you don't program but we're grateful for it either way. In theory, you could join in fast to play a game of Wordle whenever you want to and this Minecraft build could be better than the real Wordle.

Minecraft Mod Lets you Relive Classic Harry Potter Games
Minecraft and magic have been mingled several times in recent. The most notable of those magical mashups is Spellcraft, the free DLC that adds in more than 20,000 spells and some new ways to utilize the spells. The fan-created EpicSpellsPlugin, however, is worth keeping an eye out.
We posted about this plugin in May it was quite impressive then, but development seems to have been going at a fast speed since the time we wrote about it. Morica_ from Reddit wrote in a post that they've added the ability to cast spells with no commands. Simply rename the stick "Magic Wand" and then make a sneaky entrance to draw symbols in the air.
The video demonstrates a few spells and how to bind them to different actions. It's all very mystical, which is absolutely the type of feeling that any magical item should be going for. Morica_ discusses the possibility of other features that the plugin could offer in various comments throughout the post However, one feature really stands out. Securecontent.co
When asked about the possibility to create custom spells, Morica_ replied "Yes! Although this isn't likely to happen in the next few months it is something I really want. I also code spells to ensure that they can work with premade items." This basically means that spells can be modified by using items that are already in the game. This could be the perfect way to experience Hogwarts Legacy without buying the game.

'SculptrVR' Brings 'Minecraft'-style Creation To Google Daydream
When Google's Daydream headset first came out, we praised it for its comfortable construction but were disappointed by its minimal game library. https://securecontent.co/ The platform is gradually adding new experiences, even though most of them are ports that have had success on other VR platforms. Today, Daydream got its own version of SculptrVR, a Minecraft-like world-building sandbox game which was previously released for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.
@googleVR Daydream has now added SculptrVR, which supports cross-play with PC So many voxels!https://t.co/AXRJy5Dnpl pic.twitter.com/UyuWAStj0x
- SculptrVR (@SculptrVR) March 31, 2017 It's great news if you're disappointed that Minecraft isn't coming to Daydream yet and you'd like to play with your VR-owning PC pals. Fans believe that the controller on the mobile platform isn't as agile as other VR platforms like Oculus Rift Touch. This is a shame as virtual reality allows for creative experiences to blossom. Check out Google's Tilt Brush which has received numerous updates and ports. In all cases, download SculptrVR from the Google Play store here.

If you are new To Minecraft
There's a saying that in life, you'll only get out of it what you put into it, and that's certainly applicable to this adventure. You are literally left in the middle of nowhere, with only your own wits. Beginning with, you'll pick up some wood from a tree, which you'll use to create some sticks. Then, you'll add more wood to the sticks and make the pickaxe. By using the pickaxe you can extract stone to help build a house. The game continues in this fashion. You'll spend your time exploring the surroundings and collecting the materials you can use to make what you require. You'll learn to construct more complex tools and materials, then combine them to create new, intricate creations. While it's a significant investment in time and effort it can be a source of frustration even for the most dedicated gamer. securecontent.co However, the rewards can be worthwhile. The latest version, which is available on the Nintendo Switch, includes a formidable tutorial that's likely to be a bit confusing for as many new players as it can however, in the end the best way to master Minecraft is to start playing Minecraft. If you're new to Minecraft, the Nintendo-specific touches make it easier to get used to it: The Switch edition comes with an additional Super Mario texture pack, an assortment of Super Mario skins for your characters, and a whole Super Mario-themed world to explore , with Mario themed music and huge statues of Mario himself.
Minecraft strives to be all things to all players. If you're looking for a classic gaming experience that includes heroes and villains, the Survival and Adventure modes of Minecraft provide an epic adventure in which players fight against the forces of evil while maintaining their homes. The sun sets and creepers, zombies, endermen, and other creatures emerge to attack. Players must construct strong defenses to survive the next day. For those who are less about using an arsenal and more concerned with using tools, there's Creative mode. It's basically the game's God mode which gives you all the tools in the Minecraft wheelhouse without having to be concerned about hungry mobs, hostile mobs, or other factors that could hinder your journey through the world. Players can design and test elaborate projects before sharing them with other players. Even the most recent mods, such as the Home Sweet Hmm mod, can be used to educate players about Internet safety. The mod is simple and easy to use for novice players. However, users will appreciate the fact that it's designed to entertain while also instructing. Be aware that there are many thousands of people also creating things at any time. There will be someone who has made something juvenile, obscene or offensive with the tools that can be used to recreate any game, building or other big undertaking. And unfortunately, there's no way to really know what you're getting into until you've played in a game. This is a time when parents need to be aware of what their children are doing online. Once you understand what you are doing it will be a challenge to leave your computer and not put up one more block.

So what does that Mean For Minecraft Servers?
Minecraft servers Minecraft Servers 1.14.4 so hard to find? It's easy because Minecraft 1.14 was a temporary version that was very unstable and wasn't available on all of the major servers. Most of big Minecraft servers need reliable server software that can provide 24/7 uptime and provide "good enough" performance to make the experience enjoyable for players.
Minecraft 1.14 was less than Minecraft 1.15. Minecraft 1.13 was likely to be even worse. Secure Content What does this mean for Minecraft servers? The majority of servers remained on Minecraft 1.12 However, those that upgraded to Minecraft 1.12 went straight to Minecraft 1.15.
If you go to websites for voting and search for Minecraft servers, you'll find out exactly what I'm talking about. Given that Minecraft 1.14 was prone to client side bugs and bugs, it's not necessary to use it anymore, you are likely to get the most recent Minecraft client, or at least 1.15.
If you are still insisting on using Minecraft 1.14, there is still some hope. Many Minecraft servers are now compatible with a wide range of clients. This means that you can join a 1.15 Minecraft server with 1.14 client if that's the way you'd like to go.
