Thinking about how Porco died wearing the wings of freedom on his arm instead of the Eldian armband he was forced to wear.
Tumblr media
His death was a sacrifice. His death was selfless. He died a free Eldian.

The genre of Spy x Family changes every episode and I think thats amazing, like at one point you'll be watching a romance and the next thing you know it's basically a shonen boss battle.

Sigma's Birthday should be May 4th
Lemme explain...
Tumblr media
Given that Sigma has no designated birthday I have a proposal for a birthdate (or at least a dedicated date) for him...
The greek letter sigma usually comes in two forms. Uppercase (Σ) and lowercase (σ).
Uppercase sigma (Σ) (below) in mathematics is to denote a summation/sum of a collection of numbers. But, unfortunately, there is no value typically associated with that letter.

The hypocrisy of people ignoring Zeke’s pain and reluctance on titanizing Falco to save Eren, his own little brother, is laughable lol

Where’s Eren’s body?
This question has been haunting us for a while, so this is my theory.
In ch.119 we saw Gabi shooting and Eren’s head was blown. But later we see his titan forming. It didn’t have any flesh or other traits required to look like a normal titan.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We thought that Eren might crystallize himself or somehow use the power of War Hammer, but as we see, Eren’s titan was formed from HEAD, while Lara transformed from bottom to top. This means that Eren DIDN’T use this ability of War Hammer titan and his body IS NOT in a crystal.
Tumblr media
So where’s Eren’s body? How his titan was formed? My answer is...Eren’s titan was formed AROUND his blown HEAD as Gabi said in ch.136. She also said they might see him again if they DECAPITATE him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
To prove my point, let’s look at chapters shown after Eren’s transformation. In ch.123 and ch.132 we DID see Eren’s human head. If you look closely, we see titan marks, flesh connected to his head and a hole from where Eren’s neck bones are coming. It WAS NOT his titan head, because here the picture of it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Eren’s titan got long ears, no eyebrows and scary face, while ch.132 Eren has human ears, eyebrows and normal face.
What it means? It means that Eren doesn’t have a body and if they cut him out, they will technically decapitate him👀

Ugh, effing GOD, I swear with each chapter, my hatred for Zeke grows more and more.  I’m up to 119, and the entire sequence with Falco and Colt was just... sickening.  Zeke’s really trying to act like it’s such a burden to him, to have to turn Falco into a Titan and kill Colt in the process.  It’s absolutely appalling, the way Colt pleads with Zeke to just wait until Falco is out of range before he screams, not even asking him to give up on whatever his plan is, but just asking him to wait, reminding him of the entire reason Colt agreed to inherit the Beast Titan in the first place, because he wanted to protect his family, and still, STILL, Zeke is unmoved.  But the most disgusting thing, I think, is how Zeke says to Colt, “You care for your little brother.  As do I.  So it is truly a shame.”  Alright, back up just a second here.  You know what this is?  It’s called hypocrisy folks.  This is, once again, Zeke absolving himself of his crimes by framing them as mercy.  This is, once again, Zeke installing himself as a martyr, taking on the burden of hard and painful decisions to do what’s “right”, because, you see, he’s really a hero, just doing what needs to be done to save humanity.  So even though it might seem heartless and cruel and mercenary for him to turn on all of his comrades and use them without hesitation against their wills, murder them all and leave them psychologically damaged for life, no, no, no, you’ve got it all wrong!  Zeke is doing this out of compassion!  Out of love, and care, and mercy!  See, he cares about Falco JUST AS MUCH as Colt, and he really is so sad about having to then turn Falco into a fucking Titan so he can sick him on Reiner, really very upset about literally using him as a tool to achieve his goal of him and Eren touching.  And see, because Zeke tells us he cares about Falco, we’re supposed to believe it.  And we’re supposed to believe that it’s really Zeke who’s the one actually suffering here, by having to hurt the ones he supposedly loves and cares for.  By having to kill people who trusted him and believed in him to the very end, and still, despite everything, cared for him, enough so to try and talk with him and show compassion towards him.  Because it’s all for the “greater good”.  And what is that greater good?  Oh, the euthanization of an entire race of people, that’s all!  Making sure no one can ever reproduce again so that an entire race of human beings goes literally extinct.  Deciding that the lives of entire, unborn generations are so worthless, that he should get to prevent them from even taking place.  That’s Zeke’s greater good.  Zeke is the heroic one, because he’s willing to take on the burden of this pain all by himself, the burden of stabbing every person who ever cared about him in the back, and doesn’t that just make him so special.  See, by MAKING people suffer, that’s how Zeke is going to save them from suffering!  What a genius!  What a noble, good, and kind man!  This is how he frames it.  This is how he sees himself.  He won’t just own up to the things he’s doing.  He won’t admit that they’re terrible, or define what he’s doing for what it actually is, won’t own any of it.  He redefines it all as some noble and heroic deed, frames it all as his noble and selfless sacrifice, his great gift to mankind, his generosity and kindness.  I guess him getting off on crushing people beneath boulders is just a manifestation of that kindness, huh?
Alright, I think I’m gonna puke.
This mother fucker.
Guess what?  Actions speak louder than words.  And all of Zeke’s sad frowny faces aren’t going to convince me for a second that this bitch actually cares at all, about anyone, or anything.  He’s so completely delusional, that he’s convinced himself of his own line of bullshit, that by murdering people, he’s saving them from suffering.  That he’s saving people from suffering by robbing them of their agency, their future, their lives.  And that he doesn’t actually have anything to be sorry for, because what he’s doing is mercy, and he’s the hero, because he’s the only one who can do what it takes by betraying everyone who ever gave a shit about him and believed in him.  Colt says to Zeke that “The Zeke I know would never bring children into this.”, and that reveals everything, doesn’t it?  Because, see, Zeke’s ALREADY brought children into this.  He already got two of the three warrior candidates killed in Liberio, could have and even intended to kill Gabi and Colt too, in the process, would have killed Falco, if Eren hadn’t kept him with him and Reiner in that basement.  He’s already gotten children into this by deciding that he was going to rob every future child of even being born.
The Zeke Colt knew, the Zeke Colt BELIEVED in, was a lie, and always was a lie.  He really thought, by reminding Zeke of their connection, reminding him of why he became a Warrior in the first place, reminded him of the bond they all shared, that Zeke would realize what he was doing, remember how much he cared about all of them, and stop.  But Zeke didn’t stop, didn’t even hesitate, or consider for a moment what Colt was saying or asking, because the truth about Zeke is that he’s never connected with another, single human being in his life.  He’s a severe sociopath, who feels nothing for anyone.  He just said “Oh, what a shame.”  and then turned Falco into a Titan and killed Colt on the spot.  He took the information Colt willingly shared with him about Falco ingesting his spinal fluid, and USED IT, intentionally turning Falco into a Titan then and there because he knew it would be advantageous in getting Eren to make contact with him.   It’s Zeke saying “Then it is truly a shame.” that makes me sickest of all, because once again we have Zeke acting at regret, pretending he’s sad and hurting over having to kill two children, like it’s such a burden to him to have had to do something so awful.  If you ever needed proof of Zeke’s egotism, of his utterly self-centered world view, well, here it is.  It’s his own pain that matters in this scenario, see, his own sacrifice.  It’s too bad about Falco and Colt, but I’m the one who’s truly suffering.  Fuuuuuuuck yoooooouuu Zeke.
Zeke does this shit again and again.  He did it during the battle of Shinganshina, when he killed countless soldiers, swinging wildly between uncontrollable rage and glee as he treated killing them like a game of baseball, literally using them as scapegoats for his anger at his father, to spouting off about how “sorry” he felt for the very people he was murdering, about how pitiful and sad their lives were, and how he was truly doing this for their own good, if only their little minds could comprehend his grand, genius vision.  Oh, poor Zeke, how awful the burden of uniqueness must be, to forever be so misunderstood.  Boo fucking hoo.  He did it again in the forest with Levi, after turning 30 soldiers into Titans and musing to himself about how deeply he regretted having to do it, how he didn’t want to, but how he had no choice, because Levi could “never understand” him, while in the next breath mocking them and Levi, bragging about how there wasn’t even a fight, laughing about it and weaponizing it in an attempt to hurt Levi even further.  And he does it again here, claiming he cares about Falco, and then turning him into a Titan and using him as a tool.  This guy is the biggest, most shameless hypocrite in the history of ever.  Everything, and I mean everything out of his mouth is a lie and a manipulation.  Doubletalk and deflection and delusion.  He doesn’t mean anything he says, other then his obvious, deluded belief in himself as some kind of uniquely special hero who’s going to save the world through his brilliant understanding of all it’s problems.  Even if he has to create those problems himself, apparently.
I just can’t with this guy.  I can’t.  His sense of self-aggrandizement, delusions of grandeur and self-centered egotism, coupled with the obvious pleasure he takes in hurting others, makes him a rank piece of trash.  I don’t care what anyone says.  That’s what he is.

this is how i think season 4 part 1 should end
manga spoilers under the cut
it’s not gonna end like this because there’s no way they can get to this point in 2 episodes but this is nice to think about
chapter 119; after the whole fight right when gabi shoots eren’s head off, you hear the gun shot and then everything just goes silent, all you see is eren’s body slowly falling to the ground and his head flying and zeke’s hand outstretched as far as it can go.
eren’s head falls into zekes hand and the centipede comes out and the screen flashes white to black or whatever, and the outro starts playing in the background while the screen and we transitions from black to the sand of paths by the camera spanning up until we see eren’s feet and the paths tree thing, eren standing in front of it and this imagery specifically;
Tumblr media
while we here the outro shock by yuko playing in the background and then the episode ends
TELL ME THAT WOULDNT BE SO FIRE????

“Better Man to the End”
Out of all the SnK deaths, Porco Galliard’s is definitely one of the most memorable to me. Before being eaten by Falco, Porco said to Reiner: “So now I know for certain, I was the better man to the end.” As expected of Porco, he didn’t forget to put down Reiner even before death. But Porco definitely didn’t mean what he said. He didn’t crawl out of his titan to prove that he’s “the better man,” that he’s more noble and more ready for self-sacrifice.
After seeing his brother’s memories, Porco perhaps finally understood how much he owes Reiner. If Reiner hadn’t been chosen to inherit the armored titan, it would be Porco who’s sent to Paradis, Porco who’s traumatized and mentally torn apart by his experience there, Porco who’s tormented and guilt-laden for murdering the innocents, and Porco who only has two years left to live. But Reiner took the bullet for him; and in chapter 119, Porco paid Reiner back with his own death.
But since it’s Porco we’re talking about here, like hell he’d say something like “Reiner, thank you for taking the bullet for me,” or “Reiner, sorry to have put you through all that suffering”; so instead we get a line like “I was the better man to the end.” I think it could also be Porco’s way of trying to make Reiner not feel bad. The subtext of Porco’s line is, “I’m doing this to prove that I’m better, I’m not doing this for you, Reiner – so don’t you feel guilty over my death.” After all, although Porco acts tough, he has a kind heart.

SnK 125: Mikasa’s Question
I’m seeing several posts claiming that Mikasa asking about Eren in SnK 125 is somehow “character devolution” or that Mikasa has somehow regressed into tunnel vision on Eren’s safety and nothing else. This could not be further from the truth.
Because, unlike in her youth, “what about Eren?” isn’t a worried afterthought about one soldier’s wellbeing.
Now, it’s the question that everyone’s avoiding.
Tumblr media
Ever since SnK 112, everyone except for Mikasa has caped for Eren in some way or another—whether it manifest as Armin being unable to grapple with the idea that his childhood best friend could commit these atrocities, or as Jean and Connie begrudgingly wanting to see the best in a comrade and friend they thought they’d grown to know.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
During all of these exchanges, and over the course of these chapters, Mikasa hardly participates—she observes. She sometimes asks questions that challenge their beliefs. Pieces are slowly coming together for her, and she undergoes a powerful inner struggle as she tries to process her past traumas and what she’s unfortunately always known about Eren, in a more plain light than anyone.
Contrary to everyone’s claims, I’d argue that Mikasa is the one framing the conversation, for lack of better phrase, in terms of “Eren the Destroyer” rather than “Eren, our friend”. Mikasa is the one who acknowledges him as the immediate threat of genocide he is—whereas Armin’s reaction and his actions thus far suggest that he’s the one struggling to separate their personal relationship to Eren from the issue at hand. Mikasa’s question to him is more than “how do we stop the apocalypse”—it becomes a hard-to-cope-with question about what this means for their childhood friend and for all three of them.
Tumblr media
Additionally, unlike everyone else avoiding the question either out of sheer hopelessness or because they don’t want to answer it, Mikasa is the only one who seems to believe it’s even possible to stop the rumbling. She’s the only one who doesn’t see him—or the planet—as a lost cause, and focuses on stopping the crisis rather than picking up the pieces afterwards.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Her clarity and ability to assess the situation is as important as her attention to Eren has been.
For much of her life, and with no small amount of difficulty and heartache, she has been preoccupied with keeping Eren alive, struggling with his mortality. With the painful idea that Eren is not unbeatable. And, even in this outrageously powerful, virtually omnipotent state... I guarantee she still sees his mortality, like she always has.
As the only player on the board that he can’t control, this matters more than he could bargain for.

AoT Falco titan form 119-129 character analysis.
Tumblr media
Remember when I once wrote a character analysis about little Falco and the meaning of his titan form on chapter 119?
I want to share this again and also share my thoughts for his new Titan form.
Falco was the first one introduced to us when the Marley Arc began in the manga and now he is also the first character we see in s4 trailer along with the falcon that is flying around the battlefield.
I remember when I first saw his form on 119, I was observing it to understand what kind of emotions and thoughts Isayama wanted to evoke to us through that. What came to my mind was, that chapter 119 is so brutal, it shows how unfair war is and how people abandon their humanity, going beyond their limits in order to accomplish something with brutal actions. Zeke's action towards the Grice brothers was so unfair just as war is. It makes you think why? why it had to happen like this? War defiles everything that is pure and beautiful, what Zeke did to little Falco, was the most monstrous thing. After Colt's heartbreaking words, Zeke didn't spare the life of these two children that in their hearts had him as their mentor. Falco turned into something so ugly, that at first glance you cannot even find the words to describe it. That's what war is doing, sully the beautiful. While observing this form, it reminded me of an infant bird without grown feathers. A symbolism of the first panels in the Marley Arc, the falcon flying and little Falco lying injured in the battlefield talking to it to fly far away from danger. Even his name has the meaning falcon. If you notice, little Falco never hesitated to go in the battlefield to help others. In this new chapter, he also aimed to the battlefield to help and now that he controls the Jaw Titan, his form is more of a Griffin. Galliard's form was more of a Lion and Falco's mindless titan was more of an infant bird. But Falco having control of the Jaw Titan, his form now is built for battle, a Lion-Eagle, that's what a Griffin is. A Lion's attitude would be described as rampant, a Griffin's is instead described as sergeant. The Griffin indicates a combination of intelligence and strength, fighting with courage and boldness.
