Rain's teaching Cloud how to whittle, starting off easy Rain drew up a stencil of a dog for Cloud to follow.

"Be sure to cut with the grain... Or this happens." Because Rain can rough out models quite quickly, there's no problem with sacrificing his model to demonstrate what happens when going against the grain. One cut and -snap!- the head of his model flies off leaving a clean, horizonal cut right through his model.

Like for like; a lesson in exchange for another, though it would seem that Rain wasn't really keeping his end of the bargain here to which Cloud would offer his mild displeasure with a squint.

A low sigh while he would motion his hands to form specific shapes and movements as he spoke.

"Okay I get that, but you need to keep using your signs even if you're able to speak, alright? You'll learn faster."

Though one Cloud Strife could probably speak for himself here... where SSL came almost as second nature - hopefully to be used in the near future to give Rain's poor throat a much needed rest when the days were particularly hard - the art of wood crafting certainly did not. Needless to say, even with Rain's very careful and thorough instruction this was a lot harder than his brother made it look.

Four attempts; two which looked like little more than sausages on exceptionally stumpy legs, and the third practically obliterated due to the merc's own frustration. This one looked... somewhat like the blueprint.

Cloud hated it, hated that he wasn't getting this straight away, nor was he really enjoying how hard this actually was on the hands. He'd always thought himself quite strong; certainly not a lie, but the depth of delicacy needed for this was a concept he was struggling to grasp, and it showed in the defeated downward tug to his mouth as he presented his 'dog' (though truth be told it looked more like a rat, one that had been carved by a man wearing a blindfold... with a spoon, while he was on fire.) to his mentor, placing it down on the makeshift workbench they'd claimed.

He didn't speak, a little fearful that his tone would sound much sharper than it probably should, and he chose to just use his hands instead.

'I don't think this is for me.'

Apropos of nothing

If you are the techiest person in the house (and for many of you, this is not techy at all), today is a good day to build a pihole thanks to Google's new TLDs.

For the record, this straight up stopped Dad from getting computer viruses when coupled with the Ublock browser extension, so I will volunteer my time to get you set up. We will find an evening and do a Zoom call. I am serious.

Prerequisities:

Before you start, this will be way way easier if your router has a magic way to:

Set static IP addresses

Set a custom DNS server

If you can't do this, I'm not saying you're stuck, but there's some non-obvious failure modes and maybe it's time to buy a better router.

Parts:

Raspberry Pi 4B. 2GB if you just want to set and forget, 8GB if you want to do more things on this than just your pihole (Coughs in a MarioKart box) -> https://www.raspberrypi.com/products/raspberry-pi-4-model-b/

Some method of flashing the card if you don't have one (Some come with SD to micro-SD adapters, if not a USB to SD/micro-SD adapter is about $10 off Amazon)

If you really feel like going nuts, go buy yourself an Argon case and then very very carefully never ever install the software for the fan that does nothing. The value is entirely in having a big giant brick that is self-cooling. Setup:

Do yourself a favor and ignore all the signs telling you to go get Raspbian and instead go grab an ISO of Ubuntu 64-bit using RPi Imager. Because Raspbian cannot be upgraded across version WHY U DO THIS

Download Rpi Imager, plug the microSD card into your computer,

Other General Purpose OS -> Ubuntu -> Ubuntu 22.04 LTS

So now you have an operating system on an SD card.

Assemble the case if you bought one, plug in the SD card, power supply, ethernet cable if you have one or mouse and (mini) HDMI cable if you don't. If you bought that Argon case, you can just plug a keyboard (server OS means no mouse gang; In this house, we use the Command Line) and HDMI cable into the Pi. Turn it on.

Gaining access

The end state of this is that your pi is:

Connected to the internet by cable or wifi

You can SSH to it (Also not scary)

If you plugged in an ethernet cable, once it's done booting (1-2 minutes?), you should be able to ssh to "ubuntu@<the IP of the system>". Look it up in your router. It may make sense to give the static IP NOW to keep it stable.

If you've never used SSH before, I think the standard is Putty on Window or you can just open a terminal in Mac. (And if you know enough Linux to have a Linux computer, why are you reading this?)

If you didn't plug it in, and need to setup the wifi, there's magic incantations to attach it to the wifi and to be quite blunt, I forget what they are.

Your username is ubuntu, your password is ubuntu and then it will ask you to make a new password. If you know the meaning of the phrase "keypair-based access", it may make sense to run `ssh-copy-id` at this point in time.

Router settings (part 1)

Give your new Pi a static IP address, and reboot your pi (as simple as typing in `sudo reboot`).

Open a new SSH session to the pihole on the new address.

Installing pihole

Open up an SSH session and

curl -sSL https://install.pi-hole.net | bash

This is interactive. Answer the questions

When it's done, on your other computer, navigate to <the ip>/admin

Login with the password you just set. Router settings part 2

Give your new Pi a static IP address then point your router at that address

Set the DNS servers to the static IP

Then ensure you're blocking something. Anything.

Then do what you want to do. You'll probably need to whitelist some sites, blacklist some more, but the main thing is going to be "Adding more list of bad sites". Reddit has some lists.

And... enjoy.

I have wanted to draw this pose ever since I saw the movie. This was the perfect opportunity. I really wanted to draw something that made me feel calm and happy. This is the result.

Soft heels pad across a midnight-cast rooftop, the loud boisterous sounds of the party fading into the background like sun setting below the horizon.

The air is moist and thick with spring-time mildew. It sticks to the ground, making everything wet, and layering the world in a slight chill.

The pair sit down on the edge of the rooftop and the taller of the two smiles. "Thanks for stepping away from your own party for me," he says, fingers playing with a brightly colored gift in his lap.

A wave of a hand and a snort, "You know I never mind Shige. Besides," he leans foreword, eyeing the gift with sparkling blue eyes, "I see you have something for me~?"

Shigeo nods and passes the gift over, the corner of his eyes crinkling in amusement, but barely visible in the dark blue of midnight. "I do. Happy Birthday, Teru," he leans over, giving him a soft kiss on the cheek.

Teru (even after all these years) blushes, waving his hands up and down as he takes the gift. "Ahh stop it you!" He places the gift in his lap, blue eyes softening. He stares down at it and then tilts his head up, looking out at the night sky in front of them.

After a few more seconds of pause, he finally says, "You know. If it's okay... can I open it later?"

"Of course. You probably know what it is anyway, you did give me a list."

A boisterous laugh escapes his lips, which then slides like melting ice into a soft smile. He sets the gift to the side and scoots closer, intertwining their hands as he nestles his head on his husbands shoulder. "Honestly... I love parties, but I love just sitting here with you just as much. It's a really beautiful night."

Shigeo tilts his head down, rubbing his face into blonde hair. "Mmm. I like it too."

A breeze picks up, ruffling their clothes, the scent of wet concrete tickling their noses. Cars drive past below, rumbling in and out of sight.

Even deep in the city, the sounds of crickets in a nearby park float aimlessly through the breeze, filling the edges of the sounds.

The tranquility is broken by thumping footsteps and a door swinging open loudly, startling to two as they turn towards the sound.

"Birthday Boy!!" Shou yells, "Stop smooching and get down here for you cake!!"

Teru glares, "Shou, I was just enjoying a moment, how do you always know when to ruin it..."

A shrug, "Eh, I just have amazing timing like that."

Ritsu also pops his head out the door, hand already on Shou's collar, "I can give you guys 10 minutes, but if you don't come down by then this," he shakes Shou, "is going to eat your cake."

Shigeo lets out a breathy laugh, "Thanks Ritsu. We'll be back down soon."

Ritsu nods, pulling Shou away as the other yelps in frustration.

Teru tries to keep on his annoyed face but it dissolves into a cracked smile as he leans back into Shigeo's shoulder. "He's such a dork."

Shigeo answers with a hum, pressing close.

Even in the city, the stars are visible, dancing above them in a quiet hum. A far off symphony that they cannot hear but the light sings like strings reverberating through the night. Mixing with the low drone of the city, an ambient tranquility that rests light on their shoulders.

Shigeo squeezes their intertwined fingers. "Happy Birthday, Teru."

Partly due to a slew of posts you made a while back and partly because my hobby-motivation is creeping back to me, I am considering making myself a little webbed site to keep my art on and id like to ask: Is there any particular reason you chose neocities specifically to build your weasel nest on? As opposed to whatever else is out there? (LOVE ur site btw)

Thank you!! Let’s see. Reasons:

- VERY easy to navigate for an amateur. Love the drag-in file directory. It’s just like the free host I used when I was a kid! And the coding client points out simple errors, so that’s helpful.

- Lots of hosts are oriented toward businesses and building fucking. Web stacks. Kyle Drake markets Neocities as an infinite canvas for non-commercial expression, and there’s no plugins or security to juggle. I didn’t even need to buy an SSL certificate!!!!!! I HATE BUYING SSL CERTIFICATES

- It’s the only host I can think of that still does the “check out what other sites we host” thing. The modest community aspects of Neocities make it a great scrolling replacement for social media. Massages my gray matter. Plus you can follow sites you like!

- It’s Free. If I sucked at it, I could just log off.

Overall the answer is: because it’s a gentle transition away from dumbed-down internet! Easy to handle, forgiving to learn on, and won’t give you “like” button withdrawals.

There’s other indie hosts, if you wanna look into something more DIY— Kalechips made a list that I found pretty enlightening. So far I have limited but decent experience with Namecheap and AwardSpace.

ok, here is ida. i draw her based on the old player model but in the new player model she looks a bit different. I use this chunky highlight hair because it somewhat hides the fact that her ears stick out now when wearing a hat/helmet (this pisses me off the most about the new characters). but she used to have this black hair, and of course dark eye makeup. it's a lot like what i do irl

Ida Riverwood! I don't ever want to change it. I actually really like it and I'm surprised my kid self was smart enough to choose that

you can kinda see how i dress her in those pics of her, usually a dark color scheme and yes I coordinate it with the horse. I actually dress her in a lot of sweaters and typically with proper breeches and tall boots and helmet as if it were a regular english outfit irl. I occasionally dress her and her horse in western gear, or use streetwear if she's off the horse

23. Which Druid Circle do you prefer? Is there a reason for your preference? Is it tied to the Soul Rider of the Circle?

you may be surprised, but I like the moon circle just a smidgen more than the sun circle, though they are in close competition. I just love the aspects of both of them, visions & teleportation. I find it so interesting and quite applicable to real life, at least personally, because of how I experience life with PTSD. it is easy to convey my mind through comics about the powers of these circles.

20. What part of the Main Story is your favorite?

oh my, if you can count the storyline in SSL as a predecessor to SSO, i would say Anne's first trip to Pandoria to save Concorde. in SSO, it's surprising but seeing Anne without saving her must have been my favorite. I was disappointed with the actual saving Anne quest, but seeing Pandoria for the first time in SSO was an experience I won't forget, even though I prefer the atmosphere of Pandoria in SSL

11. How many horses do you own in total? Did it use to be more, or are you still missing a few?

oh my. 64. I once sold the green whinfell because i found it so ugly. But I felt so bad and rebought it a year or two ago.

What does your Starter Horse look like? What did you name it, and did you ever change that name?

his looks are based on my imaginary heart horse since i was a kid. i saw a "black" horse with brown hair on a family trip to england and scotland when i was like 11 or something and my brain chemistry changed. i felt a huge bond to this horse i met for 1 minute on the side of the road. back then, i made a hobby horse based on that horse (sadly dont think anyone ever took a photo of it, the time before smartphones....) the only major thing different about his sso version to my brain version is that he has some kind of white face mark, but im not rly sure still what the mark looks like.

he didnt really have a name tho. i cant remember if i ever gave the hobby horse version a name or not. when i joined sso (as a random "lol ill try out this silly kids game" moment and didnt know i would actually keep playing) and had to decide a name for him, i went with Winterborn bc i love the winter and it just sounded pretty, and i wouldnt change it now, i think, esp bc i also tied it into his story (foal found alone freezing to death in the winter and getting rescued to south hoof). but i have other names for other versions of my heart horse, in other games and stuff. some other ones attached to it is Evening Star, Starlight....

Which Soul Rider is your Favorite, and is there a reason behind it?

basically linda just bc i like her colour scheme and that shes a geek and has glasses. i think in ssl lisa might be my favourite, shes okay in sso too but theyre just all so cardboardy that theres not much to talk about. anne and alex share the last place (im sorry.....) not for any particular reason, except that i generally lean more towards non-blond characters due to sweden trauma agsdjfds

The After Stories

So I was musing to myself about how I thought narratively the Soul Riders were most likely to be set up as more cyclical characters for what I think the next major story arc is most likely to be, what I called the Witch Wars arc in this ask response, and I ended up doing more than the Soul Riders, so I figured I'd share those thoughts.

I'll start with the Soul Riders since I've put the most thought into their arcs, also they're the most important characters right now, so it makes the most sense. I really only think one of the Soul Riders should be in the next story arc as a major character, for a number of reasons, though I doubt that'll be the case. I'm also following the assumption that, based on what we've been told in plot about severing the connection between Pandoria and Jorvik meaning the Soul Riders will lose their powers, that after Garnok is defeated, the connection Aideen created with Pandoria is cut and they don't have magic, or they only have whatever magic is left.

Easiest first, Lisa. I think Lisa is going to return to her music career and take time to recover. Personally, I think the writers need a step back from Lisa. She went from being what I had always thought was the leader of the group in SSL (and in the books) to her country redesign and her being largely the party healer. And I think there is a really good story arc to have there. Not to lean into the trope that metal and rock are symbolic of rebellious phases, but I think there's a story you can tell about the eras of Lisa's music genres being reflections of her stages of grief, the more punk genres being her rage followed by her return to country music as acceptance, a connection with her mother, and a way to maintain that connection as she processes that grief. I think a lot of folks will conflate stadium & pop country with classic country music which does also hold a lot of punk values which sets her up for a return, but I also think a step back from Lisa post all of the crazy would give her time to recover and take that symbolism and make it material. So I think she should take a more minor role in the next story arc.

Second easiest, Linda should not be a major player in the Witch Wars arc. Firstly, Linda is arguably the Soul Rider we've spent the most time with. It makes sense why, she's an easy lore dump character, but that also is a reason why in it of itself. If Linda is always our source of worldbuilding, there isn't an opportunity for other characters to provide information that feels relevant, and also it takes that opportunity away from the player character to discover in their own exploration. But the biggest reason I think is that Linda has probably had the least amount of time to pursue her own personal goals. There is absolutely a story there to tell about how major achievement is a personal scale, you don't need to achieve the world in order to be successful, but I don't think that's a story SSO will tell and it also falls a little flatter when Linda is part of the team that did save the world from Garnok. But comparably, Linda has the least amount of achievement to her name. Like, imagine being able to see the future, not to mention be unquestionably intelligent, with very clear goals of going to university and pursuing your interests and expanding your skills as a writer, saving the world and then watching all of your friends' dreams of reality come true. Visions made material. Lisa's music career, Anne's success as a dressage rider, a model, going on to be a vet, Alex being set up to take over a culturally significant organization (which I'll come back to), and you. Seeing all of it, and never getting there. And then the visions start to go away. There was already the moral question of could Linda use her powers to cheat, not that she would, but I imagine the guilt of the idea probably prevented her from pursuing entry exams because, she could. See the future to see the exam answers to study perfectly. And the fear of it prevents her from applying. And now her powers are leaving, she has the chance to be honest about it again. To provide she was more than her role as the Moon Soul Rider. She deserves to take it and come back to the story a more fulfilled person.

Alex has a good opportunity to be semi-present. She has been set up to take Elizabeth's place and with the defeat of Garnok, there's finally enough breathing room to do so. Yes, I'm sure the druids will be thrown into more ordeals with the fallout of their magic, which leads into the Witch Wars and pursuing answers there, but someone has to take up the mantle now that the chaos of Garnok is passed. And we were told that was Alex. It's a huge responsibility shift for her too, one she's going to have to learn on the job. I'm sure she'll receive help but it's not like she can go to school for how to be the leader of a magical organization. And it's not like her predecessor is there to guide her. There's also the existing tradition that she's breaking by taking Elizabeth's place as the Lightning Soul Rider becoming the Keeper's leader, where the Sun Soul Rider would normally take that place. But these are unprecedented times, the druids are losing a major part of their magic, so maybe it's time for a change. I think that sets Alex up well to be both present in the story, as the leader of the druids supporting us, the PC, going to learn more about witch magic to help the druids, but also take a step back. She has to stay in Valedale now, be a present leader and coordinator. But of course, it's Alex, she's bound to show up for big confrontations.

Which leaves Anne as the last Soul Rider. And I think she remains present. She's the Soul Rider we got the least amount of time with, but she also has the least reason to settle down. She still has a lot of grief to process from her imprisonment. And, as I said in my last post, I don't think we will kill the Generals. They might die in losing Garnok as like, their life source, but I don't think we will kill them directly. I'll get more into them later, but at the very least, I think Darko survives and Sands dies. And that right there sets Anne up perfectly. In a post Garnok world, in a world without magic, and the man chiefly responsible for her imprisonment is still out there. If anyone is going to be desperate for her magic back, it's Anne. There is still an angry part of her that cannot rest, and so when magic starts to fade and the PC pursues answers with the witches, Anne is right there. Not to mention, if we do get a new quadrant of the map, portal magic would be great for teleporting in and then reconnecting physically after main story shenanigans through North Link. But particularly after we've seen Anne proving she's not only back, but she's among some of the most powerful Sun Soul Riders in history, losing that would be devastating. Anne pursues answers about magic, and is our primary ally moving forward from the original cast.

Also in all of this, the Guardians. We don't know if in losing their Soul Rider powers the Guardians survive (I think they will), but we don't know if the Soul Riders will be able to talk to them. Like does Aideen's Gift maintain itself. Of all the Soul Riders, Anne probably has the most experience of not being able to talk to her horse, and so I see her thriving in this condition of still being able to connect with Concorde in a way none of the other Soul Riders can because of her time working with Concorde as a foal. And I see that causing a rift with the Soul Riders too as suddenly Anne is the odd man out again, and now that their grief in losing that particular connection is broken, there is some true feelings coming out about how they expect Anne to help in a way she only ever got resistance or correction for feeling with Concorde.

Quick ones off the list next:

Fripp goes to sleep. I don't know if he dies, I think he probably like. Does whatever Aideen did and fades into the magic of the world. I think he comes back, but without the connection to Pandoria, he can't maintain his consciousness without more magic. It also gets him off the table for the same reasons I think Linda should back seat, he knows too much and that takes away from the player's ability to discover.

Avalon dedicates himself to supporting Alex in taking over the leadership role. He's more confident now and speaks up for her against the rest of the council and commits himself as her primary ally and mentor within the druids.

Evergray is going back to the North with us. Without a connection to Pandoria, he is still a magic researcher. Possibly even tasked with finding another connection back to Pandoria, which leads to whatever he was doing in the North. He also has the most connection with witches there.

Rhiannon is also going back to the North. She's a Warden, she knows more about magic outside of the Circles from her proximity to the witches, and the Wardens aren't, kinda aren't, are something other than druids. Not to mention, if the connection with Pandoria cuts off magic and possibly losing Aideen's Gift, Rhiannon is the most set up to help reestablish this connection. I think it will, it's Aideen's Gift to Jorvik, it was her own magic, but there's a plot there to connection with the Wardens.

Ydris leaves. I know he's the game's Internet sexy man, but we've honestly seen very little of him since Fripp's recovery and we know his goal is to save his home. If the connection is broken, Ydris goes home to Pandoria. He can return in a later arc, with I think what would be fitting, a redesign of his original model since time is soup there, but I see very little for him to do in a witch arc unless he can't make it back home, which does have potential in him being a begrudging ally as he's made like. Semi-human from being cut off from Pandoria.

Mrs. Holdsworth and Sive are obvious, it's called the Witch Wars arc, they would be joining as major characters. Great opportunity too to introduce Marzipan from concept work from forever ago here as our young witch companion.

I think Justin should get a baby arc just to give him a better ending. He should go train with the Wild Whispers before going to train with Herman.

Speaking of Herman, he comes back briefly because his brother, Coyote, is in northwest Jorvik, so that gives us a connection into the not magic stories and exploring the cities there. Also, that sets up CHILL to come in with GED and we can have that semi-mundane arc too.

On to bad guys!

GED first, there's no reason why these guys wouldn't be back or even thriving without DC competing with them. They're low stakes bad guys, they've been basically run out of southwest Jorvik, they're very likely to be back in a new region.

I already said it, Mr. Sands dies. Look, his wife is dead, the devil he made a pact with dies, and he was human. There is no reason that he survives unless we get the redemption arcs I've discussed before happen, which are not remotely set up in the story. The man is death flagged, I don't make the rules. Turns to dust, bye.

Darko survives. I think having Darko be less present now means he can be set up to do the whole take over the vacuum when Sands is gone. Maybe he sees the writing on the wall, this is a kids' game and Garnok is going to lose. So he stops trying to go for Sands and bides his time. And when that happens, guess who steps in. A magic inventor with the remnants of resources to continue to be a problem and no competition anymore to do so. The rest of DC is goons, now he gets to horde a black market of magic to himself. DC dissolves, all the assets relocated before charges could be pressed. No charges to press on a dissolved company, the leading members of the board dead in a freak accident of their own making, there's no one there to hold responsbile. And Darko wasn't a General, he was just their inventor, conveniently missing from records, assumed dead, ready to be a main antagonist in the next arc under a new evil corporation.

I don't think all the Dark Riders die. The least likely is Erissa. She has gone through so many iterations just to finally get released, Erissa survives. Escapes capture even. Blends in, disappears, starts whispering into powerful ears. She becomes a problem. She also looks like a kid, they're not going to kill her for a slew of age rating reasons.

Because that's the thing, the Dark Riders aren't human. They're different kinds of aliens, by our best guesses. From different worlds too. Katja's ice world and Sabine's dark star are not the same places. If anyone survives the break from the pact with Garnok, it's these four.

Jessica is iffy, she is arguably the least developed. Of any of the Dark Riders to team up with Darko, I see it being Jessica. She reads as having a need for control, and suddenly cut off from her magic, either from being more injured than the others or the loss of the portals powered by Pandoria's magic, I think a reluctant deal with Darko for some scraps of magic to survive, that's where Jessica lands.

Katja leaves. She does not care about people. Of anyone in the story to become a permanent cryptid, it's Katja. She just goes back to being the Ice Witch of Icendell, if not through that portal. She's here because of her pact with Garnok, I see no reason for her to stay. She isolates herself until she can recover enough power to be a menace again.

Sabine is difficult but I see her as the character the community most wants to have a redemption arc (for various reasons), as well as the story setting up the most for a redemption arc, but I don't know if SSO would go there. Sabine has a riding club, she's made connections, however trivial to her now, on Jorvik. And something else, she's discovered a new kind of power, one she could never possess on her Dark Star home. People, control over people, working together to achieve more power. There is no civilization to control back home, it's a world of beasts, hunters, predators, there is no civilization, nothing to control, just survival. There are here. And so while I see her probably still being fairly narcissistic about it, I also see a story where Sabine recognizes that she can only have that kind of authority if she protects this new home. Very Greed from FMA kind of character twist. So she is a partial ally then, but it opens the door for more opportunities of, maybe not altruism, but more potential for good.

What is daemonism?

Daemonism is a form of thought that assigns a "name & face" to a portion of your internal dialogue. The practice was inspired by Philip Pullman's "His Dark Materials" series. You're basically creating an animal buddy in your head that is supposed to help you improve mentally/motivate you.

Where do I find more resources?

There is a very small community on Tumblr that is frequently overshadowed by other plurals like parogens and the DID community. There is nothing wrong with this! We just have to look a little harder.

There are a few Discord communities you can find, as well as an online forum with a ton of useful info (https://daemonpage.com/forum/). I can't recommend it enough. They do have a scary disclaimer when you go to make an account about liability related to hacking, but rest assured the site is SSL secured and all data stored should be encrypted (i asked the devs).

What's your daemon(s)? Why is this called the Forsythe Dichotomy?

I am still in the process of determining my daemon's form, so I don't have an answer for that yet!

This Tumblr is called the Forsythe Dichotomy because it's a nice combination of a family name and an applicable word since I only desire to have one daemon. Therefore, it's like splitting into two parts (dichotomy).

Translation of Saitou’s story in the new Switch SSL Booklet

Note: This is the third story in the booklet that comes with the Switch Hakuouki SSL special edition. Miki Saburou got mentioned in this story. @kumoriyami-xiuzhen, as promised, this is the translation.

Hajime Saitou

This was the story set in the next semester when the school was still unaware about Yukimura Chizuru and Saitou Hajime becoming a couple during Valentine Day.

 It happened right when spring started, and Chizuru became a second-year student.

She wanted to ease even if it is just a little bit the responsibility of Saitou who is a third year student and about to take the university entrance test if possible, after school, in the science experiment room, she expressed her feelings honestly.

“I am thinking about becoming a discipline committee member. If I can become one, I will be able to help ease the responsibility of Saitou-san even if it just a little bit…”

“Chizuru. At school, you shouldn’t use my name and you also need to call me senpai.”

“Ah…Ok. I want to do it for Saitoi-senpai too…”

“Hn, hm. Is that so? But Yukimura…though I will be saying it once more, I think you shouldn’t do it.”

“Why?”

“In order to protect the rules, a discipline committee member’s responsibility is to check when a student break the rules. Because of that, it is not uncommon for us to be shunned by people.”

“That might be the case but…Kaoru is also doing it.”

“Nagumo…how to put it, he seems to be taking fun in it. It is fine if you think you are not able to do it like that. Furthermore, at our school there is an overwhelming number of male students. Because you are a girl, won’t you find it hard admonish them.”

“It is true, that it can be like that….”

In response to Chizuru who is losing her prior spirit and is becoming slightly dispirited, Saitou gently said.

“I am happy that you feel this way. However, I think that I will probably be fine with my discipline committee member’s responsibility. It is likely that in this school year, because Nagumo will become a discipline committee member, I am certain that he will be the next in line to replace me as head of the discipline committee. If that happen…”

“That, too!”

Chizuru voice interrupted what Saitou was saying.

“I think that if Kaoru become the head of the discipline committee, it will be unfortunate. Do you remember what happened during Valentine day? It is obvious that he abused his power in such a way for his interests!”

“I also admit that is true but…when it comes to me, Kaoru strays from that.”

“That is true. However, at the school, I am looking hard for some like that. Hijikata sensei is also doing that.”

“However, it is not because of Kaoru that I am bothering Saitou senpai who is in your third year. If I am able to shoulder even just a little bit of your responsibilities so that senpai can give undivided attention to club activities and studying for the university entrance examination…”

Seeing that Chizuru was speaking so worriedly, Saitou smiled slightly and answered.

“I am sorry for making you worried about me to that point. However, you don’t have to go that far and become a disciple committee member. It is because even now, you are helping me like this…. By the way…what Nagumo thinks about us…”

“Of course, because we don’t say anything, he doesn’t know anything about us yet!”

“Is, is that so…If that is the case, it is great…”

Chizuru and Saitou looked at each other’s face and smiled bitterly.

If Kaoru knew about the relationship between the two of them, it was not hard to imagine that something awful was going to happen.

If that happened, Kaoru would go from considering Saitou as a senpai to be respect to an existence that he would want to get rid of so just thinking about what would happen after made them want to avoid it at all costs.

Because this is my last as I become a third-year student, I want no matter what to leave behind a good result. Because Souji and Heisuke are also with me, we undoubtedly will be able to get far.”

“This year, you will be able to win the tournament, right, hmmm, Itou sensei’s brother also participates…”

“Yeah, Miki Saburou leading Goryoueji high school…”

Goryoueji high school.

This is the rival of the kendo club of Hakuouki Academy and frequently participates in athletic competitions between schools.

 Miki Saburou who is a third-year student and the head of the club is the biological younger brother of Kashitarou Itou, the music teacher of Hakuouki Academy.

“This year, Goryouenji High School is strong. It is because Miki as head and Shinohara and Hattori… are equal to a thousand warriors.”

“If it is Saitou senpai…If it is this year third-year students, you can definitely win.”

“Yes, I will do my best.”

“…Yes!”

At Chizuru’s delighted reply, Saitou also nodded in approval and answered.

“Now.. Our talk has unintentionally become very long. So, Yukimura, how about…cleaning up the work of the discipline committee?”

Seeing that Chizuru kept on looking at him, Saitou stopped.

“Uhmmm… Before we start doing club activities, I have a request… Can we call each other like before…?”

“A,ahhh… But… We are still on the campus…”

“But, there are only two of us at the moment… Only for now…”

“Ye, yes… Nobody is here, if only…for now.”

“Chi…chizuru.”

“Yes… Hajime san.”

While these two were gazing at each other and called each other name…

 “Saitou senpai, you are at a place like this? I am looking…, why is Chizuru here?”

 The person who opened the door and entered was Nagumo Kaoru.

Realizing that two of them were here, Kaoru approached Chizuru with an awfully menacing attitude.

“Ye, yes…Before we come to the kendo club, we have a little…”

“Nagumo. Did you have some business with me?”

“A, ah, Hijikata called you. I came here to tell you about it. So, Chizuru. Even when it is Saitou senpai, you shouldn’t often stay alone with a male student.”

After leaving that remark, Kaoru turned on his heels and left the classroom.

After making sure that his form could no longer be seen, Saitou and Chizuru exchanged looks and said quietly.

“Go ahead to do the club activity. As soon as I am done, I will head there…Chizuru.”

“…Yes, Hajime san!”

After answering, Chizuru hid away her joy and left the classroom.

Saitou, who stayed in that place, started to prepare for cleaning the work of the discipline committee.

Hi! I want to get closer to Radiohead sound. I have a 50's Stratocaster with SD SSL pickups. Is it really necessary to change pickups to Lace Sensors (Blue, Silver, Red)? Also can you suggest kinda universal amp (I don't care if it's gonna be SS or Tube) and most important pedals to get almost every RH tone?

I understand why you want an easy answer. But you're asking about the sound of three guitarists, each with a totally distinctive playing style, over the course of three decades. On our site you can find hundreds of pieces of gear, some used by one member of the band on only a single studio recording, and replicated live with different gear. If anything gives Radiohead a "sound", it's their approach to songwriting and arrangement. Or to be flippant: it's modal mixture, especially the shift between major and minor, plus some sliding delay effects.

I can't give you advice unless you listen to the band and decide what you like. To start, decide if you prefer Ed's atmospheric style, Thom's rhythmic style, or Jonny's melodic style. Then look through the artist pages (in the sidebar of our site), and search for the songs with your favorite sounds. And to be clear, nobody in Radiohead has used the Lace Sensor “Blue, Silver, Red” Strat set. Jonny’s 90s Telecaster Plus V1 has its original Lace Blue and Lace Dually Red pickups, while Ed often plays 90s Eric Clapton Signature Strats with Lace Gold pickups. The Blue and Red pickups are humbucker voiced, while the Gold are single coil voiced. That should give you an idea of their respective preferences.

I had this idea of protective mama Mirabel au. She'll be like-

Mirabel insisted on she and Dolores have some quality time together while picking out fabric for clothes and such. Mirabel had made her ear muffs so if they ever need to go into town Lolo would be ok. they both know Asl/SSL so communicating wasn't a problem.

Some guys ruined their evening when they tried to catcall Dolores but Mirabel wasn't going for that. Mirabel knows what they were doing was wrong because her father told her what they were doing.

Once they were far away enough she gave them a world full of physical and emotional pain. No one disrespects her Nina prima.

Dolores heard it all but decided not to say anything. The three men told Alma about it and she tried to scold Mirabel but Lolo told her she heard nothing about that.

the three men were scolded instead and Mirabel and Lolo had a nice day full of embroidery and clothing making.
