Thinking abt my dst swap au again it's so messed up that I can't just talk about hypothetical character kits 24/7 and actually have to make a plot that some characters are more or less relevant in because all I wanna do is talk about Wilba and Wortox kits cause they're silly goofy goobers

#rat rambles #starve posting #they are swapped with eachother btw #wilba's kit is much Much more krampus themed than wortox (which is a low bar since he had no krampus stuff but still dhdndgd) #basically her whole kit is built around her being klaus's daughter #she is completely immune to the negative effects of a hight naughty meter and gets a free present each winter as her passives #and she has her own crafting station which is her lil tinkerers table where she can craft some festive themed items and deer stuff #she can have up to two gem infused deer followers at a time and other deer dont run from her #I do think itd be kind of fun to give her an enraged form too to mirror her werepig form in canon but idk it might be a bit much #also when she does fight klaus the amount of krampus summoned mid fight increases based on her highest amount of naughty points that year #the main reason this matters is that due to her being spoiled by her dad she cant rly do krampus farming by herself #but this is somewhat balanced by the fact that once she gets one she can tinker with it at her crafting station and unlock a recipe #so this both acts as her dad punishing her for fighting him and as a way to make it a smidge easier to get that initial krampus sack #as for wortox hes kind of two characters built into one #but both are simpler since hes now a og ds dlc character (although tbf current in game wortox is even simpler but thats due to change) #theres normal piggy wortox who has fun criminal gimics and during the aporkalypse he gets sorta possesed ~oooo~ #outside of the aporkalypse hes attacked on sight by guards but passively has the theiving hat effect and it can further stack with the hat #he also can craft a lock picker to break into shops at night and a thieves sack which is like a krampus sack but held in the hand slot #he also wont be stolen from by other theives and can in fact trade with them for thieves stash maps #during the aporkalypse most enemies will become passive towards him and if he kills the he becomes the total ruller of all pigs #he can extort shops for whatever resources he wants and can kill or steal from whoever #but he has a pretty constant heavy negative sanity drain and lower max stats in general #also the chaos herald is still a potential issue although it wont immediately agro onto wortox #oh but if the aporkalyse is ended then his kingly status is revoked as the being that is seen as the ruler is no longer possesing wortox #I just thought that it was odd that no one in the hamlet dlc was given any aporkalypse related gimmics considering its so easy to ignore #I think itd be fun to have a character that incentivices engaging with it more even if its a risk to do so

the more i think about and read avos the more set i am on making the yuriverse equivalent be all about rogues and how the clans treat them. i want this to be a story about how much the clans have to answer for all of the outsiders theyve hurt since tpb, and how despite firestar’s efforts in connecting with bloodclan and whatnot, that’s all been forgotten already and h

#alder isnt fire’s grandson anymore but one really dark thing im considering (but not set on) #is the way firestar gets warped over time through revisionist history. #it starts with ‘’he saved us in spite of his origin!’’ #to ‘’he was summoned from an unknown place…’’ #to just straight up pretending he was clanborn. now idk if avos is quite that far in this #cause like firestar dies in po3 yeah but that wasnt too long ago #but i do think that like. bramble in specific tried to mask where firestar came from to his kits when recounting the story #cause his mentor’s heritage is embarrassing #and its the beginning to an end of sorts #now. idk how the plot would change exactly yet #yuriverse

Nintendo games have become too easy...

#dragon's stupid thoughts #ok listen #i had a good time playing gcn Luigi's mansion even though i was running around with less than 50% of my health most of the time #i think i don't have to talk about pokemon that's self-explanatory #i never had really big troubles in pikmin 4 bosses #you can increase your health (even over the max) can't go ko as long as you got this first aid kit thing #lost a bunch of mins? no prob just rewind time or summon some glowmins (but shout-out to them for saving my ass at the final boss battle #the worst was the level selecting at the caves. this made it WAY too easy #getting down 20 levels with strong enemies and an even tougher boss is so much more thrilling than just skipping everything #I didn't die once in this game. wasn't even close to it #i haven't played wonder (yet?) but I've heard the bosses weren't the best or exciting #the bosses in totk are fun but not really challenging either (maybe the gibdo queen but that's it) #i think I haven't died against ganondorf #but the lynel challenge in the underground was fun! #the final battle in Luigi's mansion was an easy one as in what you had to do but it was somehow hard #maybe cuz of the controls but I enjoyed my win way more than in the other games i mentioned #... #I'm not excited for my playthrough of zelda II

I returned to FEH in time for the Fomortiis/Gotoh double banner and can I just say...dear artist who drew Fomortiis, you deserve a raise. My unhinged simp thoughts below:

So I am a lover of all things Lyon. Normal Lyon, Possessed!Lyon, Fomortiis himself...I love it all. And they did the Demon King JUSTICE with this art. He looks intimidating and impressive, and they gave him a massive stature as one would expect of the Demon King himself! The art is polished, and so fucking massive that to see the entirety of his character art you’d need to visit the FEH twitter just to see it! The Lv 40 confession feels like the most evil marriage proposal I have ever fucking heard, and I love it. But that might just be my monsterfucker ass interpreting it entirely differently to how it’s supposed to be presented. And that is FINE by me lol. I’m a big simp for both Lyon and Fomortiis, and I make NO secret of that. So all of this just feels like a very early birthday present from FEH as a whole because oh my GOD did they hit every one of the notes I like with Morti! And I love the added detail of the sprite of Lyon’s body slumping forward before righting itself almost unnaturally - a staple of any cheesy possession scene in movies and tv shows! It’s such a neat detail for anyone actually LOOKING.
