Everything was done. They were all free from that hell. And everything was good, they all graduated school and they were always spending time with eachother. Everything was good until it wasn't.

One time when the group were hanging out together Ben and Aiden both remained suspiciously quiet. Ben it was usually, but Aiden, that boy would never be quiet even if his life depended on it. So immediately they all knew something was wrong.

"Dipshit." Tyler called out to Aiden, who only raised his head slightly in response. "Why are you being so quiet, normally you never shut up." Usually Aiden would retort with a snarky comment, but instead only looked over to Ben with a questioning look. All attention was immediately placed on the cousins as everyone couldn't help but wonder what was wrong.

After Ben gave Aiden a nod, the blonde turned back to the group with a sigh. "My parents got a business trip they need to go on." He explained. "Okay? But they're always going on business trips." It came out meaner then Ashlyn wanted it to, but she wasn't wrong they were never around. They didn't even go to Aiden's graduation.

"It's out of state. We have to move with them"

Silence stretched over the group as they all processed the information thrown at them. The two of them were moving away. There was nothing they could do. After all that they've gone through together. They'll be gone.

The concept is so foreign to the group. They hadn't been separated since they escaped the facility. Why did this have to be happening, why?

A week later all of the Clark's things were moved out of their house and into a loading van. They all hugged the duo and gave them their final goodbye. Most of them were crying at their departure, but they tried to make it as normal as they could for the two's last day here.

After that the group never felt the same, of course they called constantly but it wasn't the same without Aiden's bad jokes or Ben's comments. And in the new place Aiden and Ben didn't really have any other friends, they've gotten in the mindset that they're going to move soon anyways, so what's the point.

If Ashlyn Banner was a character in a typical magic manhwa she would be the cool mage that remained isolated in the tower for over a decade without any sort of human contact until they were forced to due to the MC’s stupidity or in her case, Aiden’s shenanigans.

She would subsequently be roped into the chaos against her will, all while trying to figure out how to properly interact with real people after all this time and trying to protect this rag-tag group of people with varying backgrounds from certain death.

Aiden would be the crown prince who hated his position and responsibilities after the war so much he decided to become an explorer. It was a risky business with so many unexplored magical lands so it was right up in his alley but his parents only agreed to let him go if he brought his cousin Ben with him as a companion. Ben would be the powerful knight who was heavily traumatized and rendered mute during the war, working on finding himself once more while he and Aiden explored the world together.

Tyler would be the promising young knight who's trying to gain some prestige in order to take care of his family. Taylor would run the repair shop their dad left them but struggled to find a lot of customers due to the stigma that a woman couldn't possibly be strong enough or smart enough to do good repairs. The repair shop was incidentally right across the flower shop Logan's parents ran while he studied something with math or science at a fancy school and occasionally came by to help.

And the Crane Cult are the Big Bad™ that are using a blood sacrifices to call on the power of a higher being or something like that. And they wear bird masks of course.

Aiden isn't CRAZY. Ash isn't EMOTIONLESS. Taylor and Logan arent INNOCENT ANGELS. Tyler has more of a personality than being the rude one. Ben has more of a personality then being the responsible friend.

You know how the graveyard gang is essentially living 31 hours a day? Wouldn’t it be cool if those extra seven hours affected their bodies in mundane ways?

Like Ashlyn noticing that her hair is growing at much faster rate than she was used to, Aiden noticing that he’s having to dye his hair more often to keep the dark roots that he hates from showing, Logan noticing that his nails are growing much faster than it used to because dirt kept getting stuck under them when he helped at the shop, the twins noticing that they’d grown a whole three inches in like two months.

Stuff like that. Cause living a whole extra seven hours everyday is crazzzyyyy and has to have more of an effect on them.
