Have you ever seen Keita Amemiya’s mecha mini-series “Tekkoki Mikazuki”? If so, what are your thoughts on it?

So far, I uploaded 81 monster artworks out of 477.

And these 477 monsters are only the ones I selected (the best ones in my opinion) from the total number (circa 2600 monster artworks). I’m open to suggestions as long as nice scans of artwork can be found. I was considering uploading several monster artworks of Flashman, because they are simply horrifying.

Tekkōki Mikazuki Robot Megapost

Just finished watching Tekkōki Mikazuki, Keita Amemiya's Super Robot TV miniseries. In honor of that, I present this quick guide of the Giant Robots of the series.

Mikazuki- An ancient giant of unknown origin. Powered by Somnum, Mikazuki is the only weapon proven effective against the large IDOM Kaiju. His pilot, Isurugi Kazeo, may be young. However, his commands allow Mikazuki to fight for humanity.

Mikazuki Gai- Mikazuki's second form. Sleeker, faster and enabled with the power of flight, Mikazuki Gai is able to battle even more effectively than before.

Shingetsu- A second mecha of the same type as Mikazuki. When it first appeared, it looked identical to Mikazuki's first form. However, it quickly evolved into it's sleeker and more distinctive second form. Armed with more offensive weaponry, this robot is a serious threat. The question is, to whom?

The Gekkōki Series: A line of Giant Robots built by Akebono Heavy Industries and piloted by their eccentric fifteen-year-old President, Akane Hino. While built to fight IDOMs, they rarely serve as more than a distraction. Still, despite the (financial) risk, the Gekkōki are deployed to fight whenever called upon.

Man, why have I never heard of this series before? Apparently Keita Amemiya worked on it.
