#Would Survive PMMM

Tumblr media
YOU, The Viewer would survive in Puella Magi Madoka Magica!
Reason: Look at you- at all the experiences that have led you here. The fleeting present may be another grain in the sands of time - completely insignificant in the grand scheme of things -, but here you are; still standing in spite of the tribulations brought forth by time and destiny working hand-in-hand to weave the strands of your fate together. Here you are, still here, still standing, and still managing to find it in you to smile through it all.
It's a long way ahead, my friend, but if anyone's got it in them to keep striving on to see another day, I just know it's yourself.
Stand strong and be proud of who you are.
I may not know you, but know that I truly, genuinely hope things get better for you in the future.
I love you. /plat

Found Family Tournament Round 1 Part 7 Group 35
Propaganda and further pictures under the cut
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Golden Deer: Claude Von Reigan, Hilda Valentine Goneril, Lorenz Hellman Gloucester, Raphael Kirsten, Ignatz Victor, Marianne Von Edmund, Lysithea Von Ordelia, Leonie Pinelli
Mikazuki Villa: Iroha Tamaki, Yachiyo Nanami, Tsuruno Yui, Felicia Mitsuki, Sana Futaba & Ui Tamaki
Submissions are still open!
The Golden Deer:
You could technically submit any of the three houses and have them fit but I feel like none of them quite embody the spirit of found family like the Golden Deer. Other than being from the same place, there's nothing that inherently connects them to each other. There are a lot of barriers between them, class, upbringing, trauma. But despite all that they manage to come together in their own messy way. Their route is all about the importance of unity and coming together despite any differences that might exist and they show the strength that comes from embracing diversity.
Mikazuki Villa:
Mikazuki Villa is a boarding house owned by Yachiyo, and previously Yachiyo's grandmother. Yachiyo is a magical girl veteran of 7 years. Over those years, there had always been a group of magical girls staying at the house, whether it be just hanging out or living there. The first person was Mifuyu Azusa, another magical girl veteran who's been a magical girl the same amount of time as Yachiyo. Then Kanae joined them, although she died to a witch sometime after. The next to join were Momoko and Meru. Tsuruno joined after them. The group went out to hunt a witch one day, but Tsuruno couldn't make it. Meru ended up dying that day, but this time she had turned into a witch. Yachiyo started suspecting whether her friend's deaths were her fault becuase of her wish. Since her wish was "to survive" (in refrence to her career as a model) she wondered if her friends has died so that she could survive. Since both Meru and Kanae died protecting her. And then Mifuyu disappeared (she joined a magical girl cult, but Yachiyo doesn't know that), which was the final straw for Yachiyo. She ended up pushing Momoko and Tsuruno away. It stayed that way until Iroha arrived at the city, searching for her little sister, Ui, who she had forgotten about, as all evidence of Ui's existence had inexplicably disappeared. Yachiyo ended up helping her, along with Tsuruno. Yachiyo kept both of them at arm's length though. During the search for Ui they picked up Felicia and then Sana. Felicia was an orphan who's family was "killed by a witch" (she actually killed them by accident and wished to forget it happened, thats a whole other story tho) and would kill any witch in her path out of rage, hoping that she'll eventually find and kill the witch that took her family away from her. She lived as a magical girl mercenary before she was basically adopted by the others so that she wouldn't starve. She loves Dragon Ball (or the pmmm equivalent of it) and cows. That doesn't relate to anything, but I think it's cute.
And then there's Sana, who wished to become invisible. She was always a disappointment in her family, and eventually they disowned her because of it. Her family went on with life as if she never existed, ignoring her. She felt that it would be better off if she just disappeared, so that's why she wished what she did. Iroha and the group found her in the rumor of the Endless Solitude, where she lived with an AI called, uhm, Ai. Ai actually contacted Iroha to save Sana because she knew that she wouldn't be able to stay with her forever. Iroha was the first person to ever say she needed Sana, and after they destroyed Ai, Sana went with them. It seems a itty bit cruel to destroy Ai but it was necessary since her barrier was literally being used as a storage site for witches (thnx Alina. I love her though, Alina is my favorite Magireco character apart from Karin). Sana starts to warm up to the rest of them, and realizes this is what family is supposed to feel like. And then ummmm... Felicia, Tsuruno, and Sana get brainwashed and recruited into the cult by Mifuyu!! Yachiyo, who had started to let her guard down, decides to break up the team. She tries to push Iroha away just like she did the other group. But Iroha pushes back, and promises Yachiyo that she won't die. The two work together to find the others after that. They find Sana and Felicia, whose brainwashing had worn off (Mifuyu has actually helped them escape, as the brainwashing hadn't been her idea), but not Tsuruno. Tsuruno had actually been fused with a Rumor (thnx Alina) and was going to be forced to commit mass murder! Average Tuesday. They eventually find Tsuruno but realize somethings wrong with her. They were told by Mifuyu that, to free Tsuruno from the Rumor, they had to "connect hearts" with her (I forget the exact wording, but basically they had to fully understand her and then connect with her using their magic. "Connect" is actually a game mechanic that lets magical girls combine their magic). But, when Yachiyo tried to do that, it didn't work. https://youtu.be/Hc4ED9TBX18 (watch this) You see, Tsuruno on the surface is very energetic and happy and sunny all the time. She titles herself "The Mightiest Magical Girl" and has the power to back that claim. She's basically a straight A student at school with perfect attendance (until the brainwashing). And shes just a very kind person in general. Except she has a habit of bottling up her feeling and masking her worries. Meru's death actually affected her quite a lot. She blames herself for it, since she wasn't there. She feels pressured to keep up her appearance as "The Mightiest". Yachiyo even fed into it, though it was accidentally (she was going through some shit after Meru died as well). Yachiyo realized this after she recognized Tsuruno's expression as the one she wore after visiting an amusement park with Yachiyo and Momoko sometime after Meru's death. She was able to truly connect with Tsuruno after that realisation. And after that incident, the whole group made sure to support her so she didn't have to deal with everything on her own anymore. Ui was the last addition to the group after Iroha saved her from her state as a "half-witch". I'm not going to try to explain that here as it's unrelated.
Long story short, her best friends from the hospital (she had a heart disease, and Iroha's wish cured her from it) stopped her from turning fully into a witch, but to do that one of them had to erase all memories of her with a rumor. Yeah, her best friend was creating the rumors. The rumor implanted false memories of Touka and Nemu (her friends) trying to save all magical girls along with Alina, an artistic prodigy who was staying at the hospital after to a failed suicide attempt. Their key to saving magical girls was Ui's half formed witch. Which they formed the cult around. Ui got saved though! :D Buttttt her half witch broke into some peices scattered around, which the collection of is basically the main plot of arc 2. They made a home for each other and stuck together through the trials and tribulations of arc 1, even putting their life on the line for eachtoher. And all of this, is why Mikazuki Villa is THE BEST found family. I hope you've watched Madoka Magica before, because if not, this would make zero sense. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOTH MADOKA MAGICA AND MAGIA RECORD!! Magireco is a lil harder to find, but you find it on youtube at Magia Union Translations. Don't watch the Magireco anime, it sucks.

pmmm rewatch live notes: ep 3
we're back in the building! watching my friends react to mami in this ep was great. up until this point they were like idk why u felt the need to make sure to emphasize its psychological horror like its not that bad and then this ep they were like yeah so thanks for the warning thats shit was Crazy.
ok ok notes time
yellow lighting in kyosuke’s hospital room when sayaka visits
kyosuke has a half hearted smile and a bit of a faraway look in his eyes when he talks about music w sayaka
he looks away upset w broken arm extended when they listen to music and sayaka goes from happy and blushy to sad
sayaka gets all excited and makes comments about how cool it is to fight for justice as a magical girl and mami has to remind her it’s dangerous
mami says she didn’t have the luxury of a choice
she had to make her contact to survive
which is ironic bc her soul was removed when she made it so she really died anyways
and the magical girl profession always ends in early death anyways
mami asks sayaka if she actually wants kyosuke’s wish fulfilled or if she wants him to be grateful FORESHADOWING
kyubey says the sooner the better and mami makes a joke about not pushing girls into things and everyone laughs but like it is literally what he does he pressures them and gets them into more and more situations that ups the pressure to become a magical girl
madoka says she doesn’t have any skills or passions so she wants to be a magical girl to have a purpose (me fr)
madoka asks her dad why her mom likes her job so much and her dad explains that it’s trying her best at smth that she loves
foreshadowing for madoka’s choices
your dream being not smth in specific but being able to devote yourself wholly to Something
homura is upset that mami is leading them into danger
mami brushes it off as bc kyubey chose them but i think deep down it’s bc she doesn’t want to be alone anymore
kyubey chooses sayaka to stay and watch the grief seed while madoka gets mami bc he knows that she’s closer to agreeing to be a magical girl and has a wish in mind and if an emergency happened he could get her to do it right away
yellow and orange sunset lighting when mami goes into the labyrinth that she dies in
homura tries to hunt the witch bc she knows mami will die fighting it but none of them see this and think she’s being selfish
madoka is hesitant to ignore and leave behind homura but ultimately puts up no fight and follows mami
madoka feels bad that she’s not good at anything and relies on others for things a lot (just like me fr)
says becoming a magical girl would be her dream to help and save others
madoka tells mami she’s not alone anymore just like she does w all of the magical girls in the timeline of forever
yellow orbs of light that look like mami’s soul gem float around them
mami tells madoka to wish for a cake if she can’t think of smth better by the time they beat the witch which is fucking wild considering mami should know the gravity of this choice
she is so overjoyed by madoka ensuring she’d never be alone again that she isn’t thinking about that part
she says she’s not scared anymore bc she’s not alone and rushed in without fear
it’s that hope that kills her
mami dies and the red ribbon restraining homura fades away in her hand
like madoka’s ribbon
sayaka takes things out on homura for taking the grief seed saying it belonged to mami which foreshadows how she is w kyoko and the other way of being a magical girl
in the new ending a silhouette of homura reaches for madoka as she walks away

I’ll imagine everytime one of them has a near or straight up death experience, they are briefly reunited with PMMM Sonic
Also, really bittersweet how Sonic gets to see everyone surviving their former ends and watching them grow and be better and he can’t join them
THAT WOULD BE EXTREMELY SWEET.... unfortunately all I can imagine is just. even post omniscience, pmmm sonic is still SONIC, and acts that same way he always does (even if there is probably a sense of somberness and loneliness not present in most sonics if you spent enough time with him)
anyways long story short imagining shadow falling from the ark and sees this:

and thats all he gets before he's back to the living world.

Homura/Sayaka
possibly the pmmm ship ive seen the LEAST but ill be honest. i like it.
What made you ship it?
this ask. now their dynamic fascinates me
What are your favorite things about the ship?
i am really intrigued by how wildly toxic they would be. as of the end of rebellion, homura and sayaka both feel almost the same way about each other. they each think the other is a sad, misguided fool. they feel pity for each other, if anything. homura's views of sayaka come from her timeloops, where sayaka was an idiot who kept getting herself killed because she made a contract Basically Every Time and couldnt be persuaded out of it. she sees her basically the same way kyoko sees her, and she feels superior to her. but even though she acts like she doesnt care, thats just a defense mechanism that allowed her to survive the constant trauma of her loops. she doesnt want sayaka to die, she wants to save her. sayaka, meanwhile, knows basically everything about homura that madoka knows (which, after becoming god, madoka knows everything (as seen in episode 12 where she says she knows how hard homuras been working and she was always her best friend)). and in rebellion, when sayaka rescues her after her fight with mami, she knows the labyrinth is homuras and when homura starts railing about how evil the witch is who caught them in there, shes like 'is she really that bad? doesnt she just want you to be happy?' because she knows homura would hate herself for this and she wants to counteract that.
and if they hooked up right then it would be fine! its unbalanced, they both see the other as inferior, but they CARE about each other. but NOW? they have all these feelings PLUS they fucking want to kill each other because homura tore madoka apart and created a world in her perverse image, and sayaka declares war on her. i think it would be so so insanely toxic can you imagine the hate sex theyd have? and the fact that homura's world is slowly wiping sayaka's memory? you could do some super fucked up mindbreak shit with that. i think sayaka could be her horrible plaything.
Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?
i think the stuff i just said would probably be pretty unpopular. another unpopular opinion is i want to see more art of them.

been thinking about sayaka for a little bit and there's a fascinating interaction between her and kyoko in episode 8 or 9 where sayaka implies that kyoko stole her food and is less of a person for it despite the fact that sayaka's entire character revolves around extending compassion to the unfortunate at her own expense to the point her self-sacrifice leads her to neglect her own emotional needs. and that's significant and perhaps even incongruent with her general writing because up to that point she demonstrates a remarkable understanding of her privilege as someone who's known nothing but what it's like to have a stable and supportive community, lamenting her and madoka's sheltered lives. it seems way out of character for her to shame someone who came from poverty for partaking in actions informed by the experience of being poor. on the other hand there's potential for interesting class blindness dialogue there but that issue is overlooked in pmmm's text which reflecting on it a bit more deeply yeah. quite a missed opportunity. even if you interpreted her comment there as just being nonspecific animosity toward kyoko because they weren't on the greatest terms initially, that still doesn't touch on the fact that their character conflict as a whole is built on the clashing of their values; Kyoko, as someone who lived in squalor, adopted a darwinist survivalism mindset to get by in the world, and Sayaka, as someone who comes from a well-off family and has only her own interpersonal development to be concerned about, adopted a number of idealistic virtues in line with charitable motives to seek greater meaning in her life. sayaka calling kyoko out on her kleptism would also generally be informed by that class dissonance wouldnt it

There's a common misconception that being able to anticipate a plot twist means there's no room for surprises, which has not been true in my experience. How they are executed (heh) makes all the difference, as can be seen with Mami's death in PMMM.
I don't know about anyone else, but on my first viewing of PMMM, I got extremely uncomfortable the moment Mami pressures Madoka into agreeing to become a magical girl (for CAKE, no less!) once Mami finishes her upcoming fight against Charlotte. Since the show had already made it abundantly clear by that point that Madoka wouldn't become a magical girl until the final episode, when she was fully aware of the consequences and repercussions and could make a clearly informed decision, this meant that somehow Madoka would have to get out of her hasty and impulsive promise. And since Madoka is a good girl who hates disappointing others--that's how she got into this situation in the first place--that meant that something would go horribly wrong in Mami's fight.
And the simplest solution to this particular story problem was that Mami straight up wasn't going to survive the battle, thus giving Madoka an easy out.
So I knew all that going in, but even so, the manner of Mami's death caught me off-guard because it was so abrupt. One moment, everything was fine, the next moment she was just… gone, with very little warning. I had expected Mami to defeat the witch, and then get accidentally killed by its death throes, bleeding out in Madoka or Sayaka's arms after a dramatic speech about passing the torch, but there was none of that whatsoever. Instead, it was brutal, it was sudden and it was 100% effective and shocked me to the core even though I was expecting Mami's death. Genius.
I think it just goes to show that plot twists are not so much what happens as how they happen--as with so many things in life, presentation is everything. I think it's very sexy when writers telegraph a big plot twist in advance and still manage to surprise me, which is one reason why I love PMMM so much. It's also why even though I have a pretty good idea of what the big plot twists in Walpurgis no Kaiten are going to be, I still expect to be thoroughly surprised when they happen for precisely this reason.

Alright. I've been procrastinating, so let me get this out of my head and go finish the TINY details on a thing I wanted to send YESTERDAY (and by TINY I mean it will take me like 30 mins to finish if I can just focus, but wrapping up a thing??? My Kryptonite). PMMM Magia is Bloodweave coded.
youtube
Especially in the excellent English translation and cover - video linked above, lyrics here and below the cut.
Magia (Madoka Magica) ENDING
English Lyrics: AmaLee (LeeandLie
One day the light of love
Though it may seem far away
Will shine again in your eyes
(Transcend and rise above)
But there's only one dream
And it’s been ripped at the seam
This world will end in ruin
(And I'll lose all I love)
Stifle all your doubt
Let your lust cry out
I will help you swallow your hesitation
So trust me
Cause you yearn with greed
Though your heart may bleed
Will we fade away from this world
With no hope to hold onto?
I remember you from a dream I thought was truth
You bright with magic and I blinded by my youth
All is wish is for your hand to hold, you see
Only your smile kills the dark in me
With these hands I try to hold what I cannot seize
I’m like a rose thrown into violent breeze
All my strength’s blown away
With my heart, I will stay
Praying for light
Guiding my wish with all my might
One day it will come true
That wish you have inside you
To save the one that you love
(Is that a selfish act?)
It will capture your heart,
This love born under the stars
You'll say words you've never heard
(Just how would you react?)
If I can go on and not lose my way
I will sacrifice all my heart and let it fray to pieces
What I really need is a spell to cast
To stand up against all the pain
And fear that will always last
You are still lost in a dream, like a memory
I’m not the same, it would seem, I’m still wide awake
Until we open our eyes at the same time
I will keep marching on, into your light
With these hands I've picked a rose
And have stopped its life
Only now I understand, it’s not what’s right
Deep inside I'm alive - for my love I'll survive
I won't regret making this sinful wish of mine
The stories that I heard as a child
Kept me dreaming
Where magic run free,
And stars held captive remain always gleaming
The fairy tales I loved have taught me (have taught me)
No matter what hurdles there may be
Your wish comes true
(Was I a fool to trust in those lies?)
In the night wild with fright, the old magic stirs
Blooming with grace,
It will rise up to meet your face
"With your hands you can change this whole world of yours.
Everything that you wish for is in your grasp"
All I want is to forever dream with you
To live a life where all of me is alive
Deep inside I will give all my love just to live
I won't regret making this sin

There's a weird, weird, weird criticism of PMMM that revolves around the girls being pitted against each other and how Madoka's wish in the finale somehow is a statement on the "model woman."
Like... I get that pop culture too often has girls going at each other in a vibe that amounts to, "girls, amirite?" but Madoka Magica felt like it treated any of the sort with nuance and an in-universe reason.
If they knew how much the Incubators were screwing them over and the info Kyubey often withholds, they'd team up and fight the power hands down.
Would Kyoko and Sakura not put aside their differences if all we know of Kyubey now was known by them while the former was still stable enough? Would Mami not have tried to gun down Kyubey along with Homura if she learned the truth (preferable not after having to kill Sayaka as a witch)?
I know, that's such a dumb criticism. It's explicitly shown in the series that, unlike most magical girl series where everyone is best friends, the girls don't get the chance to do that because the very nature of the magical girl system in PMMM makes them compete for limited resources.
They're not catty girls fighting over shoes and boys, they're literally fighting for their survival and unfortunately making friends can get in the way of that. I think it's actually a really good critique on systems that divide us like capitalism and white supremacy; we could all be friends and help each other, but there are oppressive systems and structures in place that make us compete with each other.
Moreover, the effect this competitiveness has on the magical girls is shown in great detail with Mami (especially in The Different Story manga). She's desperate, lonely, and depressed because she doesn't have anyone to confide in.
It's no wonder that, when resources aren't as much of an issue, magical girls tend to band together. We see this in Magia Record, where lone magical girls are the rare exception and not the rule thanks to the purification barrier. In fact, a few events showcase non-Kamihama magical girls trying to infiltrate and stir up discord among the Kamihama magical girls only to fail because they're all on good terms with each other, if not straight-up friends and teammates. In Madoka's new universe, magical girls also fight together on teams because they're not competing over limited Grief Seeds.
So yeah, the lack of teamwork in the main series basically boils down to "oppressive systems inherently work to divide the people to keep them from banding together and unlocking their full potential." Man, I really need to write an analysis on the socialist implications of PMMM lol

orrrrr how kyubey could have further screwed with an interpretation of homura's wish.
first, about the setting. im under the belief that pmmm takes place in a slightly futuristic version of our world. this is based on scenery and tech, like this:
Tumblr media
(the weird holographic keyboard from madoka's room).
obviously, not everyone has to subscribe to this theory/belief, but that's the interpretation im using for this setting.
now, the au:
Tumblr media
part of homura's wish is to "become strong enough to protect madoka". kyubey is sort of known for taking wishes and (intentionally or not) twisting them in an overly literal or non-intended way. for example, kyoko wishes for everyone to listen to her father. instead of getting what she really wanted, her wish mind controls people and forces them to listen to/believe her father's preachings.
so thus, the au.
magical girls are already "not human" and sort of uncanny if you think about it. teenage girls who can survive shit that would flat out kill a human being, or walk around as their body is rotting (sayaka in psp), etc are all leaning heavily into horror territory if you think about it for longer than a few minutes. kyubey even flat out says something around the lines that a magical girl could lose "every drop of blood" and still survive, provided her soul gem is intact. there's even been contemplation and speculation as to if mami would have survived being decapitated if her soul gem wasn't crushed/on her head. that, combined with the realization that their souls are ripped from their bodies, already makes for a bad time for the unfortunate magical girl who discovers it. but imagine realizing that, besides the trauma from that, realizing that you yourself aren't even remotely a human in the way that a magical girl is — that your wish made you into a machine.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
le old concept art that i slightly edited, whoops
homura doesn't realize she's a robot at first in the way magical girls don't immediately know their soul gems literally house their souls. as for why, i imagine it's part of her wish/magic. seeing as canon says a magical girl can actively forget/reject her powers (kyoko rejecting her illusion magic), i can imagine it's possible for a magical girl to subconsciously use her abilities. after all, sayaka seems to heal automatically, not always with conscious effort. homura being obviously a robot when madoka meets her might scare madoka, so homura's magic subconsciously makes her look human...but the illusion doesn't hide everything.
in the original fic/au concept i had, the illusion holds until the one timeline with mami's breakdown at the realization that magical girls become witches. in the anime timeline, madoka kills mami before she is able to shoot homura. but if madoka was too late and homura was shot...the illusion shatters.
homura can "bleed" for surface level stuff, but getting shot sort of cuts off any subconsciously held magic. the realization that her insides are metal does not help homura's mental state, and in this au, that is what makes homura snap (along side the forced mercy killing stuff). i mean, homura already had been through So Much — saw her friends die, found out that magical girls turn into witches, found out soul gems literally house their removed souls, found out magical girls aren't really humans, THEN found out that she is even "less" human than the rest of them.
and it's already a pretty popular trope that magical girls don't Need to eat/sleep etc, and most people who write homura seem to also be in consensus that. she likely doesn't take great care of herself. and i think something like "unlike your non human friends, you aren't even capable of pretending to be human" adds to homura's already present disconnect between them.
btw for this au: coolmura can control the illusion to outwardly look human, but the illusion no longer lasts when she's transformed. it's also relatively "surface deep" so minor injuries (like a papercut or scrape) can "look" real or bleed, any major injury will either not happen as expected (like if she's meant to break her leg, there's no real bone to break), or reveal, uh, metal/wires and not anything grotesque as expected.
poor attempt at rendering what her vision is meant to look like, based off distant memories of, of all things, a mlp sfm animation. madoka's name is in green because she is a friend. the soul gem diagram is obvious, i think. the weird little homu image where it's red is meant to show injury (since iirc the scene from the screencap here is after the mami fight in rebellion?). i wanted it to be cooler and more animated but im trying to do it on my phone and got subpar results sooooo.

oc meme: idk how much you still think about qb these days but let's give her a ghost, desire, pain
QB is always in the back of my mind, even if I'm not actively thinking about her or even in the mood for any fics with her. Love-hate that bitch.
desire: What's one thing your OC wants more than anything in the world? Are they open with that desire? Why or why not? What would they do to fulfill it?
It's one of those things that's really hard to put into words. She's definitely not sharing it with anyone, keeping it so tightly locked up that you'd have to kill her to find out what it was. It's a survival skill to not talk about. The less information someone knows about you, the better. They are less likely to manipulate you with it. But for whatever she truly desires, there is nothing she wouldn't do to achieve it.
ghost: Who or what haunts your OC? What happened? How do they live with their ghosts?
In various AUs, it can be Kid Purge c; Usually something where she didn't save him from something and he dies. (in verses where reviving someone is not possible). In a PMMM AU, this results in her becoming meguca to bring him back, and things quickly/eventually go wrong to the point of her becoming a very big witch. In human or otherwise more mortal AUs, this results in a lot of anger and vengeance desiring, depending on what/how it happened.
In her main verse, perhaps the rules and roles of her Society/planet are what could be said to haunt her. Especially her parents, moreso her mom than her dad bc of how obsessive her mother was over her. She deals with it by working as far away from the Society as possible. But anytime someone says something positive about her mandatory obligatory forced adoption status as kp's mother figure, she gets violent flashbacks to her mother's obsessiveness.
pain: What's the worst pain your OC has ever felt? Do they have a high pain tolerance?
again, in various AUs, this is probably losing kid purge or any physical torture. but mostly it's probably some dreadfully slow torture. She does, however, have a high pain tolerance, coming from a planet that has a high focus on violence and survival of the fittest

I absolutely LOVE your latest artwork and I just LOVE all of your art!! It’s just so beautiful! I love how you draw Sayaka as well as how you write her, it’s amazing! You’re one of my favorite PMMM artists…
Also, I love Elsa Maria’s tendrils’(? I don’t know how you call them sorry) appearance, Sayaka fighting against that Witch was so terrifying…
And- And you did WONDERFUL in drawing her again!! I think there’s some symbolism in that drawing too and I think I have caught up to some, but I could be wrong…
Again, I really really really REALLY love and appreciate your art, it’s so unique and interesting and just BEAUTIFUL!!! I also appreciate you for drawing them… (and I really enjoy reading your personal ramblings too!!)
Hope you don’t mind me sending this… 👉👈
Oh!! Thank you for taking the time out to write such a detailed response to my works. ^_^! It really makes me feel honoured whenever someone describes my work as beautiful…I don’t think I’ll ever learn to accept or be accustomed to it.
Truth be told, I really wonder what people see in my Sayaka works when they say the writing is good because not even I can comprehend it/hj. There’s also no “wrong” symbolism in my works since they are always up for interpretation by the people who look at them. I just like reading people’s thoughts on them in general even though I do have a vague idea of what they are “supposed to mean”. What do you think?
The familiars of Elsa Maria are known as Sebastian, if I am not mistaken…I just thought about it because I rewatched the Elsa Maria fight the other day. Sayaka gets pummelled into the sky by them but she still survives. Truly one of the top ten magical girl moments.
Either way, I’m really happy that you like my works to this excitable degree, so I don’t really mind being sent this. After all, if I took fault with people using the ask system, I would simply switch it off u_u
Thank you for the ask!
