What particularly about Louis turns Lestat on? Personally and physically & vice versa. Do they have any preferences with love making? I just want to know what’s got them eternally obsessed. Carnally lmao 🤗
do you have more nsfw headcanons to share....... asking for a friend
I got both of these on the same day plus a req for Vamptember PWP, you're all going to horny jail (affectionate)
Since my opinions have been solicited, I've decided to offer my definitive (unless I think of something else later) list of the most important Loustat kinks and turn-ons. My word is law, obviously
NSFW under the cut as usual
-
Louis
Edging/orgasm denial
I think this stems from so much Catholic repression, probably some kind of subconscious enjoyment from subverting the idea of forced, shameful abstinence. Plus he seems like the type to enjoy being taken care of, to have someone who cares enough to take their time and help him really enjoy it. It would be good for him to reframe that kind of frustration to be a precursor to and part of the experience of pleasure.
Humiliation/degradation
I see this one as being another sort of catharsis, a way to reclaim that negative self-talk into something playful and pleasurable. I don't think he'd like anything super intense (especially given their history), but when in the correct mood, some teasing and name-calling definitely works for him. This can definitely go hand in hand with the aforementioned edging/denial at times.
Crossdressing/lingerie
I don't have a ton of rationale for this one, but I think he'd enjoy Lestat wearing lingerie (his favorites are a classic garter/stockings/bustier combo, those see-through babydolls, and the slutty French maid outfit). Maybe it has something to do with how the feminine clothing highlights masculine features (something he didnt let himself appreciate for so long) and maybe just the indulgent taboo.
-
Lestat
Choking/restraint
Actual bondage feels more like an Armand/Daniel thing, but I think Lestat would enjoy being pinned down, manhandled, choked etc in bed. He has so many issues around his post-Akasha body that being physically dominated by Louis, even if he could break free, would be pleasurable for him. There's also the element of desire, of being wanted and taken like that by the person he loves.
Spanking
Honestly, look me in the eyes and tell me Lestat wouldn't want to be called a slut and have his ass smacked. That's mostly canon tbh. We know he loves Louis' severity (and his sexy riding crop), so I definitely thinks he acts up just so can be taken over a knee like a ~naughty boy when they're alone. He's 70% of the way to a teacher kink.
Exhibitionism & voyeurism
Lestat is a professional attention whore and for sure wants someone to show off for, maybe even to get caught bedding the hottest vampire north of the equator. Every undressing is a striptease and there's nothing he'd love more than for a cop to knock on their car window. On the flip side, he is an appreciator of beauty, so he definitely asks Louis to touch himself/play with toys in front of him or to even likes to watch him shower/get dressed etc.
-
As far as general turn-ons
Louis is tall, but the kind that's all leg. They are also very nice legs and Lestat was devastated when tight breeches went out of fashion in favor of trousers. Louis is canonically a big shirt-tight pants gay, so Lestat is a big fan of those high waisted skinny jeans in the modern day (Louis likes them or those ultra-slim fit slacks with a tucked in poet top or turtleneck because it reminds him of the 18th century silhouette). If Louis' feeling generous (or horny), he'll wear yoga pants or very short lounge shorts around the house for Lestat. As a treat.
Lestat also REALLY likes to watch Louis feed. At this point hunting together is basically foreplay. Getting to watch is extremely intimate because of how private Louis is about feeding, but the erotic aspect means it fills a similar niche to sexual voyeurism. Bonus points because Louis has so little ability to control himself with blood, it becomes even more exciting and alluring to Lestat to witness.
He doesn't like to admit it, but Louis is very turned on by Lestat's rock star getup. The leather pants, the mesh shirts, eyeliner, all the sparkly, slutty nonsense and goth boots that make his ass look amazing. Though his career was short lived, Lestat keeps up the rocker look in his streetwear pretty consistently, but he definitely pulls out his old stage outfits once in a while as a birthday or anniversary gift to his favorite groupie.
Louis has a big thing for Lestat’s hair too. It was the first thing that caught his eye as a mortal and he still loves to brush it, pet it, and definitely pull on it. It gets lots of twirling and nuzzling in day-to-day life, but Lestat can always tell when Louis wants to take things to the bedroom if he starts raking through and tugging on his hair. A pretty eye-watering twist and pull is also the early warning sign that he's about to come during a blowjob.
They both (sometimes secretly, sometimes not so secretly) enjoy when the other is jealous. Sometimes Lestat will flirt with other interested parties or "seduce" pretty mortals to get Louis possessive and worked up for some PDA or rough sex. In turn, Louis will let his admirers chat him up and flatter him in earshot of Lestat when he wants some attention (or a good ravishing in the powder room).

"...similarly to how transmisogyny targets transfemininity.." transmisogyny is an intersection of transphobia (treating trans women like men and therefore being transphobic) and misogyny (treating trans women like women and therefore being sexist). the same thing cannot exist for trans men because misandry isnt real. trans men face real transphobia that is a serious problem but treating it like its the same as transmisogyny is sexist
my other ask sent early but tldr in order for trans androphobia to exist you have to redefine transmisogyny to claim that its something else and act like its not specifically about an intersection of discrimination
If we define transmisogyny as just the intersection of transphobia and misogyny, then transandrophobia (the things we call transandrophobia) are part of transmisogyny. Transmasculine people also experience both transphobia and misogyny, albeit often in different ways. There is a unique intersection of misogyny and transphobia that transmasculine people experience, and we could call that transmisogyny instead of transandrophobia, and it wouldn't be inaccurate, based on the description of transmisogyny as just the intersection of transphobia and misogyny.
But transmisogyny is widely accepted and used to refer to the experiences of transfeminine people specifically. It's extremely valuable to have a word that is used to describe the ways transfeminity is targeted in society, and how negative attitudes towards transfeminine people (& people percieved as transfem) exist and are perpetuated. I wouldn't feel comfortable taking that word and using it to describe transmasc-specific experiences, nor do I think most people against transandrophobia would want that either. Transandrophobia fits that niche, and doesn't take away or redefine any words being used to describe transfem-specific oppression.
Additionally, in my opinion, this word (or rather, it's concept) is far too important to give up. The experiences of transmascs are often erased, and before the transandrophobia/transmisandry discussion became a thing, there really was not (or did not seem to be, this is all my experience) an organized discussion around transmasc experiences in the way there is now. The discussion of how transmasculinity is demonized, and how it makes people repress their own transmasculinity or develop deeply rooted self hatred over it, has helped a number of people come to terms with their identity and their trauma, including myself. I've had a number of people come to my inbox telling me that this discussion has been helped them greatly in realizing why they hate themselves, why they shy away from identifying as a man, telling me how anti-transmasc transphobia has made them want to detransition or pushed them away from the community.
Transandrophobia, as a word and a concept, does nothing to harm or inhibit transfems or the discussion around transmisogyny, and in my opinion the benefits to the word outweigh any negatives in it's etymology.

{ Please note } Taboo - an implicit prohibition on something based on a cultural sense that it is excessively repulsive or, perhaps, too sacred for ordinary people.
I'm really nervous posting this, but I hope someone likes it ~
{ Chan - Objectification }
I can see Chan as the kind of person who would want all control taken from him since he's always the one in charge. Being completely used and controlled would make him melt in a way that simple domming may not work for him. Whether he's supposed to be a foot rest or a complete bitch without any relief given to him, the act of simple being controlled and used for someone else's pleasure would turn him on so much.
{ Minho - Large Insertions }
I can't be the only one who sees minho as a bitchy bottom (I am projecting myself onto him....yes) Anyway, I get size queen vibes but also Minho would love the sight of seeing the subtle bulge in the bottom of his stomach when he can finally fit whatever toy may have been chosen into him. And the gratification of the bottoming out wouldn't even be the start of it. He would also enjoy the sight of his gaping hole dripping with warm lube as it twitches and tries to clench around nothing after he cums.
{ Changbin - Watersports }
This may be where I lose some of you but hear me out. Watersports isn't just piss drinking and golden showers... Changbin would be the one who'd like to have his bladder control toyed with. Like maybe he drinks too much water and you refuse to let him go, just watching him squirm under your heavy gaze. And while fucking you could press down on his stomach while he whimpers, trying his hardest to hold it in since he would be punished for letting it go even a little bit. And towards the end of the little game Changbin would cum while seeing white and piss himself after.
{ Hyunjin - Age Differences }
There's something about Hyunjin that just makes me think he guns for people older than him. it would be something he wouldn't make a conscious effort towards anyone older than him till he realizes it probably through a crush on a senior or maybe even a mentor. I can imagine Hyunjin in a non idol setting really going for a milf/dilf type whether it has to do with the chase, the risk factor, or element of seducing someone older than him (not that he would need to do much) all to end up as a bit of a prize.
{ Jisung - Teratophilia aka Monster Fucker }
**disclaimer - this kink also has a meaning for a fetish regarding people with deformities, but I mean fantasy monsters**
My initial jumping off point was the idea that this has all been long time coming of evolving taste for Jisung. I feel he would watch hentai and find an odd attraction towards tentacle hentai scenes in some more vanilla works. Then venturing further he would stumble upon more niche genres like fantasy or sci-fi genres with heavy elements of cum inflation, aliens, and burly monsters he probably liked seeing defile whomever. This was all until he would find himself replaying the ideas of being manhandled into the rough embrace of any supernatural creature he may have watched completely ravage some helpless anime girl while he fingers himself.
{ Felix - Age Play }
** in my mind agere is sfw and age play is nsfw **
This one is a tad bit of a no brainer for me. Felix likes to be babied and coddled in general to where I think the element of having this headspace during and especially after sex would be almost natural for him. When he subs Felix would go into an almost non verbal state where needs to be gently held and dotted on like your baby. I can imagine him liking nursing ,titles like Mommy/Daddy, and just wanting to be cared for overall.
{ Seungmin - Filming }
We all know Seungmin is known to be around with his camera, but as the member I see wanting something neither too rough or soft; bringing in that trait of his is a no brainer. Whether he's filming you all having sex in your shared bedroom to upload onto an amateur site or for his own collection. The presence of that little red dot makes him feel almost urged on by the need to perform and show off the two of you.
{ Jeongin - Public Sex }
When I say public I really don't mean dressing rooms and bathrooms. I mean while you're on the phone, in a movie theater, and even on the metro. I don't Jeongin as someone too kinky, but I think the thrill he'd get from initially trying it in a bathroom would lead him to want to stride for more whether you have him eating you out while on a zoom call or you give him a rough hand job that only results in him cumming in his briefs on the metro. He would only crave more.

Oh man, okay. Specific direction for commentary is super valid, it's just also hard to pick a direction because I'm just sitting over here [taptaptap] enjoying everything... I guess characterization is usually the axis upon which my thoughts turn. Got any info you wanna share about what's going on with characters behind the scenes? And what's up with all these new folks? I'd love to hear about your creation process for them, and, like, the ways this all slots into canon. (Or maybe diverges, to give it time to Get to where it is in canon those years down the line.) 'course, you're free to stop wherever you'd like to keep from bumping into spoiler territory.
I wouldn't be opposed to getting those liner notes either, if those were something you wanted to share. :3c
I should have said this before, but: wow, I am so thrilled that you want to hear my commentary. Thank you so much for your interest. You have unlocked the floodgates; there is probably a lot more coming! I’m sorry this took so long.
So, characterisation.
There’s this framework I use for figuring out one piece of characterisation, which is basically about how people relate to their skills. Not what skills they’ve got, but how they approach the process of using them. One part of it boils down to dividing people into analytical vs intuitive. (Sort of. This gets more complicated because the same person can approach different skills/interests in different ways. Usually I apply at least two categories of the framework to each character. I can draw the basic concept of the thing up like a chart with two axes, but I can’t actually place anyone in a single neat box on it.)
‘Analytical’ means someone who thinks out their plans in advance, consciously plans out what tactics they’re using/ going to use, is paying conscious attention to a lot of little details and also (often) fitting them into a bigger picture. Their failure mode is overthinking and missing the simpler insight, or decision paralysis. ‘Intuitive’, by contrast, is about gut instinct. Improvisation, going with the flow. Generally goes with the willingness to break more rules to get where they need to go :p . An intuitive character will figure something out in one brilliant moment and not be able to explain how they got there; probably they’ll already be in motion dealing with it. Of course, that means their failure mode is rushing in too fast, jumping to conclusions, getting in over their head.
This can be really subjective/subject to headcanon-ing, it’s about internal perspective stuff, but it really helps me with writing from a character’s POV – basically, it means I’ve decided how much they think about/overthink what they’re doing!
[Sidenote: “One person is analytical and the other is intuitive” is a really common combo for ‘unlikely friendships/pairings’ setups in fiction of all sorts. For one thing it’s basically the foundation of every buddy cop story ever: “the straight-laced cop and the quirky specialist” (to quote Erin Ptah making a snarky comment about it). See also Weiss and Ruby, Blake and Yang, Ren and Nora… This framework with its names and categories is my own niche thing but it’s picking up on something real, or at least something that gets used in fiction a lot :p ]
And I think of “the ability to relate to people” as a skill, for this purpose. Social stuff in general.(Because I am socially awkward enough that I have to think of it as a skill I’m consciously deploying, nothing will go well with it if I try to do it from intuition haha.) Social skills is one whole axis of the framework. Someone who approaches social skills intuitively is a Heart. Someone who goes about it in a more detatched, analytical manner is a Diamond.
All of which brings me round to – so Clover, as a character, looks like the absolute stereotypical Heart. Cheery, outgoing person, effortlessly charming, everyone’s friend. It’s a pretty familiar character type, even if no one else calls it a Heart, haha.
… The thing about Soldier, Spy’s Clover is that it’s not actually that effortless. Saying the right thing all the time is nowhere near as easy to him as he pretends it is. He’s always thinking about what people need, and how best to give it to them with his responses. His front is, from the inside, sometimes very very artificial. So many manufactured smiles.
Fun fact: I didn’t realise that that was what I was doing with him until chapter 4. I was doing it, I look back and see signs of it even in chapter 1! But I guess I was doing it intuitively, haha. It wasn’t until I was writing chapter 4, which has him interacting with other Huntsmen and Huntresses from his own POV, that it solidified in my mind.
Related to that, there’s the thing where Clover spends a lot of time not thinking about stuff. Notice how he doesn’t let himself feel any of his own reaction, at the end of chapter 7, until the moment when he’s effectively alone and can’t help it.
“Qrow drank the water, and smiled half-seeing up at him, and went where he was led. Clover got his shoes off him, and his cape and rings, and guided him down onto his bed. Qrow was asleep before his head hit the pillow.
Then Clover let himself sink down onto the end of the bed himself. Now that he didn’t have taking care of Qrow to focus on, he was suddenly overwhelmingly tired. He scrubbed a hand across his face.
One more person in my life who only wants to use me for my semblance.”
This makes him really tricky to write sometimes. I don’t think I was very successful, in chapter 4, at getting across all the things he’s not happy with that he’s ignoring. … But that meant the end of chapter 7 hit people so much harder, as the moment when everyone realised things are Not Okay with Clover either, and I’m okay with that >: ] I laid the groundwork, and now people can notice it after the fact.
Some of this is rooted in backstory stuff that’s specific to this fic, which I can’t talk about (damnit! I need to finish this fic so that I can talk about all these cool ideas I had.) The other half is, uh… rooted in the way he turns on Qrow so quickly in the end in canon. No matter how he feels, it seems obvious that there’s a distance there in how he relates to his emotions. The walls can go up, any time he needs them to.
And then there’s Qrow (who is pure intuitive, obviously. No point making plans when everything might change on you at any moment.)
A lot of my idea of Qrow’s tactics as a spy comes from the story he tells Yang and Ruby in volume 3. https://roosterteeth.com/watch/rwby-season-3-volume-3-chapter-4-lessons-learned Not actually the story itself (although yeah, obviously “overhearing secrets/pumping people for information in a bar” is going to be one of his tactics), but the way he tells it. His nieces are demanding to know what he did on his mission, he can’t tell them because it’s secret (and also probably wasn’t pleasant); he doesn’t refuse, he starts telling them a story – and then he sidetracks them right into the joke about the bartender’s skirt length, and they forget all about it. He even uses that to also win the video game! And later on, when he makes a misstep (we all make mistakes :p) and speaks too familiarly about Ironwood, he immediately rescues it by shoving that photo of STRQ in Yang’s face and distracting her with the hope he might say something about her mother. He looks like the opposite of a people person, but “good at manipulating people” doesn’t always mean “charming extrovert”. He knows people underestimate him and he uses that. That’s how I’ve been writing his spy shenanigans here.
So in other words: Clover is a diamond using those skills to pretend to be a heart. Qrow is a heart using those skills to pretend to be unable to manipulate anyone. I had so much fun when I figured that one out in words.
Thanks so much for asking me about this! Sorry it took me so long to write out, I was eager to share all this stuff but it turned out to be complicated to explain. I’m hoping to stay motivated on the story by talking about bits of it, I’m definitely going to say something about my OCs in the next post I do for this :p I love OC creation, it’s such a neat way to explore parts of the story-space a given canon doesn’t let us see.

This needs to be addressed:
I'm on reddit regularly. Today I saw something as I was scrolling that deeply disturbed me & I feel needs to be addressed.
For those not familiar with reddit's format, let me explain. The website is basically a host to multiple forum style 'subreddits' that are based around various interests where you can post photos, videos, gifs, links to websites, links to articles, or just good old fashioned text.
Some subreddits are very broad (r/aww is pictures, videos, & gifs that are adorable & make you say "awww") & some are extremely niche (r/picturesofiansleeping was created by a dude where he just posted random pictures of his roommate, Ian, sleeping because the dude could fall asleep anywhere). Each subreddit is it's own community with its own culture & rules, while also being a part of the reddit community as a whole & abiding by its overall culture & rules.
Below is a screenshot (with the username redacted) from a post in the Ehlers-Danlos subreddit, which I scroll through from time to time just to see what's there, but not regularly because the overarching culture there is not one I want to be a part of (& what I'm about to show you here is a perfect example of why).
Tumblr media
So a photo of Joaquin Phoenix filming a scene for the movie Joker is making the rounds with the caption above it, stating that he dislocated his knee filming that scene (not written is that he continued to film after the dislocation) & demanding he be given the golden globe. Given the quality of that performance, even prior to knowing about his knee, I agree that he should have a golden globe for it.
What I take issue with is the fact that that was posted to r/ehlersdanlos with the title "My knee dislocates 5-20 times a day. Where's my reward?"
So let's chat about why this is ABSOLUTELY unacceptable, despite the fact that I see similar sentiments throughout the chronic illness communities.
First of all, this person is 100% exaggerating. I'm not one to doubt anyone's claims regarding their health but as someone who has had knee dislocations since I was quite small, it's not feasible. Subluxed knee 5-20 times a day? Eh, still not really believable. 5-10 subluxations? Sure, maybe. But no way is this person having 5-20 full knee dislocations in a 24 hr period.
Exaggerating like this actually really hurts credibility & not just for them as an individual. I'd be will to bet that if they are stretching the truth that casually in an inconsequential post online, that they do it in real life to medical staff as well. If the medical professionals that we all rely on for care hear enough exaggerations from specific demographic groups (say... women under 25 with an EDS diagnosis), then eventually when they see a patient that fits that criteria, there will be an unconscious bias & assumption of exaggeration. Then it hurts the chronically ill community as a whole.
Second, this person is minimizing & invalidating Mr. Phoenix's (i spelled his first name once & was quote proud, but it is not happening again) injury simply because... why? Because he is able bodied? Because the poster is chronically ill? Those things don't cancel each other out. This is the bit I see FAR too often.
There is this weird line of thinking that is prevalent in the chronic illness community where some chronically ill people think that because other people aren't chronically ill, any illness, pain, or injury they go through isn't as valid as their's is. Lemme just hop up on my soapbox here to say...
📢 THAT LINE OF THINKING IS FUCKING BULLSHIT📢
I've seen it first hand via my aunt. She is diagnosed with fibromyalgia. She has all the hallmarks of EDS, but despite me getting diagnosed & telling her she needs testing, she is weirdly attached to her current diagnosis. Any time my cousin (who is 3 yrs younger than me) is sick or hurting, my aunt says something about how much worse she feels. Cousin says she has a headache? Aunt: "Now you know what I deal with 24/7." Cousin has a stomach virus & can't stop puking? Aunt: "That's literally my life 4 out of 7 days of the week."
When The Spawn was in middle school, right after I had started to trend downward health wise, I noticed her wincing & holding her head a lot. I asked what was up & she said she had a headache & it had been hanging around for 3 days now. I asked why she didn't tell me sooner so I could help & she told me that she knew it was minor compared to what I deal with, so she didn't feel right bringing it up.
I immediately sat her down & had a long talk explaining that just because I am dealing with the dumpster fire I was given does not at any time mean that whatever she is going through isn't every bit as important, painful, or difficult for her & that at no time do i want her to have to handle it alone. I made sure she knew that no matter what was going on with me, I am here for her because what she is going through is important & valid. I've only had to have that talk 2 more times with her.
I've had to have a version of this talk with a few friends & my dad, as well. I'll see my dad wince or hear him do what I call "The Dad Huff" & I'll ask what's up. Dad: "I know I shouldn't complain to you because it's nothing compared to what you deal with but..." BRO i am EXACTLY who you should complain to. I know tricks that could help with a myriad of physical ailments PLUS i have a whole ass Walgreens in my bathroom.
My point is that as a whole, chronically ill people need to stop invalidating healthy, able bodied people's illnesses or injuries. PERIOD. It's not a fucking suffering competition. What? You think if you keep invalidating healthy people & boasting about how much more sick or more injured you are that at some point a guy is going to leap out of the bushes & hand you a gold medal & a giant check for suffering the most?
No.
Also, you'd think if someone was suffering that much, in that much pain, was that ill, that they wouldn't want anyone else to feel even close to the way they do & would be happy to help or be genuinely distressed/concerned for the other person's wellbeing.
So fuck off because people who do this shit just sound like they lack empathy, compassion, and other generally human qualities which implies they have no fucking soul.
Just be supportive of one another, able bodied, disabled, chronically ill, chronically healthy, or whatever. Just be kind to people. Fuck.
