Bogs and wetlands, she tells us, “retain carbon dioxide in enormous quantities, even more than forests do.” Her images, from this Nat Geo article, show the beauty of what she calls the planet’s connector: “They connect land and water; life and death; the past, the present, and our future.”

Okay, here’s something that makes no sense.

The Fire Emblem Wiki refers to Eldigan as king of Nordion, a state in Agustria. Chagall, though, is king of Agustria.

Thing is, they are not social equals. The Nordion king is supposed to swear fealty to the Agustrian royal family.

It would make sense if Nordion were a principality, or a dukedom, or anything but a kingdom.

Is this a translation issue? Or is the wiki wrong?

If it is wrong, my assumption would be that since Sigurd took over Agustria, neither of them are kings, and Eldigan became a knight serving Chagall in the timeskip. That would make more sense than him somehow being a king with lesser authority than another king.

EDIT: Okay, things are starting to make more sense. Agustria is essentially a bunch of kingdoms in a trenchcoat, with Agusty’s royal family spearheading the whole thing. Nordion’s kings are what are called vassal kings, which are exactly what they sound like. In real life, such arrangements don’t end well, typically, and the same holds true in Jugdral.
