Shoo, I didn't think I'd get a request for him this quickly :))

At your best, you are love

It had been a stressful season so far for the boys, as every match weekend dampened morale more and more. As a team physio, you bore witness to this firsthand. It was more personal when you saw your boyfriend, Alejandro, struggling with it.

He had been at the club for about a year and felt that he wasn't doing anything. You had tried to talk to him, tell him it was still too early to judge his performance but he barely listened. Much as you loved his dedication to his job, it's hold over him frustrated you.

That weekend, the team made its way to the mereyside for the match against Everton. Historically, you should've been optimistic about the forthcoming match but it was like you were dreading it.

The match started off well, with both sides having enough chances to score, but frankly, it could've give either way.

That's when it happened,however. You turned away to speak to your supervisor about something when the entire stadium erupted into cheers. Your confusion gave way to joy when you realised that it was a goal for United.

One that was scored by none other than Alejandro Garnacho.

You immediately stood and cheered with everyone else as tears filled your eyes.but when you caught his eye, he smiled at you as kissed the tattoo of your name on his arm, dedicating the goal to you.

The rest of the match went on with everyone feeling a lot more hopeful for a win. And two goals later, you were returning to Manchester with three more points under your belt.

On the bus ride back, half of they team was either asleep or too drunk to be aware of anything beyond their arms reach. This gave you an opportunity to be with your boyfriend without anyone noticing.

"how do you feel?" You ask, wanting to know what's on his mind.

"more confident than I did four hours ago, that's for sure," he replies as he runs his and through your hair and kisses your forehead. You lean further into him.

"you are a good player, alejandro. I don't know why you doubt yourself," you say, seriously. "Today just proves that. I wish you could see yourself the way I see you."

He smiles at your words, grateful for them and for you.

"gracias, mi amor. I don't know what I'd do without you. I love you," he whispers as he holds you closer.

You smile to yourself as you lean against his chest, eyes droopy with sleep.

I think we are in particular need of this one after what the fuck was that Burnley game???? It's like when you remind United of how much progress we make, they just want to take it back to zero. Anyway, I'm stuck with this until tennis starts again. Apologies for not writing sooner and for writing shit. I'm going through it.

"What is that?"

"A list of the times you've taken care of it versus the times I've done it. I did the last one, see?"

"I can't believe you are keeping track of the times we change her diaper when she poos" he laughs.

"It's the only way to make sure you don't cheat and run away" I shrug.

"But I can't do it today, I already got changed into my tracksuit. Imagine that there is an explosion! I can't show up at Old Trafford smelling like poo!"

"Sorry" I shrug again.

"What if I cross paths with Sir Alex and I smell like poo? What will he think about me?"

"He's a dad and he knows that you also are a dad, a very new one. Didn't he ask you the other day how it was going?"

"He did, yeah. He was so nice… He even told me I could ask him for advice if I needed it."

"Then if you show up today smelling like poo, he'll understand. Though you can also tell him it's not you, that it comes from City's changing room."

"Woah, so savage" Alejandro laughs.

"Am I wrong, tho?" I smirk. "Anyway, enough talking. It's diaper time."

"Ok, fine. I'll do it" he sighs.

"Thank you" I say, kissing his cheek.

"Let's see what surprise the little one has for us tod… joder!"

"Oh my God" I say, taking a step back.

"It smells like shit!"

"Because it is shit!" I laugh, covering my nose and mouth with my hand.

"What did you feed her today?"

"She's two months old. You know what she ate today."

"Then what did you eat? Something rotten?"

"Idiot" I say, hitting in the arm. "I ate the same thing you did."

"I don't believe you. Look at the colour too, it is so… disgusting."

"Stop complaining and clean it."

"I can't."

"Alejandro, do it. If you keep staring at it while it is there in the open, you will definitely end up with your clothes smelling like poo."

"Ok, ok… I'll do it. Just stay still, ok?" he says to our daughter. "You don't want people to make fun of your papá, do you? No, you don't. Because you are a very good girl. One who definitely has something wrong with her tummy, but a very good girl."

"See, it wasn't that difficult. And look how happy she looks."

"Of course she is happy. I just got rid of a monster. Make you sure you throw it away, I don't want it growing legs and attacking us at night."

"I will, don't worry" I laugh.

"And now, papá is going to kick some Manchester City asses. Yes, he is" he says with a stupid voice, making our daughter do something like a giggle .

"Kicking asses metaphorically."

"Yes, yes. We don't actually kick asses… though sometimes we have to" he whispers, kissing her cheek. "See you after the game, ok?"

"We'll be there" I smile.

"There they are! The two most beautiful girls in Manchester!" Alejandro says, walking towards us.

"Congratulations on the win and that goal."

"Thank you very much" he says before kissing me. "And how is the little one?"

"She just woke up."

"Just in time" he says, picking her up from the buggy. "Wait, what is that smell?"

"What?"

"That smell. Did she…" he says, lifting her and moving her closer to his face. "No! Again!"

"What?"

"She did it again!"

"No, she didn't!"

"She did!"

"I don't smell anything."

"You are used to the smell. It comes from you after all" he smirks.

"Idiot!" I say, hitting him.

"Hey, careful! I'm holding her!" he says, still smiling.

"She doesn't smell of anything. You are just trolling me."

"Maybe I am" he shrugs. "What are you typing on your phone now?"

"That you are an idiot who just earned himself a whole week of poo duty."

"I what?"

"What you deserve" I grin.

"That's not fair."

"It's already written on the list, there is no coming back now."

"You mother is a rude woman" he says to our daughter.

"And so is your father."

"Maybe that's why we love each other so much" he says, hugging me with his free arm and kissing my head.

"Maybe it is" I smile.

Alejandro Garnacho (Manchester United) - Cuffin Season

Day 6 of Christmas

Y/n and Alenjandro were a perfect couple, both in the public eye and privately. While While saw their friends get into relationships and break up, they remained strong and together. They played pranks on eachother all the time and it kept the relationship going. It was good fun all around in all honesty. Y/n was scrolling through her tik tok one morning and spotted a video with that one song from the SNL skit with Sza. It was a girl lip syncing while her not-so-big boyfriend stood in the background and looked on confused. It made her chuckle, and then an idea sprang to mind.

As Alejandro prepared breakfast for him and his girlfriend, he spotted said girlfriend, Y/n, setting up her camera. He decided to pass no heed. She usually does this for a prank or based on the cosy clothes she was wearing, maybe a "fit-check" as she called it. She did them a lot. Music began playing, which Alejandro guessed was his girlfriend beginning to record. She stepped away, putting him into view. She lip synced to the words.

It cuffin season

And now we got a reason

To get a big boy

He turned and looked at her confused. She saw him look at her on her phone and turned to face him, an innocent grin on her face. “What?” she asked. “I am not a big boy.” he whispered making Y/n erupt into laughter before turning her camera off. "You're hilarious!" Y/n cackled, holding onto her boyfriend. "Maybe I'm big in another way, huh?" She laughed even more at the sweet voice saying something like that. She could barely breathe from all the laughing. "Come on and get your tea." He laughed along, turning back to do the task at hand. Y/n posted it. It was too funny. She of course captioned it with his quote from after;

Alejandro placed breakfast down in front of his girlfriend who was laughing away to herself on her phone. It of course confused him since he was now sitting in front of her and she hadn't put her phone down like she usually does. "What's so funny?" He asked, taking a sip of his tea. "The comments on the tik tok." She replied. "Already? You posted it 10 minutes ago." He said. "I guess you and this song are just a popular combination." Y/n set her phone to the side. "The comments are full of girls saying things about how incredible you are and all." She explained, beginning to eat her food. "Well, luckily for me, you're the only one that matters." Y/n blushed and looked up to him. "Okay, you softy."

Author's note: This is a request from Wattpad. They asked for something with Garnacho where he and the reader don't show much affection in public, some people even doubting they actually are together. After the last game of the season they join all the other players on the pitch, and the reader freaks out a bit, Alejandro helping them relax. I hope you like it, and thank you for reading! 💜

"It's just a walk around the pitch, c'mon."

"But there will be cameras..."

"And?"

"I don't like being in front of a camera, Alejandro."

"But now that the game is over it'll be just the club's crew filming and you know them all, they are friends."

"What if the tv reporters are still there?" I ask.

"They will probably be focused on the players who are leaving and on the kids being cute. They won't care about us."

"But what if they do? You know how people are always talking about us not really dating and all that because we don't kiss or hold hands" I say, rolling my eyes.

"That's people online, not actual journalists" he laughs.

"I know, but..."

"Guys, are you coming or not?" Sancho calls.

"Just one walk around the pitch and then you can come back to the tunnel to hide. Please" Alejandro pouts.

"Ok, fine" I sigh.

"Yes!" Alejandro says, hugging me. "You are the very best, did you know that?"

"Yeah, sure" I chuckle.

"You are" he says, kissing my cheek and making me giggle. "Now let's go" he smiles before taking my hand on his and walking towards the pitch.

"See? No one cares about us" Alejandro says.

"Yeah... I guess" I reply, looking around us. Most of his teammates are talking to their families, taking photos together, or playing with their kids.

"And there are no cameras around either. Everything is fine. Well, not everything."

"What?"

"If you keep twisting my hand like that, I fear you may break it" he laughs.

"Oh, shit, sorry" I say, looking down. "I'm just so nervous... There are people still on the stands and I feel watched, as if all their phones were aimed at me ready to catch me doing something bad."

"Something like what, uh? Kiss me, perhaps?" he smirks.

"More like trip and fall, my face ending on the grass."

"If you go down, I'll go with you" he laughs, lifting our entwined hands. "But that won't happen because I got you. Now and always."

"Thank you" I smile. "Now can we please hurry up? I want to go back inside."

"Already?"

"Yes, already."

"But look at all the kids having fun! Especially the little ones."

"The ball is bigger than most of them" I chuckle.

"And isn't that cute?"

"It is, yes" I say, trying to smile. "Can we go inside now?"

"We can go, yes..." he sighs. "But before we do, let me try one last thing."

"Alejandro..."

"It's something that will help you relax, you'll see."

"Why do I feel like I will regret it?"

"You will not. Trust me."

"Urhg, I can't say no to you when you smile like that."

"I know" Alejandro says, his smile growing wider.

"So, what is this thing that will help me relax and forget that I am in the middle of Old Trafford, surrounded by strangers armed with phones and cameras?"

"This" he smiles, hugging me by the waist and pulling me closer to him.

"Alejandro!" I say, my eyes going wide. "There are people watching."

"And?" he shrugs. "We aren't doing anything wrong. And this isn't wrong either" he says, kissing my cheek.

"No, it isn't" I giggle.

"This isn't either" he says, now kissing my other cheek. "Or this" he continues, kissing my nose, making me giggle once again. "But do you know what is definitely definitely not wrong?"

"What?" I ask, letting myself go a bit and wrapping my arms around his neck, forgetting for a moment about where we are or if we are being watched.

"This" he says before kissing my lips. "And?"

"And what?" I ask, my lips brushing against his.

"Are you feeling more relaxed?"

"I am" I smile.

"Good" he says, properly kissing me this time.

"Nice make out session, guys" Sancho laughs when we make it back to the tunnel.

"Did you see us?" I ask.

"Everyone did!"

"What?" I say, looking at Alejandro.

"Guess now they won't have doubts about us dating or not" he shrugs.

"But, but..." I mumble, my cheeks burning.

"Hey, it's ok. We love seeing you happy" Sancho smiles.

"See? Nothing to worry about."

"Yes, but..."

"But nothing" Alejandro says, cupping my face.

"I better leave you alone" Sancho chuckles behind us.

"Those who care about us say that they like seeing us like this, happy. And what they say is what matters, not what anonymous people say online. Though do you know what really matters?"

"No" I whisper.

"What really matters is what we feel. You and I. And I know that I love you."

"I love you too, Alejandro" I reply.

"Can I kiss you again, then? There may be people watching..." he smirks.

"You may" I smile. Because he is right. All that matters is what we feel for each other, not what strangers say.
