Demons in the Dark

What if they have glow-in-the-dark eyes?

Contents: No warnings aside vague mentions of imminent danger. And bugs and snakes.

Lucifer

Seeing Lucifer in a dark room is incredibly unsettling. You know those horror movies where the protagonist sees a pair of demonic eyes from shadows? You've found the inspiration.

His eyes burn with the color and intensity of molten glass and they that just loom ominously in the darkness, usually well above people's heads!

Lucifer knows exactly how haunting his eyes can look, which is why he prefers to sneak up on Mammon when it's dark and he's up to no good…

The mental image of Lucifer's crimson eyes have long since burned their way into the secondborn's nightmares...

He tries his best not to scare MC with them, but it's undeniably unnerving to see disks of pure hellfire roaming around the kitchen looking for a glass of water…

Mammon

His eyes glow just the prettiest shade of gold you'll ever see. Think of a mound of ancient coins glinting away under a treasure hunter's torchlight.

Mammon knows full well how attention grabbing his eyes are, which is part of why he always wears sunglasses when out stealing. People can't see'em glow if they're all tinted up behind his frames!!

He's also pretty proud that his eyes don't give people nightmares like Lucifer's, but since they glow like little sundrops when he's out, moths fly into his face… a lot…

He is far too embarrassed to admit to MC that he also wears his sunglasses outside for bug protection, so he makes up some shit about it being part of "Devildom-style" they just wouldn't understand.

Sometimes, the MC swears that if they look close, his pupils look like Grimm signs. But has to be a trick of the light… Right?

Leviathan

Levi's eyes glow a citrine orange but weirdly, his pupils actually slit instead of dilate in the dark.

Though he will never admit it, but he actually has pretty bad night vision in his normal form. (Which isn't that surprising given all of screens he stares at.)

It's a little comical watching Levi stumble around in the dark if he needs to go grab something. The MC can just follow his eyes as he smacks into a lot of walls…

His demon form can kind of make up for it, but only so much. If things get too dark, Levi can change into it so he can see his surroundings with the help of UV light.

"Snake Vision" makes the dark more manageable, but it's not very good for gaming at all so he rarely thinks to use it. Everybody knows that past a certain brightness in the room, don't expect Levi to be of much help.

Satan

Magically enchanted his eyes to look exactly like a green-eyed cat's in the dark. I'm dead serious.

Imagine just going about your business then two grown man-sized feline eyes pop out from behind a corner. They even have nocturnal eyeshine so feels like you're being hunted!

Sometimes he can't help himself and he'll sneak up on people with his eyes closed so he can open them over their shoulders or peeking around corners.

He has given the whole House about as many heart attacks as Lucifer has pulling those shenanigans, I swear…

Belphie is the only one generally unaffected and he always gets a big laugh from when Satan scares the others. The youngest boys just be like that, unfortunately...

Asmodeus

His eyes look like a kaleidoscope in low light. Every slight tilt of his head makes them reflect a whole new wave of fractals and colors.

Asmo is just as aware as Mammon that his eyes are gorgeous, but unlike Mammon he wouldn't DARE cover them up!! Sunglasses are for sunny days, which they don't ever get down in Hell.

Asmo's eyes are integral to his charm spells, so he takes extra care to be sure that they are as healthy and bright as they can be! He won't even accept eyebags.

Seeing Asmo's eyes in the dark kind of like seeing a trippy optical illusion just... staring at you. It's less unnerving than the others but it's equally hard to ignore.

To this day, he brags that it was his eyes that caught Solomon's attention when they first met. (Solomon actually wanted to pluck them out to use as potion ingredients, but he'll let that stay a secret.)

Beelzebub

Beel's eyes are probably the most normal of all of the family unless you look at them suuuper closely.

In his normal form, his eyes will just glow a nice shade of purple with nothing fancy happening. But in his demon form, they get that glassy, compounded film akin to insects with his iris still trapped and moving around under the surface.

Thankfully, they do not bulge out of his skull. They even give him the ability to see and track objects in fast motion, which does wonders for his reaction time.

... Somewhat unfortunately, though, his line of sight is more narrow than an inscets so it can look like he's trying to look everywhere all at once to compensate. His eyes will constantly dart around the room as if he is trying to follow the flight pattern of a coked out fly.

At least he mostly only uses this during fights or sporting events where they really come in handy. Honestly, if there's anything more jarring than red eyes, it's stumbling across bug-eyes that they can practically see right through you.

Belphegor

Belphie's eyes glow purple, but they don't shine nearly as brightly as his brothers'. In fact, they have a steady, calming pulse when stared at which is very unnerving.

Total darkness is really when Belphie gives off his best "sleep paralysis demon" vibes. His eyes are really relaxing to look at, but only in the same way that the little light on an angler fish would be enticing to its prey. It's a trap, don't fall for it.

Belphie CAN put people to sleep this way, but he hates doing it because it means he has to somehow not blink for ages. He really has to be motivated to want to see someone zonked out.

For a couple centuries, Mammon would send Belphie to talk to Lucifer if he was working too late in order to (compassionately) knock their brother out so he could get some rest.

Lucifer's since gotten wise to this trick, but sometimes if he's really been going too long he will forget until he wakes up on the nearest couch post Belphie "convincing" him to take a nap.

a/n: i'm sick right now and i wish i had someone to take care of me, so i decided to write this instead💀 also i’m trying out a slightly different format for shorter posts like this one, not sure how i feel about it yet

shin will literally drop everything to take care of you if he finds out you're sick. it doesn't matter if he's busy at work, he’ll close the bike shop without a second thought — you're always his number one priority, especially when you're not feeling well. he feels terrible when he comes home to find you all wrapped up in blankets, your voice scratchy as you weakly ask him if he can make you something to eat. he tries to make you homemade miso soup but he’s literally hopeless at cooking, so he ends up just making instant ramen instead. shin will cuddle with you and watch your favourite movies and tv shows, not worried about the fact he could get sick himself — he's willing to risk it if it means you start feeling better.

: ̗̀➛ wakasa

waka is already a clingy boyfriend, but when you're sick he’s extra affectionate with you because he knows you're not feeling well. he makes you something simple to eat like okayu (rice porridge) because it's easy on the stomach, but also because he’s not that great at cooking either. if you're feeling up to it he’ll run you a warm bath and will offer to help you wash your hair. he gets all pouty if you refuse to kiss him in fear of him getting sick, insisting that he’ll be fine and that one kiss won't hurt — however he ends up regretting his choices the following week, whining to you that he doesn't feel good. you have to spend the next few days taking care of him, and good luck because waka is so dramatic when he's sick.

omi was always responsible for taking care of his younger siblings when they got sick, and so he doesn't mind doing the same for you. he might complain about it a little, acting like your sickness is somehow an inconvenience to him, but underneath all that he's actually really worried about you and wants to do whatever he can to help you get better. he hates cooking with a passion, but he will go to the store for you instead and get you whatever you want to eat, as well as some tissues and medicine. omi will roll his eyes whenever you ask him to cuddle with you, but he always gives in because he secretly likes how needy you get when you're sick — he won't admit it out loud but he thinks it's adorable.

benkei is so attentive when you're sick, you won't have to lift a finger. he has no problem with taking time off at the gym so that he can take care of you. unlike the others, he's a great cook and will happily make you homemade chicken noodle soup — he insists on feeding it to you even if you're perfectly capable of eating by yourself. he keeps on top of your medicine and checks your temperature throughout the day, just to make sure that your fever isn't getting too high. he also encourages you to drink herbal teas like ginger or peppermint, because they can help you feel less congested and reduce nausea. benkei wants to do everything he can to make sure that you're feeling better as soon as possible.

Hello, i dont know if you're taking requests at the moment, but I was wondering if you could do a denji x little sister reader. You can write whatever you want. Also, sorry if this is wordy. This is my first time asking for to be written.

Platonic! Little sister! (Y/N) x Denji

You're the most important female in his life, not even Makima could compare to you. If you even utter a word about disliking Makima, all of a sudden his feelings are dropped. "Makima who?"

If you're a normal civilian, Denji's always going to make sure you're somewhere nice and safe before even thinking about hunting a devil. If you're a devil hunter, well, tough luck; Denji's still going to be protective of you and make the job take even longer than necessary because of his rebuttals. He just wants to make sure you're safe!

Can and will fight anyone who insults you. Yes, you may live on the streets with him. Yes, you might've not had a shower in who knows how long. Yes, your hair is matted, but they don't have the right to insult you. Denji might be a skinny person, but he's been on the streets since he was a kid with you (and he's a devil hunter) so he knows how to fight. Even when he does have his (Aki's) apartment and someone picks on you, well, he now has his own trash can to dump their remains in instead of a local dumpster.

Denji will always make sure you eat your food; especially your vegetables. No buts! You need to stay healthy!

Denji would actually die if something bad ever happens to you. He lost his mother and got placed into a shitty situation thanks to his dead dad, you're the only one left in his life and he'll fight tooth and nail to make sure you stay with him.

Denji was a little afraid that you wouldn't like Pochita when he brought him to your little shack one day. He really grew a bond with Pochita, but he doesn't want you to be upset or scared of the devil dog. He was very happy when you accepted Pochita with open arms.

Denji will let you use his jacket as a blanket. You can cuddle up with him and Pochita too if you're too cold. He knows he doesn't have much to provide for you (and he feels awful about it) but he wants to make sure you're at least warm at night.

Denji will always make sure you and Pochita eat first before him. Your needs come before his own.

When Denji moves in with Aki and Power, he's very cautious of them (especially Aki). Denji wants to make sure Aki and Power won't hurt you, so he's always keeping a watchful eye on them.

Denji was more lenient on Power. Of course, he still kept an eye open at all times, but he was glad to find you and her roughhousing one day (yes, you got hurt since she couldn't control her strength. She was really sorry about it but refused to admit it, so she let you play with Meowy all day).

Aki slowly started to gain Denji's trust when Denji miserably failed to make your favorite food on your birthday. Denji woke up extra early to surprise you but was having so much trouble that Aki smelt burnt food and ended up waking up. He found Denji dumping out another batch of burnt food and ended up helping him (just so he didn't waste all his money on restocking the groceries). Yes, Denji took all the credibility. No, Aki did not care enough to try and correct him.

Manga spoilers ahead, so if you don't know who Nayuta is, don't read!

When Nayuta comes into the picture, Denji was a little hesitant of it. Two kids to take care of? He can barely take care of himself on good days! Kishibe insisted that Denji take Nayuta in so he really didn't have much of a choice.

There's some silent jealousy between the two of you, but Denji is too dense to realize it. Denji thinks you two stare at each other because you're very curious and excited to become friends/sisters! Denji was very relieved to see you both coloring together (Nayuta was ruining your zebra with red crayon, so you ruined her dog with a blue one).

When you and Nayuta finally got along with each other, Denji finally realized the rivalry the two of you had going on. He felt a little bad that he didn't realize sooner since he could've tried to help you two get along, but he's really glad that you both were able to set aside your differences to focus on your main goal: care for your big brother, Denji!

Now you and Nayuta do everything together! Drawing, watching TV, playing at the playground, you're basically inseparable twins! You even share the same classroom together (if you're around her age). If you're older than Nayuta, you drop her off at her school and pick her up when it's over. Nayuta is always bouncing with unseen excitement when she sees you and Denji from her school gates, ready to take her home.

I really hope you like dogs because Denji has a lot of them now that Makima's gone. Denji will build a fence in his apartment to keep them out of your room if you're allergic or dislike them. If you do like them, that's great! You can help Denji and Nayuta walk them, feed them, bathe them; it'll be fun!

Denji really loves you and Nayuta and is very protective of you. He knows you and him have had a hard uprising, he just wants to make sure you're happy and content with the life you have now with him, Nayuta, and many dogs. If you're not happy, he'll try his darn best to make it better for you.

The More to Love The Dante, Vergil, & Nero with a chubby S/O.

Dante

He likes to eat a lot, in fact, eating whole pizzas by himself is something that he does regularly, much to everyone else's dislike. He's glad he has someone to try out different things with, like if there's a new pizza combo he can get at his favorite spot, he'll want to share it with them if he doesn't inhale it all himself. He wants them to eat unabashedly just as he does, and will always make sure that they're taken care of. One thing that Dante wouldn't want is for them to hold back out of fear of their weight turning him away when that wouldn't be the case at all. He loves that they're a little husky, leaving more for him to hug and hold when he has the time to between jobs and such. Dante likes the way they squirm in his hands when he massages or pinches their belly or the fat on the sides of their hips. God, it's so cute... he could just eat them up.

The cambion likes to tease and poke their chub when he can, doing it in passing when walking by or trying to get their attention.

"Hey cupcake, whatcha up to? Aww, is somebody mad?", he'll reach up to pinch their cheeks next, chuckling as they pout at him.

He loves to tease, it's just who he is, but if it ever bugs or rubs his honey the wrong way he'll knock it off. Holding his hands up in his defense to go "Alright, alright" in a dismissive tone, even if he does well to not push them any further. If they ever want to lose weight, he'll be a bit sad, but will support his partner however he can.

Vergil

He's not well acquainted with others who are shaped like them, and he doesn't really mind that his S/O is chubby. He just thinks that his partner being softer than what he's used to is intriguing. They're body just has extra nutrients stored within it for later use, if anything that's smart. He isn't a big eater, not like his brother, so when he has a little more on his plate than what he can finish he hands it off to them. He likes watching them eat, and he likes to provide them with the things that they like to eat even more. Watching them light up when he hands them the plate fills his heart with mirth, a certain satisfaction that he didn't think he could feel. He takes it as an opportunity to see what they like and what they dislike, making note of their comfort foods and etc.

He also finds them pleasant to embrace, liking to lay over them and to rest his head on their chest. The added warmth is nice, especially since he tends to run cold. The son of Sparda enjoys to cuddle with his S/O and will pointedly glare at anyone that tries to get him up from his lover's arms. It's even more foolish to try to insult them for their body. If he was hostile while laying with them, he will lash out in his own way against someone that tries to frame their plumpness as being a bad thing. Vergil won't tolerate it, not one bit.

Nero

The devil hunter's favorite thing to do is to hug his S/O from behind, wrapping his arms around their trunk and pulling them towards himself. He likes to feel the way they laugh in his hold and how they move and try to escape his little kisses. He won't admit it, but he likes the way they feel in his grasp. Their pudge is soft against his toned arms from the training to follow in his uncle's footsteps, and he's happy to see them so full of life. Nero might poke fun of his S/O here and there, but it's nothing serious. He'd prefer them to have a little meat on their bones anyhow or not worry about how much they eat. He finds it endearing and a little fun to watch how well they enjoy the foods that Kyrie makes when he visits her or happens to make a pit stop at a restaurant with them.

He's super observant of their diet and makes sure to have a snack or two on hand in case they get hungry or peckish. Nero looks out for his S/O and makes sure that they're healthy and taken care of above all else. If anyone says anything to them, he's the first to step up and get in their face.

"What'd you say to them? Come on, why don't you say that again?", he'd growl. Draping an arm around their shoulder while telling the jackass to flock off if they know what's good for 'em.

He'll be damned if there's anyone who tries to make them feel bad about their size or weight. As someone who also struggled with his own image, he gets it and knows what it's like to be afraid or worry about how others might perceive them. Regardless, Nero assures them that he'll love them no matter what.

Lucifer has this one specific record that he plays solely when he's missing Lilith. and his brothers know when he does miss her because they'll all sit outside his room and listen to it with him.

Mammon secretly collects keychains he thinks you'll like but has them all hidden away in a box because he's too much of tsundere to give them to you.

Levi has a separate wishlist on Akuzon just for you, so when he buys you things you like/want, he quickly hands them to you and runs away before you can even say thank you (he doesn't want you to see how red his face is)

Satan designs bookmarks for you and slips them into any books you are currently reading. he won't admit it, but it makes his heart skip a beat when you immediately smile upon finding the bookmarks.

Asmo makes sure to pay attention to which color nail polish or facemasks you like best so he can buy some extras for your little self-care basket he keeps on his bathroom counter for you.

Beel has a mental list of all your comfort foods and drinks that he buys for you. he even has Satan put a spell on them so he won't accidentally eat them (they are emergency feel-better snacks just for you because he doesn't like it when you feel you upset)

Belphie taught himself how to knit so he could make you a big soft blanket that was covered in his scent for you to sleep with (he's currently teaching himself how to sew a pillowcase for you covered in tiny sleepy sheep)

Diavolo always makes sure to have the first dance of the night with you at any event that he holds in his castle. he lowkey finds it amusing to watch Lucifer and his brothers get all antsy about not being able to fight over who gets to dance with you first.

Barbatos always has your favorite teas stocked up in a separate section of the cupboard right next to a teacup he had custom-made for you and only you to drink out of.

Simeon always texts you to come over whenever he's finished writing something, you're the only one who gets to read his rough drafts and make little annotations for him (let's not forget about the little hearts you add at the bottom of each page to signal that it's been fully annotated)

Solomon takes time out of his weekends to sit down and teach you spells, hexes, and potions so that you'll do better in class. he also makes sure to make notebooks for each topic with reminders and notes so that you'll have a quick reference guide for when he's not with you (and it's an excuse for him to spend time with you)

Luke always sets aside a serving for you of whatever he has baked so that you can try it before Beel inhales everything (as if he'd do the same for the brothers! besides Simeon, you're his favorite person)

Winter Holiday with Twisted Wonderland

Hi everyone! It's been forever since I made an actual post. I've been trying to write for the past month, but the world just does not want me to lol. But I made it through 2023 and now it's the new year, so I thought it was time I post something again.

This is basically little blurbs of how I think the boys would spend their winter holidays. I'm trying to keep everything ambiguous since I don't know what they celebrate, and I also want everyone who reads this to feel somewhat included at least, so this is me trying my best. If it feels a little rough, that's largely because I'm still trying to fight the writer's block lol. Still, I hope y'all enjoy!

First Years

Ace Trappola: He mostly spends his time relaxing. It's not much different for him than any other season. He enjoys the vibes of winter, but he's not the biggest fan of the cold, so he does his best to stay inside. A big secret of his is that he'll secretly binge all of the cheesy romance movies airing around this time. He'd never admit it though.

Deuce Spade: A lot of his time is spent with his mom, as per usual. Lots of shopping days and going to winter farmers' markets. They also spend time at home drinking hot cocoa and watching holiday movies. He does also enjoy a good afternoon jog through the snow if it's not too much.

Jack Howl: He loves the winter very much. It's his favorite season. He spends most of his days outside playing in the snow with his siblings and enjoying the cold air. The one thing he dislikes his how he grows a double coat to keep him warm, meaning he sheds a lot more than usual. Other than that, he's having fun. Anytime it snows, his tail is going wild with excitement.

Epel Felmier: From dawn until dusk, he's either in the fields tending to crops or out in the crowds selling products. When he's done with work, he likes to curl up in front of a warm fire and work on his carvings. His hands always have to be moving, even when he's meant to be relaxing.

Ortho Shroud: He's spending time with his brother. Idia is not the best at socializing, so he does his best to make sure Idia has someone during these months considering how bad seasonal depression can get. He's also trying to help Idia get more out there, and enjoy the festivities of the season, even if he knows it won't work.

Sebek Zigvolt: He spends winter the same way he spends the rest of his time, with Malleus. Or, that's what he wants to be doing. Instead, he's given a vacation, much to his displeasure. So now he's spending time with his family. It's a little awkward being gone from his station for so long, but he will admit (to himself, begrudgingly) that it is somewhat nice to have a break.

Second Years

Riddle Rosehearts: Winter is always a bit strange for him. He's so used to spending it at home under strict conditions that it takes him some time to get used to the freedom he now has. He likes to spend his time sitting by a fireplace with a book and some tea. Now that he's independent, he likes having this time to relax instead of worrying about family.

Ruggie Bucchi: He spends time back in his childhood home. He visits his grandma and helps take care of the neighborhood kids. They're full of energy and like playing around when it snows, so of course he joins them. He'll also spend time cooking warm meals with whatever ingredients he can scrounge up.

Azul Ashengrotto: Winters are a busy time for him. It's the season of giving according to some, so he's taking full advantage in any way he can. He's striking deals with anyone he comes across and just generally doing the same shady things he usually does. However, he is also consciously taking breaks and making sure to spend time with his family, or at least calling them if he's above the surface.

Jade Leech: He's tending to his terrariums. Winter is not the best for a lot of his plants, so he has to give them extra attention lest they wilt. It's a lot of hard work, but he's very dedicated to them and he's willing to put in the effort. He also begins working on winter-specific plant life and fungi as well so that he can grow his collection.

Floyd Leech: He gets the winter zoomies. The cold makes him extra hyper and excitable, so he's running around a lot more than usual. Ever since discovering snow, he's loved it, so he's spending most of his time rolling around and playing in it. He also loses whatever loose sleep schedule he had and just passes out whenever his body physically can't anymore.

Kalim al-Asim: He prefers summer, but winter is fun too! While he is busy helping his dad and getting trained to succeed him, he still makes sure to take time to have fun. He and his siblings will go out and play around in the snow and just have fun however they can. He can't always handle the cold like his siblings can, but he does his best to keep up with them.

Jamil Viper: He's given a vacation on the request (read: demands) of Kalim, so he's relaxing. For once he has no responsibilities, and he's living his best life. He's making warm curry for himself and catching up on books he's never had the chance to read. He does have the urge to go back to work early, but he forces those urges away.

Silver Vanrouge: He's spending time with his father. Winter makes him extra tired, so he spends a lot of it inside sleeping. Lilia stays with him for a lot of it, and they bond. He'll cook warm meals and they'll watch movies together. They also make sure to visit Malleus often so that he isn't lonely.

Third Years

Trey Clover: The bakery is busy this time of year, so he's mostly occupied with that. He's baking, running the store, making deliveries, and keeping up with orders. There's very little free time, but the time he does have is spent with his siblings. They play in the snow together, watch movies, and drink warm cocoa by the fire. His parents will also join in if they have the time, which is even less common than him.

Cater Diamond: He's keeping up with all of the winter trends of course. He's taking selfies in the snow, reviewing all of the winter exclusive products available, and blasting classic winter music. He loves this time of year because of how festive and fun it is, but it also drains him very quickly on the inside, so the seasonal depression hits quick as well. He won't let it show though, at least until he's alone.

Leona Kingscholar: He does not care. The only difference is that winter is cold which makes him more tired than usual, but that's it. He might stay inside more to avoid the snow, but when you live in a castle, there's plenty to do inside as well, so he's fine. Cheka might force him outside, but he's not enjoying it at all. The snow bothers him and so do the festivities.

Vil Schoenheit: Most likely, he's working on a winter-themed project. A movie, play, photoshoot, something along those lines. It's tiring work, as per usual, but it's what he's required to do, so he does it. What he would like to be doing is relaxing, however. He actually quite enjoys the wintertime, so it'd be nice to spend it alone and without stress. If he could, he would relax at home, maybe even with his dad if he were free. They could finally spend time together and just be normal.

Rook Hunt: He's spending time with his family. It's so rare for all of them to get together, so it's nice to be able to see everyone at once like this. They are also a very competitive family, so many days are spent playing games and having fun competitions amongst one another. Board games, games in the snow, or just random games made up on the spot. It's fun for everyone.

Idia Shroud: He is, as expected, by himself playing games. He may go back to S.T.Y.X. if his parents request it, but he's not leaving his room. In his own way, he is being festive. He's playing winter-themed games, watching anime that takes place in the winter, etc. etc., but that's as far as he'll go. He's not the most fond of the winter festivities because that's normie behavior, but he might be convinced by Ortho to come outside and be festive at least once, as a treat.

Malleus Draconia: Usually, he's alone. Winter can be a lonely time for those without family. However, this year, he does have a family. He has Lilia and Silver, and Sebek too. They all make sure to visit him whenever possible, even if they can't be with him all the time during winter. After all, they do get their time off, so they're allowed time to themselves. However, they still visit him, and that makes him happy. He also spends time with his grandmother when she is available. Still, for a good majority, he finds himself alone, wandering the halls as usual. Sad.

Lilia Vanrouge: He's spending time with Silver at home, mostly. He makes an effort to visit Malleus when possible, but he's mostly relaxing on his own. He and Silver have fun bonding together, something they don't get to do often. He also makes sure to see Sebek and his family too. He tries to cook some hot meals for Silver, but Silver will not let him in the kitchen, so he's upset, but he's still having fun with his time off.

Dreamling Circus AU

[CW animal death (rabbit), violence (humans)]

So, Hob is broke, homeless, and will do anything for some food and shelter. He takes a job at the Burgess Circus that no-one else will work at because Burgess is an asshole and old fool and perv and everything bad that people can come up with. Hob doesn't like the man but he's desperate for a job so he sucks it up and applies.

Hob can throw knives. Quite well, but not good enough to make it to the show. He can throw knives outside and entertain people before it is showtime. But his main job is to care for the animals and... beasts.

So, logically, there aren't any real beasts, right? Right...? They are all just exotic animals, animals that were born with some mutations, or even mutilated animals that he can only feel sorry for. Same goes for most of the strange people that are a part of the circus. A woman with an unusual amount of body hair, who is NOT a werewolf. A muscular man, who is NOT a demigod, just really strong. So, logically, the vampire also has to be fake, right?

Except at the end of the day, while everyone sleeps in their huts, the "vampire" remains in a cage. Nobody dares to even come close unless they absolutely have to, but Hob is told to toss a small animal in the cage. He is not sure how he feels about it. He leaves that cage for the last, preferring to feed the tigers before approaching the strange, naked man in a cage. And when the night is dark and everyone is asleep and Hob is sore and tired from all the work, he carefully brings a bowl of soup to the cage.

The black-haired man merely looks at it with disgust and then continues to stare into emptiness. There is an air of pride around him, even though he is naked, humiliated at daily basis, locked up in a cage. “Would you really prefer to eat a live rabbit over soup?” Hob asks incredulously. He gets no reply, but the "vampire" looks at him again. His eyes are black, but it must be from the dim light around them.

“Serve yourself, then,” Hob shrugs and opens a small cage full of rabbits, taking an unlucky or lucky one out and tossing it in the cage with the man. He expects the rabbit to land on its feet and run. They are fast motherfuckers and Hob will surely never see it again. Well, half of that is true.

The rabbit never lands, as the "vampire" (he can't be a real vampire, right?) lunges, almost faster than light, and catches it, burying his fangs in the squealing animal and silencing it forever. Hob takes several steps back but doesn't run. He watches on in fascination.

The black-haired man licks his hands clean when he is done with the animal. He ignores the filth - loose fur and some straws - on his hands, just licks and sucks his skin until he's consumed every single drop of blood. When he is done, he looks at Hob, but he still doesn't look like a wild beast. He looks pleading, hungry, helpless. If he were a vampire, theoretically speaking, one rabbit probably wouldn't be enough, Hob reasons as he tosses another one into the cage before turning his back to leave before he could do anything more stupid.

The next day, Hob confronts Burgess. The Magus keeps insisting that everything in his Circus is real, even the werewolf and demigod and dragon and all that bullshit. Hob can't get him to admit to anything, but he notices that Burgess calls the vampire "it" while everyone else gets to be treated like human. “Don't worry, it's not human,” Burgess assures Hob. “Just do your job or leave.”

Hob has a minor moral crisis. If he leaves, he will be hungry, homeless, and the winter is coming and he won't find another job at this time of the year. But if he stays, he will have to be witness to the inhuman treatment the "vampire" is getting. It's certain death or basically allowing slavery.

He allows himself to contemplate for another few days, often stopping by the vampire's cage. He never speaks, but he always looks up at Hob with hope. There is not always enough extra "food" that Hob can give the man, but he tries to make it up to him in other ways. By seeing him, by acknowledging him.

Finally, Hob snaps (there was no other way it could go, was it?) and opens the cage. He has to steal the key from Burgess’ neck chain, but fortunately, he is a bit of a thief. He naively expects gratitude when he opens the door, but instead, he gets tackled to the ground, head yanked to the side and fangs in his neck. He makes no sound and tries to make peace with his deities, thinking that at least one of them will get to roam free and hungerless.

But the vampire doesn't kill Hob. He drinks for a while, his whole body warming as he does, and then he reluctantly pulls away, kissing the spot that he almost mutilated in silent apology. “Stay down,” he says quietly, and his voice is much deeper than Hob expected. Pleasant to listen to for sure. And not that Hob has any other option but to liten.

Several minutes later, the whole Circus is on fire. There was a brief moment of screaming, but those screams didn't last longer than seconds. Now it's just animals roaring and howling as they run free, and flames consuming all buildings. Hob finally realises that he should get up and save himself when a wooden hut collapses next to him. He is dizzy but manages to stand, but he only makes a few steps before he is stumbling to the ground again.

Strong arms wrap around him and lift him up without effort. It is the vampire, now wearing a black robe, face and neck covered in blood. Hob stares in awe and fascination as the mythical creature carries him away from the danger.

“I may have taken more than I should have,” the vampire says sheepishly as he helps Hob stand on unsteady legs, the circus burning in the distance, nobody screaming or calling for help because they are all dead.

“I can give it back,” the vampire suggests, and it takes Hob's fuzzy mind embarrassingly long to understand what he means.

“No, thanks,” he grimaces, and the vampire snorts as if he had done something endearingly stupid.

“How can I repay you, then?”

Hob feels like he could ask for anything then. Power, eternal life, fortune. But hunger and losing it all had put his priorities in order. “I don't suppose you know of a job?” he asks with a laugh. “I'm recently once again unemployed.”

The vampire tilts his head, studying Hob. Hopefully, he doesn't read minds, Hob thinks. Finally, he says: “I have a long road ahead of me. A travel companion that knows these lands would be appreciated.”

-he loves them a lot tbh, but he only shows it in small ways, soft touches, kinder words, flicks to the forehead and arms, small gifts, remembering important dates(good and bad), will intentionally track animals if he knows something is coming up and his s/o likes a specific meat he'll make sure to hunt it and bring it back for pearson

Daryl Dixon x Fem!Reader Word Count: 2.2k Era: S4E15 Warnings: Attempted SA, violence, fluff, little bit of angst Content Description: When Daryl is with The Claimers, the group come across an injured and dehydrated young woman. Daryl, quick on his feet "claims" her before any of the other men can, not knowing what they'd do to her. She's terrified but Daryl takes it upon himself to care for and protect her. A/N: First part is from Daryl's POV and then the rest is Y/N's.

~~ Daryl walked along the train track with The Claimers, with Joe as they chatted, while also trying to figure out how to escape them. He had to admit he respected their rule system. It was basic but kept everyone in line.

It was only the thought of Rick and the others, lost out there, looking for a new home, possibly looking for him that kept him fighting. He couldn't abandon them. They were his family. Real family.

"Well, lookie here. Joe!" Tony, the dark skinned guy, called out. He was looking at something in a ditch to the side of the train track. Daryl, along with the others, starting walking over.

"Holy shit. It's a girl!" Dan, the fattest of the group, called back. His voice was slimy. Daryl ran over and saw a young woman lying in the dirt, covered in blood and weak from exhaustion.

"Claimed!" Daryl shouted before anyone could even think about it. He didn't like these guys. Didn't trust they wouldn't hurt the girl.

"Aw shit." Dan groaned, stepping away.

Harley, Joe's right hand, spoke to Joe. "Can he do that, boss?"

Joe looked between Daryl and the young woman for a moment before shrugging and walking away. Daryl took that as a yes and rushed forward to help her. He crouched beside her. Len watched, his eyes bore into Daryl's back.

"What?" He turned to look at Len but Len gave one last glare before moving away. Something in that look felt like a threat to Daryl. He'd have to be extra vigilant from now on.

"Hey." Daryl said quietly, not touching the young woman who was trying to get away from him, shuffling along the dirt. He looked at her legs, covered in dirt but otherwise seemed uninjured. She was wearing ripped black jeans and awhite t-shirt, plain brown boots. It didn't look as if she'd dropped a backpack or anything nearby. Someone did this to her. She could have just been escaping walkers but something about this didn't feel right to Daryl.

He reached out a hand but didn't touch her. "It's all right. I'm not gonna hurt ya. I wanna help. Can you walk? Tell me yer name at least? I'm Daryl." He stayed crouched just in front of her but her eyes were somewhere above him, looking at what Daryl could only guess were a couple of the guys who stayed to watch. He ignored them and kept his hand out to her.

"They won't hurt you either. I promise." Daryl soothed, still with his hand out. She was scared out of her mind and rightly so. Daryl wondered how she'd made it this far in her state.

Tentatively she got to her feet and stood, ignoring Daryl's hand, and leaned against a tree for support.

Joe whistled and everyone turned. "Right there. That's our abode for the evening." He motioned to a metal building next to them. Daryl turned back to the girl.

"Come with me. I'll keep you safe." Daryl told her, hand still open for her.

I had no idea if I could trust him but when you had nothing left, you had nothing to lose, right?

"I'm, Y/N." My throat was so dry that my voice came out rather raspy. I tried to clear my throat and ended up dry coughing.

The man, Daryl, rummaged in a plastic bag and handed me a bottle. I took it slowly, opened it and sniffed. It smelled fine and so I took a sip instantly feeling better but craving more.

"Nice you meet ya, Y/N. Can you walk?" He took the bottle back and still had his hand out. The others at the top of the ditch stared down at us, no, at me. I looked back at Daryl and weighed my options. I took his hand and pushed myself off the tree. He helped me up the ditch but my ankle gave in under me. I'd twisted it on a fallen branch escaping walkers.

"Come on." The grey-haired man muttered and turned away.

"That's Joe." Daryl told me. "He's the man in charge." He put my arm around his shoulder and his other on my hip. It felt strange but he seemed safe. We followed the others into the building.

"Why did you 'claim' me earlier?" I rasped out, hobbling on my bad foot. I hated that I needed to rely on a man I didn't know.

Daryl looked up at the backs of the other men and slowed us down a little. He lowered his voice almost to a whisper when he answered. "I couldn't let any of them." He nodded toward them. It explained very little except for the fact that it seemed he was saving me from a worse fate. "Don't worry. I won't let anything happen to you."

"I wish I could believe that, Daryl." I muttered and then grunted as I put too much pressure on my ankle.

"What happened?" Daryl asked as we crossed the threshold of the building. I felt like I was walking into death's pit. My heart hammered, looking around. We were in some sort of abandoned warehouse/garage. I could feel prying eyes on me as we walked deeper inside.

"Claimed!"

"Claimed." One at a time the men shouted as they got into the rusted cars.

One of the men threw his bag onto the back of the pickup truck Daryl was guiding me too. He smirked nastily at the pair of us. "Claimed."

Daryl grunted and steered us away to a corner of the room. Here he let go, picking up a plank of wood to put over a tire and gestured for me to sit. He then pulled over a box and sat opposite me. Immediately I was expecting an interrogation of some sort, instead he lifted my injured ankle onto his lap and very gently took my boot off to look at it. I watched him work, mesmerised.

"So what's your story, Sweetheart?" Joe had followed us and was smiling down at me.

"Some people ran into our camp, threatened us with guns to give them our stuff." I explained. "One of the guys with us, starting mouthing off and they just shot him. A couple of the others tried to fight them then and so me and my sister ran. There was this group of the dead, coming right at us. We tried to fight them off but ran instead. Me and my sister got split up and I still had the dead on my tail and I fell and twisted my ankle, I tried to keep running but fell in that ditch. I was only there for a couple minutes before you guys found me." I was breathing heavy by the end, reliving the moment.

"Lucky we did." Joe mused then turned to Daryl. "Anything happens it's on you."

Daryl turned back to me. "It's just a sprain, I think. Gotta stay off it for a bit." He slipped my boot back on and stood to rummage around. I watched between him and the other guys. He was making a space to sleep in the corner. "Rest here." His eyes were gentle as he looked at me. Sympathetic. I still couldn't trust him, as much as I wanted to. If I'd learned anything it was to not trust anything or anyone blindly.

"Hey, Daryl." One of the men barked. The one who had claimed the pickup. "Ya gonna share her with the rest of the class?" He laughed and the hairs on the back of my neck stood on end.

"Shut the fuck up, Len, or I'll shut it for ya." Daryl growled at him.

Len smiled menacingly at me and backed up. "I was just joking. Don't get ya panties in a twist."

"So what's ya name, darling?" Another of the men walked over to us, smiling. Again with that sinister, fake smile. I glared at him and said nothing. "Don't be a bitch. We saved your life."

Daryl stood up and blocked his view. "Back off, Dan." His voice was low, dangerous. Very unlike the way he was talking to me. Maybe I was wrong about him.

Dan lifted his hands, smirking. "I didn't mean any harm. Just wanna get to know our pretty little guest." He looked past Daryl and smirked creepily at me. I got chills and hugged myself. How was I gonna get out of here?

"I said back off or I'll-" Daryl took out his knife and took a step closer to Dan.

"Hey!" Joe yelled from his perch. "Get some sleep, boys." Everyone backed away to their respective sleeping areas.

Daryl crouched next to me and reached for my hand I hadn't realised I was clutching. I let him take it and he pulled a rag from his back pocket, wrapping it delicately but securely around my palm. I hadn't even realised I'd cut it, I was so full of adrenaline.

I didn't get a wink of sleep that night, my heart raced as if fighting to get away. My body was too alive with fear. Daryl sat close to me, keeping watch but at one point I awoke, having just closed my eyes when I felt hands on my arms.

"Me and you are gonna have a little fun." Big, rough hands pinched my skin, yanking me to my feet. A noise escaped me as the large one, Dan, started dragging me away. He pulled me close to his body, hands all over me, his breath, hot and heavy in my ear. "I'm claiming you now." He sneered.

"HEY!" Daryl yelled and yanked him off me, or he tried to as Dan was still holding me tightly. I fell on my ankle and yelped, scrambling on the floor to get away as Daryl had Dan pinned to the ground, punching his face over and over. My back hit the wall and there I stayed, wide-eyed.

The grey-haired man came over and pulled Daryl off, throwing him aside. Daryl got to his feet and wiped his nose where Dan had managed to get a punch in.

"Fellas! What's going on here? Dan, you know the rules." He sighed and looked over at Daryl and then me, cowering against the wall. I gasped as his eyes bore into mine.

"She-" Dan spluttered, getting up from the ground. "That bastard can't claim her! She's fresh meat, man, I-" Joe swung his arm at Dan's jaw, making him stumble.

"Boys. Teach him. All the way." With that Joe walked back to his sleeping area. Daryl rushed to me and put an arm around me, guiding me back to my sleeping area.

"You all right?" He put his hands on my arms, smoothing my sleeves and looking for marks. I could feel bruises forming on my arms from where Dan had gripped me so hard.

"I think so." I whispered, hugging my knees.

"I'm sorry." He whispered, looking pained that he couldn't stop Dan sooner. My heart softened for him.

Later that night after it seemed everyone was asleep Daryl was lying on his back just a couple feet away. He sat up leaning against the wall, he turned to look at me, noticing I was awake too.

"What was your sister's name?" He whispered.

"Rebecca." I fiddled with the makeshift bandage on my hand. The image of her short cropped dark hair and wide smile came to mind. I hoped she was alive. "She's older by about 13 years."

"Big gap." Daryl grunted.

"Yeah, I'm the baby of the family." I smiled.

"I had a brother. He was older too."

I looked over at him but he was staring at his lap. "What happened?"

"He was killed." His voice turned dark and I had the impression I wasn't getting the full truth but I didn't push. I didn't need to. "I'm sure your sister's okay. I can help you find her. You could even join us when..." He trailed off.

"No offence but I don't want to be around these guys."

Daryl shook his head. "No. My group before...before we got split up."

I waited for him to finish but he didn't. I opened my mouth to ask more but decided against it.

"Stay with me." He whispered so quietly I had to lean closer to hear.

"Hm?"

"When I leave these guys, come with me." He looked up at me.

"Well, it's not like I got better options." I joked. He smiled and looked back down at his lap. I got up from the floor and gingerly lowered myself next to him on the floor.

"That's fair." He muttered.

I found myself growing more comfortable and leaned my head on his shoulder. He stiffened but didn't move.

"I'm glad you found me." I admitted.

"Me too." His voice was soft, his breath brushed my hair.

I looked up to see him looking down at me and my chest fluttered. My heart picked up pace and my eyes flickered to his lips. He leaned down and then his lips were on mine, soft, slow, tender, warm. My heart melted at his touch and I reached up to cup his face. His hand found my waist and we stayed like that, sharing that kiss a little longer before pulling away.

"I promised I'd protect you. I meant that." Daryl whispered, a new fierceness in his voice. I pressed my forehead to his and closed my eyes.

"I'll stay with you, Daryl." Knowing I could never forget about this stranger and knowing I didn't want to lose him.

"We'll find Rebecca and my family and a new home. Together."

I was watching the movie when I realice that most stories doesn't show the troubles of having to adapt your life to someone else because now they are together

Is kinda like when you moved somewhere else, it even works with family, I mean I did it like 5 times in my life (it was tortuous but I couldn't do anything)

Victor Van Dort

For Victor getting use to the marriage life isn't going to be easy, if you two knew each other for a while now or even was in a relationship before it would be a little easier but still not completely, and if the case is that it was a arranged marriage then he will be way too anxious while trying to adjust to everything

First of all, marriage is a really important thing in the time he lives and is something expected so that alone already puts a lot of pressure on him, adding that he has a really bad self-esteem due how his mother not only treat him but how she talks about him, and since his family have money (and that could be the main reason of a arranged marriage) he kinda doubts if he could be a good husband and maybe even thinks that this marriage is just for the benefits (if you two already know each other from more time it would be more like a fear rather than a doubt)

Honestly, Víctor is just too scare to mess things up or even make it uncomfortable for you two, he will extra anxious if he does love you or if you two have just met, but in both cases are a diferent kind of anxiety, in the first is because of that love that he is scare of messing things up, and in the second is because the situation is already awkward enough for him to be clumsy and messy

Once you two start to live together he will spend quite a while feeling anxious and tense, not fully knowing how is he suppoused to act, stuck between wanting to give you space and trying to make sure you feel comfortable. It is too much for him and soon, if you aren't the one breaking the awkwardness he will be the one to speak up, admiting that he doesn't really know what he is doing but he wants to try his best, and actually after that he start to grow more comfortable and let him to slowly start to get used to the marriage life without feeling like everything he does will mess up things (and if you feel as awkward as him will help him to feel not so alone in this, in the other hand if you are comprehensive and even comforting he will feel a little flustered but also embarrassed, but it isn't something too bad, it helps at the end)

Victor is the type to be willing to adapt himself to you and that is why communication is the key with him, even without much words as long as you are willing to be sincere and don't be too demanding and critical of him then things will go slow and smooth, the love and care grows slowly but it is obvious (and if you two were already together then that will slowly get you two closer). Although, he need some reasurance that is fine for him to don't give in on everything

Is more likely that you two end up being a kind of marriage that grows to have a complete rutine without even planning it, but is something rather comforting where you two grow comfortable and even end up coordinated with each other, still that doesn't mean that he won't be willing to do things that get outside of the usual rutine with you (he has the money to afford it anyways, as long it isn't something that make him uncomfortable or let him without personal space and time, he is patient and willing but will get mad if he runs out of patient or if is forced into something)

Emily

Emily is completely in love with the idea of getting married, still she is expecting to marry the love of her life, her soulmate! so, somehow, when you two get together she knows you are her soulmate (still there is not pressure or expectations to be met, she does love you for how you are)

Due Emily's entusiasm it won't take long for you two to get married, when she knows she is in love she doesn't see reason to wait, still she is willing to take it slowly if you prefer it that way (but will never stop saying how much she want to spend the rest of her afterlife with you)

Emily is a totally entusiast for the newlywed life that is a waiting for you two, however, her own entusiasm is what lead her to don't leave the honey moon phase for a while, she just can't help but feel like in heaven after you two get together (specially if you agree or let her be all the entusiastic she wants because she won't see anything wrong then)

Still, despite what it may seem, Emily truly love you and make efforts to know more about you, she isn't only interested on getting married but also in getting to know you and in sharing her life with you, that is why she is more than willing to learn about your normal life and rutine and making effords to make it agree with her own rutine. As well, she does expect that you do your efforts for the relasionship, she is patient and understanding and will love to get to know you and your own way to do things but she needs your confirmation and reasurance about the relasionship, as well the demonstration that you are willing to do some things in her way, even reasurance without words and just by actions will work, at the end she just want to share her life with you and be together but in a relationship one can't do all the work

Emily may be the type to believe blinfuly in her partner but she isn't stupid in the slighest, it would take her a while but at the end she will learn to respect your own space and time, just as she takes time to herself to be with her friends (although, she will be more than willing to just bring you with her wherever she goes)

Even so, it would take her a while to get used to don't be so clingy or even needy because of how much she loves being with you; and just like that it will take her a while to grow fully comfortable around you too, not that she doesn't feel comfortable with you is just that she want you to see her as someone pretty and she tent to get nervous or even embarrassed when she loses her eye or get clumsy, so she needs some time to reach the comfort where she doesn't feel like needing to act perfect all the time (your reasurance can help, reminding her that you love her just as she is brings her a lot of joy and comfort)

In the afterlife you won't really have much problems for what you could be worried about so is more likely that if you two grows to have a rutine is after a long time of being together, because before that Emili wants to have all kind of little adventures with you

here's pt 3 of wilmon headcanons ft. the boys being casually protective and besotted with each other

wille knew that simon's relationship with his father was bad and he knew about simon getting the drugs from micke but it isn't until after they're properly together that he finds out the full story. simon cries nearly the entire time he tells wille about it, and wille pulls him into his lap, hugging him tightly and pressing kisses into his hair to help him calm down

since the incident with august, wille avoids going to the shooting range. he scared himself a little bit with how willing he was to hold a gun to someone's head, so he doesn't want to give himself anymore experience holding a weapon like that. it also doesn't help that marcus still works there, and wille is pretty determined to never see that guy again

wille isn't worried about seeing marcus because he's insecure; he knows simon loves him and that they're in this for the long haul. the issue is that rosh and ayub had told him (knowing simon wouldn't) about some of the things marcus had done/said to simon and wille is PISSED. like he recognizes simon's faults in the short lived relationship but he doesn't think it's any excuse for some of the things marcus said. basically, he's pretty sure that if he runs into that guy again, he's gonna end up in another fight

much like rosh and ayub were, linda is very wary of wille the second time around. she's as polite as ever because that's who she is, but her eyes watch the prince carefully and she doesn't smile at him as much as she used to. wille notices but just takes it because he's convinced he deserves it, but simon stands his ground against his mama, silently begging her to knock it off and trying to convince her that wille won't hurt him again

it takes a while, but linda eventually comes around when wille shows up at her door one day, saying that simon was having a bad day and asked him to come over. she hadn't even been aware that her son (who had always been a mama's boy) wasn't feeling well, but he'd told wille and the prince had immediately come over. she sees them curled up on simon's bed, her son barely even visible as wille holds him and speaks softly to him, and she realizes how deeply these two care for each other. wille gets an extra long hug from her when he leaves that night

the first time they spend the night together after wille's speech, they both get shoved onto the table at breakfast the next morning by the boys of forest ridge. both their faces are tomato red and simon is attempting to hide his face behind his hands, but both of them are giggling and sharing shy glances, which just increases the teasing and friendly torture for the rest of the day

wille still stands by the fact that it's a stupid, fucked up tradition and it's no one's business who was in whose room or when, and simon agrees wholeheartedly, but they both mind it a little less when they have to deal with it together, knowing that everyone in the House supports them and treats them the same as they so everyone else

wille is usually prone to big gestures of affection (along with just constantly telling simon he loves him and the egregious amounts of pda), but simon is all about the little things. he keeps a bag of wille's favorite candy in his locker, he walks wille back to forest ridge when they're done for the day, he writes little notes and slips them into wille's workbooks, etc. when any of these occur, wille swears he falls in love all over again

wille is 100% the "plan out the next 10 years of our life" type of significant other. he wouldn't admit any of this to simon because they're young and he doesn't want to freak him out, but he's gone the full 10 yards. their wedding is planned, their imaginary children's names are picked out, they'll have a cat- EVERYTHING. he accidently mentioned it to felice once, who thinks it's hilarious (but she keeps his secret anyway)

Tokyo Revengers Halloween HCs

A/n: Happy Halloween y'all! Enjoy, this took a while. (I don't write fluff often, enjoy it while it lasts) (These are also American traditions bc I'm 'merican. I don't know how this shit works in other countries, and i don't wanna mess it up and cause problems.) I was gonna post this on Halloween, but I got impulsive.

Manjiro (Mikey) Sano

The biggest child ever

He's that kid who's way too old to be trick-or-treating, but he's doing it anyway.

Every year, Draken has to try to convince him to stop

"You're never too old to get sugar-high on candy!"

He probably goes in some half-assed costume

He doesn't care about the costume, this man wants candy

He's the first one to start trick-or-treating and the last to stop

Probably forces all of Toman to go and give him their candy

Menace

He's got two bags full by the end of his endeavors

He eats it all in like half a day

He gives Draken the gross candy

AKA, the healthy shit

He probably curls up in a blanket and eats his candy in peace

Izana Kurokawa

Didn't even know that Halloween was a thing

Once he figured it out, he figured he was too old for it'

Kaku forced him to go with him once

My man spent way too much money on a costume

He was so out of place compared to everyone else

But he definitely got extra candy for being so... extra

Didn't eat half of it because he's a picky eater

Needless to say, Kaku stopped taking him trick or treating.

Izana would go out and buy a bulk bag of decent candy and sit with Kaku and watch horror movies together

He'll never admit it, but horror movies do scare him

He just wants a chill night with his friend

Ken (Draken) Ryuguji

Probably only went trick-or-treating once

He and Emma were peanut butter and jelly

Now that he doesn't go, he just buys candy and makes Emma a small gift bag of chocolates

Tried to have a horror movie night with her, but she got so scared that she started crying

They only watch Corpse Bride on Halloween Movie Night now

Mikey came home from trick-or-treating and saw them together

he nearly shit himself from laughing

You just know that they've shared lollypops before

Draken definitely proposed to her with a ring pop once

Nahoya (Smiley) Kawata

He hands out candy

there's definitely a twist

He sets his apartment up as a haunted house and forces little kids to work for their candy

He has one of those candy bowls with the hands that grab you

deadass the same model that I used to have

Long story short, there's not a single kid that can make it through to get candy

He sits on the couch with Souya and watches scary movies while eating the leftover candy

Souya keeps on trying to tell him to stop scaring the shit outta little kids

He won't

Menace, 8/10

Souya (Angry) Kawata

Never too old to trick-or-treat

He goes in his inflatable shark costume every year

adorable boy

He never takes too much candy

He ends up with like three pieces by the end of the night

He never goes trick-or-treating for long, usually just a lap around the block

He's the person outside of the house consoling the kids that Nahoya scared away

Walks into the house demanding candy

Nahoya reluctantly obliges

Eats all of Nahoya's chocolate

Probably ended up crying at the scary movies Nahoya makes him watch

He stays up the entire night in fear

Poor baby, 100/10

Haruchiyo Sanzu

He could care less about trick-or-treating

He goes to Mucho's house and spends the day vibing

They usually just play shoji together

Sometimes they go out for food together

Halloween is usually an escape for Haru

Mucho will buy him candy and listen to him rant about his problems

Afterwards, they'll watch a movie together to make him feel better

They hand out candy together sometimes

It's one of the few moments that Haru gets to be himself

He usually just takes his mask off and uses it as a costume

Mucho consoles him when kids get scared

Sweet boy, 10/10

Senju Kawaragi

She forces Waka and Benkei to carry her when she goes trick or treating

She also tries way to hard to have a good costume

She can hit all the houses in the city in like an hour

After she hits all the houses, she changes into another costume and does round 2

Needless to say, she has a shit-ton of candy

She bribes Waka, Benkei, and Takeomi with it

"If you clean my room, I'll give you a kit-kat!"

omw Senju, kit-kats are bomb

She probably gives Takeomi the granola bars

"Take this, old man! It'll probably help your heart and lungs!" -Senju moments before chucking a granola bar at her brother's head

She goes absolutely ape-shit for the little toys that they give out

"WAKA!!! LOOK HOW CUTE THIS IS!!!"

She definitely gets sugar-highs

Ran Haitani

Absolute Halloween addict

He goes as Wednesday Addams every year

Literally walks on his knees so that people see him as a kid

man is dedicated

At houses where you pick your candy, sometimes he'll get a small healthy snack for Rindou

He hits all the houses in the area

He never misses a single house

He gets home, leaves a small bag of shit for Rin, and goes back in his room

He's not big on the Halloween spirit

He just wants candy, that's all

He usually just eats some of his candy and passes out

Weirdo, 9/10

Rindou Haitani

He probably believes that people are spiking candy

Went trick-or-treating one time and never went again

He's really not big on Halloween

Sometimes he hands out candy, but rarely

He usually just scrolls through horror movies and criticizes them

He snacks on the healthy things that Ran picked up for him

He probably loves those Halloween throw blankets

Those things are so fucking soft

He's got no spirit, 7/10

Keisuke Baji

Absolute menace

You thought he was bad when he's hungry

He's so much worse for Halloween

He's definitely gone as Edward at least once

He hands out candy

By handing out candy, I mean he snatches candy from little kids

Chifuyu comes over to get candy from him and has to wrestle the bowl from him

Afterward, he usually goes to Chifuyu's house and vibes with him

He eats candy corn just to spite Chifuyu

He'll eat anything, really

He's scary, 7/10

Mitsuya Takashi

He's probably not too into Halloween

He sews costumes for his sisters and goes trick-or-treating with them

He's such a sweethart

Probably makes costumes for his friends who need them

He brings a small bag with him and gets candy when he goes with his sisters

He checks all of their candy

He's definitely scared for them

Gives them the candy that he doesn't want

He'll sit with his sisters and watch a light scary movie

I love this man, 10/10

Kakucho

He goes overboard with Halloween

He's got a whole closet full of costumes

he put Izana in one of them and was dying of laughter

He brings his candy over to Izana's house and the two binge

Kaku's the type of person to eat the candy that someone else doesn't want, even though it's gross

He's definitely ended up holding Izana during a movie

we stan a platonic cuddling session

He ends up sharing like half of his candy with Izana

Hajime Kokonoi

Buys all the candy he can

He doesn't even like candy, he just gives it to Seishu

He'll get a list of movies that his friends want and get them all for them

Went trick-or-treating once because Seishu wanted to

I don't think you wanna know how much he spent on a costume

Somehow managed to get a whole bag full of candy

He just gave it all to Seishu

except for the popping candies, those are his

He probably hands out candy every-so-often

He's the house that everyone loves, 10/10

Seishu Inui

He hands out most of the candy that Koko gets him

He definitely loves kids

Probably gives out three whole bags

He doesn't really dress up much, he finds it repetitive

Refuses to give candy to people he knows

"Ran, I know that's you, I'm not giving you candy."

He probably does his friend's makeup for their costumes

When he's not handing out candy, he's painting kid's faces

Takemichi Hanagaki

He absolutely goes trick-or-treating

He probably goes as something basic, like a sheet ghost or something

He doesn't usually get a lot of candy

Probably begs people for the little toys

He gives out all his candy to his friends, but he needs those damn toys

Mikey'll take literally every single piece of his candy

He'll end up playing with the little Halloween toys all night

He has a small stash of them

He absolutely loves them

He's just a kid, 10/10

I wish I logged in to see this. A few days late won't hurt.

Jason is the type to keep secrets, especially when planning something big for his chosen ones. He'd make no mention of what he's planning for Nathan. However Nathan's intuitive enough that he would sense something is going on but he too would not want to spoil whatever plans Jason has made.

Jason being a perfectionist, he wants everything to be perfect. Planning even the little things, like giving Candy Pop a pointless job so the blueberry Jester doesn't ruin everything with his capricious nature.

While Jason would want the spotlight on him normally, he'd make sure Nathan is the most noticed person in the room. (Maybe passively praising himself for such a great evening.)

Gifts? Oh he brought the gifts, more so, hand made ones as he's skilled with toy making as Nathan always states he rather has something made with care than bought with $$$.

He's had plenty of practice on his chosen ones after all. This is also where he would, for once, consult the doll maker. Both of them planning a design, however Jason would ultimately make his own flare with what he designed for Nathan. Not only that, but he also created somethings fitting for him and Nathan to enjoy later.

Cakes? Of course. Why more than one? Ask Candy Pop. He is the one to put his extra touch to things. Even if it's the more macabre variety... Jason can't have his doll poisoned on his special day after all.

What is Nathan doing while all this is underway? He already had plans to go out. After all it's not just his birthday. He's occupied "shopping" for his twin sister. No way would he not celebrate with his twin. This is where Julius would come in, being a dressmaker. Who better to dress up a corpse?

With all that prep! Jason somehow manages to keep Candy Pop quiet, ok maybe with help from Puppeteer. Nathan upon returning to his hidden home. Greeted with the dark, quiet room.

*POP*

Nathan is greeted (startled) by loud noises, cheering and familiar faces. Which they are lucky he didn't start swinging with that kind of shock.

Jason would want to be the one Nathan focuses on but Candy Pop broke free and tackled his best friend down first. Much to the saltiness of Jason.

Nathan would be treated like royalty thanks to Jason's planning and he even went the extra mile to treat Crystal the same, for Nathan's happiness. After all, The trio of Maker's have the power and ability to do so.

Once everyone is either gone or passed out. Jason would take the opportunity to carry Nathan away. After all no birthday is complete without some specialized attention. What better way to get alone time by going into Jason's pocket dimension.

Jason for all of his show of cockiness, he's quite the selfless lover. In fact, seeing Nathan enjoying himself is all that more exciting to him.

He'd have the room all decorated, romantic, but with the sinister looming of lust. The very toys Jason created for them to enjoy sitting on a table nearby.

Jason knows every little thing that turns his favorite doll on. Everywhere to touch, to kiss, to bite. Does help that Nathan's kinks are his own as well. However, he'd silently admit he can be a bit too rough with his doll. But all the more reason for aftercare.

Jason would purposely hold off, can't have the night end too soon after all. Plus the look on Nathan's face drives him into a frenzy, almost unable to hold himself back.

Jason would end their fun, cuddled up. A mess, but fulfilled watching Nathan get some well deserved sleep.
