Part of me was considering redesigning Adriana (my Pokémon Reborn self-insert)’s outfit fairly recently, but I wasn’t really sure where I wanted to go with the redesign. Then today’s Pokémon Presents happened, and - since Adri is supposed to have started her journey in Kalos - suffice it to say I was very excited, and also inspired to change it once again! But, I’m still at a bit of a crossroads about whether or not I actually want to go through with doing it since I don’t have any super concrete ideas, so.. maybe we shall see?

Tapu Lele – Does your F/O brag about you to others? Or are they reserved about it? – I don’t really think N would brag, in the sense that he wouldn’t just go around shouting about Noire and how wonderful he thinks she is (you’ll want to look to Skye or, in a less exuberant way, Signora for that kind of showing-off behaviour!). But, I also feel that if you ever happened to ask him about her, he would probably spend a lot of time talking about her and what he likes about her, without needing much prompting. So he’s somewhere in the middle, I suppose you could say!

Gothitelle – Do you and your F/O prefer casual, formal, or a mix of both for clothing? – Both of us have a strong preference for fancier outfits, often both themed around lolita styles (Luna’s wardrobe has a lot of gothic lolita whereas Adri’s is based around.. another kind of lolita style, but I’ve currently forgotten which one specifically). This stems from both Luna and Adriana originating from quite a noble sort of background, so they are able to afford these kinds of clothes without too much trouble.

In Luna’s case, part of the preference is based on her affinity for Alice in Wonderland as well as the role she plays in the castle as a Victorian maid of sorts, while Adri’s default outfit was designed by Valerie (who is well-acquainted with her and her family, as all Laverre Gym Leaders sort of end up having to be). So, it is deliberately supposed to resemble the attire of the Furisode Girls in her Gym (with the colour scheme being themed around Adriana’s shiny Pumpkaboo) because of this.

(As a side note, Adri was actually initially supposed to become one of the Gym Trainers for the Laverre City Gym when she grew up, and therefore specialise in Fairy-types, but because her first Pokémon ended up being not only one that she found herself as a child but also a shiny Pokémon, that was taken as a sign that she should be allowed to pick a different path, and she ended up becoming a Ghost-type specialist instead!)
