Trieste, lavori di edilizia scolastica per 4 milioni e mezzo

Trieste, lavori di edilizia scolastica per 4 milioni e mezzo. Durante la scorsa estate, il Comune di Trieste ha eseguito lavori di edilizia scolastica per quasi 4 milioni e mezzo di euro su 25 plessi scolastici. I dettagli sugli interventi svolti sono stati illustrati mercoledì nel corso di una conferenza stampa che si è tenuta presso la Sala Giunta del Comune di Trieste dagli Assessori comunali alle Politiche del Patrimonio Immobiliare, Elisa Lodi e alle Politiche dell'Educazione e della Famiglia, Nicole Matteoni alla presenza del Dirigente del Servizio Edilizia Scolastica e Sportiva Luigi Fantini e degli ingegneri del Servizio Sergio Ashiku, Luigi Stocchi e Diego Briganti. Nel periodo tra il 15 giugno e il 31 agosto 2022 sono stati eseguiti interventi in accordo quadro per 1.359.700 euro, di global service (cioè di manutenzione ordinaria) per 209.476,87 euro e infine interventi puntuali per 2.855.425,49 euro. «Quest'estate – ha rimarcato l'Assessore Elisa Lodi – abbiamo eseguito numerosi lavori nelle nostre scuole per complessivi 4.424.602,36 euro con 25 plessi interessati dalle manutenzioni, sia ordinarie che straordinarie. Nello specifico, interventi su soffitti, bonifiche amianto, interventi su impianti elettrici, ascensori e scale di emergenza e interventi puntuali, come ad esempio alla scuola primaria Duca D'Aosta per 600mila euro, alla scuola primaria Gaspardis per 850mila e all'Istituto comprensivo Iqbal Masih (su tutt'e tre le scuole presenti nel plesso) per oltre 978mila euro. Tutti lavori – ha proseguito Lodi - di manutenzione e di riqualificazione sia di spazi esterni che interni necessari allo svolgimento dell'attività scolastica. Un dato importante – ha sottolineato ancora Lodi – è che i lavori sono stati eseguiti a scuole chiuse: sono stati avviati al termine dell'anno scolastico e conclusi alla riapertura, per non creare disagi agli alunni». «L'edilizia scolastica – ha spiegato l'Assessore Nicole Matteoni - è una delle priorità di questa Amministrazione comunale. Con l'esecuzione di questi lavori, il Comune di Trieste ha dimostrato quanto ha a cuore il tema dell'edilizia scolastica intervenendo su tantissimi plessi (dagli asili nido alle scuole statali) rispondendo alla necessità di una continua manutenzione degli immobili allo scopo di offrire spazi decorosi e dignitosi ai nostri ragazzi. Sono già previsti infatti anche altri futuri lavori che permetteranno di incrementare la bellezza e fruibilità dei nostri plessi scolastici e tengo a sottolineare come la giunta sia al nostro fianco per dare risposte sempre più puntuali e complete ai nostri ragazzi».... God Don’t Make Mistakes- Conway the Machine

Conway the Machine is definitely an artist that makes what most would consider “conscious hip hop”. In his music, he tells the story of his experiences living a lifestyle surrounded by crime. In the closer track “God Don’t Make Mistakes” off his latest album, Conway asks the question what if his rap career never took off and instead his lifestyle caught up to him inevitably resulting in his death. In the song, talks about selling cocaine for years and being involved in gang activities for years only stopping recently because of his career finally taking off at the age of 40. He also talks about being shot in the neck, and almost dying twice. He was told that he would likely be paralyzed from the neck down and would never be able to rap again, but fortunately this never happened. Despite everything seemingly working out for Conway, he still cant help but question what if things were different and he actually were paralyzed or dead. Overall, this song is a reminder that everything happens for a reason, and that everyone has a purpose in this world they just have to find it.

Husni Ashiku @noopmaster made this environmental portrait of a stranger fishing quietly along a tranquil creek for an assignment in this summer's on-line CP470D Smartphone Photography course. This image makes you want to stop everything and find your own private fishing hole. Students were given the challenge to photograph two strangers. One stranger needed to be 10 years older and the other 10 years younger than the student photographer. Photographing strangers is always terrifying, but equally rewarding when a connection is made. Summer School as School: Experience of Interdisciplinary Educational Program in Kosovo, Prishtina

Albert Heta, an artist and curator, will present his work and the work of Stacion—Center for Contemporary Art Prishtina and the program for Summer School as School, a unique collaborative international art and education platform based in Prishtina, Republic of Kosovo.

Originally inspired by the case of Kosovo, where the education system was structured in the mid-1970s, Summer School as School is designed to unite and disseminate critical knowledge and address relevant challenges of today, implementing new models and possibilities in art education and artistic collaboration. It is a unique collaborative international educational platform based in Prishtina, as a progressing model; developing an interdisciplinary curriculum and engaging practitioners from the region and beyond in sharing knowledge and expertise with international students and the public.

About Summer School as School

Hosted by Stacion, the 2019 program of Summer School as School will revolve around 13 courses, the public program with lectures, conferences, performances, film school program, DJ sessions and exhibitions by artists, writers, and scholars, including: Julieta Aranda, Inke Arns, Franc Ashiku, Zdenka Badovinac, Margot Bouman, Sezgin Boynik, Eva Birkenstock, Boris Buden, DJ Tahira, Keti Chukhrov, Charles Esche, Patricia Falguières, Lek M. Gjeloshi, Tone Hansen, Koh Nguang How, Hristina Ivanovska, Ana Janevski, Sami Khatib, Elzbieta Matynia, Ari Benjamin Meyers, Suzana Milevska, Nebojsa Milikić, Miran Mohar, Cesare Pietroiusti, Renaud Proch, Petrit Pula, Armina Pilav, Bernhard Rüdiger, Anri Sala, Renata Salecl, Gasper Tamas, Marina Otero Verzier, Jelena Vesić and Gëzim Visoka, amongst others.
