I typically don't send my dolls out for face-ups, but I'm very happy with vampish's work and I would have picked death if I had to paint these flowers myself lol Vampish also made the LED eyes.
My prompt was "blue porcelain kintsugi"
Unfortunately this doll is just gonna sit on the shelf for a while because I have no body for them.
And he's painted! I got a little impatient and strung him anyway >> not sure how well the sueding will hold up but overall he looks great! Magnet for his tail will be here tomorrow and I have a friend I've commissioned for his robes.
I'll have a Lambert to go with him, too, but I'm still waiting on the modded Sheepy head.

I am so ridiculously proud of these - I know they're nothing like.... amazing, but it's my first pair and I learned so much and can't wait to keep practicing!
Dye Time Because Nothing Makes Me Tilted Like Ball-jointed Dolls With Pale Skin That Photographs Like a Vampire ((Also Shuen is an Asian Girl With Darker Skin and Temir is a Black Person))
Adding green dye to a skin tone dye bath is so scary but I think I got a real nice tone. Like I know how it works in color mixing, but there's still a fear of giving it too much green twinge.
30ml sandstone 2ml chocolate brown 1 ml peacock green dyemore to like 2 liters ish of water
10 minute dip
It hits the kind of Milk Tea level tan at like 2-3 minutes
Asleep Eidolon resin took the dye really smooth. I can see some of the sanding areas but it is not super jarring
That white orb is her head cap. lol
The paint remover was not supposed to clean off Temir's nose, but it did, so I dyed him again.
I like the new color a lot better, though it is a little darker than I was planning.
I lost count of how much green I added, 10-20ml and 6ml chocolate brown.
