Pavitr Prabhakar Headcanons Part 4 (Romance Special)
I’m back, after a while this time, and with a topic that is a bit foreign for me, but I hope I do Pav justice, in our desi way. Also, I didn’t mention his sexuality because I just want my boy to be loved by someone he deserves, you’re free to imagine whoever you want :)
Has very different and high expectations of romantic gestures originating entirely from Indian film industry. Rather than a kiss, he longs to be hugged by someone like there is no tomorrow. Wants to dance in the rain with his s/o and hold their hand as a declaration of love.
Wants that Radha-Krishna [the Epitome of Love in Hindu Mythology] type of epic love but at the same time he doesn’t, because yes he does want to feel that ever-consuming Love, where his soul and his s/o’s are one, but he does not know, and does not want to know if he could ever survive the pain of losing that love.
He would not say “I don’t know what I did to deserve you” but instead he would say “Jab tum mujhko apna kehte ho, apne pe guroor aa jaata hai” (“when you say I’m yours, I feel confident about myself”)
His love language is words of affirmation. He would write letters to his s/o, with flowery descriptions of them and their attributes that he’s come to adore, how he thinks their flaws make them beautiful.
Wants someone who would pull all nighters with him. Someone who would look at him when he’s most exposed, bags under his eyes, hair messed up by his own ink stained fingers, a book open in his lap as his body posture reek of exhaustion and just smile at him, asking if they should call it a night.
Would not initiate physical touch, that’s something that is entirely in the hands of his s/o. Once they hugged Pavitr after he saved them from a villain and he burst in tears and hugged back as fiercely.
Ball Dances? Nah he takes his s/o to Dandiya Nights
Is really shy and confident at the same time. Shy as in he’d be all blushing while giving them flowers but confident as in he’d be absurd enough to suggest that they recreate the train scene from DDLJ “[come on I’ll get Maya Aunty to say ‘Jaa Pavitr jaa jee le apni zindagi’ (‘go Pavitr go, live your life!’)]”
Tells his s/o “Tum mile ho mujhe yoon, jaise banjaare ko ghar” (“I’ve found you, like a traveler finds home”) because they’re the first person whom he has told about his secret identity and sometimes it takes to much to handle it and he doesn’t know what he’d do without them.
HAND KISSES HAND KISSES HAND KISSES. Loves to be hand kissed & likes to do the same, but only if he is 100% sure that his s/o is comfortable.
Feels most relaxed when his s/o cards their fingers through his hair, gently petting and playing with it, it makes him want to drop his head in their lap and stay there.

These were sort of my sketches for how I want my submission presentation to look like. The book and how I have chosen the noto sans devnagri font which is open variable- used diff line weight for diff words made meaning out of every line- first line mausam beghar hone lage hai- which means seasons are becoming homeless now- banjaare lagte hai mausam- seasons are nomads now, jungle, ped , pahad, samandar, insaan sab kuch kaat raha hai- meaning humans are cutting everything- jungle, tree, mountain and ocean. cheel cheel ke khaal zameen ki tukda tukda baat raha hai means peeling scratching the skin of the land distributing it bit by bit. Aasmaan se utre mausam saare banjar hone lage hai meaning the seasons dropped from the sky are all becoming barren now, seasons have nowhere to go- daryaaon pe bandh lagi hai fodti hai sir chattano se mean - there's stoppage on rivers as it smashes its head on the rocks- i.e dams, baandhi lagti hai yeh zameen darti hai ab insaano se means- the land feels like a servant now and is scared of humans. behti hava pe chalne vaale panv patthar hone lage hai means the foot that stepped on flowy wind is now turning into stone, as seasons dont know where to go. there is design meaning behind everything done- banjaare words nomadic look, cheel cheel- having the scratchy look, patthar having rocky look, insaan sab kuch kaat raha hai- as human(insaan) cuts the trees jungles etc with its type line- daryaon pe band - stop on rivers- effect in text- thus meaning behind everything
