Just reading back a little and saw this moment

And I think it's just sort of telling? How Best Jeanist refers to Tomura as destruction personified and Izuku says nothing, yet when En refers to him as sort of the same thing he voices what he really thinks

And I can only think that every time someone has referred to Tomura as something without a shred of sympathy and Izuku's kept silent, it might be something he takes note of. Especially now that he's become aware of Tomura's pain. Hearing everything they call Tomura, like he's just some sort of thing, like he doesn't have a name or a past or a house that was once his (something he explicitly said TO Izuku as he fell from UA), it's gotta open his eyes or something, right?

Even Nana has referred to Tomura as a "thing", though she must have meant the version of Tomura that is "the finished product" (hence the wings after the chrysalis that was shown during the surgery) - someone truly incapable of being saved (and thus removing herself mentally/emotionally from the crushing fact that he is family)

And I suppose there is also an element of something back from when Izuku told Gran Torino he wanted to save Tomura. Torino had said the words "Killing can be another way of saving", and at the time, Izuku wasn't entirely sure if there was anything left of Tomura/Tenko inside the fusion. Up until that moment he asked if Tomura was still there, he couldn't have fully known whether he would have to kill him or get to save him like he wanted to do. So, essentially, keeping quiet when people referred to Tomura as "destruction incarnate" (and other things), just in case that really was what he'd become

Though I guess that detail doesn't really matter now, what with Izuku wanting to save him, finally seeing Tomura was still in there and digging his heels in with the set determination of saving him. He saw Tomura's personality, the human in him, after all

Now it sort of seems like Izuku is speaking up? Not just in the presence of those who think otherwise but against Tomura himself. En says Tomura is like "destruction incarnate" and immediately after, Izuku says "It's deeper than that. You're human"

In the end, I wonder if it matters more that Izuku spoke up to Tomura first, someone who NEEDS to know the truth and who would greatly benefit from someone challenging his thoughts head-on, rather than mentioning it every time someone refers to Tomura as some "thing" instead

I guess it adds more of an impact to the story too, that way

and he has no idea how to prevent any of this because there's maybe three people left who remember the Dagor Aglareb and one of them is Fingon

I still think the more I think about it that sanctuary at it's core is a perfectly understandable reaction on Eichis part I mean have you read blackbird imagine being Eichi and experiencing that. I would also go insane if the guy that's stuck with me through weal and woe — who's been a main motivation for me to keep on living by being kind of the reason I fell in love with idols in the first place which is a fact about me that proceeded to shape the narrative at it's very core and who I'm so close to it makes other people uncomfortable sometimes, yet I feel like I don't know him at all and like there's this chasm between us still — just disappeared without any notice for a few days at least and then I find out he's hypnotized himself to play around with some boring kid from his theater circle because he wasn't able to do that as a child. Shakes you there are so many layers to the Sanctuary thing when you think about it of course Eichi was being eaten up by jealousy I would be too for god's sake imagine thinking you're getting closer to someone and then they pull a stunt like that. Why would he rather toy around with this boring weirdo who doesn't even know him like Eichi does that should've been Eichi stuck in that construction area with Wataru not Tomoya! It's only logical because Tomoya hasn't been through what they've been through together. And Eichi is petty and a menace and I still think it was overly dramatic and a tad bit of an asshole move to just leave Tomoya there because he was angry with him while Tomoya was just some guy roped into this without his will or knowledge but I get it. In a way I understand it. I think it's over the top but what is Eichi Tenshouin if not over the top and a little (or very) dumb sometimes and you know what they say about how love makes blind yeah I think that also applies to common sense there.

I think the spa date with Emmet is a perfect idea, his hoard of Joltiks are there and would be excited to see him and the farmer Emmet won't stop talking about when he sees them again. I think a nice date idea for Emmet's 13th Heart would be him and his spouse having a picnic on the Mountain Pass, a majority of his events occur there and to see the difference between strangers to friends??? to best friends to lovers finally would be verrry nice to see, at least to me. A nice homage to the place.

I was worried that a spa date would be a little too scandalous because well... I had enough asks about Ginger Island and seeing them near-naked. I can't look at their beach/bathhouse sprites without thinking about that association anymore. ^^;;; Not safe for Joltiks! Though, a little pool party would be cute.

Aside from that, I do want to have at least one event with Emmet at night and with Ingo in the day for balance... I find that a lot of Ingo's events take place at night and are more quiet while Emmet's is more busy... I suppose the contrast works but I'd like to have at least one event matching their usual "volume" if you follow my train of thought. Something like a candlelit beach dinner with the fish Emmet caught with Eelektross maybe...?

No idea what to do for Ingo though... I thought about the farmer taking him to see the mutant bugland in the sewers or the witch's hut behind the railroad (hello Shrine of Memory...) but... That isn't exactly ideal.
