I liked it in Robots how they made a joke in the beginning that very clearly explicitly stated that there’s some kind of “piece” that makes a robot a boy, and then halfway through the film Fender replaces his entire lower half for a woman’s lower half and there is no pressure from anybody to make Fender get that piece back to be considered a “man”
