10th Day: The Long Globe

I dreamed that Terry was sitting in his armchair in the bookshop, reading to me from “The Long Earth”. I was spilled over the couch like a Crowley, listening in reverence. The doorbell chimed and Joshua hurried in, greeting Terry like the old friend he naturally was, and telling him we had to get a wiggle on, the Second Coming wouldn’t summon itself. Adam, the young one, would be waiting for us at the Globe in the seventh universe to the right.

Terry donned his hat and scarf and took the white marble bust of Adam under his wing.

Do you think dazai would like me or love me?👨‍🦲. I'm like super quite. I have people telling me that I should open up more or talk more. But when I'm close with anyone they think I'm the best person ever, and funny. I can talk if people approaches me first. But I ahve this bland look going on my face. going past the initial interest, dazai will know he was right. he now has more reason to stick around because of your pleasant personality. it's interesting how people can change with different given situations and company. dazai is fascinated by your reactions, and curious of the developments of your relationship over time. what if he flirts with you? oh! that reaction is so cute! you flirt back? oh? that's interesting. may the best one wins. you're funny and you're fun. how about joining his daily shenanigans of annoying kunikida? dazai will be ecstatic.

wishing people's birthday at 12 am is honestly very sweet and caring of you :') not everyone makes the time to remember other people's birthdays. dazai, after knowing you better, is completely aware of how caring you can be. but no amount of anticipation would be enough to prepare him for your perfectly-timed "happy birthday!" mail, or the canned crab you gift him either in the morning after, or right then and there--on the midnight of June 19 with your impromptu visit to his dorm. man will freeze. serves him. maybe he will feel a little bit guilty the next time he's leaving you alone in a crowd. he means you no harm, of course. he handles the social interactions without question when you feel like it's too much for you. but let's be honest, he definitely wants the best for you and he's bound to give you a lil nudge to help you with the social anxiety ^^

SLOWING DOWN FOR PEOPLE!!! Making the time, calming herself down and choosing to live in the moment with someone instead of constantly thinking ahead. It’s hard, stuff like that takes a lot of effort from her, so when she’s with a loved one she really tries. If you’re lucky, she might even let you hold one of her clocks. Woah!!

She doesn’t really drink to the point of getting drunk much outside of family parties (like weddings, birthdays, etc), but her overall opinion is pretty neutral. She doesn’t think about it much in depth. It’s a healthy relationship!

🌱- Do they have a green-thumb or are they a plant killer?

PLANT KILLER 100% she does not GET IT!!! She doesn’t like gardening, there’s no time!! It takes too long to grow and it’s sooo stressful and now everything’s wilting again!! Plants wouldn’t thrive well in her house, anyways: it’s a small studio apartment in New York filled to the brim with clocks, old mail she keeps forgetting to throw out, and blueprint sketches; she seldom remembers to open her blinds and let sunlight in.

Don’t tell anyone this, but outside of clockwork she really likes to sing. She’s a bit embarrassed about it, the woman pretends that she doesn’t know all the best karaoke places in town.

🧑‍🍼 - How do they feel about kids?

She’s fine with them! Just an awful influence. She has a lot of younger cousins and nieces/nephews, so she’s got the experience and can take care of one completely fine; just not for extended periods of time. She has gotten in trouble for teaching the younger survivors small little time-tampering tricks.
