Something I've noticed when I'm watching bootlegs of musicals is that the ones filmed in the UK the audience never seems to laugh at jokes? Like I was watching this one recently and everytime their was a joke the audience never reacted? They also only ever seem to give more of polite claps instead of full on applause. Maybe it's just me but that's what it feels like???
