4. how crafty/resourceful are they?

she's more crafty than resourceful i think. if that makes sense. not sure abt the nuances and differences between these two words lmao but like... resourcefulness is more about the ability to improvise using whatever resources are currently available right? and craftiness is like cunning?? so basically isabeau prefers to use her craftiness to gather information and plan carefully and make backup plans so that she won't end up in a situation where she has to improvise. obviously that doesn't always work out but it's her preferred modus operandi!

she is however resourceful in her usage of her connections across the province! be it members of other factions or fellow criminals or guards she has bribed/blackmailed or nobles she has convinced into an alliance.. beau knows how to pull strings to get things done!

9. favorite food? least favorite? are they a picky eater? do they have any dietary restrictions?

she doesn't have any dietary restrictions but she is a picky eater! growing up in a province known for its exquisite cuisine and being raised a privileged noble has made her snobby about many things including food. nordic cabbage potato soup is the most disgusting thing she has ever eaten. the nords do make good bread though

beau's favorite food is any fancy breton food, especially seafood! the thing she misses the most about high rock is ze cuisine... nordic food is just boring compared to it. it's nutritious. but bland. just like irl

14. are they any good with numbers?

hm. i don't think abt my ocs' math skills much bc i'm personally bad with numbers and would rather not think about them lmao. however i know that isabeau is the one oc who is actually really good with numbers! her parents hired a tutor to teach her like. finance management stuff. as a kid. so that she'd be of some use to the family after her utter lack of magical talent became apparent. she found the lessons boring but had a head for these things and the tutoring proved useful later in life after she became the leader of the thieves guild hehe!

Creature transformation from a dream I had one time.

When I was pillaging my sketchbooks I found a whole separate transformation I drew! Two for the price of one [second one under cut]

#this was me btw. #the lore was actsholly kinda cool. interdimentional travel kinda worked like stranger things.where there were sides but there were infinent #sides you can punch your pencil though the paper to. except also insteed of paper it was more like a spunge. and you traveled though the #spounge bits to get to other places. it was like a series of white hallways and eatch hallway represented a room in the regular world #if you cliped out of the hallways you whould wind up into the coresponding room. eventually you whould make it to a gateway sometimes and #that was a diffrent dimention. also in the hallways were sometimes golden doors. going though those lead you to safe rooms. you cant clip #out of them and they are stationary. also the nothing choudlent get in there and some other stuff chouldent either so it was fine to sleep #in them. except once you left the room the door whould disapear and you chouldent go into it ever again. it aplyed to an individual basis #the hallways were incredably dangerous tho. only the most dangerous beasts chould survive in the harsh conditions and unfortunently my #adventures into the multiverse tought one of these speices how to get out of the hallways and into the worlds it conected.. #they took my parents... i was in denyal for a long time that the people i was liveing with were no longer my family. they took my other #brother then. they whould wear bodys like suits. useing their bodys to sustain their own. they were basically just brains that looked like #eels and let the bodys they took do all the work. but my family was dead. they were no longer my parents and brohter. they were takeing my ' #little brother next. but when they were going to take them they were notified i knew about them. so they headed back to confrount me. they #locked my brother in my parents room and while they were trying to get into the bathroom i was locked it in i went though the hallways and #came out into the room with him. we scrambled out the window and i carryed my brother down to the ground. we ran to my sisters house. i told #her we needed to run. but she turned back as we entered the woods and yelled to her parents saying we were leaveing. her parents were also #no longer her parents. so they knew. and we ended up haveing to fight for our lives in the woods. my sister died. but then big lore drop: i #was human plus minus. between the sponge hallways was the nothing there was nothing between the hallways and in that nothing nothing lived. #the nothing was always so hungery. it whould try to eat the creatures of the hallways if you stayed in one spot for too long. one time a #traveler in the inbetween was being hunted by the nothing. it came though into the room where conception occured at the same time the n #nothing reached into the world in its wild hunger. but nothing can not exsist in something so it ceaced to be. but something was created. #a life a soul form nothing. the nothing was sucked into this spontainous creation of nothing from something and became. that something. the #nothing was born a human. and in the nothing becomeing something grate power of creation was born as well within me. I HAD A ONCE A DAY WISH #SPELL BABY!!! so i wished my sister back alive in that moment but she looked like a weird fish thing with telecenetic abilitys becuse it was #her fault that we were in this situation so she whould be takeing a form that whould be better suited for a battle #i changed her back later but still it was pretty radical. later im pretty sure i killed my parents bodys. they found us and we were going to #die. but instincts and fear and all those wild things that drive animals to live took over and so did my personification of my beastlyness. #the more anxity fear and wild emotions i experenced the further i whould fall into the last stage of the transformation. while the longer #i was stable the more i was human. it was a dream that stuck with me....

I DO HAVE MORE QUESTIONS. We're having trouble on how we want them to look, like purple highlights are cool but it's an over-used color & we want them to look cool, we also can't visualise things in our head, theres this thing that it's professionally called but idk how to spell it, but like, good at writing story! just in brain, no need to write it down but ONLY after we've designed a character. we've had madcom ocs before but like we've just.. forgotten? yeah- we rarely drew or talked about our ocs bc they werent interesting HOWEVER we want something cool but more importantly we're massively struggling on: - how to draw decent clothes - color palletes - drawing different body types (we're trying but it always looks off) - more facial expressions & how cool they could be (we only rlly know how to do shocked/happy, not sad or talking or anything like that) - poses? we kinda get it but its still shitty yea :') im so sorry if this is a bit too much for you but like ur the best person we know to ask on drawing tips TBH.. so like.. yea :') (we say "yea :')" too much

What they do for a living and how that might affect how strong their legs are(example venus when shes a normal agent. she works out her arms yeah but she also does a lot of running around so like. by default her legs are strong as FUCK) and affect how strong their Arms are how it affects their overall form etc etc.. facial expressions i dont know if i can help w that much either. they come to me naturally aswell. maybbeeee some advice i can give is like.. dont b afraid to exaggerate. AND for sad expressions or “uglier” expressions like an ugly cry, ADD WRINKLES!! when youre crying sobbing your eyes out YOUR FACE WILL WRINKLE UP. i also like adding little shadow lines between the eyes to depict like. a sense of Seriousness.POSES? line of action and be loose. go crazy have fun. dont overthink it!! um. i hope this could help TEEHEE.

Chrollo Lucilfer.

So there’s some random things I think about because my first one of « religious chrollo » didn’t make it very well, so because I love this fandom I will write another one for chrollo cause why not?

Also these are my early morning thoughts, I’m hungery and writing it at 5:21 in the morning.

I genuinely feel that Chrollo is so guilty for Shalnark and Kortopi, he took their nen abilities for the fight, left them unprotected, that’s what he’s thinking he had done.

Of course no one would think Hisoka would survive this, but he did and took his revenge, which I really think it was despicable thing to do.

As you start to get really into details, the more you’ll start to doubt the troupe was behind the Kurta massacre.

I’m not saying they are innocent but you’ll start to doubt it. Especially the same pattern was done to Sarasa, the note.

Still it’s not clear what happened and why it happened to the Kurta’s.

Manga Chrollo is superior to the drawing in 1999 and 2011 adaptations.

Also unpopular opinion: hxh 1999 drawing was better than the 2011, Idk I guess i prefer it because I used to watch it since I was 4 or 5? And yes Chrollo was my favorite and remember crying over his “fake death” in yorknew’s arc. Iconic isn’t it?

Saiouma but they're a werewolf x vampire couple living in dorms.

it's defiantly both silly and simple, but i like the idea of them either being at HPA or in collage and living in one of those big dorm setups that are basically a shared house with like 5-6 other people. The two have to regularly leave to go do their monster shit away from humans, but they also have to do so without getting caught. they cover for one another alot to help make sure no one finds out, but that can sometimes be a pain in the neck to pull off.

like- imagine whichever is the werewolf getting caught by one of the humans and having to try aad escape the convorsation before the sun goes down so he doesn't turn infront of them. or the one who's a vampire getting super hungery and needing to feed, but one of the humans is up at an ungodly hour in the kitchen and he has to slip past them undetected to make it outside.

They dont seem to lose their meter points when they sleep, despite what ive heard(im not sure what they were experiencing or maybe if they set the time wrong) which is a plus! They go to bed at a good time too, i think it was 8? Or maybe 9 and idr when they woke up >< i was at work hehe

I love ocean and underwater sooo much lol and subnautica is my fav fav game so i love anything underwater <3 i love that it has liquid in it, tho mine looks like it has less than some of the old vids ive seen, and that makes me worry that it will all evaporate in a couple years. which will suck bc it cant be refilled but it wont change gameplay at all so i wont mind. besides, its just another state of wear and tear for it, and its another sign of it being well loved <3 to be loved is to be changed <3

Also it has some kind of gyroscope or accelerometer or something(idk the specifics of the insides of this particular device) so it senses the angle its being held at(upright, tilted left or right, and upside down) and i love that bc i love extra features in pets however inefficient they may be ><

Also on the topic of wear and tear and signs of love, my other vpet(one of my top 3 favs) my motchimaruzu kitty, has a lot of signs of love >< the case of the device is a squishy(like the bread squishies in Barnes and noble) and shaped like a kitty, and the paws nose and cheeks are the buttons. The case can be taken off so that it doesn't get messed up(if u squish it a lot the printing comes off and the spongey material starts to degrade) but like. Its part of the experience. The squishy is PART of it, and i want the whole experience, plus i dont mind the signs of damage/love bc its like. To be loved is to be changed, ive always believed this even before i knew the words for it. Not that im shaming anyone who takes the case off bc i get it, its a collector thing, but i keep it on most of the time personally!

Did Thalassa have any true love for Ursula and Morgana or were her daughters just pawns to her?

I feel like she cared for them in as much as they belonged to her, and she wanted to see them do well but only as much as that also aligned to her plans and benefited her as well. I think she had more true fodness for them when they were young and she was less jaded/power hungery, and as they all got older and more vicious that faded. She definitely favored Urusla as she had more inate cunning and talent and drive, while Morgana was useful until she screwed up trying to prove herself and almost undid Thalassa’s plans in so doing. Then she was more then willing to throw her younger daughter under the bus, and would have done so to Ursula as well if she'd ever given her cause.
