tumblr is ACTUALLY about to sell our data to dumb AI companies since they've already begun collecting it. and apparently it includes stuff from private posts, deleted blogs, etc. that seems like one heck of a breach of privacy and i am PISSED because if they can scrape data off a deleted blog, then what point is it of nuking our accounts?

I hope tumblr gets sued to hell, I'm so pissed off that the wonderful, unique community that has built itself here now has to migrate to other places. and there's no similar alternative (like how bluesky was to twitter) so everyone will scatter and it's gonna be hell to find fandom places

I've been here since highschool, I've seen this whole website change from the "cringe" stuff we talked about to actually understanding the world around us. We grew up, we grew stronger, and now we're gonna get torn apart

I want to hold hands with all of you, I want to stay together, I want to keep this unique vibe we've cultivated over the years, the shared experiences and absolute batshit memes we've created. everything sucks, the world is hard on us artists and creators of all kinds. let's stay strong, my friends. tumblr might be burning and crashing but we've done so much together, we'll get through this, and i hope we meet again in other spaces

after a few weeks of thinking on it, ive decided that i want to move my work to a main blog instead of keeping it on a sideblog, so im over at @booleanbug on a new account now!

sorry for doing this right after so many of yall just showed up from my art month pieces (hello by the way! glad youre here!) but i dont want to sit around mulling over this decision any longer

im gonna set it up to reblog all my current art on this sideblog on a queue, which will take about two months to finish with the current post count. this sideblog will stay up for that long at the least. but i will likely delete this page in a few months once everythings transferred over.

I'm glad you enjoyed my post! I really like Team Rancher... they are just very kind to each other and I could talk for ages about how they passed Scott's compatibility test with flying colors even though he was trying to rig it so they break up SLDKFJSLDFJ <3 Tango and Jimmy were just super kind to each other and incredibly comedic... Double Life was such a fun series. I miss them.

after i broke up with my ex i wanted a rebrand bc he gave me the url i used for everything and i had just settled on my first name and was wondering how i could get my vibe across in a gay coded way. so thank you alex jones, i now bathe lavishly in the water that turns the friggin frogs gay.

1. Why did you choose your URL?

when i was 14 and made this blog i had started using the phase "[so-and-so] is a BABE" (which had eventually evolved into calling everything that i liked a babe (this coffeemaker is a babe)). i didnt think very highly of myself at the time- i did not know i was a stone cold Hottie. so when i was coming up with a new blog name i put 'Hopefullyababe' cuz im like. Hopefully a babe. but i dont know!
