Let me Throw a Big What If for you all!
**Major Spoiler for KH 3, if you have not watch the Secret Movie and Epilogue you shouldn’t continue.  **You have been warned.
So I have beaten the game and I’m just going to settle with forever being confused when it comes to this video game, but let me throw out a theory for you all...
Can Demyx be the Masters of Masters?  So I’m thinking of this because in the ending the only character not present is Demyx.
He drops off Roxas’s Vessel and then disappears from the game.
Now the other explanation is that Nomura just doesn’t have the respect that I have Demyx and literally forgot about him when ending the game. It can happen and if that is the true explanation then truthfully it is a big missed opportunity.
But really think about, on all sights and through all games the character we still know the littlest about is Demyx, with the exception of maybe Larxene.
So I do not know much about the Five Foretellers, Luxu, or the Masters of Masters other than what I have seen and heard from Jskeleton and Hmk, who you can find on YouTube. I did not play the games involving these characters so again I know very little about them.
Now here’s the thing of why I think this is, knowing the little bit that I know. The Master of Masters, who from now i’ll call MM for short, just disappears after giving Luxu the black box and the NoName keyblade. So Luxu aka Xigbar does his part to make the events in Kh 3 happen and then we get the surprise that all along Xigbar was Luxu.
Tumblr media
Now wouldn’t it be an even bigger surprise if Demyx was the MM? I know in the small clips of Luxu and the MM talking that Luxu is quiet short in comparison to the MM but in that sequence he was in another body and he reveals that he has been jumping body to body to fulfill his role. So now being in Xigbar’s body he could be taller than the MM.  Let me go further on how Demyx is just gone after dropping off Roxas’s vessel. So he brings the vessel to Zexion under Vexen’s orders and so Zexion, Vexen, Dilan, Aeleus, Demyx and Master Ansem all reunite and begin working on Roxas’s vessel.  They succeed because Roxas shows up for the ending fight and then we continue on with the ending, but during that cut-scene Demyx is no where to be found.  We jump to where Namine wakes up and everyone except Demyx is there to welcome her.
Tumblr media
Not only did this piss me off that Demyx wasn’t present but the other problem is that look closely at Even or as I call him Vexen.  Even/Vexen’s eyes have gone back to their natural Green Color!!!  The spell of being Norted has left him and now he is just a regular human. All affected by Master Xehanort were made whole again after his defeat. After each of their defeats, but there’s the catch, Demyx didn’t fight. He didn’t want to be in the battle, he didn’t want to fight, he didn’t want to be benched either but he didn’t want to be part of the fighting. And the only other one who didn’t fight is Even. He didn’t get defeated but he still went back to being re-completed after Master Xehanort’s defeat.  Then the only one who had golden eyes left was Xigbar and we are to assume that he kept his Norted state so that he was able to hold the NoName Keyblade because that blade still rightfully belongs to Xehanort even with his passing.  So again that begs the question did the spell of being Norted leave Demyx because Master Xehanort was defeated or is he still Norted and was just forgotten by Nomaru or is it even a bigger thing where he’s disappeared because he has followed Sora and Riku to the new world and is going to confront them as the MM?
Tumblr media
Again this is all just a theory from my anger and sadness that the one character I asked of this game to get a happy ending did not.  You all have to understand about me is that the ONLY video game I play is Kingdom Hearts. I have tried to invest in others but I just never did and in fact I haven’t even completed a video game since Birth By Sleep.  When we were finally promised and given KH 3 I knew deep down that characters like Axel and Roxas and Ienzo were all going to get a good ending or that they were going to be fine, the only one thing I asked of this game was that Demyx got one as well.  So you can imagine my anger and frustration when I noticed that he was literally just erased from the game after the Roxas vessel scene.  Anyway I’m going to call it now and am saying that Demyx is the MM but I guess we’ll have to wait for another 5 to 10 years to find out.  Let me know what you all think? See ya guys!

                                                         It’s time to wake up.
His body felt heavier than it had ever been. Every fiber of his being begged for more sleep but the nagging sensation in the back of his mind told him it was time to rise and shine. Easier said than done of course, his eyelids refused to budge initially. With some minor grunts and grumbling he managed to crack them open, vision foggy, and blink them repeatedly to try and get his bearings.
     What’s… going on...?
The first thing he saw upon waking was a dull grey ceiling. Definitely not familiar. There was a mattress beneath him so safe to assume he was in a bed. Sluggish limbs tried to hoist him up into a sitting position but there was immediate protect. Pain shot up his arms and chest, all traveling up and leading directly to his head. A strong ache settled in around the mask area of his face and he let out a grunt, squeezing his eyes shut and bringing a hand up to press against half of his face. It felt like his chest was starting to burn too. The more he moved the hotter his body was starting to feel.
“Ah-- you’re finally awake. It took you long enough.”
Trying not to disturb the newly awakened headache he turned to where he assumed the voice was-- it was hard to tell with his body setting off alarms no matter what he did-- off to his right. It was at this point he thought for sure he was still asleep.
Xehanort, the youngest incarnation, was seated beside the bed. Cross legged and with a book in hand, barely paying attention to the boy struggling to get his bearings. Thumbing through another page he spoke once more. “It’s been a few days. We were beginning to think your heart may have shattered.” Lips twitched in either a grin or a smile, hard to tell with him, as he finally regarded the boy. “Good to see you’re still alive and well, Sora. After all it would be a shame if anything detrimental happened to you.”
It was too casual and strange to be anything but a dream. Sora could only stare in confusion as Xehanort returned to his book again. Sora opened his mouth to speak but all that came was a very puzzled, “Huh?” His mouth felt so dry and there was a foggy feeling overcoming him. Sora hoped that was just due to fatigue and nothing else.
Xehanort raised his head to the boy again, waiting for anything else out of him. So Sora tried again, swallowing first as if that might aid him. “Where… No, what’s going on…? Why are you here?”
Xehanort regarded him with a look Sora couldn’t quite place. Finally he inhaled and closed his book over, setting it on a nightstand beside the bed. “I half expected this…” He mumbled to himself. “You’re in The World That Never Was. What’s the last thing you remember, Sora?”
If his head wasn’t spinning before it certainly was now. Sora shook his head slowly, any faster and it would make his skull pound, either in denial of his whereabouts or that he couldn’t remember clearly. “I don’t…-- I shouldn’t be here. I need… I need to finish my mark of mastery. I need to find Riku--”
The dark city. The cold pavement against his back. Darkness creeping up his limbs. Xehanort kneeling beside him. Vision fading. Riku---
The hand pressed over his eyes moved over his mouth as his eyes widened in mute horror.
     That’s right.
     They broke my heart.
At the sight Xehanort watched him curiously, one eyebrow raised. “...It would seem you’re starting to remember,” he said evenly. “But I’m sure you still have questions. I imagine you don’t remember everything since you were, ah… asleep at the time.”
Panic was starting to bubble up within Sora and he stared at Xehanort with dread and terror. This can’t be real. This can’t be happening. Not to him.
Taking the silence as permission to continue Xehanort gestured to Sora. “I can tell you it was a success, and I have to say.” The hand crept under his chin as his lips curled into a smirk Sora had seen so many times in the realm of sleep. “The gold suits you.”
     Sora’s heart stopped.
Without thinking his body leapt up from the bed. Past Xehanort, to the door and running out of the room for all it was worth. At the end of the corridor there was a bright light, maybe it was an exit, and Sora took off straight for it. Shoes pounded against tile without care for the panic overflowing him. He needed to get out of there right now. This was all a dream! It couldn’t be real!
Sora’s all out sprinting lead him to a lounge area, somewhere he wasn’t familiar with when he last stormed their castle in search of Kairi and Riku-- where were they why hadn’t anyone come for him yet--  with large floor to ceiling window panels. Sora hurried over to a panel and pressed both hands against it to steady himself and use them as a mirror.
He still looked like Sora. Same brown, spiky hair. Same black outfit dabbled with belts of varying color.
     But the eyes weren’t his.
     His eyes were blue.
     Not gold.
     Not gold.
     N o t  g o l d.
“...No, this… This is not happening... “ Sora teetered backwards away from the window, both hands hopelessly sliding off and dragging down his face as he shook his head quickly. Each time with growing intensity until his body curled in on itself. “This isn’t real!”
“Sora? Please, stop whining, we have much to discuss-”
Sora whipped around and immediately scrambled backwards into the windows. The younger Xehanort was leaning against the entryway to the lounge, watching with a bored look. It only infuriated Sora but it was buried under all the fear and near hysteria. He wanted to steel himself and bite back at him, take up arms, do anything to defend himself-- but instead all Sora could do was yell, “What did you do?!” like some kind of trapped animal. Which… he was in this scenario.
Xehanort exhaled and shook his head. “This won’t do. Not while you’re all panicked like this.” Without a second thought he raised his arm up, palm extended toward Sora. Just then a wave of something hit Sora and he found himself pressing further against the glass.
It was an all too familiar sensation, one he was constantly hit with during the realm of sleep. Eyelids grew heavier and heavier while every bone in his body tried to fight against the sleep spell. He slumped over first, then one knee hit the ground. Then the other. Sora felt he would have fallen over if not for Xehanort approaching him and lacing a hand under his chin. Guiding Sora’s head up the boy grit his teeth and tried to stare back despite sleep easily overcoming him.
     He was smiling.
Just like when he broke Sora’s heart.
A gloved thumb stroked the side of his cheek. “Do calm down the next time you wake, won’t you, Sora?”
With that Sora surrendered to the sleep spell and toppled over into Xehanort’s legs. The taller one made a small tsk noise and bent down to pick him up, grunting only a little at the new weight. It was much easier in the realm of sleep when he was physically younger but he was tasked with keeping half an eye on Sora. He wouldn’t be doing his job if he left the boy to sleep on the floor of the Grey Area.
Just as he got situated with Sora in his arms Xehanort turned to leave the Grey Area only to discover another presence. Saix stood in the entryway as Xehanort approached, canting his head ever so slightly in reaction to the sight. “...Broken down already?”
“Not quite,” Xehanort shifted sora around a bit. “He woke up, had a hissy fit, so I thought he should sleep a little longer. … You know how it is upon receiving the fragment,” Xehanort added with a slight mischievous tone.
As expected Saix didn’t take well to that little jab but didn’t let it show on his face beyond his eyes narrowing a bit. Turning away Saix said before continuing further into the Grey Area. “See that you explain everything properly. I don’t wish to bother with the boy if I don’t have to.”
Xehanort watched Saix walk off with mild amusement before turning back into the corridor, glancing down at the sleeping vessels face. “Oh, I intend to.”

Kingdom Hearts Adventure - Ch.1: Traverse Town
‘Ugh...my head...’ I groaned as I slowly sat up. ‘W...what happened?’I looked around. I was in an unfamiliar town. There were flashing lights and fancy signs everywhere. However, there was no one in sight.‘Where are we...?’ I rubbed my head. ‘Lance, do you—?’I turned to see no one there. Not even Lance. I was on my own.‘Lance?!’ I started to panic. ‘Where are you?’I tried to calm myself and wandered around, I found myself at a small fountain with a beautiful mural behind it. I had approached it when I heard footsteps behind me, and I turned around.‘Lance?’ I called out nervously. ‘Is that you?’There was no one there.‘I could have sworn I heard footsteps,’ I thought aloud. ‘Maybe it was just my imagination...’Suddenly, a creature appeared out of nowhere. It was wearing navy blue clothing with a helmet. It had a shadowy face and beady, yellow eyes. I tried to run but more appeared, surrounding me. I reached for my bow.‘Huh?!’ I felt around the empty space behind me. ‘Where is it?!’The creatures slowly began to close in on me. I had nowhere to run or no weapon to fight with. I squeezed my eyes shut and waited for my end. There was a loud sound then I heard footsteps coming towards me.‘Are you alright?’ I heard someone say.I opened my eyes. There was a man with dark brown hair and a leather jacket. He was carrying a large sword with the handle in the shape of what looked to be a gun.‘Y-yeah... I mumbled. ‘Thanks.’‘You’re lucky I came when I did.’ He sighed. ‘Anyway, I’m Leon.’‘My n-name’s Ai.’ I stuttered.‘Ai, huh?’ Leon tapped his blade on his shoulder. ‘Have you seen anyone wielding a giant key anywhere?’I shook my head.‘Tell me if you do.’ He turned and began walking away.‘Wait!’ I cried, making him stop and turn to me. ‘Can I stay with you? At least until I have a weapon or something?’‘Fine...’ Leon let out an annoyed sigh. ‘Why are you by yourself anyway?’‘I...I don’t know...’ I fidgeted with my shirt. ‘M-my home was attacked by those shadowy creatures, and I woke up here.’‘You too, huh?’I looked at the ground, then back up at him.‘Have you seen my brother?’ I asked eagerly. ‘He has blonde hair, blue eyes and he’s a little taller than me.’‘Nope.’ Leon shook his head.I let out a worried sigh, ‘I hope he’s okay...’Leon led me into a hotel room. The walls and even the bedsheets were mostly green.‘Stay here and get some rest,’ Leon said. ‘You should be safe for now.’‘But—’‘No buts.’ He cut me off. ‘You’ll just get in the way.’I stared at the floor, ‘Okay…’‘I’ll be back soon,’ Leon said, walking towards the door. ‘Don’t let anyone else in until then.’I heard the door open and close as I sat on the bed with a sigh. As I lay down, I began to think of Lance.‘I hope you’re safe somewhere…’ I mumbled, struggling to keep myself awake.I opened my eyes to find myself lying on the ground in an unfamiliar place. As I looked around I noticed waterfalls, but they were different. They were falling in reverse, or rather, they were rising. There was water beneath me running off the edge of either side. Even though it looked deep, I didn’t sink under. ‘What a strange place…’ I thought aloud, climbing to my feet. ‘I wonder where this is...’ As I looked ahead, I saw two people talking. One of them had silver hair, was wearing baggy, blue pants. The other looked oddly familiar… ‘Lance!’ I called out, reaching out to him. However, he didn’t seem to notice me. I ran towards the two boys, but then a flash of light blinded me. I snapped awake as the door swung open. A girl with short, black hair strolled in, followed by Leon, who was carrying an unconscious boy around my age. I stood up quickly and moved out of the way as Leon placed the boy on the bed. ‘Is he okay?’ I asked. ‘He’s fine,’ Leon said, leaning against the door. ‘Squall gave him quite a beating,’ the short-haired girl butted in, Leon shooting her a glare. ‘I’m Yuffie, by the way. Squall mentioned you were here.’ ‘O-oh…’ I said. ‘But why did you attack him?’ ‘Long story.’ Leon tossed me a first aid kit. ‘Patch him up, would you?’ I nodded and began tending to the boy, treating any cuts and bandaging him up. I looked at his face. How could he look so peaceful after being so badly injured? ‘Oh, by the way.’ Leon interrupted my thoughts. ‘I found these lying around. Thought you could use it.’ I turned to face Leon, who was holding a bow and quiver. ‘My bow!’ I exclaimed. ‘You found it!’ Everyone turned to the boy as he began to stir. Yuffie walked over to the bed. ‘Come on, lazy bum,’ she said. ‘Wake up!’ The boy opened sat up and opened his eyes, looked over at Yuffie. ‘You okay?’ She bent down. ‘I…guess…’ The boy nodded. ‘Those creatures that attacked you are after the Keyblade,’ Yuffie began to explained. Keyblade? I looked over at Leon, and noticed the giant key resting on the wall next to him. ‘But it’s your heart they really want,’ she continued. ‘Because you wield the Keyblade.’ There was a long pause as the boy stared up at Yuffie. I guess he was trying to process what was happening. ‘I’m so glad that you’re okay Kairi,’ he finally said. ‘Kairi? Who are you talking about?’ Yuffie looked confused. ‘I’m the great ninja Yuffie!’ ‘Huh?’ Yuffie turned to glare at Leon, ‘I think you might’ve overdone it, Squall!’ ‘That’s ‘Leon’.’ ‘The Keyblade…’ The boy thought aloud. Yeah, we had to get it away you to shake off those creatures,’ Yuffie explained. ‘It turns out that’s how they were tracking you.’ ‘It was the only way to conceal your heart from them,’ Leon added. ‘But it won’t work for long.’ I watched as Leon picked up the key. ‘Still hard to believe that you of all people are the chosen one,’ he swung the key, testing it out before it vanished and reappeared in the boy’s hand. ‘Well, I guess beggars can’t be choosers.’ ‘So this is the person he was looking for…' I thought. ‘Why don’t you start making sense?!’ The boy frowned. ‘What’s going on here?’ Leon and Yuffie explained to the boy, whose name was apparently Sora, about dark creatures called the Heartless taking over worlds and consuming them with darkness. The Keyblade was apparently one of the only things those creatures feared, and it had chosen Sora as its master, so he’d constantly be a target. ‘Well, I didn’t ask for this.’ Sora complained. ‘The Keyblade chooses its master,’ Yuffie said. ‘And it chose you!’ ‘So, tough luck.’ Leon waved his hand. ‘Are you saying there’s no way to help him?’ I finally piped up. ‘There has to be a way!’ ‘Nope,’ Leon shook his head. ‘He’ll just have to learn to fight.’ ‘How did this even happen?’ Sora looked at the Keyblade. ‘I remember being in my room…’ He gasped and jumped to his feet. ‘Wait a minute! What happened to my home?! My Island?!’ He cried. ‘Riku! Kairi!’ ‘Riku and Kairi? Were they his friends?’ ‘You know what?’ Leon began. ‘I really don’t know.’ ‘Ai.’ Yuffie turned to me. ‘Maybe you could ask Sora.’ I paused for a moment, before turning to Sora, who waiting for me to speak. ‘U-um…have you seen a boy…?’ I stuttered, sitting down beside him. ‘He’s blond, and a little taller than me…’ Sora shook his head. ‘Where could he be…? I’m scared…’ I whimpered and covered my face with my hands as tears clouded my vision. ‘He could be hurt…or worse!’ I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked up to see Sora giving me a gentle smile. ‘Don’t cry,’ he said. ‘I’m sure he’s okay. In fact, I bet he’s looking for you right now!’ ‘Y-you think so?’ I sniffled, wiping my eyes. Sora nodded. I smiled, ‘Th-thanks…’ ‘Leon!’ Yuffie yelled, pointing at the Heartless at the door. ‘Yuffie and Ai, go!’ Leon pointed to the door joining the hotel rooms. Leon hit the Heartless through the window. Yuffie ran through the door and joined with another girl, but I stood there and frowned. ‘I’m going with you!’ I said. ‘Ai, no!’ Leon snapped. ‘Go with Yuffie!’ ‘I have my bow now,’ I cried. ‘I can help!’ ‘Let her come,’ Sora butted in. Leon fell silent for a moment, before letting out a defeated sigh. ‘Sora, Ai…’ He said. ‘Let’s go!’ Leon jumped out the window he hit the Heartless through, with Sora and I following behind. When he joined Leon on the ground, we saw that we were surrounded by Heartless. ‘Don’t worry about the small fry!’ Leon yelled. ‘Find their leader!’ Leon ran off before we could stop him. ‘Shall we?’ I turned to Sora, who nodded. I followed him as we ran through hordes of Heartless, occasionally taking out any that would attack us. We finally got to an area that seemed quiet and free of Heartless. ‘Are you okay?’ Sora asked me. ‘Yeah, nothing I can’t handle,’ I replied. ‘You?’ ‘I’m fine,’ he said. ‘Let’s take a look around the area.’ Sora ran down the stairs and disappeared behind the wall. ‘W-wait for me!’ I cried, running after him. I then heard some screaming and a loud crash. I quickly ran around the corner to see a duck, and a dog lying on Sora. All were dazed and confused. When they finally snapped out of it, they noticed Sora’s Keyblade. ‘The key!’ They both exclaimed. At that moment, there was a huge earthquake and a large pillar sprung up in front of me. ‘Sora!’ I called out, hitting the wall. ‘I’m okay!’ I heard him yell back. I looked up and saw Heartless appear and jump down to the other side. ‘Oh no!’ I cried, running back up the stairs. When I reached the top, I peeked over the railing to see Sora and the other two fighting off the Heartless that surrounded them. ‘Sora!’ I waved. ‘I’ll fight from up here with my bow!’ Sora looked up and nodded, ‘Be careful!’ Sora and the others fought off the Heartless below, while I shot at any that got too close to them. Eventually, we managed to clear them out. Sora took a couple of steps forward, looking around. I watched quietly, anxiety in my gut. At that moment, some large objects fell from the sky before coming together as one giant Heartless. ‘I-it’s huge!’ My eyes widened. ‘Be careful, Sora!’ I readied my bow, loading up an arrow before aiming it at the helmet of the creature. I fired, but it had no effect on the monster. All I could do was watch helplessly as Sora and the others fought the creature. I was afraid that they would be beaten, but they managed to defeat it. The Heartless began to violently shake before falling to pieces, a glowing heart float from it into the sky. I ran down to greet Sora. ‘So, you were looking for me?’ Sora asked, pointing to himself. The two nodded. ‘They, too, have been seeking the wielder of the Keyblade,’ a voice said from behind us. We turned around to see that Leon and Yuffie had joined us. ‘Hey! Why don’t you come with us?’ The taller of the two strangers said to Sora. ‘We can go to other worlds on our vessel!’ ‘Other worlds…’ I thought. ‘Maybe that’s where I’ll find Lance…’ ‘I wonder if I could find Riku and Kairi…’ Sora said. ‘Of course!’ The duck piped up. The two then turned around and began whispering something to each other. ‘Sora, go with them,’ Leon joined in. ‘Especially if you want to find your friends.’ ‘Yeah, I guess…’ Sora hung his head. ‘But you can’t come along looking like that. Understand?’ The duck said. ‘No frowning, no sad faces. Okay?’ ‘Yeah, ya gotta look funny. Like us!’ The taller one grinned, before being shoved aside. ‘This boat runs on happy faces!’ ‘Happy?’ Sora didn’t look up as the two waited. ‘Sora…?’ I reached out to put my hand on his shoulder when all of a sudden he looked up with the silliest grin on his face. There was silence, and Sora looked at them in confusion before they burst out laughing. Even I giggled a little bit. ‘That’s one funny face!’ The tall one said. ‘Okay, why not?’ Sora nodded. ‘I’ll go with you guys!’ ‘Donald Duck!’ The duck held up his hand. ‘The name’s Goofy!’ The taller one put his hand over Donald’s. ‘And I’m Sora!’ Sora joined them. ‘All for one, one for all!’ Goofy cheered. ‘Oh! Wait, before we go…’ Sora turned to me. ‘Can she come too?’ ‘Hmm…’ Donald folded his arms, thinking. ‘I-I promise I won’t get in the way!’ I bowed. ‘Please, I’m looking for my brother!’ ‘Well…’ Donald began. ‘She should come too!’ Sora butted in. ‘She’s worried sick about him!’ ‘Very well,’ Donald said. ‘Oh! Thank you so much!’ I smiled with tears in my eyes. ‘Don’t start crying now!’ Sora said jokingly, patting me on the head. ‘It’ll be okay.’
This was the start of a big adventure that I’d never forget.
