Okay, so this took me a thousand hours to decide because there's a couple that I have in my head

And I know you said one, and I will provide my top one, but I have to list the top three because they're all pretty much tied. I also think it's incredibly ironic that my top three lers are also my favorite lees. I don't know if you know any of these characters so I provided a bit of background information for reference

1. At the top of the list.... Chishiya!

I've only known about him for a couple of weeks but that was enough~ I would also like to preface all of these by saying, do I think any of these characters actually would tickle me? No, because most of them are either assholes or would think it's weird. But I am choosing to ignore that for the sake of this question~

So he's a character in Alice in Borderland, which is a show about people who participate in death games and shit. But Chishiya was the Cheshire Cat-esque character, hence the name, so just imagine that vibe for his character. He makes me go absolutely feral, and the idea of him doing it is,,,,,, yeah. I feel like there would be one of his classic slight smiles and a head cock somewhere in there as he watched your reactions, and that would perish me on the spot.

2. Mostly tying out is.... Damien!

So Damien is from The Bright Sessions, and is essentially this guy who can make people do whatever he wants through projecting his own desires via superpowers. He's also half smug asshole/pathetic wet cat of a man. It is the latter half that makes him so tickly-able, but the first half that has him on this list. If you heard his voice, you'd get it. He does this kind of deep drawl thing with it, and his voice is so fucking smug and teasy for literally no reason, it's absolutely not necessary for anything that he says. But whenever he "wins" against someone, he's consistently rubbing it in their face and it's annoying but also,,,, yeah, just but also.

3. Returning as one of my og faves.... Connor from DBH!

He's an android from the game Detroit Become Human, which is essentially about these AI androids that gain life and learn what it means to be human while overcoming bigotry and a bunch of other shit. But Connor was an android cop that was sent to investigate the case, and eventually starts to become deviant, or human, himself. But he's such an attentive, perceptive character because he has to be. His whole job is about analyzing other people. So he can pick up when others are embarrassed and why, and he'll just fucking point it out because he doesn't know you don't talk about those things. So the idea of him noticing that you're ticklish and that you like it, because he would absolutely pick up on that, and pointing it out is beyond flustering for no reason.

As for what they say about me, I think one safe conclusion is that I like assholes lol. But in reality, I think it's mostly reaction based. Having somebody really, truly see me, notice things about me, and discover what things get to me, is such a flustering but nice concept. Just having someone work to get a certain reaction out of you, or tease you when they notice the effect something is having on you, especially if you're trying to hide it. I just like being teased guys. Tk or otherwise, it's such a giddy, happy feeling and I'm obsessed with it.

Hi Goldy, it’s been awhile…where have you been? This is an appreciation post for your blog. I love your write ups, thought process and inputs so much because it makes the most sense to me. There are times when I watch a moment and notice some things, i search a lot of blogs but their takes are different from what I perceive because I sometimes view things from a different perspective and then I come here and I’m justified that at least one person is sharing the same brain cells with me. When your predictions becomes reality it gives me joy and I think in order to do that then it means you connected with the boys on a personal level and see them as humans not fictional characters. I enjoyed going through your posts dated way back because I’m a new Army…it gave me the most joy and I connected with the boys more personally and your long write ups are da bombs😍😍.

Ps: Don’t abandon us here 🙏🙏. Visit us once in awhile with a lengthy post so I can grab my peanuts and sip my juice while settling for a long and enjoyable read.

I'm just at a place where everything Hybe does annoys me and I am not happy with the direction anything is going. I feel this is a make or break moment and they are just messing up big time. Or may be I just have to trust the process but if they don't bombard me with content soon, I might have to break into the vaults at Gybe headquarters and steal some disks.

Forget doing Solo projects one by one, do it all at once, confuse the shit out of me, make it hard for me to choose whom to support first, overwhelm me, squeeze me for all my penny, I wanna go broke and bankrupt, my sell my property and live on the streets.

Do you know how disappointed I was to find out Jungkook going camping was all staged and not as spontaneous and autonomous/ entirely free willed as I thought it would be- when the director asked him to go get food for just content I stopped watching the video. It took me some days to get back to it.

Also yes, we all thought we heard Jimin laugh in there somewhere. It was strange. Didn't know a lot of people sounded like other people. Never mind me.

With this DraKoola project, I think I'm falling in love with Jungkook 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Jungkook is a creative genius. If he came up with this concept on his own, I promise you it didn't come to him in a vacuum and is intricately and inextricably linked to all arts he is created even if it is on a subconscious level. I can't wait to dissect that shit.

I hate that we have to wait for the others one after the other and wish they released it all at the same time. Going solo means seven things can happen at once in different ways.

Making us wait for their turns feel much like OT7 which is one of the things that frustrated me to begin with with the whole OT7 agenda. I mean if they worked under different labels I don't think they would care who went first or not and they would do things concurrently not consecutively 🤷.

It seems Hybe is trying to eliminate competition amongst them while making sure they each get Army's full and undivided attention- but I think FUCK THAT SHIT. LET THEM COMPETE FOR OUR ATTENTION HUNGER GAMES STYLE.

KEEP THEM ON THEIR TOES. CHALLENGE THEM SO THEY CHALLENGE THEMSELVES.

I’m here to submit a discussion point on the topic of jealous Rhett… do you think link realizes it? And to what extent? How long into their lives do you think it took him to figure it out. Omg I need 10k words on link realizing Rhett is in love with him because of the way he responds to the other men around him. Like, the beginning of Jurisdiction captures this PERFECTLY with Link’s asshole coworkers.

This is exactly how I wrote that group of guys. And even ham-fistedly put Rhett in the headspace of noting he relates to girls being hit on (by said guys) who are putting up with the jerks for a shot at flirting with Link (which I still stand by being very realistic motive) and what Rhett’s done all his life. He understands the POV. Rhett never sees them as competition ostensibly because he doesn’t want to be associated with the guys, but he also never sees girls flirt with Link and gets annoyed. If Rhett was out talking up Link to girls, he’s having a good night. He wants Link to be happy and settle down, he just doesn’t realize it can be with him.

Same goes for the rest of the time. I don’t think he realizes that anyone that Link seems to trust or value the words or time or opinion of more than Rhett's is deemed inherently suspicious unless they can unfurl a huge list of bonafides that make them a person worthy of listening to (per Rhett). He thinks he’s just a good judge of character, I bet, but he’s mostly screening for people Link may hang his worldview on, instead of him. (I’m gonna guess/hope Rhett in therapy is trying to accept this won’t happen/let go of the controlling elements of it.) It’s an obvious and admitted fear that he won’t be Good Enough for [someone] and we can just say Link, in this scenario. Because we all know Rhett will be out researching "How To Fix A Plate Glass Sliding Door Track” on YouTube when he hears Link got a new handyman’s number and the guy invited him to his barbecue that weekend since he’s making authentic Western NC pulled pork sandwiches. Always just biding his time to outshine the next opponent. He’s undefeated, 37-0.

(Or in the story's plot, snap and give Link an ultimatum to choose him or them, out of sheer desperation, since he feels forgotten/overlooked by Link, which is his literal worst nightmare, in my mind. This is what he's been microdosing with these jealousy moments. What it would feel like if Link ever followed through: that feeling, all the time, confirmation that in this one way he was in fact not Good Enough. I imagine the fear is him wondering how long until I’m not Good Enough in all the ways. AKA: Will I be abandoned in the way that I have been raised to worry could happen if I’m Bad (and in fact have threatened to do myself, ie. leaving Link on the side of the road) because of this failure?)

- and on the non-fiction side of things -

I think, generally, Link does know this, deep down. But with all things Link, that means it's basically subterranean.

He knows he gets catered to because of his moods and his pickiness and that's fine. Because same goes with his other partner and family. 😌 And as we know Rhett's been helping Link be Link back when these types of preferences were far less normal. They're Xennials, so Link would be what a lot of his peers would describe as babied. Think about the tendencies that were not worn out of him by bullies because he had Rhett with him, defending him or easing him into new things, even just by standing next to him as a silent threat.

So, big picture: kind of.

In his current day, I think he does know that Rhett has an obsession with this whole [tumblr] thing and shipping in general.

Rhett treats them pushing the envelope/"intimacy for clicks" as he does with getting Link to try sushi he doesn't want to because the restaurant charges $250 prix fixe, and it's a waste of money otherwise (even if the other food was bomb). People like Rhett (ie. from my own projection experience) have preset arguments to get people like Link (still also basically picky eater me, so I know what he's arguing for) to try new things.

He doesn't do it as sloppy as he scenario he presented in that one MS car vlog about forcing fun on groups. It's more like: he has a reason for every pushback scenario. As much as we dog on Rhett for having unrealistic expectations or Link for being a picky eater, let me say: 1) I'm way more picky than Link. way. more. (ie. I've never had coffee), 2) people have not made it a goal to introduce me to more foods beyond the basics, 3) I can say for a fact that Link has been introduced to a lot through this method by comparison. And Rhett has been around the whole time. We know the first time Link had Mexican food was near adulthood (if I am recalling that correctly, it's some ubiquitous food I can't place). The follow-up thought for me is always, wow, it took Rhett a while to find that one. It’s almost always Rhett or a loved one getting Link to try it, even if he doesn’t like it. Because he doesn’t like a lot of things, but he’s tried all of them to know that. And he’s kept eating things he may never have tried otherwise. That is the common thread.

So. Rhett's been slowly getting him to try more and has been succeeding more than even Link realizes. Getting him comfortable with at least trying new things once for safety. Made a show and a career and a living out of it. Still working on more and more valid arguments to at least try to step outside your comfort zone. Link definitely knows this.

If Rhett keeps at the "Lady and the Tramp"-ing business and the "let's be R-rated and talk about our sex lives" and "let's go on group vacations to places where social customs and norms are more flexible"? That could definitely happen. I think Rhett is actually constantly trying to get Link to take a more active role in this and won’t stop until he does. But only once he’s comfortable.

And maybe then kissing is on the menu.
