the whole “a submarine that costs 250k per ticket and is made up of cobbled-together parts that you can only open from the outside because it is secured by 17 deadbolts went missing while carrying several very rich people to tour the wreckage of the titanic, a ship that over 1500 (mostly working class) people died on, a ship whose wreckage should not become a tourist attraction because people fucking died there” situation that’s going on right now is just. so much in a way that i can’t really describe

naur because 2x15 'irresistible' is honestly not even canon to me as an episode. why would zane of all people desire a potion that would make rikki fall at his feet and hang on his every word. my guy had a version of that with miriam and HATED it, as soon as the girl who had been making snide, sarcastic comments in his general direction for months became available as a romantic prospect he basically fell for her on the spot. rikki is loud and brash and picks fights over the slightest provocation, and zane adores her for it. if it is to be said so it be

PSA -
if earlier this year we've been in contact for a commission (before my brain crapped itself and sent me to burnout land) PLEASE contact me again if you still want one! I am trying to fill my schedule for oct-nov-dec with prev inquiries/waitlisted/etc
as for general openings I will likely reopen in January, but I have to find a way that doesn't give me the perception of overload so I might restrict to 2-3 slots per month
I might also be doing a quick round of those kofi sketches again soon - was thinkking of a bg3 oc edition round!!! lmk if you'd like that!!

In honour of your yellow moodboard, a yellow prompt for Willie: "I think I broke my leg."
Julie had practically given up on her homework when her phone rang, the screen displaying the caller may be potential spam. Normally she wouldn’t answer these but given the choice between potentially being able to troll some scammer or pull out her own hair, she chose the former. Not even bothering to hide her frustration from her greeting?
“Julie?”
Her brows furrowed, incredibly tempted to hang up then but something about the vague familiarity of their voice kept her on the line. “Who is this?”
“It’s Willie.”
“Willie?” That got her to sit up straighter, automatically looking around her room for Alex even though she already knew he wasn’t there. “What? How did you call me?”
“Ghost trick.” He chuckled though it sounded strained.
“Oh.” She did vaguely remember the guys mentioning Willie being able to mess with electronics. Even heard Carlos mention some supposed true stories of ghosts being able to talk through radios and phones, she just didn’t expect it to be true. “Uuuh, sorry but Alex isn’t here right now.”
“Actually,” Willie took a sharp breath that sounded like a hiss across the line. “I didn't want to panic him and I didn’t know who else to call.”
“Why? What’s going on?”
“I think. . I think I broke my leg.”
“What?” Julie’s brain briefly short circuited, wrapping her head around the sentence. She couldn’t have heard him right. “How?”
Another strained laugh and hiss of air. “Yeah, I landed this trick wrong, and didn’t catch myself properly.”
“But you’re a ghost” She practically screeches, interrupting his explanation
“So are the guys.”
It’s a bizarrely valid argument in a conversation she never expected to have. Ever since the post Orpheum hug the guys had been toeing the line between life and death until it wasn’t clear if there even was a line there anymore.
“Right.” She says with a sigh, there are more important things to focus on at the moment. “Can you still poof?”
“I haven’t tried, wasn’t sure where to poof to, y’know?”
“Yeah,” she agrees, not sure herself where they should even take him to get checked out. Would he even be visible to a doctor? Were there any ghost doctors? “Ok, how about you try poofing here, and if you can’t we may have to get the guys involved. Then we’ll figure out where to go from there.”
“Yeah, yeah ok.” He says and the line goes dead.
While she knows he didn’t want to worry Alex, she doubts she can figure this out on her own and informing Luke or Reggie meant it eventually getting back to Alex regardless. So while she shoots a 911 text to Flynn she mentally pulls for the guys and goes to warn her Dad of the potential impending freakouts.

hey, regular reminder that if you get someone in your inbox (that you have never interacted with before/has never been following you) asking you to reblog a post on their blog (sob story asking for donations, usually about a pet to make it extra guilt-trippy) and they specifically ask you to answer this ask privately (for a vague and weak reason, why wouldn't they want more eyes on this post?) and then you go to their blog and their account is days old at most (and they're even claiming they have an old account that got shadowbanned ((?? being "shadowbanned" on tumblr does not mean you can't still post from that account?)) but never mention the url of that old blog) and all their reblogs are straight from the op and not from anyone they might be following who reblogged the post first (indicating they just quickly searched a semi-popular fandom tag to reblog some innocuous fanart to make the blog seem lived in)-
this is probably a scam :/ keep your eye out for odd details, inconsistency, and a glaring lack of credibility. stay safe out there everypony.

the post is full of shady replies so i’m not rbing it but this reposted tiktok and its comments about how living the tradwife life could leave you with nothing if your husband divorces you and you have a 10-year gap on your resume is making me emotional. my grandpa didn’t believe in women going to college BUT he wanted my mom and her sisters to have a fallback in case the men in their lives didn’t treat them right. fast forward to a decade+ ago when my d*d randomly removed my mom from their joint bank account so she decided to go from being a sahm to teaching to have some money of her own (which she basically just spent on me and my brothers…) and then ofc she got divorced and couldn’t rely on alimony bc she knew no matter what lawyers said she would not be seeing a cent from him, but she had a good job so she was all right. it’s just crazy to me that your archetypal midwestern war vet cop could spot a problem in the 80s that people are brushing off today. let’s all keep separate bank accounts ok 👍
