I always loved the working relationship between Wolverine & reporter Melita Garner which later evolves into a romance between the two! Melita helps gather info beneficial for Logan’s superhero activities, while Logan gathers info beneficial to Melita’s journalistic career!
Seriously, the romance between Logan & Melita’s relationship would later evolve into was honestly such a heartwarming highlight of Jason Aaron's Wolverine run as a whole! Melita's honestly my personal favorite love-interest for Logan!
Also, her calling Spider-Man a "dweeb" had me on the floor laughing! And I say that as a diehard fan of the web-head!
From Wolverine: Weapon X #5 & #10 by Jason Aaron, Ron Garney & C.P. Smith.

This is still one of my favorite panels from Jason Aaron’s run on Wolverine! Logan and his new girlfriend Melita Garner are sharing their interests, and when Logan asks why she doesn’t like westerns Melita rightfully points out that John Wayne was a massive racist.
Melita’s absolutely right! Screw John Wayne! Especially for that time he threatened to physically assault Native American actress Sacheen Littlefeather on stage at the 1973 Academy Awards, and had to be restrained by six fully grown men in order to prevent him from doing so:
