Uh, this might be my own personal desire for Audrey to be slightly less awful than canon (in part so she can’t be fully blamed for Chloe’s actions the way ML writers tried to), but was Audrey actually feeling bad for Zoe when she cried? I know it might be more of a general discomfort with vulnerability and sadness, but to me it felt like maybe Audrey does care that she made her kid so distressed, even as an akuma.

You are not hallucinating. She felt kinda bad that Zoe was crying. This is an SL exclusive.

I desperately want more queerplatonic representation in media. I want qprs that are married with children, qprs with sexual elements, qprs where not everyone involved is aro, young and old qprs, toxic qprs with messy breakups. I know there is no way #quackity or #quackityStudios are going to see this but as someone who lives 20 minutes from a pokemon center (alongside a patreon) i'm BEGGING for them to do plushies. Plushies of eggs in every event skin. Different signature hats.

People LOVE the egg designs. They LOVE how cute they are. Tiny egg plushies. HELL. BIG EGGS. That would be about the size the eggs would be for cosplayers that could be expensive.

The amount of people I see leave the pokemon center with multiple of the same pokemon in different plushie form is crazy and if it was FUNDING the admins and not a big corporation??? all the better.

Jack was super ecstatic, this is the closest thing he's getting to a grandchild so far, since his own kids aren't even all teenagers yet. He and Sally gift at least half of the baby shower registry, and contribute to meal trains and helping deep clean the moms' house, things a lot of parents or parents to be can always find helpful.

But he made the mistake of allowing Shock and Rosa to announce it to the whole town during a town meeting, knowing well that this kid was going to be raised to cause terror.

At least both moms had fun.

i can't stop thinking about eiffel's birthday. he's almost forty. there's no way he ever thought he would live to be forty, by bad luck or bad habits; he was facing twenty-six years in prison before he was thirty, he thought he'd die in deep space (in a multitude of ways), and even before all of that... i don't think eiffel ever planned to have a future, not really. he's almost forty. he's old enough to watch his daughter grow up. to get gray in his hair. to have all of the junk food he's eaten in his life finally catch up to him.

and on the other side of that, you know he teased minkowski relentlessly when she turned forty, with no foresight that it would one day be him. and he is so, so lucky she's not as petty as she could be. i don't think turning forty bothered her that much, but eiffel? oh he's going to have a crisis. he should get a motorcycle; he tinkers with it and shows it off and talks about it constantly, but he never learns how to actually ride it. he keeps putting that part off.

he's turning forty. i realize the implications of that really depend on how you feel about eiffel post-canon, in a variety of ways. but to me it's like a celebration of his long history of unlikely survival. it's so funny and heartbreaking and heartwarming in equal measure, and i think that's a very doug eiffel combination of emotions.

5 episodes into Rings of Power and still enjoying the hell out of myself. The first scene with the travelling song is more in spirit with Tolkien than almost anything I’ve ever seen. It’s not Tolkien if people aren’t singing okay? I wanna know who wrote those lyrics they’re amazing

Numenor remains close to perfect, I’m loving all the dwarven culture stuff (says a lot for someone who never really cared about dwarves), and the elves (except the hair) are all pretty on point. I mean Arondir apologized to a tree. That’s so elf it hurts.

people say amazon wanted their own GoT but this isn’t GoT. There’s no gratuitous violence or torture for one thing, even with the orcs who canonically do pretty terrible things to their prisoners (and I’m 100% certain they’re going with the elvish origin which has many Unfortunate Implications). They haven’t even mentioned the canonical incest (yet). Though most of that was First Age and all of it ended in tragedy.

and yes, there are politics, people scheming, dying, there’ll probably be some murders but have you read the fucking silmarillion??? This show is actually LIGHT compared to some of the stuff in the Silm (the top tags on AO3 are pretty informative actually lmao)

But the point is I don’t get GoT vibes at all. YMMV but IMO this show is much closer to the spirit of Middle-earth than people think.

If this was a fanfic I’d be hooked refreshing the page! It’s a high budget fanfic. Bougie Tolkien Junk Food.
