Well Headmistress Griffin may have help stop Valtor from destroying Magix and an ally of The Winx Club, Headmistress Griffin is just doing her job. She allows the students to choose whether they use their powers for good or evil. Headmistress Griffin did say that witches are not inherently evil and they just use dark magic instead of light magic to fight against evil same as fairies. Plus most witches attend Cloud Tower as it is popular. Witches need to attend school to become full-fledged witches and practice their craft. Therefore it is their choice and maybe Headmistress Griffin and some teachers did their best to persuade them, but failed and just accept it. At least she never encouraged the Trix in their power-struggle against the Winx, grateful for The Winx on Season One, Episode 6, and she deflected The Ancestral Witches because she crossed the line with mass murder and not willing to commit it. Plus, Headmistress Griffin expelled The Trix from The Cloud Tower on Season One, Episode 16 and Season One, Episode 26.

So at least there are witches being taught and trained to increase their powers and to use their powers responsibly as to help preserve the Magic Dimension and fight against evil using dark magic, albeit while learning things like curses and taking part in mischievous deeds along the way.

The fact that the TV Show show the audiences that witches are bad/evil and fairies are good, to me, it show just how society from other realms see witches as ones. Even though witches’ role are being responsible in protecting Magix while keeping the balance of good and evil & light and darkness according to the comics. Which is why witches and fairies have been seen working together in times of hardship or realm-wide emergencies, and can cooperate after some time together. There are also significant and long-lasting friendships made between witches and fairies, even with some friendly rivalry. For example, Faragonda and Headmistress Griffin are friends.

The notable rivalry between witches and fairies is definitely the reason/an impact to why society from the realms of Magix see witches and fairies the way as it is. The many tensions between the two groups, including exclusion from certain events or physical confrontation when provoked because of their opposed natures. It has been stated that witches do not like fairies because they think fairies live easy lives, which it is definitely true, despite the fairies having their own responsibilities and have their own problems and challenges they are facing/have to face/had face and the sacrifices they have to made for the greater good.…

Pick two of your characters. If they were in Avatar, what kind of bender would they be and what fighting style would they have?

I can see Janaya more of in-between a fire bender and a water bender. His father’s spell, the Kill Ball and I saw some SVTFOE Next Gen Content Creators whose give Janna the ability to use magic, have her use a fire magic attribute. So I am going with him being a fire bender. His fightning style would be a mixture of Tai Chi, Eschrima/Kali, and Northern Shaolin. The Tai Chi aspect on firebending is inspired by Zuko using Tai Chi in his fightning style when bending fire, when he joins Aang, Katara, Toph, Sokka, Appa, and Momo.

Fengge would be a wind bender and his fightning style would be Baguazhang. Since he was bless with wind manipulation by Ring Ring, it make sense for him to be a wind bender.
