All jokes aside I absolutely love her, and every character appearing in those panels (fuuko and Nico are litteraly my top 2 chars in UU, and like, there’s around 20 S tier character in that series imo so that’s saying something)

Read UU, or Watch the anime then read it, it’s the epitome of what shonen can be when it just doesn’t focus on hype badass character moment and actually works on their character outside of just looks and quotes.

On an absolutely unrelated subject, mha’s fight against AFO/shigaraki-AFO is FINALLY over, unless they bring him back for the 3rd time. I really couldn’t get into the mood the last few chapters tried to settle because it was mostly : Deku getting a pet talk by quite litteraly every character, him being like "I don’t have OFA anymore, except I do have it for this one punch" AFO using very specific attacks to be countered by very specific B side character of class 1-A like the lazer for hagakure, without any real cohesion in the fight it’s just litteraly "everyone use all your powers at the same time" and then they kept going with what they tried to do by validating izuru "nobody is iredimeable" point of view by having AFO at the very last moments be like "noooo, it’s because I don’t want to be alone, I actually loved my brooo".

Like, it’s not agressively bad, if you’re still 100% into the series (and you haven’t read / watch much other mangas, especially the ones during big 3 era) I can see it being a super cool moment, but the issue for me is it all feels forced, downright cliche, heck, even the hero assemble thing just doesn’t work out because let’s be real we’ve BARELY seen those guys before, they’re just here as a group, not individuals. And the C tiers (appart from like sero) didn’t even appeared, instead the focus was on the B tiers who did have a few moments and are already popular enough, like kirishima, Mina, todoroki (again) and bakugo (AGAIN, like seriously that dude litteraly took down / stalled AFO the first time, let other character shine godamn it)

Basically my problem is it tries to go for stuff that just doesn’t match what the series has actually been doing. It’s been focusing on very few chars while having what feel like a good 50 background characters that have less personality than a vilain of the week non recurring char in jojo, so going for the whole "teamwork" thing doesn’t work, heck there’s barely any real teamwork in that series except for a few fights (and the best one is still the ida + midoriya + todoroki vs stain one) the rest is mostly just "background team will barely help with some big event / side bad guys going on in the background while Main hero will fight main vilain"

That and to be fair I lost all emotional attachement to anything about this series around dark deku arc, I had trouble a bit before, but this arc consolidated me with the "yeah no, I don’t care what this story is trying to convey anymore, and I just feel like they’re doing popular trope to milk instead of actually progressing on a good rythm"

Uh, initially it was a ichico / UU praise and it turned into a mha rant, weird.
