I think the most annoying part about all of this watcher shit is that if they had just originally said they'd be releasing content earlier and ad-free on their own website, none of this would've happened. Like sure maybe people would be a little bit upset/disappointed they couldn't afford to see things earlier, but at the very least they wouldn't have completely obliterated their reputation and ostracized their fan base. They just went about this in such a shitty and demeaning way and I'm glad they apologized and backpedaled, but I sincerely don't know how they come back from this, especially after it took them three days to respond. I don't know how their audience will ever be able to trust them again

What frustrates me most with the Watcher response is that it completely misses the point that people were also trying to say that we don’t watch Watcher because of fancy effects. We watch it because we like Shane and Ryan’s personalities. This is a lukewarm apology, fair enough and good enough, but it’s so frustrating that they missed the point.

That's the thing! I have to applaud the interviewer for phrasing the question so smartly:

1, at the end of the day, this is a M&G interview, but whether or not intentional, asking this sequel question in comparison to rwrb only has one answer of rwrb: M&G is based in history, and from what we have so far, we can tell that it follows Geroge into the Spanish War, which isn't that far from King James' death: if some sort of sequel were to be produced, it would be about Charles I reign; George was killed two years after his accession, so even if M&G didn't end with George's fate, Nick as George... wouldn't be that much in a M&G sequel. But for rwrb: 1, it's fictional, so there's plenty of space to expand upon 2, WE'RE ALL SCREAMING AND DEMANDING ONE

2, He asked if Nick would be willing to do a sequel, not whether or not there would be a sequel. Nick's not in a place to say whether or not that would definitively happen even if he knew, that's for Prime to announce. But this confirms his own interest and willingness.

Like we get some of it in the movies but it feels like show hiccup dials it up to 11 and I love that

All of them have such a good back and forth in the shows, and Hiccup is just so sassy.

I feel like the movies do such a good job establishing Hiccup's sarcasm and sort of dry humor (especially the first one), but I feel like we really get the time to see it on full display in the tv shows and i love it
