hi! when you do conventions and meet the guest and buy a personalized video, what do you usually ask? I want to buy one for ronen but I’m talking to him this weekend so idk if he’s going to be like “didn’t I just talk to you” ??? 😭

hi! so for personalized videos, you can ask a question or ask for a specific message (respectfully of course), or if you want to thank them for something, for example I once asked rafa if he has advice on how to deal on days where anxiety gets bad and with ronen I once asked if he has advice on dealing with creative mind blocks, and the guest could record them before or after the con I believe but that's done outside of the con, like separate of the con meeting(s). ronen's videos are always a serotonin boost!

Back from the con! and it was a lot of fun!!! got to hang out with my friends and got to try new things as well, but I think the traveling got to me and I am just feeling bleh at the moment, I made sure I ATE! you know who you are when you see this lol. so I am gonna be resting for a bit before I start to work on asks again and I might upload some personal stories I have had brewing in my head for a while.

I have never done one as a- can't afford it and b- I think it would mess with my head. I literally would be so panicked I wouldn't be able to speak lol

Went to a con today and found some pretty cool Zelda stuff, I got the wolf link amiibo for ten bucks from a clueless vendor and saw an actual CDI game in person

I have so many thoughts but I at least want to address the "for the new unicorn" note. because first of all it's so incredibly gratifying for izzy to finally be accepted into a community. it was shown before that the crew cares for him in some way but it was the first time he really saw that. that he isn't useless and alone, that he still has a place on the ship. even more so the crew WANTS HIM to be on the ship. and also that they want him to embrace his disability which doesn't make them think any less of him.

but also the choice of words. because inherently it rings queer, unicorn as a symbol of queerness. and even if it may have a negative sound when you use it differently here it is extremely positive. izzy is not only accepted to the crew, he's also accepted to the queer community, to the family. the unicorn on the revenge was also the one that was leading the ship, so one can argue that they want him to take that role in their dynamic.

and you can see that he does so immediately. he puts himself together and starts helping the crew. he's still bitchy but no longer violent and cruel. he helps stede and lucius immensely because that is what he does now. he's part of the family. twat.

I want to make something super clear: all of Brennan Lee Mulligan’s battles are to the death. It is kill, or be killed and that extends to the Rat Grinders.

Hi I have another convention question! I want to try and get a 2 word sentence writen out by Jensen with his signature...do you have any advice on how to ask for that or what is the best way to try and ask without sounding I guess you can say demanding?? I don't wanna sound rude to him if he doesn't want to do it....also how did you go about getting your autographs tattooed?? How did that process work?

So... technically, you're not allowed to ask for that anymore. At least at the cons I went to. They 'don't have time' to personalize autos for everyone, so they're not supposed to do it. I was very lucky. I got up to Jensen and I handed him a blank piece of paper and I said "if it's ok, i'd love for you to write my first tattoo." and I told him what I wanted Dean to write, and he said OK even though his handler tried to yell at me. Jensen was like "no, it's cool" and he did it. he was great.

I've also asked Misha to write me out something (i decided later not to get it inked on me bc I wasn't too thrilled with it but anyway)-- again, i just politely asked if it was OK with them... Also got in trouble again, but Misha was nice and wrote it for me.

If you're going to ask- just... have the thing ready that you'd like them to write. Don't ask them to wing it (misha was super confused)... and read the room. If they look like they're miserable and stressed- I wouldn't ask. You can kinda tell if they're in a good mood or not. Just be kind and polite and hopefully they'll do it for you.

To get it inked is easy- just meet up with your tattoo artist and hand them over the autograph and say "i'd like this on my ass please" or... wherever you're getting it. lol. I still want Jensen's autograph on my ass like a cabbage patch doll. but that's another story. lol Anyway- they'll be able to do the transfers and then ink it easily. I think my Jensen tattoo took 2 hours start to finish with him whipping it up on the spot.
