post about the WIP of minecraft modeling adventure. i was unfamiliar with any of the programs involved so naturally i had to make the most overcomplicated weird model imaginable

CustomPlayerModels did NOT like having a dragon shape with 10 limbs & 4 heads in 6 poses with a hover-standing loop & all while wearing armor. literally like every 2 minutes the program would stop working with giving random errors failing to save or having property menus just refuse to open. at multiple different points it told me "you fucked up so bad you need to report to github"

at some point i just accepted that the file would not stop breaking and had a routine out of reloading it not even noticing the errors anymore. there are no explanations/guides whatsoever for most of the animation&texture systems and the only thing i could rely on was pure faith and trial and error over hours. i'm going to see UV maps in my nightmares, for the love of god dont ever touch blockbench if you value your sanity.

but i wanted to be NeonPawExaltedMinecraftPawsReal so i am NeonPawExaltedMinecraftPawsReal

i'm GOING to keep going and get crazier until it stops me

either i will have my 1 million paws or the game will crash because it cant handle my true power

(and a shoutout to meyeswat for afterwards doing the animations because after i modeled her she had to be handed off to someone else since i was wiped)

if you can't find a CustomPlayerModels model then you can just use MorePlayerModels to turn into a bug (or any other of the 500 mobs) idk whatever you feel like. Be a bug and live in 1 block high dirt tunnels underground communing with your hive of quantum nuclear bees helping you ascend to the nightmare dimension. or touch grass and play with chickens all day, IDC as long as you are stylish about it.

spawning into a new Meatballcraft world is like having my brain jacked into the matrix. it took like two minutes for the achievement popups to end

in survival mode you start with your inventory 90% full of guidebooks from the 300 different mods

this is the ideal Minecraft. you may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like
