The hybrid stumbled upon him after she collapsed from exhaustion, having been running for miles now, barely stopping to catch her breath at any point - she couldn’t afford to, not when they were hot on her tail. But she was hesitant to accept his aid. Trust had always been an issue for her - it didn’t matter what situation she was in, she couldn’t trust anyone, even those willing to help her. Everyone had an ulterior motive in her experience.
