This is because I am sick of people spitting on Yui’s face.

Yui is the BEST MC Diabolik Lovers could have had.

"Yui is annoying and never fights back"

She is tiny, stuck in a mansion (where the hell do you want her to run to), against vampires who are faster, stronger, and can teleport. Game over for her. It’s not like she never fought back, she kicked and slapped Laito, slapped Kou and Ruki, pushed Subaru almost making him fall down, stomps on Shu, talks back to Reiji… she isn’t doing « nothing ».

She also is smart enough to realize that if she fights back constantly, they will hurt her ten times more.

Then, let’s remember that Yui grew up without a mother figure and her dad was severe and distant. She said herself that they rarely spent time together and she had to eat most meals alone. Then, she also added she never had that many friends. Hence, we can imagine it has always been very complicated for her to bond with people and understand them as a whole, and finding herself in a mansion full of people with their attention centered on her can be overwhelming. Then, her decision is to drown in her shyness and keep her thoughts and feelings to herself. Hence, fighting for herself and keeping her ground is something she never learnt.

Also, Yui is a christian. She firmly believes that violence of any kind is inherently wrong and refuses to partake in any.

Then, I understood why many people were hating on Yui. I found out that many criticized her for liking the girly, pink, cute, fairy like aesthetic, bunnies, and for not being a goth thigh high assassin. That’s extremely pick me. Like, a female character has to be strong and tomboyish and not like anything "girl related" in order to be accepted as a female character? Yui survived (if we take the good endings) because she stayed true to herself, to her convictions, her beliefs, and didn’t change her personality to appear more likable or less "girly" in front of the boys in her household.

She survived because she didn’t act like Y/N in the DL fanfictions on Wattpad because let’s be real, if Yui had acted out, fought or talked back, she wouldn’t have survived one night.

Laito's playful and alluring gaze softens as he looks down at his adorable daughter. His expression shifts from mischievous to affectionate as he gently bends down to her level, a warm smile spreading across his face. “Ahn~ My sweet little angel, what a pleasant surprise.” He scoops her up into his arms, cradling her against his chest as he was gently brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. “What is it, my darling? Papa is here.” I want to play with you, papa! ”

he feels a surge of protectiveness, a primal instinct to shield her from any harm.

His daughter's eyes were full of joy. With childlike enthusiasm. " Hide-and-seek, Papa! Hide-and-seek” she exclaimed.

Laito chuckles softly, playing along with his daughter's excitement. “Hide-and-seek it is, my little princess!” He sets her down gently and raises a finger to his lips, signaling her to stay quiet. “You go find a place to hide, and I'll count to ten. But remember, no peeking!"

His daughter nods eagerly and scampers off, her small footsteps echoing through the hallway. As soon as she disappears, Laito lets out a dramatic sigh. “Oh, where could my little girl be hiding?” he says aloud, his voice filled with mock confusion. He begins to count slowly, loud enough for her to hear.

“1…2…3…” His eyes twinkle mischievously as he dramatically pretends to search for her, peeking behind the curtains and opening closet doors with exaggerated curiosity. He purposefully takes longer than necessary, building up anticipation for his daughter.

“8…9…10! Ready or not, here I come!” Laito exclaims, his voice filled with artificial surprise. He slowly walks through the mansion, occasionally pausing to listen for any giggles or rustling sounds. Deep down, he revels in the game, knowing he could find her in an instant if he wanted to.

As Laito roams through the estate, he puts on a show of diligently searching, calling out her name with a playful tone. “Where could my little princess be hiding? His voice resonates through the halls, vibrating with an air of delightful suspense.

“Where could my little princess have gone? Oh, I seem to have lost her already!” He puts a hand to his forehead dramatically, a playful pout forming on his lips.

After a few more minutes of playful searching, Laito's eyes gleam mischievously as he approaches her hiding spot, a knowing smirk tugging at the corners of his lips. He lowers his voice, feigning uncertainty. “Could she be behind this curtain?” he wonders aloud, growing closer to her true hiding spot.

Finally, with a dramatic flourish, he pulls back the curtain, revealing his daughter's hiding place. His eyes light up with joy as he sees her adorable face, filled with excitement and anticipation. “Found you, my little darling!” he exclaims, scooping her up and showering her with tickles and kisses.

Laito revels in the pure happiness radiating from his daughter, his heart swelling with paternal love. In this moment, there is no room for his mischievousness or seduction—all that exists is the genuine bond between father and daughter.

🎵 Shu Sakamaki x Yui Komori 🎵

Yui was walking in the corridor while holding the pregnancy test and trying to find Shu. She was very happy. As much as she could fly with happiness. But part of her was worried. She didn't know how Shu would react. She knew that Shu was very impatient and might not be interested in children at all. But Yui always wanted to be a mother.

She entered the room and found that he was listening to music and lying on the bed. Yui called him with a trembling voice and tries to attract Shu's attention.

Shu sits impatiently on the bed and looks at Yui with half-opened eyes.

"What's so important about ruining my song? It better be worth it, otherwise I won't forgive you."

Yui went to Shu and gave Shu the pregnancy test while her hands were shaking with excitement.

"Shu-san... I... I... am pregnant."

Shu was staring at the pregnancy test with wide and shocked eyes. He was neither breathing nor reacting, he was completely absorbed in his thoughts.

"Shu-san? Aren't you happy?"

With Yui's words, he came to his senses and raised his head from the pregnancy test and stared into Yui's eyes. Suddenly the shock in his eyes disappeared and turned into a warm smile. He gently took Yui's hand and pulled her into his arms and started caressing Yui's belly. He kissed Yui's forehead and buried his nose in Yui's soft hair, inhaling her scent.

"You took it, Yui. It was really worth more than my song. I can't wait to wake up to the sound of someone other than you."

Yui laughed and Shu slowly laid down on the bed with her while caressing her stomach. And Shu whispers softly.

"I am going to be a father."

Reiji was studying in his lab as usual until there was a sound at the door and he realized that Yui was behind the door and let her in.

Yui entered the room and Reiji was still reading his book, and if he paid attention to Yui's face, he would have noticed that she was worried. Until Yui's trembling voice caught Reiji's attention.

"Reiji-san...I...need...to talk to you..."

Noticing Yui's troubled state, Reiji closed his book and placed it on the table, adjusted his glasses with his middle finger, and turned his head to look at Yui.

"What do you want to talk about?"

"Reiji-san... I'm... pregnant."

Hearing this word, Reiji's eyes widened for a brief second. A warm smile appeared on his lips and he slowly walked over to Yui and hugged him.

"Congratulations, my beloved Yui. From now on, you will be under the care of the best doctors."

Reiji kissed Yui's forehead and guided her to the bed as if from now on she would just rest until their baby was born.

Yui was trying to make Ayato believe that he was going to be a father. Yui puffed her cheeks in frustration and turned away from Ayato.

"Are you really serious? So why didn't your belly get bigger at all?"

Yui blushed in embarrassment and elbowed Ayato.

"Because the child is still very small. It takes a few months to grow up."

Ayato finally believed. He screamed loudly and hugged Yui and spun her around in the air, still screaming with joy until his brothers could hear him.

"Oi, you bastards, I'm going to be a father."

Yui covered her face with her palm out of embarrassment. She doubted Ayato was mature enough to be a father.

Ayato gently kissed Yui's lips and hugged and caressed her.

"Ore-sama is the best teacher in the world. Ore-sama is the best in everything, even being a father. I promise you."

Yui laughed and hugged Ayato.

Yui was holding a pregnancy test and was shaking. She never knew how Kanato's relationship with the children would be and she was worried that Kanato how would react.

Yui walked into Kanato's room and found him hugging Teddy as usual.

"Kanato-kun... I need to... talk to you."

Kanato looked at Yui fondly. He didn't feel like talking much.

"If you waste my time, I will punish you."

Shivering, Yui showed Kanato the pregnancy test.

"Kanato-kun... I'm pregnant."

Kanato was obsessed with the pregnancy test and didn't seem too excited.

"Why didn't you try to stop this?"

Tears flowed from Yui's eyes. She expected such a reaction and could not hide the sadness hidden in her heart more than this and started to cry.

"I am sorry."

Kanato looked at Yui with a surprised face.

"Why are you crying? You mean you love it so much? Even more than me? Teddy, this girl is very stupid. Ne?

Yui tried to wipe away her tears.

"Yes, Kanato-kun. I love it because it is your child and mine. I like to raise it together."

Kanato suddenly hugged Yui. Yui was shocked and didn't expected this at all and calmed down in Kanato's arms.

"don't be stupid I will never let anything happen to what is mine. This child is also mine. That doll is mine. I don't want anything to happen to you and it."

Leito's eyes widened when he heard this sentence. He felt dizzy and almost passed out. He took help from the bed so he wouldn't fall and sat on the bed slowly.

"Laito-kun... I thought you... would be happy."

Laito regained consciousness and looked at Yui, who was looking at him with teary eyes.

"Ha.... No... No... Yui-chan... I'm happy. I'm so happy. Only I am not sure that I can be a good father."

Yui hugged Laito tightly and cried softly. Shocked by Yui's warm embrace, Laito kissed and caressed her, and he started to cry too.

With Yui's sweet words, Laito smiled happily and kissed Yui's lips.

Kou has dried up. He was shocked and did not know what to say. He suddenly gave a loud cry of happiness and hugged Yui tightly and started kissing Yui all over the face.

Kou could not stop. He was very happy. He gently caressed Yui's stomach and kissed it.

"I can't wait to see my little cat."

Yui opened the door to Carla's room and tried to get his attention.

Carla turned his face towards Yui and his eyes were waiting for Yui to speak."

Yui blushed in embarrassment and looked at the ground, not understanding Carla's reaction.

Yui could hear Carla's footsteps coming towards her and he grabbed her chin and forced her to look him in the eyes.

"Always keep your head up my dear. You are my queen and my pride."

Carla kissed Yui's lips and hugged her and stroked her soft hair.

"Yui, I will love you and our child from the bottom of my heart. You were the one who taught me humanity and I will teach you by loving our child that I have learned an important lesson from you."

Yui smiled and relaxed in Carla's arms, and she could feel that she was crying with happiness.

Shin's wolves gathered around him and Yui tried to bring Shin to himself while petting them.

Shin has been shocked for five minutes. Hearing the news of his fatherhood, he is so excited that he cannot even speak.

Finally, Shin shook and screamed with joy.

"I am going to be a father. Nii-san is going to be an uncle... I can't wait to tell him the news."

Shin rushed to the castle to tell his brother the news, leaving Yui alone and Yui sighed in frustration.

"At least congratulate me first or give me a hug...or something....fufu."

Yui frowned and puffed her cheeks and forcefully grabbed Kino's phone from him to get his attention.

"Hey... what are you doing? I was winning."

"Kino-kun... I'm pregnant."

Kino's eyes widened. He completely forgot about the game and raised Yui's shirt to look at her belly and gently patted it and Yui blushed.

"Heh.... Kino-kun.... what are you doing?"

"I think your stomach is too small. Are you sure you have a child or not?"

Yui hit Kino hard in the chest.

"Kino-kun... I'm serious. You are going to be a father."

Kino finally believed and smiled and hugged Yui tightly and kissed her cheek.

"Thank you my dear princess.'

With their daughters

— shuu sakamaki

It was late at night. The eldest Sakamaki was sleeping with his dear wife. Shu lay on his back and his wife's head and hand on his chest. It was a good sensation.

When a little hand poked him, he slowly awakened. He narrowly opened his eyes to see his infant looking at him with wide and tearful eyes. She was gently weeping. Shu's eyes widened slightly in the state of his daughter. Shu slowly straightened in bed being careful not to wake his wife, straightened in bed. He called out to his daughter in a tired voice.

He slowly straightened out in bed. With a tired voice, he said to his daughter;

“ Hey, why are you crying? ”

He softly patted his knee and asked for her to sit on his lap. His lovely daughter went into her father's lap without hesitation. She held him tightly as Shu caressed her soft hair gently.

“ D-daddy, I had a nightmare… M-mum and you… you were leaving me… ”

He looked down at his daughter, who was embracing him tightly. His lips formed a slight smirk. He continued to stroke her hair for a while.

As her weeping decreased, he carefully pulled back her little daughter, cupped her soft cheeks with his hand, and lifted her head slightly. So their eyes could connect. He softly kissed her forehead and brushed her tears away.

“ You don't have to be worried. It's just a nightmare. Dad and Mum will never abandon you, promise. ”

His daughter leaned back into his father's chest once again. after a short time and she spoke in whispering tones;

“ Promise? ”

Shu giggled quietly, his attention tenderly focused on his little daughter, who was snuggled in his chest.

“ Promise. The promise of the father. ”

His daughter shook her head slightly and she drew back slightly to look at her father, her small hands clinging to his father's arm tightly..

“ Can I sleep with you and Mum, Dad? ”

How could he say no to such a sweet and innocent request for permission?

“ Okay… but only this once...”
